(Angst)

Who: rise!boys x gn! reader (romantic)

what: you, the reader, gets severely injured during a battle with the kraang. Featuring how the boys would react.

when: during the bad timeline, where the kraang is still ruling the apocalypse.

warnings: blood, injury, mentions of needles, cursing, death, slight hint of unaliving, reader almost dies 😔✋

Pierced

You cursed as you were thrown across the demolished rubble of what was once a sidewalk, promptly slamming into the wall of the building behind you. You immediately got back up, despite your legs protests, and stared in horror as the tentacles of the Kraang infection rose up menacingly. Luckily, you snapped out of it, only narrowly dodging a strike from the tall, messy figure as you dove the other way.

You called (turtle of choice) ‘s name, eyes frantically searching the battlefield before deep brown eyes met (e/c) ‘s. He was pressed up against a wall as he fought off multiple of the infected, a determined look shining on his face. But, even his skills couldn’t hold enough of them back, as he was slowly being closed in.

You felt your heart drop. Nonononono. You couldn’t lose him, not now, not ever.

Blinking yourself out of your eternal panic, you felt a wave of somewhat urgency as you frantically searched through your satchel, dodging and jumping from the tentacle’s strikes. You hesitated as you saw the faint blue glow from the bottom of the bag, but shook it off as you snatched it quickly and threw the bottle of ooze towards the infected surrounding (turtle of choice).

Soon, the effects kicked in, shrieks of pain coming from the hoard of zombies as they were slowly disintegrated, leaving nothing but a molten mess around (turtle of choice). He had a look of slight confusion on his face, but as the realization dawned on him as he made eye contact with you, a bright grin creeping onto his mouth as he slowly set his weapon down.

You breathed a sigh of relief, smiling as exhaustion took over your body. You looked around at the aftermath of the fight, gaze roaming over the broken buildings and, now dead, bodies that used to house the streets of New York. The apocalypse had took so much from you, and yet, with your group of friends, they made it seem like so little.

You paused as you felt slight rumbling from behind you. You looked up confusedly, only to be met with a look of terror from (turtle of choice)’s face as he got his weapon out once again.

“(Name)! Behind you!”

You froze as a loud squelch echoed across the street—

And then all you felt was pain.

It was if it happened in slow motion. You stayed still, so very still, as your eyes widened and looked down.

A Kraang tentacle was jutting out of your chest at an unnatural angle, it’s veins throbbing as the sound of your blood dripping onto the sidewalk slowly began to become faint. Drip, drip, drip.

You felt nauseous, the extreme pain in your chest becoming too much to bare. You didn’t even realize blood was pouring out of your mouth before you felt the warm, metallic liquid trickle down your neck and onto your chest, spreading out on the pink arm. Somehow, the colours went well together.

You heard your name being called, the voice unknown as your ears went silent, as if being distanced from everyone else.

Then you passed out.

Leo felt his heart drop along with your body as you collapsed to the sidewalk.

I mean, why wouldn’t it? He literally just watched his s/o get gravely injured and then pass out

He ran over to your body, calling out your name

He hovered over you, panic setting in as he called for Donnie

Once he knew you were getting help, he beat the absolute shit out of that Kraang cluster

Like, so bad you would think it was just a limp pile of ooze

Poor mans was so scared

Especially if it was during when he was the only brother left

He just can’t afford to lose you

Like all the others, gets ptsd from it

Becomes overprotective of you even after you recover (despite your protests)

If you did die, though, he’d never forgive himself for it

Worst thing was, he couldn’t even mourn for too long, since he needed to go back to his leader role soon

He lost the one and only thing keeping him sane in this goddamn apocalypse, with no way to get it back.

You were gone.

Shitshitshitshit

This was not how this was supposed to go

As he watched you pass out, blood pouring form your mouth, his eyes widened with fear as he rushed over, praying you were alright.

“Shelldon!” He practically screamed, putting as much pressure on your wound as possible to stop the bleeding as the robot assistant sped over.

Giving orders to Shelldon to get you to safety, he got up, watching as the drone did as asked.

And uh, yeah, he really demolished that Kraang cluster

Just absolutely obliterated it, adding in a few lasers for good measure

Afterwards, he went back to base, relieved to hear you were okay

Spent a lot of time with you in the infirmary, swapping out bandages daily, making sure you take medicine, etc, etc.

