Guess who has a signed Heartsteel poster in their room? 🧡🩵💚💜❤️💛

Yep, I was definitely in Seoul for World's and got my poster signed by the boys and definitely wasn't in my bed in Ohio watching the show at 3AM.

For real though, I thought it'd be fun to print myself out a signed Heartsteel poster since all of their signatures are online.

Here's the poster! Sorry there's some pixels around their names, I didn't feel like trying to remove ALL of that. I hid some of it using their respective color's (which was a cooler idea than just black marker anyway). And uh you can say the extra white pixels reflect their glitchy hacker aesthetic or something.

Also I wanted to try and show all their personalities a bit. Sett covers himself up like a goof ball (would have done his face but wanted it to look good still). Aphelios' is just kinda there, basic, like his print signature, it's quick. Ezreal wants his name on him but not covering up too much of himself. Kayn is close by but not covering any of his beauty, ego too big. Yone's is sleek and neat. K'Sante's actually looks like a professional's in both placement and look.

Ok time to print!

Uh so, I ran out of ink. So that sucks. I have to wait 2 days to get some new ink so long wait for a hyperfixated mind. Actually writing this draft to keep me sane. Anyway, I'm also getting some glossy paper for the final too!

Anyway here it is on my wall! Yes it's shittly hung up with tape. It reminds me of the way I'd hang shit on my wall when I was younger, and their splash art reminds me of early 2000's boy bands.

I'll miss the era of Heartsteel. It's definitely my favorite thing League has done in awhile (maybe ever)! But luckily they gave us Hwei as compensation! Really excited to play him!

Saw a really cute EzLux fanart on twitter yesterday ;posted by the official Riot account and boy,weren't the comments and quotes something.

Do people don't know they can just turn their heads and move on? Why you have to keep pushing your other ships onto the artists?

They make me want to draw them in my Heartsteel mini comics.

I hope the artist is ok and doesn't feel bad about that piece. It was wonderful.

And I hope for you,or any other artist,to not feel like you have at all costs to draw a ship people like just to not get harassed.

heartsteel fic ideas

here are some SFW Heartsteel fics I'm writing or thinking of writing!

(IN PROGRESS) K'Yone emotional one-shot (K'Sante/Yone, not quite angst) - K'Sante (gives great relationship advice) vs. Yone (shitty relationship with Yasuo). Also they have crushes on each other.

Kayn injury/recovery (Kayn/everyone, perhaps with a side of EzKayn or KaYone) - Kayn gets into a motorcycle accident and Heartsteel take care of him as he recovers.

alternatively (or additionally) to the above, Kayn hurt/comfort where Kayn comes home really drunk/really drugged and Heartsteel take care of him

Aphelios gender fuckery (no ship decided) - Aphelios comes out as non-binary. Not really sure what happens then. I just love Enby Aphelios. Could potentially pair with Trans Ezreal ideas.

Heartsteel general fluff (no ships decided) - Heartsteel have a cozy night in. Lots of blankets and hot chocolate involved. I want them to be soft and happy. Might coincide with a holiday fic (e.g. Heartsteel Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Eve).

Once I've written the first I'm sure more ideas will come to me :) Feel free to ask or suggest things!

Heartsteel Ship Headcanons - Ezkayn

✨ First Encounter

When a popstar meets a rockstar, theres always a chance it's not all too friendly.

Upon first meeting Ezreal, Kayn didn't quite like him at all. To Kayn, he was just another idol being extremly full of themselves because of the fame. There were too many like him in the industry, all usually carbon copy of one another.

In contrast, upon meeting Kayn, Ezreal was wary of the pink haired rockstar. His erratic and wild behaviour felt more like a walking red flag than anything Ez was used to in the music scene.

The two clashed in the sense of how a person in the industry should behave. Often having a shouting match that needed to be interviened, often times than not by Yone himself. Scolding the two and telling them to get along.

It was a struggle, a really extensive uphill to climb. But after hanging around one another, they started to see their differences weren't all that distinct.

They started to hang out a lot more as time continued, shouting matches soon became joyful laughter from inside jokes. Becoming the dynamic duo of gremlins, causing trouble and looking badass all at the same time.

Their friendship becomes as solid as they can be, matching eachothers energy in the moment to show off.

It's really no surprise that one starts to feel for the other. This being Ezreal and his honest emotions. But Kayn is the one that falls for the other the hardest, with hesitant but strong wild feelings.
