Wip meme: let's try with "Unusual"

Believe it or not, our of the four “more than just notes” docs I’ve got going, NONE of them have “unusual” in the text! Color me shocked lol. I guess I just don’t use the word very often?

As a consolation, please accept a little bit of Selphie being chaotic:

“What the– Sef? Explain?” Zell splutters,turning from his phone to her with a very confused expression. Selphie just smiles at him, smug as a cat who caught a whole flock of canaries.

“I told him we were calling that sailboat the Sea Lion, no matter what he said. But Squall’s just gotta be stubborn, and he’s gonna need a lot of reminders of that. So,” she says brightly, nodding toward the phone, “reminders.” Reminders in the form of a horde of little sea lion figurines all over the boat– tucked into the rope coils, on top of the mini-fridge, buried in the jar of instant coffee.

Zell sighs, obviously trying not to laugh as he pinches the bridge of his nose; she thinks it’s kinda fun how he tries to pretend he’s above the silly stuff when there are other people around. “You’re a menace. How many dumb little seal minis–”

“Sea lions,” she corrects insistently, “complete with little beach balls and clown hats and stuff, and I think we went in with, like, thirty? But that’s not counting all the stickers.” So many stickers, in so many silly poses. Sea lions are delightful critters, really.

“... Stickers.”

“Yep! Inside the cabinets, in the logbook, under the toilet seat…” She sits back with a happy sigh, remembering merry chaos as the chat lights up again with laugh emotes and another string of indignant capslock. “Oh, calm down, you big buzzkill, they come off with a razor,” she mutters, sticking her tongue out at the screen.
