I feel like Star Wars missed the opportunity to make Darth Maul and Count Dooku beef. Like all there’s this conversation about Maul and Kenobi’s relationship but imagine being Count Dooku and you gotta live with the fact that the mf who killed your Padawan (one of the events that ended up making you align yourself with the Sith) is alive and living his best life. I would be so pissed. Sidious had to tell Count Dooku not to fuck with Maul bc I refuse that Dooku had no want to slide for Qui Gon Jinn

You know what, no. I refuse to believe that Palpatine is part of a secret unbroken line of Sith stretching back a thousand years who have secretly been biding their time for generations. The Sith are megalomaniac egotistical bastards bent on galactic domination who are so incapable of thinking ahead that they had to be reduced to two people to avoid total self destruction, you’re telling me that those people sat by and waited patiently for centuries so someone else in the future could gain victory over the Jedi? Or that the Jedi somehow missed one of the two people that comprise the Sith? Or that the master apprentice chain didn’t just collapse in on itself when they killed each other in a promotion gone wrong? Yeah, right. Unless there’s a magical Sith meter with “The Republic must be THIS corrupt to destroy the Jedi”, one of them would have tried taking over the galaxy with 50 years of the fake extinction. At best.
What I bet actually happened is either Darth Tenebrous or the Sith directly before him found some Sith artificacts, declared themself a Sith, and lied to their apprentice for legitimacy, and it was just dumb luck that it lasted to Sidious’ time without one of them snapping and blowing their cover early. They’re as much ancient Sith as any of the people who declared themselves heir to the Romans.

POST ROTJ FORCE GHOST ANAKIN
Honestly post ROTJ Anakin has the potential of being an awesome chaos gremlin. He has all the force power of Anakin developed with the discipline and ruthlessness of Vader, coupled with his new found sense of compassion and unlimited love, a wish to right his wrongs and years of training from the light and dark side masters.
He can go to any astral plane be it light or dark or any force strong planet be it of the Sith or the Jedi, in fact he rescued Luke from Sith spirits while he was exploring a Sith planet in one of the novels. I want my boy to expend his next life turning former sith acolytes to the lightside, rescuing people from the remmants of the Empire or the Sith Order or just visiting and helping new Jedi without them realizing it´s him or him just hanging out with Thrawn for old times sake while telling him he totally needs to make a peace deal with the New Republic.
20 years of pain, suffering and darkness left him ready to unleash his most fun and playful side with a side of the old wise Papa bear master, seriously, I want to see him low key protecting Luke, Leia, Ahsoka, Han, C3PO and R2 without them noticing and I am totally here for that.

