12/06/2023-RSPB South Stack 

Photos taken here today in this set are of: 1. Chough, it was astonishing so see a decent handful of these energetic and ravishing scarlet billed crows as they picked at the grassy cliffs and dashed over our heads announcing themselves with their sharp and vibrant onomatopoeic calls as they went. An exceptional way to see my first of the year of this species, taking my year list to 205 just one behind last year’s total my highest ever, one of a few amazing experiences we’ve had with Choughs over the past few years at this sensational place for them. 2. Puffins, another red beaked bird I love so much that it was incredible to see well today. Four trips involving seeing Puffins in 2022 and 2023 makes me feel incredibly lucky and I never tire of seeing these iconic birds. 3 and 4. Guillemots and Razorbills, two more amazing seabirds it was wonderful to see packed tightly onto the cliffs, on the water and flying today. I love these birds and it was another splendid and immersive seabird experience today. 5, 9 and 10. Views at this beautiful spot. 6. Sheep’s-bit, an enigmatic and pretty flower that has been a star this holiday so far. 7. Some of my first centuary of the year, a smashing flower that I always like seeing. 8. Mating Swollen-thighed beetles. 

Fulmar, Kittiwakes, Gannet, Raven, Magpie, Jackdaw on a strong corvid day, Stonechat, Rock Pipit, Pied Wagtail, House Martin, Common Blue butterfly, Red Admiral and Small Tortoiseshell were other highlights here. It was a strong insect trip here with a phenomenal Hummingbird hawk-moth seen fluttering through the air, my first Six-spot Burnet moth seen this year, an Oak Eggar moth caterpillar and exquisite views of a shiny Rose Chafer beetle our first ever. Stunning moments with Hairy shield bug seen too. Heather in flower as we’ve often seen here the great purple colour, honeysuckle, English stonecrop, chamomile, restharrow, purple sandwort and sea plantain again key finds so far this holiday, thrift and thyme including mixed well at one point and sea campion were key flowers seen here.

Hunter head canon #3

Hunter his whole life has done something guard related. From training to be a scout which are essentially foot guards to the highest ranking guard, the golden guard. He wasn’t just trained to guard he was raised guarding. It’s something he does thats probably second nature for him.

With that being said I truly believe he will continue being a guard to everyone he cares about even if it’s no longer his job and even if he barley knows that person. (gus and luz for example in labyrinth runners and hunting palismen ) It’s ingrained in him the same way sheep dogs will heard humans because it’s what they know.

So I imagine hunter instinctively standing up in front of the hexsquad unconsciously guarding. Even if they are simply hanging out. They ask him about it and he admits he does it without even noticing.

Of course a lot of these behaviors stem from PTSD like him being hyper vigilante and being prepared to defend from any possible attack but even in moments he knows he safe he’s always watching making sure they don’t get hurt by something little like falling and making sure their all secure. He’s not even violent just defensive.

He keeps them organized even if can’t keep himself organized, he becomes aware of their mannerism in a objective way, he guides them. They basically become his herd in way.

Even if Luz could be seen being the ‘leader’, Hunter is always next to her ever so slightly in front, like a guard.

Luz is also protective but that’s a habit she developed while again for Hunter it’s ingrained.

It’s quite cute actually if you ignore his past, him being a protective friend willing to defend the people he cares about no matter what.

In short Hunter got that Doberman/collie instinct in him lol

On St. David's Day, looking back on some special memories from our fantastic week in North Wales last year; sheep's-bit at Cemlyn, Common Sandpiper at Llyn Ogwen, Arctic Terns at Cemlyn, Black Guillemot at Holyhead Harbour Fish Quay, RSPB Valley Wetlands, Red Squirrel at Newborough Forest, view at Nant-y-Pandy, the Range, South Stack, bee orchid at RSPB Conwy and Silver-studded Blue at the Range.

obey me! the boys are enjoying the summer festival!! It's another one of my favourite costume design that I really wanted to draw!!

