We've hit Fall Saturday in the Chill Save, and instead of more store times today, we instead have a party! Because Smiler needs to have more parties, and I wanted the specific rewards you got from this specific party. :D However, before we had party times, we had to get through a few things --

-->Firstly, Victor had to discharge again upon waking up -- wouldn't be good if he magically exploded during the party! He and Alice hung out with the cats for a little bit -- Victor getting a song from one of the kittens by the phonograph (as said kittens are very Talkative) and Alice giving Kelly some time with the laser pointer -- then I sent Victor to the mirror to make an important change. Not to his wardrobe --

But to his, and everyone else's, last names. I THOUGHT I might have to go into "Manage Worlds" to change this, but as it turns out, you can update a Sim's name right from the mirror. So everyone in the household is now surnamed "Van Liddelton," like their grocery store! :D I was very happy to be able to do that -- while I wasn't exactly UPSET with them all ending up with the last name "Always" from the web of weddings we've had in this save, I genuinely prefer being able to give them a name that reflects all of them. :)

-->With THAT sorted, it was time to get to chores! Smiler set up the party, then popped into the greenhouse to make some sadness alleviation lotion before heading back to their robotics bench to tune up Bugs and Elmer. Alice spent a little more time slathering Kelly with love (gotta make sure mama cat is content), then headed to the computer to start a new Playful book ("What's One And One And One And," a book on Wonderland mathematics -- think those Wayside School math puzzle books), and Victor bought a bunch of dyes and started making more candles to put in the store later -- before getting distracted by Shadow wanting some attention. Victor felt the love from the dog, then decided to continue "Play Dead" training. As you can see, Shadow's got it down pat! :) Good girl, Shadow!

Lance finally maxed the guitar skill, so I bought him a vielle of his own so he could practice anywhere.

I did a few in-game days of just writing songs at triple speed to fulfill one of the goals to his aspiration, so I didn't get many screenshots. Also I just wanted to skip through to spring so I could have the wedding.

I think this is one of the earliest dresses from the Store, I remember putting it on every sim because of that fan 😁 I wasn't initially going to add a maternity morph for the adult version, but the generated one for teens was decent, so I figured—eh, what's one more TSRW project?

For teen-elder females. Formal, Career, Maternity. Not enabled for random.

3 channels, 3 presets. I was initially going to keep EA's original presets, but decided I hated them after seeing them so often during testing.

Converted from Sims 3 Store Rococo set - edited and adapted for Sims 4.

Tops: soft, frilly. Sleeveless. Two variations - tucked or untucked.

Bloomers: Three variations: short, knee length, longer.

Skirt: Three variations: short, midi, maxi length

86 swatches.

I counted: each age version has 1000+ possible combos.

There may be some clipping with the untucked version - it is optimized for the pants/skirts from the same set.

All versions merged in one handy file.

All the different age versions take their textures form the adult versions - one merged file for each.

Unmerge the files if you want to edit or remerge but remember to keep the files together.

semi-new to Simblr, lol.

the title is a bit of a lie, but, LET ME EXPLAIN.

hi, I'm Solita Sims. I am a Sims 4 content creator and have been a Sims 4 content creator for almost two years now. I am mostly known for my unhinged, chaotic storytelling TikTok / TikTok & YouTube content. I have a FEW series which you may or may not have seen before...

DE VAUSE

Diandra and Monroe de Vause are high school sweethearts that share a turbulent, chaotic life with one another in Brindleton Bay, along with 5 children: Regina, Naomi, Odessa, Somer, & Kai. After a traumatic event happens to their second daughter Naomi, causing her to dabble in poor habits & decision making, a family secret is unveiled, causing a rift between the matriarch and patriarch that they may never be able to come back from.

Unfortunately, as of today, November 11, this series has been retired. Though the episodes will always be available and I do plan on sharing their story in other ways in the future. Feel free to read my explanation as to why here, here, or here.

LEGACY CHALLENGE

TW: mention of drug use & miscarriage

My first ever Sims 4 Legacy challenge stars the Volkovs (generation 1 & 2) and the Kealohas (generation 2 & 3). We first started the series following our Founder Alexis Dionne Ketter turned Alexis Dionne Volkov as she paraded around San Myshuno looking for any daddy to give her woohoo or money. She found several - Roy D. Dillon, Tai Lum, Bjorn Bjersen, and Wolfgang Wilder - before eventually falling in love with her enemy, Kristopher Volkov, and starting a life with him in Moonwood Mill. Together, they share six children: Ezra, Autumn (our Heir), Nicole, Edward, Clint, and Renesmee.