I Strongly Dislike the Concept of Palpatine as Naturally Evil
I am a Palpatine fan because I like how fun he is on-screen being evil (largely due to Ian McDiarmid’s acting and the overall shallowness of the characters in the movies), but forty-something years after the Emperor (and I like him called that way better than “Emperor Palpatine”) first graced the screen, I do feel tired of the same tricks played over and over again, that Palpatine is basically a male evil witch. I’ve long been a supporter of a deeper dive into Palpatine the person as a solution to this fatigue. We don’t have to have a formally Palpatine-centric major story (i.e. something on-screen), just something explaining his personal philosophy a little deeper would be welcome. Sadly, I do think such a project is unforeseeable in the near future because there’s a shift in vision.
In Lucas’ era (pre-2013, let’s just say), Palpatine is incredibly evil but there are still gapes of humanity within him, there even—as some visual guides, interviews, and novels would indicate—an attempt to build some type of “molding the world according to what I see as good” character with him starting in the Prequels years up to 2012. As a digression, I do find this concept coupled with his pursuit of power fascinating, “he is selfish, but” but “he is for progress, but”. A rather brain-tickling fictional fellow if executed correctly. But, and I do sense it becoming more and more evident, the idea has never been advanced since. There’s a prevailing concept of Palpatine as naturally the personification of evil nowadays.
On a more laughable basis, I don’t like the concept because it prevents my favorite character from being something much more interesting through character study pieces or simply by not being always relegated to the role of Final Boss in a Popular American Sci-Fi Franchise. On a deeper note, I think that the core message of Star Wars is choices between doing the right or wrong things. The story of Anakin’s redemption is ultimately that, his fall too though within more complicated circumstances. Ben Solo made the decision to emulate his idealized grandfather, and so on. I do think it would be unfair to suddenly enact extreme predestination on one guy to be evil (but how does “the will of the Force” work, does it set a rigid roadmap for everything?). And more, it would erase the profundity of his evilness so much if you think about it.
See, you have this man right here, he is incredibly evil, billions suffer because of this single human being. But then you find out that he has a severe, undeniable urge to maim, to destroy, to oppose all authority, value, and system, to play God whatever the cost, all for his own natural satisfaction. I do think there could be arguments for him not fully out of his mind, intelligent and educated enough to know norms and values, and there are steps to prevent natural predispositions to become harmful, but I personally would be a little less harsh toward such characters compared to characters who without any internal or external pressure choose evil freely. This relates to accountability, how much can we attribute to his free will?
I like my villains soberly choosing evil. (this doesn’t mean I sideline the “nurture” factor or the more complex “nature” reasoning, only that I hold them to some extent lesser of a consideration when judging). If he is evil out of his own free will, the question would be “Why?” which would be answered with a multitude of interesting personal history, cultural influences, and beliefs, making the character interesting. Let’s compare that to a scenario where Palpatine is naturally evil. You ask “Why?” and the answer you’ll get is akin to “It is how it is”, which is an incredible bore for me. The more freely the person chooses evil, the better for me.
So, yeah, I don’t like Palpatine fixed as the Dark Side incarnate. I like him incredibly evil but still very much human. Note, I do not see his pursuit of power as something inhuman, it is terrifyingly human, but maybe couple it with something else (needn’t be redeeming or sob-story-ish). Or maybe, let him mature into the incredible evil with nearly all of his humanity absent. I can totally enjoy that, as long as it’s not him being born evil.

According to leaks awhile ago Disney was possibly entertaining the notion of somehow reviving Kylo Ren/Ben Solo in a future movie. I would definitely be here for it. One of the things that many star wars fans loved about the EU was the Skywalker Family drama & lineage. Hell my first ever Star Wars story reading was the Cade Skywalker stories.. Disney has already shown and made it clear it's not bringing back old concepts in the same way. I feel Bringing back Ben Solo and having him and Rey establish the Skywalker lineage in this new continuity would be a great salvage. Hell probably would make the lineage stronger 😅. Not to mention a lot of fans loved Mara Jade and Luke Skywalker relationship. So the Ben & Ren story could also serve to fill that void. Not to mention the lack of power Luke was in comparison to his legends self. In this way this New Ben Solo could be what Luke was to Legends. Meaning this overpowered Skywalker Jedi Grandmaster. It's said the George Lucas mentioned that Luke was what Anakin could've become had he been whole and not half cyborg 😅. In this new canons we have Anakin fell and due to injuries couldn't fulfill his potential.. Luke gave up being a Jedi for a decade+(Seemingly in Canon he didn't achieve even half as much as he did in legends) ..So Ben Solo to me (with fully functioning limbs + being a practicing Jedi for decades)could finally be that character in modern canon.
How would they bring him back. Listen Anakin is a literal chosen one who was created by the force 😂. Have either him or the force bring back Ben as a act of balance for the force😅.
With Grogu being able to live a long time + a New Skywalker lineage their will be countless new star wars stories to tell . Hopefully Disney takes it more serious when planning the future movies💯

Korriban, known as Pesegam during the reign of Xim, and also known as Moraband during the Clone Wars, was the sole planet in the Horuset system, located across the galaxy from Koros Major. It was the original homeworld of the Sith species and a sacred planet for the Sith Order, housing the tombs for many ancient and powerful Dark Lords of the Sith, and containing immense dark side power.
After the Hundred-Year Darkness, the remaining Dark Jedi interbred with the Sith species and ruled the Sith using their Force powers. After the Great Hyperspace War, Korriban was abandoned and became a barren world. It was the site of a Sith Academy during the Great Sith War, Jedi Civil War, Great Galactic War, Cold War,  and New Sith Wars and was the headquarters of the Brotherhood of Darkness and One Sith.
It was close to Bosthirda and was located on the Nache Bhelfia and Kamat Krote hyperspace lanes.

