but I never fail to fall into the most brainrotted hole that my consciousness can conjure every time I even pick up a single episode

something about them just hits so different

like, everyone likes friends, everyone has watched friends

bitch I just watched the whole first season in just this afternoon and I know it's gonna turn into my new Buffy the vampire slayer, or Black Books, or IT crowd, or goddamn Star Trek

the worst part is that I have fanfiction type brainrot and I point-blank refuse to go on FF.net. it's not gonna happen

the problem with any buffy reboot casting is that spike could truly only have been played by a baby-faced man in his 40s, and angel by an abercrombie model who then rapidly underwent a second puberty after the first season

one of the reasons I really wish Spike never got his soul back is that his lack of one would’ve preserved his original story arc - which was that you don’t have to have a soul to do decent things. Goodness is hard work, mistakes, and perseverance, for fuck’s sake, Angel’s just Catholic

so so grateful that there are no pregnancies on btvs. the writers did a truly terrible job every single time they did a pregnancy storyline on angel, but at least they spared us that on buffy. making btvs one of the very very few high schol shows that doesn't have a teen pregnancy storyline. god bless.

just thinking about how despite AtS trying to portray it as comedic bickering amongst bros, Spike actually has decades worth of reasons to hate Angel, while Angel has remarkably few reasons to hate Spike. And it should maybe be concerning that from School Hard on, Angel adopts an absolute "don't see what this has to do with me" reaction to him?
