i. 2007
satoru brings one more flower than he did the day before. morning glories again, of course, but an extra one. he had added one more to the the bunch every day since the day you died. the first day, he brought three, wrapped with a cheap blue ribbon that he found in his desk drawer. it was hardly a respectable bouquet, but those three flowers were the ones he'd grown for you, so it only seemed fitting.
he didn't care much for gardening. but one day you asked shoko what her favorite flowers were so you could give her some on valentine's day. she asked you what yours were so she could return the favor.
satoru never forgot morning glories after that day.
he's not even sure if morning glories are appropriate to bring to a grave, but he knows you'd like them.
you would tell him it didn't matter anyway.
ii. 2007
(suguru did not cry when you died. satoru watched, intently, because there was nothing in the universe that his six eyes couldn't catch. he waited for it, even a sliver of emotion that would betray suguru's bleeding heart, but he gave nothing. he just stood in front of the stone that marked the end of your life with a deep stare. something had settled there in his eyes, cold and resolute.
a few months before you died, you had told satoru that there was something wrong with suguru. you said that he'd been distant, somewhere far away, and you worried for him. you always did, so open with your affection for him.
"don't want him to get lost." you had hummed, your shoulder brushing against satoru's as you raise the mango ice pop he brought you to your mouth. satoru watches your lips out of the corner of his eyes, his stomach flipping eagerly even as he keeps his face impassive.
"he said it was just the summer heat," he answers, ignoring the sweet mango juice dripping down his knuckles. "should be nothing."
you don't look all that convinced, turning your head to look up at him with meaningful glance. "you sure?"
he stares at you for a lengthy second, cerulean eyes darting over your facial features, before he reaches up and knocks his knuckle against your forehead. "yeah. he'll be fine." he assures, and your shoulders relax as you continue to eat the ice pop.
you were right about it all. four days after you die, suguru massacres an entire village.)
iii. 2008
satoru shifts in his bed, grunting quietly he begins to stretch his stiff joints. his eyes crack open, still heavy with sleep as he waits for his dark ceiling to come into focus. except it doesn't, because all he can see are a pair of very familiar looking eyes. unsaturated, but still so obviously the color he once knew. his own eyes snap open, all traces of sleep gone as he finally makes out someone who looks exactly like you, perched on his stomach with a confused and slightly panicked expression.
he shoots up, and you pull back a little. it looks like you're on his lap, and yet he can't feel you on him at all. he gulps.
"hey toru." you say quietly, and his stomach drops. the same eyes, the same voice. gods above.
"you're dead," he says simply, trying not to betray the way his pulse is jumping at even the smallest glimpse of you again. "you're not real."
"i'm dead," you confirm, nodding your head as you look down at your translucent palms. "but i'm here somehow."
he sucks in a breath, reaching out a hand as if to touch you. the disappointment he feels when it passes through your form is sickening.
you smile shakily, shrugging your shoulders as you attempt to make light of the situation.
"guess i couldn't stay away."
he stares at you for minutes without saying a word and you stare back, equally silent.
iv. 2007
(nanami had carried your body back, his teeth gritted as his blonde hair fell over his eyes. satoru never brought it up, but he knew that nanami remained bothered by it for the rest of his life. your death was bad timing, especially after they had just lost haibara a few weeks prior.
nanami had no reason to blame himself though. if anything, it was satoru's fault you were gone.
shoko had called him from the infirmary, her voice hard and pinched as she spat out three words: "get down here."
when satoru saw your body, he didn't say a word. just took a few long strides until he was at the table where nanami had placed you down. your eyes were shut, face resting in a way that seemed so unnatural. he opened his mouth to ask shoko something, but felt like he was choking on air, so he stopped himself.
then he grabbed your limp fingers, squeezed them gently. they were still a little warm, but not as warm as you usually run. shoko didn't say anything, just stood there with her hands clenched, short brown hair falling over her dark eyes.
satoru remained there for the next thirty minutes, waiting for you to sit up and laugh at the prank you were no doubt pulling. as if your blood wasn't still dripping all over the table.