Alexis is now an Elder, her dust era slowly approaching, and we have still been focusing on her as well as her daughter and our Heir, Autumn Priscilla Volkov turned Autumn Priscilla Kealoha. Autumn is currently an Adult, married to her Spellcaster childhood best friend Shanna Kealoha, and the two little lesbians recently welcomed their first {living} child, Sage Kealoha, into the world. But Autumn hadn't always had such a picture-perfect life; she struggled with severe drug addiction in her teen years and early Young Adult years after the sudden death of her big brother, Jacob Volkov, broke the heart of her former friend & lover Addison Chopra, had a rough battle with infertility, and miscarried her first son, River Kealoha. We will see what's in store for Autumn and her little family as they explore parenthood, the world of Spellcasting, and move away from Moonwood Mill.

NOT SO BERRY

My first ever Sims 4 Not So Berry challenge follows our Founder, Gwyneth Westwood of Windenburg, and her family; fiancé Joseph Bastianich, daughter and Heir Rosalie Bastianich, and half-human-half-alien daughter Bella Westwood-Stallings.

Gwyneth has a passion for science, logic, mischief, collecting elements, and romance. All she's ever wanted, besides succeeding as a WOC in her career field, is to be in love and have a baby. She eventually gets her wish, becoming engaged to her good friend, celebrity chef Joseph Bastianich, and having his baby and our Heir, Rosalie Bastianich. Though things get messy after a traumatic life event causes Joseph to become entangled with alcoholism.

Fast forward in the future, Gwyneth has stuck by Joseph and had a second daughter, Bella Westwood-Stallings, after getting abducted by Senior Pollinator Technician #3, or Tanisha Stallings, in the backyard of her home. Her life almost seems picture perfect as Joseph recovers from alcoholism, Rosalie blossoms into a teenager, and Tanisha becomes her good friend and a good mother to their daughter Bella. Little does she know about the secret Joseph is hiding from her and Rosalie.

NIKKI & AKIRA (occult)

The story of Nikki St. Germain & Akira Kibo was never meant to be a series, but their antics are so comical and ridiculous - especially since Nikki is my Simself - that I had to turn it into one.

Nikki simply went on a blind date, not expecting much from it, and happened to get paired with Akira Kibo - yes, the Akira Kibo - of San Myshuno. Things did not go well after Akira didn't flirt back with Nikki. She went home after, never expecting to see Akira Kibo again. It turns out that Nikki was deeply mistaken and had no idea what her future held for the two of them.

Akira asked for Nikki's forgiveness and the two began dating again, leading to an official relationship, until Akira cheated and contracted a WTD and almost gave it to Nikki. As revenge, Nikki broke up with him and turned him into Vampire, hoping he would fry in the sun. Little did she know that Akira would turn into one of the most powerful Vampires in the Simnation, win her heart over again, impregnate her with their daughter Beverly, and make their lives a living Hell.

I have not posted a Nikki & Akira episode since earlier this year, but I am highly considering bringing it back weekly or bi-weekly since the de Vause series is now retired.

Thrift Store Overhaul

Have you always wanted your Sims to be able to go to the store and purchase clothing items then only after purchasing these clothing items they will be unlocked in CAS? Well, this mod does exactly that!

The Thrift Store Overhaul mod overrides the current Thrift Store that came with the High School Years expansion pack. This mod locks every single clothing item, Accessories, and shoes in game and to unlock the items you'll have to purchase them at the Thrift Store and only the swatch of the clothing item you bought will be automatically unlocked. The Thrift Store Overhaul mod is currently only accessible for Teens, Young Adult, Adult, and Elders.

DLC: High School Years

This mod uses the XML Injector by SCUMBUMBO.

This mod is an OVERRIDE of the Thrift Store. This means that any other mod that overrides any file of the Thrift Store is NOT compatible!!

There are only a few clothing items that are currently not locked in game. These items have been purposely stayed unlocked so that your Sim can have an outfit when you start a new game. Also, Career outfits, traditional/cultural outfits, costumes, reward outfits, and ripped outfits are not locked.

Known Issues:

Get to Work retail system does not work! However, you can still purchase the outfit that is shown on the mannequin and wear it right away. Then after purchasing this outfit, I've added a new interaction: "Purchase a Different Outfit..." what will bring you into the Thrift Store outfit creation mode.

Clothes are not unlocked when you purchase them from another Sim on Trendi. However, you can still resell this outfit and wear the outfit when you click the wear outfit interaction.