“Kill him.”
Two words. Two words was all it took to render the pain of Dooku’s sizzling stumps where his hands had once been into nothing but an illusion.
The pain transports itself to his heart, his soul, his mind, his everything. It consumes him like a rathtar would easily consume its prey. The prey in this situation is obvious, he would be deluded to think otherwise, but the rathtar not so. From an outside perspective, one would immediately and wrongfully assume it is the opponent who has bested him in combat.
But he isn’t. He isn’t even looking at him.
Instead, Dooku looks at the real predator. The real rathtar. The rathtar in the form of a senior human male, white receding hair combed at neatly backwards, dressed in Courscanti grey robes, and cool-glass blue eyes that act as daggers to stab his now-false hopes to the core.
Supreme Chancellor Palpatine of the Galactic Republic. Former Senator of Naboo. Dark Lord of the Sith. Darth Sidious.
His master. Or rather, very soon, his former master.

I see people who prop up Sith characters at the expense of Jedi characters bring up how the Jedi Order supposedly doesn't accept other Force traditions.
If I recall in CANON, there is SOME basis for that but the Sith literally orders the Inquisitors to purge and descarate other force-based traditions and groups (the basis for the Empire/Inquisitorius's presence in Zeffo with Jedi: Fallen Order) as part of their directive for those that don't conform whereas the Jedi actually just respect it and agree to disagree depedning on what tradition and belief spoken about.

So Kreel failed in one of his missions to get Luke and his friends, Vader is a little pissed off so he starts his usual talk about "You have failed me for the last.." because Kreel may be one of his favorite officers, in fact he has allowed him to train with a lightsaber and has teached him some tecniques but he has a reputation and now he is planning to punish him by taking away the lightsaber he gave him to practice and aks Kreel how can he be sure he won´t fail him again and then Kreel answers this.
Tumblr media
Vader expression here is priceless, he´s looking at Kreel as if thinking "Now this is my kind of loyalty""At last I found someone who sees loyalty as I do" "where have you been all my life?" Vader doesn´t just allows Kreel and his men another chance, he actually gives him a Jedi lightsaber and tells him to be worthy of it.
Tumblr media
I just love the implication here that Vader considers this level of loyalty and self- sacrifice for the sake of the mission Jedi Qualities, so he gives him the weapon that identifies him as one when he had been talking just a few panels ago to Kreel about him not being good enough to become a "sith" which Kreel promtly told him, he doesn´t care because he is proud to be a trooper of the 501 st because it was them, not the sith, the ones who rescued him and his planet.
Moments like this when Vader has a real talk with his men are so good, they show the complicated feelings over the Jedi and Sith identities Anakin/Vader should have, the same ones Luke detected during their duel and this also is evidence that Vader had a nuanced view of both Jedi and Sith. He may no longer consider himself a Jedi but he respected them as enemies.

Is she a 'Lord' or a 'Lady'
Not sure how it is canon-wise, but I stand by this:
Sith Lord is a gender-neutral title, like Jedi Master is. But it is a title earned, not inherited. Male or female, a Sith will be referred to as (my/mi) Lord if they rose through Sith ranks.
Hovewer, if a Sith Lord marries a Sith of lower rank or non Force user who is female, the latter may be referred to as Lady [insert family name she married into], which is not equal to Lord.
I'm fairly sure this was talked and argued about before, but when I had to brainstorm about my Sith OCs for swtor, one of them, the Sith Inquisitor, is female, and I had to decide to myself whether she'd be new Lord Kallig or Lady Kallig. She is Lord Kallig, but if she were to marry a woman, her wife would be Lady Kallig.
Don't care if it'll irk others, but I have decided for my own worldbuilding of swtor that there is a Sith Lord/ Dark Lord etc, which is superior to Sith/Dark Lady. My Ashara will be called Lady Zavros in the Empire since she is not a Sith but an apprentice to one, same as Jaesa is Lady Wilsaam (Light! Jaesa and Sith apprentice Jaesa until she 'graduates').