shoko was the one who finally pulled a sheet over your body with shaking hands. she didn't look satoru in the eye, and didn't spare a glance when suguru burst into the room ten minutes later.)
v. 2008
it takes satoru a while to get used to the fact that you're not physically there. he has to bite his tongue when he moves to bump your shoulder or flick your forehead only to find that his skin goes right through yours. you always give him that same little rueful smile, and he sighs to himself.
he doesn't make an effort to figure out why you're there. he figures it's similar to how jujutsu users can come back as curses due to strong feelings. when he thinks about it though, guilt lodges itself into his throat, because the first thought he had when he heard you were entering death's door was no, don't you dare die.
every day he wonders if he's the one who cursed you to stay.
you act like it doesn't matter, hovering around him as he busies himself in his empty room. at first you're quiet, as though you've forgotten how to speak to him in your incorporeal form. but then you start asking him questions, and it's one question that satoru dreads to answer that you finally bring up.
"where's suguru?"
he's not stupid. he knows there's more you think of suguru than you've ever revealed. of course you'd want to know. but that doesn't mean he wants to be the one to tell you. you had died with nothing but a good impression of geto suguru. you'd probably died with your feelings for him still intact too.
it'd be selfish of satoru to ruin that.
"nothing, don't worry about it," he dismisses, voice clipped as he busies himself with preparing dinner. he knows that won't deter you.
you huff, moving to hover in his line of sight. you cross your arms as you glare at him seriously, and satoru hates how nostalgic your expression makes him feel. he tongues his cheek before sighing.
"he's gone." satoru answers simply. he tries to keep his tone even but it comes out bitter and strained. he can hear your quiet gasp, and feels your form move closer to him. if you were alive, he'd be able to feel your breath on his skin now.
"what do you mean, gone?"
satoru sighs again, turning to look at you completely. he hated everything about this. "he left school. went crazy. killed a bunch of people, including his parents."
he would've laughed at the comical way your jaw dropped if you didn't look so hurt. you sputter over your words as he picks up his bowl and moves to the table, trailing after him and demanding more information.
he doesn't hesitate to share, because he's always hated keeping secrets from you. you had this uncanny ability to see straight through him, and it never failed to make him feel unsettled. so he tells you everything that happened in the few weeks after you died. suguru leaving, their confrontation in shinjuku, his plans for non-sorcerers. he leaves nothing unsaid.
when he's done, he finally looks at you, trying to gauge your reaction. but you're just staring at his food with a bitter expression, brows pinched and lips pursed. satoru says your name once.
you glance at him, and it's too quick for him to look for any accusation in it. doesn't matter though, because he's ready to own up to his mistakes.
"you were right back then. about suguru." satoru admits quietly, turning to his food. he doesn't want to look at you anymore, because he's scared you'll show him how disappointed you are with him.
you don't say anything in response. but you sit down at the small dining table and watch him eat with soft eyes, one bite at a time. satoru doesn't admit it, but the whole time he imagines that you're gently rubbing his shoulder, and he thinks he hasn't missed you more than in that moment.
vi. 2007
(it was satoru's fault you died. if he hadn't been so selfish, you'd still be next to him, shoulder brushing his as the two of you walked through the streets of tokyo.
you had knocked on his door that morning before you had left for your last mission, rocking on your heels. he opened it groggily, still half asleep.
"you going on a mission?" satoru had yawned, drowsy eyes trailing over your uniform. you nod with a grin.
"mhm, with nanami. there are two separate areas with curses though, so we'll split up when we get there. should be simple enough." you shrug, toying with the collar of your uniform jacket.
satoru decides to be annoying. "then why are you here disturbing my sleep? get out." he groans dramatically, peering at you with narrowed eyes. you smack his arm, scoffing. you've stopped questioning why he keeps his infinity down for you do those things to him.