If you do not purchase the first swatch of an outfit, you'll have two thumbnails in game showing the same outfit. One is the original and will have the lock on the thumbnail the second one is the colour swatch you've purchased. This is how EA's system works and not a bug in the mod. This doesn't cause any issues it's just annoying to look at.

GENERATION 1: ELENA GILBERT - THE VAMPIRE DIARIES

TRAITS: Over-Emotional, Dramatic, Brave, Family-Orientated, Hopeless Romantic. Any LTW, Any Career - Do NOT have to complete either.

Start in a fresh, untouched save.

Have 2 Best Friends.

Fall in love with a sim

Then fall in love with their sibling.

Gameplay Impact:

- Sims with this trait will experience dreams more frequently, while nightmares are a rare occurrence.

- Since they have good dreams all the time, your Sim will improve the skills related to creativity 20% faster than those without the trait. It's like a creativity supercharge!

- They recharge their energy 50% faster and see a slower drain, losing it 30% slower than usual. It's a win-win for both night owls and early risers.

- If they have 5 good dreams in a row, they'll get a special buff that makes them learn creativity-related skills even faster—by 50%:

- But it's not all sunshine and rainbows. Since they're so used to having dreams fuel their creativity, when a nightmare comes in, it hits them hard. Their creativity-related skills growth drops by 20%, and their energy drains 30% faster, making them function like a regular Sim for a bit:

- Sims with this trait can now perform a unique interaction: Gift a Night of Dreaming Harmony (usable once a day per sim). This interaction grants both the Eternal Dreamer and the sim receiving the gift a beneficial buff (with the buff description varying based on the recipient's age). The sims getting this Dreaming Harmony will enjoy 24 hours of nightmare-free dreams thanks to this interaction.

Tormented Sleeper:

Gameplay Impact:

- Sims with this trait will experience nightmares more frequently, while dreams are a rare occurrence.

- Since they have bad dreams all the time, your Sim will improve the skills related to creativity 20% slower than those without the trait. It's like their dreams are on a creativity strike!

- They recharge their energy 20% slower and see a faster drain, losing it 20% faster than usual. Night owls and early birds, prepare to struggle!

- If they have 5 nightmares in a row, they'll get a special debuff that makes them learn creativity-related skills 50% slower:

- It's not all nightmares and cold sweats, though. Since these Sims are so used to the bad, a good dream really flips the script. When they have a good dream, their creativity-related skills grow 20% faster, and their energy drains 30% slower, leveling the playing field for a bit:

- Sims with this trait can now perform a unique interaction: Share a Night of Tormented Sleep (usable once a day per sim). This interaction gives both the Tormented Sleeper and the sim receiving the vibe a brand new buff (with the buff description varying based on the recipient's age). Sims experiencing Tormented Sleep will have nightmares if they go to bed within 24 hours.

Sims with any of these traits also gain the ability to sense whether another sim had a dream or a nightmare, allowing them to initiate conversations about it. These two interactions, "You Had a Dream, Right? Tell Me About It!" and "You Had a Nightmare, Didn't You? Let's Talk It Out," trigger a reaction in both the initiating and the targeted sim, reflected by a corresponding buff (the buff description for the recipient sim varies based on their age):

I've also implemented some rules around these new traits to balance the gameplay. Just a heads-up so you know they're part of the mix.

- Sims can't have both 'Eternal Dreamer' and 'Tormented Sleeper' traits at the same time. So if you purchase one of the traits in the Rewards Store while having one of them already, the new one will take the place of the old one.

- An Eternal Dreamer won't be able to gift a night of Dreaming Harmony to another Eternal Dreamer.

- A Tormented Sleeper won't be able to share a night of Tormented Sleep with another Tormented Sleeper.

- Sims can either share their latest nightmare or their most recent dream with others, but not both at the same time. Seems like their memories aren't too great—once they've moved onto a new dream or nightmare, the previous one's outta there! (Next update: Dream Diaries?👀)

- If a Sim has the 'Nightmares Protection' buff from SleepGuard Tablets, the 'Refreshing Aroma' buff from a diffuser, or the 'Disable Nightmares for This Sim' cheat enabled, then Tormented Sleep shared by a Tormented Sleeper won't touch 'em. They're basically sleep Teflon at that point! 😴

- Whether it's an Eternal Dreamer trying to gift a 'Night of Dreaming Harmony' to a Sim with a 'Night of Tormented Sleep,' or vice versa, the original buff holds its ground. Neither will override the other, and both the giver and receiver end up with a brand new moodlet (with the buff description varying based on the recipient's age). So yeah, don't expect any dreamy miracles here:

