Having access to a shower chair has literally made me so unbelievably happy. Like, I could barely stand 5 minute showers before this. Everything was done for expediency sake. If I did it longer, I'd regret it. And now I get to just sit there and relax and feel the water soothe my mind and muscles. I missed this. I had no idea how much I missed this.

Having a wheelchair and a shower chair would make my life easier, but I know that my family would have problems with me having that around here. I can barely use my cane here. I doubt I'd have much luck getting any other mobility and disability aids.

I fucking LOVE my shower chair, and i really think more people should have them! Including able bodied people. Do you get up early and dread standing in the shower? Get a shower chair! It’ll let you sit while you shower so you can wake up more gradually. Ever need a shower when you get home but you’re too tired to stand for it? Shower chair! Have trouble washing your feet because how the FUCK do you do that standing? Shower chair! I REALLY wish these were more available and there was less stigma around them, because they’re JUST SO GOOD!

I just used my shower chair for the first time and this is the first shower where I haven't had a POTS episode where my feet didn't turn purple, the walls didn't go technicolor, etc. In YEARS.

my partner got me a shower chair today and oh my god I wish I would've had one sooner. it's so great and helps me be able to actually shower :')

i have the privilege of usually standing when i shower but today i used my shower chair and damn! i feel a lot better after using it!

I found these pool lights that make it so I don't have to turn the big light on to get clean which has made it like 40 times easier than before.

I can also host pride showers cause they change colours ♡

Hey, how much did you all pay for your shower chairs?

Especially those of you not in Australia.

Because I've moved house and am now looking for a new shower chair bc my dad is using the one I brought previously from kmart… and they no longer sell them (plus they wouldn't fit great in my current shower).

But I'm looking at the costs and just genuinely curious how much everyone else is paying for everyday aids.

tried to talk to a friend about how standing in the shower was hard and my brain fog wound up brain fogging so hard that instead of "i sit for the majority of my shower", i said "i shit for the majority of my sandwich"

i just got reminded that shower chairs existed and i literally am going so daydream so hard about having one tonight those things are so good. i love them so much.

Thank you shower chair. :)) I’ve only used you once but you make it so I don’t have to be as afraid as I used to be of falling in the shower. You are amazing!