"i was gonna ask if you wanted to come with," you hiss, crossing your arms defensively. "but i'm taking it back, asshole."
he grins. "what? can't stay away?"
you roll your eyes, shaking your head with a sarcastic laugh. "don't flatter yourself."
satoru pauses for a second. "i was gonna go back to sleep." he admits, feeling a little guilty. he had just come back from a mission the night before, and he doesn't feel like leaving again. he doesn't know how to say that to you though.
but you see right through him, like you always do.
"you've been going on missions a lot lately," you smile earnestly, patting his shoulder. "no wonder you're tired."
"'m the strongest, i don't get tired." he protests, crossing his arms with a scoff. you roll your eyes again, sticking your tongue out at him as you heft your weapon over your shoulder.
"keep it up and you're seriously gonna fry your brain or something," you say with a shake of your head, eyes betraying your concern for him. he notices it, and tries to smother down the way it makes his stomach flip. "i'll be fine. you can come on my next mission with me."
fair enough, he thinks. he hadn't gone on missions with you or suguru in a while. he should remember to ask yaga to let him go on your next one. just the two of you. you and him. maybe he'd buy you a mango ice pop on the way back.
"fine." he acquiesces easily, not even thinking to protest. he'll see you later anyway, so he'll talk to you more when you get back.
you smirk a little, motioning to his bedhead, before gently kicking his shin. "go back to sleep then, stupid."
he rolls his eyes, reaching up to knock his knuckle against your forehead like he always does. "whatever. bring me some sweets on your way back, yeah?"
the laugh you give him as he shuts the door is the last thing he ever hears from you.
he should've gone with you.)
vii. 2012
satoru hates the way you're looking at him right now.
it was a stupid little mistake. he had gone to see little megumi and tsumiki earlier that afternoon, and as usual, you had tagged along with him. you'd watched him raise up the two kids over the last few years, never failing to tease about his newly acquired fatherhood, or how much he seemed to care about them despite his efforts to hide it. he didn't ever think to say that you'd helped him raise them up too. even in your incorporeal form you'd always been around to tell him what meals he could prep or to remind him that megumi liked black forest cake for his birthdays.
he'd gotten so used to you being around and he slipped up once. that afternoon when he had walked megumi home from school, teasing and poking fun at the kid, he'd made a stupid joke. megumi had rolled his eyes and told him to shut up.
and then without thinking, satoru had turned to you as you hovered next to him and groaned your name out dramatically before whining, "this kid is so mean to me!"
your eyes widened immediately, and if you were alive he'd probably see the color drain from your face. his stomach had sank and he couldn't tear his eyes away from you, even when megumi glanced at him with a raised brow.
"who are you talking to?" he asked, and satoru gulped, shaking his head as he broke eye contact with you to look down at the kid.
"nobody." he had answered.
he tries to ignore the meaningful stare you pin him with for the rest of the afternoon, hoping that you'll just forget about it. but as soon as satoru has left the kids and he's back in his own room, you're on him. he busies himself with making a cup of hot chocolate, even though he feels sick to his stomach.
"satoru you have to figure out how to get rid of me!" you plead, eyes so sad it makes his stomach churn. "i'm gonna drive you insane!"
"i'm fine!" he snaps back, shaking his head as he takes a sip from his mug, the warmth distracting him from whatever it was you were trying to remind him of. he places it down on the table in front of him and crosses his arms defensively. "it was a stupid mistake. won't happen again."
you shimmer in and out of focus, manifesting in front of him with a glare, though your eyes are still the same. wounded and hurt. "it wasn't and you know it! you can't keep living like this. i've been haunting you for years, toru!"
"well who asked you to go ahead and die?!" he yells without thinking, and it's like he sees your hurt bubble forth in slow motion.
"i went and died because i made a stupid mistake on a mission! quit blaming yourself, you dumbass!" you shout, voice raised higher than he's ever heard it.
satoru's mug shatters against the wall.
the two of you immediately turn to look at the mess with wide eyes, before slowly turning to each other to ensure that it really did happen.
"how'd you do that?" satoru asks quietly, his voice strained as he takes a few long strides towards you. you look down at your hand, the same one that you had lifted to swipe at his mug during your fit of rage. you look back up at him with wide eyes and parted lips. satoru's head is pounding, some kind of sick hope stirring within him. "you had to have touched it."