(the sticker was the side project, but wanting to draw the yukata design has always been something i super wanted to do FDSFDS) makes me wonder if Nightbringer would ever bring the old designs back... or at least update the OG game- many food for thought!

Tell the boy I say 'hi!'". Panel four- she hands documents labeled "classified" to Darius. Later, Hunter (post timeskip) walks through a door in Darius' home, saying "hey Darius, hey Eber, I'm ba-". Next panel- Darius, Willow, and Eberwolf on the couch. Hunter says "...willow?", She replies "hey hunter!", he asks "what are you guys doing?

Darius says "oh nothing...except looking at pictures of you as a baby!" Holding up the documents from earlier. We see two pictures of a younger hunter framed like panels- the first is of hunter as a baby/toddler aged hunter freshly sprouted out of the ground with a blanket around him, covered in dirt, while the second one shows a young scout Hunter covered in bandages receiving his sprig plushie. Darius' narration reads "courtesy of Hettie Cutburn- she found the only surviving copy of your early life medical records and gave them to me". Willow says "aww, you were so cute!". The final panel shows Hunter looking embarrassed/stunned as Willow takes a photo of the documents, and Darius says "I'm considering it an early father's day present- so, thank you, Hunter". End ID]

do you think Dazai would just call Chuuya "angel" in his mind or whatever, and then call tiny!chuu "cherub"(not based off the the biblical ones, but the baby ones with chubby cheeks and stuff from those church murals) so he doesn't get confused or smt? please i need to know someone elses opinion before i self combust

While I do enjoy the thought of Dazai making up small equivalent of Chuuya pet/nicknames for Tiny Chuuya very much, I don't like it when Chuuya is called anything relating to godhood :[ My boy spent so much time angsting about his origins and was convinced for so long he was nothing but a container for a fake "god" that couldn't truly be called human. I don't want to even remotely allude to that when trying to be cute. "Angel" specifically is also a loaded word in the context of bsd (many characters were placed on an unwanted pedestal through being nicknamed or compared to an angel) so I personally wouldn't throw that one around carelessly with any pairing.

Tiny Chuuya nickname suggestions: (the) slugling, (the) dust bunny, Chuu-chan (condescending)

Im so sorry but I just cannot understand people that read the entirety of scum villain and then say they don't like binghe. He's awful, toxic, overbearing, ect. Like?? Yes, but also no??? Did you not read the book? Or even looked past the unreliable narration?

Like, I get it, you're reading it in the moment and sqq is a super fun and imaginative narrator, he easily traps you in the same mindset that he has. Trapping you in the world of genres, tropes, character archetypes, what makes a story a story. So it's easy to get clouded like sqq and just scratch your head and try to figure out what type of character archtype luo binghe will turn out to be. If he's not the stallion protagonist harem master anymore, than what is he? So you read book 2 and the start of book 3 and you think, "oh! If he's not gonna be the toxic male power fantasy anymore, than he's gonna be the toxic male love interest fantasy you see in BL!"

You know the ones. They're incredibly sexy, incredibly tall, needs an incredibly in depth course on the meaning of consent and boundaries, and the narrative never punishes them for doing weird and out of line shit, but actively romanticize it. Which fits binghe in some respects, but not all of them, same as the stallion protag box. So I can understand you and sqq's apprehension throughout the story. Waiting for the hat to drop already. Is binghe a cute wholesome wife or a possessive bloodthirsty demon lord?

But then you and shen qingqiu are supposed to learn the lesson near the end that binghe is a person!! With thoughts and feelings and grievances he wants addressed!!! That ultimately he is in the exact middle of the harem master protag to toxic yaoi male lead scale, but also not on the scale at all!!!

Because, ultimately, he is just a guy that desperately wants to be loved! To be wanted! That's it! And shen qingqiu realizes this and takes this complicated emotional wreck of a man and promises him that love and companionship. Shedding the notions of following some sort of thought out narrative and live out their happy ending. Because scum villain's story does end up happy. Messy, but happy. Shen Qingqiu is not suffering. He does not regret choosing Luo Binghe. They are both happy and in love and they both deserve each other. So like, what more do you want?