Though, if you did manage to die, he would probably just about go crazy

Lock himself in his lab, go into a spiralling depression as he mourned your death.

Donnie wasn’t the type to believe in heaven and hell, but.

He was on the verge of ending it just to see you.

Saying he was terrified would be an understatement.

Mikey gets really protective of people he’s close too, even if they’re villains (cough cough Draxum cough)

So, to see you limp on the sidewalk? Unmoving and possibly dead? He was absolutely horrified.

Unlike the others, he didn’t want to waste time in making the Kraang feel pain. He just wanted to make sure you were okay.

(But he did use his magic to quickly disintegrate the tentacles into dust, I’ll give you that)

Felt a HUGGGEEEE wave of relief when he heard you were gonna make it

Like Donnie, he spent a lot of time with you during your recovery, making sure you didn’t get bored and always had someone to talk to.

But, if you didn’t make it, he would be in so much denial it’s not even funny.

Would refuse to accept you were dead, no matter what the others would say, though deep down, he knew.

He missed you so, so much.

He was reallll angry, once the fear and shock wore off in the moment.

As he ran over to you, cradling you in his arms, a sickly feeling in his stomach.

He looked back at the rising tentacles behind you two, and he just snapped

Handing you to Donnie, he beat the Kraang cluster to a bloody. Pulp.

He was so mad you couldn’t even imagine

Once he knew you were okay, he let himself calm down

Switched to Mama Bear mode real fast

Made sure you were getting enough nutrients, that’s your bandages weren’t too tight, everything

If you passed away, though, he would be so hard on himself

Would become really depressed and gloomy (can you blame him?) and would become much, much more protective of his brothers.

He couldn’t lose another one.

Everything hurt.

You groaned, shifting on the soft mattress underneath your fragile frame. Opening your eyes, you fought the urge to snap them back shut, the bright light glazed over the room becoming too much for your vision.

Glancing around, you found you were in the infirmary, an IV needle stuck in your arm. The faint beep beep beep of the machine beside you becoming more and more clear (and annoyingly loud) as you regained your consciousness.

Looking to your left, you blinked as you saw him. He was seated on a stool, eyes closed with his head in his hands.

You whispered his name, now realizing how hoarse your voice felt. He snapped up to attention, eyes widening as as they laid gaze on your figure, confused and limp.

“What’s going on- fuck!” You hissed as a sharp pain in your torso shot through your body in a attempt to lift your arm. His eyes softened as he guided you into a sitting position, handing you a glass of water.

Water had never tasted so good in your life.

You opened your mouth to ask once again, but he only shushed you as he took your arm and began to unwrap the bandages.

You stared in horror once he was done. Your arm was bloody and bruised, but the part that really freaked you out was the pink, fleshy blob of the Kraang infection pulsing lightly on your forearm.

“What?” You whispered, brows furrowing as you looked up to meet his eyes.

“They got to you,” he said as he rummaged through a drawer, your arm still in his hands. “You were pierced through the chest by an arm.”

He motioned towards the bandages tightly wrapped around your body. “Too tight?” He asked. You shook your head.

“Don’t worry, this is practically harmless,” he reassured, poking the pink blob with a needle. “Im just gonna inject this to kill it, alright?”

You nodded, watching as he stabbed it, pushing the ooze filled needle down. He then took a paper towel, picking up the residue and chucking it into a nearby trash can.

A deafening silence spread between the two of you, the only sound in the air being the slight creak of the bed you were currently on. Inhaling suddenly, he plopped his head down on the mattress, arms cradling his forehead.

“I was so scared,” he sighed. “I thought you were dead.”

You smiled gently. “I’m right here,” you said softly, placing a hand on his shoulder.

“Good,” he hummed, exhaling.

“Good,” you repeated back, giving a gentle peck on his forehead.