"i don't…" you trail off, voice filled with awe and a bit of fear. satoru reaches up a hand, ignoring the tremble in it, and moves to touch your face. he will never admit to the amount of times he begs in his head, please please please.
his hand goes straight though your skin, and your eyes soften. satoru lets out a breath he didn't know he was holding, hiding his disappointment as he takes a step back and turns away.
viii. 2006
(satoru thinks gardening is ridiculous. plants are so fragile, needing to be constantly monitored and cared for like children. he can't understand why anyone would choose to garden as a hobby when there were less stressful things to do in spare time.
even the process was time consuming, he realizes as he scoops out piles of dirt into the small pots he had set out on his windowsill.
he thinks back to the silly little grin you had on your face as you answered shoko's question.
"morning glory," you had said, leaning against her shoulder. "i like the way they open in the morning and close at night."
shoko hummed, staring at the sky even as satoru quietly eavesdropped. "you got a favorite color?"
"the blue ones," you answered. "they're the prettiest."
your voice echoes in his head as he places the seeds into the soil, and he sighs heavily. why he was doing this for you was beyond him.
the thought makes him annoyed, and he huffs in frustration the entire time he plants them. gardening had to be the stupidest hobby ever.
and yet when three blue morning glories bloom against his windowsill, he can't hold back his grin.)
ix. 2017
satoru's grateful that you don't watch him kill suguru.
he tells you to go, and you give suguru a long stare, face pinched and sour even though your translucent eyes are shining. it's a shame suguru can't see you though, because satoru thinks you look so pretty. suguru would've been lucky to have you be the last thing he ever saw.
you turn away and disappear without a word, and after one last exchange, satoru finishes the job.
it's only after he watches rika's final goodbye to yuta does he realize the extent of what a goodbye even means. he'd said one to suguru, and yet he can't help but miss him as he walks back home. he wonders if suguru wouldn't have had to die if you were still around.
satoru had never gotten a goodbye with you though. you're somehow still with him, but he misses you so much. it puts an ugly feeling in his gut, twisted and dark. it weighs down on his shoulders as he finally opens the door to his room, heavy and overwhelming as he sees you sitting on his bed, face vacant.
he says your name, and you don't move. he takes a seat next to you, and something about your sad expression makes him so unbelievably angry.
"quit being sad about it," he finally spits out, the truthful extent of his feelings coming out. "it's not like you're even alive that you'd be able to see him."
you scoff as you give him a sidelong glare. "what's that supposed to mean? one of my closest friends just died and you expect me not to be upset about it?"
"at least he'll find a way to you!" satoru hisses, clenching his fists so hard that his nails leave crescents in his skin. "you two can have fun together for all of eternity."
there's a tense silence that follows as he grits his teeth, turning away from you. he's so disgusted right now. with suguru, with you, with himself.
"i'm all by myself." satoru mutters bitterly, the words so foreign on his tongue as the truth hits him.
god he misses you so much.
he suddenly feels a sharp thwack on the back of his head and he's turning around with wide eyes.
"don't you dare forget about shoko!" you hiss, tears in your eyes as you glare at him, hand raised. "i'll never forgive you!"
his throat goes dry, because the smack you just gave him was the first time you'd touched him since the day you died. there's a storm in his throat that threatens to break free, but he tries to keep it lodged in his throat. even with your teary eyes, he thinks you look just as pretty as you did with life flowing through you.
he misses suguru. he knows you do too, because there are translucent tears dripping down your cheeks and he has never ached to touch you more. but he can't because you're dead.
you remain in front of him all night, barely saying a word in between your sniffles. he doesn't say anything either, just watching you.
he doesn't know what there is to say. the only thing he ever wishes he got to say to you was goodbye. but you're here, in front of him, so a goodbye seems pointless.
when the sun comes up, you wish him a merry christmas, and he swears you never left him.
satoru says it back to you. you smile sadly.
he misses you so much.
