What a difference 60 years makes juxtaposition of Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special, 1964 & Cadillac CT6, 2024. The new generation of the CT6 (Cadillac Touring 6) has been revealed for the Chinese market (the previous generation was discontinued in the US in 2020). Whereas the Sixty Special rode on a 129.5in (3,289mm) wheelbase and was 223.5in (5,677mm) long the new CT6 sits on a 122.4in (3,109mm) wheelbase and measures 205.6in (5,223mm) in length making in Cadillac's largest saloon. The CT6 is powered by a 233hp Chinese-made 2.0 litre turbo 4 cylinder engine, whereas the Sixty Special came with a 340hp 7.0 litre (429ci) V8

24. featherlight kisses over their entire face

although albedo didnt mind it, you werent the most affectionate type. its okay since he liked to be the one leading you into his arms. but today was such an awful day especially when his experiment was such a failure. he doesn’t know what variable made it combust in such a way. maybe it was the control variable? it doesn’t matter though; maybe he will figure it out later. at least he gets to see you at last.

as the sun shined through the blinds, albedo unlocked the oak door with the keys. he walked into the house, feeling the weight of the failure on his shoulders. the living room was empty and no sign of you in the room. he trudged into the shared bedroom, ditching the extra layers he was wearing. he was looking for you and the weight of his heart went lighter when he saw you sitting in the bed.

you had a book propped between your hands. as albedo walked closer to you, he noticed that you were reading an inazuman book. specifically, one of the books he bought on his trip to inazuma as calx. he wasn’t the type to read romantic books. this specific book reminded him of your relationship with him. “star-crossed lovers…” it is quoted in the book. but it said, “not in the romeo and juliet way though.”

your voice snapped him from his tangent trance, “bad day?”

“unfortunately, yes, i did. an experiment has gone wrong and im not sure what exactly went wrong.” albedo responded as he made his way to the bed. he laid on the spot right next to you as you gestured to him to lay on your lap. he gladly obliged.

“you didn’t try to ‘bedo your way through it?”

“bedo?”

you laughed, “well, you are usually very determined to figure out what would go wrong during the experiment. do you want to walk me through it or do you want to talk about something else?” you subconsciously brush your hand through his blond locks as he took your hand and pressed himself against it.

“as much i do want to talk about it, we can later. im just happy to see you since you are my sun to my world.”

“stop it.” your hand withdrew from his face and the warmth albedo had next to his cheek disappeared.

albedo lifted his head and cocked it, “stop what?” he paused and waited for your answer. waiting if he said something wrong to make you uncomfortable. yet, nothing was said but it was written all over your face. your face was flushed with a coral red color. he hasnt seen that face in a while… were you hiding the fact you were flustered the whole time he would flirt with you?

“you know what you’re doing, ‘bedo!” you yelped as he got off of your lap and sat in front of you, cupping your face. “bedo!” the book you were reading was discarded as it fell out of your lap onto the floor.

as bedo cupped your face, he pressed light kisses on your face, each time, his warmth leaves your face, he replaced it with a new kiss. stubborn that you were the one smothered with love, you cupped his face instead. his strength to cup yours faltered as you gave him a kiss on his forehead, then his nose and lips. you peeked out of your closed eyes as you met eyes with albedo and his teal eyes. you could see the pseudo hearts forming in his pupils.

you broke the kiss with a breathy laugh as albedo seemed like he wanted more. “oh archons, albedo,” you whispered as he leaned to your face.

“one more time?”

I think it's funny that Connor can adapt to work with pretty much any human team, but if you form a team exclusively of RK800 models, I imagine it to be kind of a mess. All of them would strive to be the leader and would see other Connors as competition and it'll stress the hell out of each of them. No, they'll accomplish anything they ought to accomplish, they'll work as a powerful team together if necessary, but man they'd be so dead serious and uptight about it, they will start overheating just from the stress of a pressure they put on themselves to be the best one.

OK SO. originally i was gonna be like oooooo thats spoilers ahaha 😋 cant tell youuuuu but at this point!!!!!! everything i say is spoilers for my rewrite because ive just taken every single headcanon ive ever had in me LIFE and jammed it into the margins of this story so !!!!!! WHO GIVE A SHIT. FREE INFO ON THE WONDERLAND ARC HERE YOU GO!! GOD KNOWS ITS GOING TO TAKE US LONG ENOUGH TO GET THERE ANYWAY

i always thought that, being royalties of wonderland (that of the redford and hearts families, more on that here!) lizzie and chase would have known each other as children, meeting at some tea summit or another and forming an instant, unbreakable bond as small children in close promixity to each other instantly tend to do. i think i described their childhood friendship a while ago as 'a nine yr old being dragged around a dinner party by another, much more violent nine year old' and that is essentially the beginning and end of it.

lizzie, being headstrong and insistent since birth, immediately adopted meek, quiet chase as her Best Friend Given The Circumstances, possibly (definitely) because he would just agree with everything she said and hold things steady while she cut them in half. over the years, they grew up together and lizzie cemented herself as chase's primary protector, mostly from the red queen, who lizzie would have no problem screaming at to GET OUT if she tried to interrupt their games or berate chase at tea summits, which chase did (and continues to) struggle to do himself.

in turn, chase had always been far more cool-headed than lizzie, and his conversation proved grounding throughout the many rages and episodes lizzie grew up enduring.

their friendship is very specific to the circumstances they grew up in but that serves only to make it stronger!! lizzie did not have many other people in her life who could relate to growing up royalty, and chase had essentially no other people, so they really #get each other which makes what is going to happen in the wonderland arc that much fucking worse! hope this helps!

i love rusty quill gaming so much. it's one of the two ttrpg podcasts i've listened to so far (the other being d&daddies), but i just know deep in my soul that very probably no other ttrpg podcast will ever mean as much to me as rqg does.