Yeah he isn't good at actually showing he is jealous,since he kinda try to get himself into the conversation with the person he is jealous of unconsciously

He doesn't realize he is jealous till the conversation had ended and he have his arms around your shoulders and he is glued to your hips

You have to kindly try to unglue him off you by telling him to stop begin jealous,which he deny so much , because he could never feel jealous

At LEAST that's the friendly jealousy,he get when you're talking to people he knows and trust

When he actually get jealous jealous,pray on your soul because he will throw hands with anyone who is flirting with you

He once saw a fellow Revolutionary flirt with you ,he asked him to spar with him later, accidentally broke his wrist because the guy was still trying to show off for you

After that sparing and the fakest apology known to man kind ,he take you back to your sleeping quarter and he start getting bit too roughly

As he would mark every possible skin available,HE left a hickey on your cheek ,just to make a point😔,you had a whole week with everyone asking if you got punched on the face,0/10 experience

And that happened only because someone made him feel jealous,if you try to make him feel jealous on purpose,count your good days of walking straight because you will miss them after he is done with you

This man is feral and quite sadistic,don't give him a reason for him to 'punish you' , trying to make him jealous would only result of you losing few privileges in bed

Yeah... You definitely lifted up his mood.

Y/N he's basically a mix of Hinata, Bokuto, and Oikawa now 💀

I normally don't write stuff that aren't "x readers" but I wanna give it a shot, starting with this one!

I wanted to write some more but motivation said naw T_T

-They both tend to wake up quite early in the morning. If Saeran is awake first, he'll spend time watching cartoons on the TV while eating the breakfast he made. He likes watching the morning shows and eating quietly as he has the house to himself while everyone else is sleeping.

-If Saeyoung wakes up first, he'll probably try to make breakfast for everyone in the house. It might not be the best but hey! He's trying his best! He likes to work on stuff until someone else is awake.

-The two sometimes end up playing video games together. It can be awkward but sometimes they are having fun and it's a really nice sight to see. Saeyoung introduced Saeran to video games slowly and Saeran usually likes the more calm and laid back ones, especially the ones that he can make stuff like his house or anything like that, he likes decorating it exactly how he likes.

-Saeran has a garden that he likes to spend his time there. Saeyoung checks up often on him and a smile makes its way to his face when he sees his brother attending the flowers and taking care of stuff with a peaceful expression on his face, it makes him feel so happy that Saeran is enjoying himself while doing the stuff he likes. He loves how their life is now.

-Movie nights! Saeyoung probably has to convince Saeran to watch a movie with him. They usually watch family friendly stuff so they can lay back and relax without thinking about anything. Saeran usually likes movies that have really good animation, it makes him fascinated when he sees a good movie. Saeyoung has to fight the urge to hold his brother here and there because he is so glad to see him open up a little.

-Saeyoung loves to compliment his brother and just be there for him throughout the day, Saeran usually wants to be left alone in peace and he'll shoot a small glare at Saeyoung. This happens a lot but Saeyoung doesn't seem to give up. But there are sometimes where Saeran just sighs and stays still while his brother gives him a big hug.

-Saeyoung really loves going out with Saeran on walks and other amazing places that they both couldn't visit before. Even though they don't really speak much, they both stick together. Saeyoung likes to buy Saeran anything he wants and he makes sure that Saeran seems satisfied with anything they are doing.

-Saeran keeps being spoiled by Saeyoung just getting him anything he wants. He wants that plushie? Gotcha. He wants to try this new ice cream? Okie! And it never stops, honestly. Saeyoung always likes seeing his brother smile and he will do anything to make sure he is okay.

-Saeyoung will do anything to make sure Saeran is happy and healthy. He often checks up on Saeran and how he is feeling and If he doesn't, Saeyoung will do anything he can to help. He is very happy to be with his brother again and Saeran usually stays in his room or does something else in peace. Even though it happens sometimes, the sight of them getting along is always a great thing to witness.

Gets up to check bloodsugar. "Okay if it's under 100 I'll go get food, otherwise i should live until tomorrow."

95. Not low yet, but.. Really only takes a 70 to wreak havoc 😩 sigh.

Normally I would drink a cup of (no sugar added) chocolate milk. But we had no milk.

So i got the ice cream out. I only meant to nibble at it but it was frozen solid and the nephew had Jurassic Park on. 👀 I may have sat there taking a spoon to the carton with abandon. Oops.

Guess sissy should have fed me the ice cream in the first place. 😋😅