Published: 11-7-2023 | Updated: 11-20-2023 SUMMARY “Inspired by the wealth of Bella Goth lore from the Sims/SimCity franchises (aka the “simsverse”), the Bella Brand Series includes more than a dozen sets and 230+ new business-themed items. Lore suggests that the wealth/influence of the Gilman, Crumplebottom, Bachelor, and Goth families increases considerably under Mortimer and Bella Goth, especially the latter. So, this series imagines what a prestigious Bella-based brand might look like…” Introducing FUNdawear, the newest addition to the Bella Park youth and young adult line. There is something for every sim, from casual sleepwear to comfy socks and pj’s. This set includes additional neon signage and packages which can be exchanged for simoleons or up to §100 towards a new outfit. See below for more info. DETAILS Requires ALL EPs/SPs. You need Mesh Set 001 (Simmons, 2023) and the Display Counter (BellasSecret_Counter_Somedaythesun)from the TS2 Maxis Match Lingerie Store Set (SomedayTheSun, 2023) – these items are required for all textures to display in-game. The counter uses recolors from the Bosenklavier Model B grand piano (Bon Voyage EP). Find recolors for the counter interior in the Bella Brand: Retail Floor Set (Simmons, 2023). Recolors may include swatches for items in other Bella Brand sets such as signs, packages, cosmetics, etc. Objects in Sims 2 are limited to two recolorable parts, so not all items are recolorable in the same way. Functional Apparel Objects Apparel objects are debug items and show up as “clothing pile” in the catalog (Misc > Dressers). They must be placed on one of the DEBUG displays/shelves or they’ll float. Once purchased, take them out of the sim’s inventory and choose from one of the following: Purchase Clothing. Select an outfit (or several) of any type. Each apparel object is worth §100 towards the TOTAL cost. Sims save more money (and your businesses make more money) if they use one apparel object per new outfit. Sell. Recycle the object for §100 simoleons. If you exit the Buy Clothing window without adding anything to your shopping cart, §100 will be added to the sim’s household funds instead. Apparel objects are worth §100 regardless of how much sims pay for them on OFB/community lots. Pricing an item below this amount can function like a discount sale (i.e., pay $75 in-store and §100 towards the purchase or a 25% “discount/rebate.” You can decide whether this counts as cheating). Pricing it above this amount is not recommended since sims will end up losing extra money. Debug objects have slots which “catch” fellow clones if you place them too close. To prevent this when trying to clutter them close together, turn “snap objects to grid” OFF and “move objects” OFF.

It’s been another 84 years good grief, so might as well go over the basics when it comes to my uploads! Everything’s been compressorized, textures reimported in to reduce pixelation, morphs included, and other ages are repositoried to adults to save space and headache (mine). Let me know if something’s wrong so I can get defensive about it and then maybe fix it.

I’ll probably sooner or later revisit the mesh conversions I’ve made if I spot lumps or bad bones or any other eyesores and update the files as I do.

It’s just a classic full body outfit from a few years back I made for Ichabod because I couldn’t be bothered to make the coat into a separate top at the time. I’m pretty sure I never posted it before though!

The coat’s something from the game I always wanted to use and edit, so now it’s been used and edited a little and there’s a new collar texture on it.

Just the two color options because that’s all I needed.

Conversion of this sweater by Nolan-sims, but none of the original color options feature. Another version by MegaMassikaLove already exists, too, which has the original recolors! These do not conflict.

Here’s a Bodyshop swatch of the colors on teens. They’re named pretentiously (but in a cool way) so just go through the adult files to check what you want and what you don’t. Teens and elders are repositoried to those, as mentioned above.

Back when I first discovered you could and should utilize the normal maps from Sims 4 in recolors to liven them up I experimented how to best do it. I don’t know if these first recolors were it, but they have existed since so might as well share!

The color range is four earthy and slightly depressing variations, categorized as everyday

Adults only, mesh included was edited by MegaMassika to float a bit further away from the butt and a preg morph was added as well.

So these boots were originally a TS3 Store item for kids, called Pantucket Pat Moccasins. Then Rukisims converted them for adults and I guess got rid of the bow on the texture? And then maybe chocolatesims converted them for the SIms 2. And some time ago I finally made some edits to the mesh, and combined them with the slacks I made uhh four years ago?

I think these were converted by someone else already but I can’t find them right now. But again, these come in colors a bit (if not exactly a lot) different to the original Sims 4 ones, and certainly not all of them.

The mesh shape goes along my Anatomy V2 body. More or less. Hard to find a balance between TS2 blockiness and TS4 gummy limbs. In progress!