x. 2007
(satoru had cleaned out your dorm room three days after you died.
he didn't really understand why he was doing it so early. shoko had frowned when he told her that he planned to pack away your things, frowned in a way that made her look like she disagreed.
well even if she did disagree, it didn't stop her from sitting in your desk chair, chewing on her nail quietly as she watched satoru fold your clothes. he didn't even understand why he was doing this.
maybe it was because every time he walked past your empty dorm room he felt sick to his stomach. there was a twisting feeling in his gut when he realized that you'd never curl up in that bed again. never sit by the window with a grin watching him and suguru bicker as they threw playing cards on the floor. he figured the faster he got rid of your remnants, the quicker the feeling would go away.
that's what he's hoping anyway. but when he picks up your jujutsu uniform he feels something claw at his throat, and he unconsciously digs his fingers into the fabric. he hears a sigh from behind him and then shoko is at his side, wordlessly easing the cloth from his hand. she lays it on the bed, smoothing out the wrinkles before folding it carefully. when she places it into the box, satoru thinks her hands shake a bit.
there's a bitter expression on shoko's face that he's never seen before, and it makes his stomach twist.
they work on your room for the next few hours, until the sun has disappeared behind the horizon and the cool evening breeze bullies its way into your old space. neither of them say anything, save for the occasional nostalgic hum as they remember something that you did or they're reminded of the story behind one of the trinkets in your room. otherwise it's silent, and for a second satoru feels like he can hear your laugh.
it isn't until night has completely fallen that they are interrupted.
"what are you doing?"
satoru turns around just as shoko looks up, both of them finding suguru standing in the doorway. he hadn't taken a step in yet, eyes still trailing over the emptiness of your old room from behind an uncrossed line.
"cleaning." satoru answers, his voice oddly clipped.
"it wasn't messy…" suguru mutters back, his lips slanting in such an unusual way. there was an uncharacteristically determined look in his eyes, as though there was something in him that was struggling to burst forth. satoru didn't understand what it was.
"never said it was." satoru replies noncommittally. he hears shoko inhale deeply, shifting in your old chair as she watches the two of them stare at each other. there's a tense silence as he notices suguru frown.
satoru can't remember the last time he even had a full conversation with suguru. he remembers seeing you leave for your last mission, and he wants to kick himself for not asking earlier to be sent on group missions with the two of you.
even now, he doesn't really know what to say to suguru. all he can do is tighten his fingers around the edge of the box with your stuff neatly packed in, and watch his best friend sigh.
suguru wets his lips, eyes darting over your desk. there's an odd expression on his face, and his brows pinch as he notices something. then suguru reaches out to pick up an old polaroid, and satoru knows exactly which one it is. your arms slung around suguru's shoulders, smile so wide your cheeks probably hurt. suguru's expression was uncharacteristically gentle.
satoru remembers it so well, because he's the one who took the picture.
suguru looks at the polaroid without a word, rubbing the corner between his thumb and forefinger, and his expression suddenly mirrors the gentleness in the picture. his eyes remain stormy, deep and unsettling as he reaches conclusions that satoru will never understand.
the three of them stay quiet for a few minutes, even though satoru has so many questions that he can't figure out how to phrase. shoko toys with a cigarette between her lips, leaving it unlit because you've always hated the smell of smoke. suguru just stands there, silently eyeing your unfiltered smile through the lens of a camera.
satoru wonders if suguru's trying to say goodbye to you. he doesn't ask, and suguru doesn't say.
only after something had clicked in suguru's eyes, did satoru realize something was over. he couldn't help but feel like he had just buried you in that cardboard box with all your things, and he swallows hard.
then suguru clenches his fists, veins flexing as he looks around your room, almost like he was committing it to memory. satoru didn't understand why; it's not like suguru couldn't come see your room anytime he wanted.
then he turns away, hand lingering on the doorframe heavily, without another word.
just as suguru walks away, satoru thinks he hears your voice whispering in his ear.
"don't want him to get lost."
xi. 2018
something is wrong. something happened. something is wrong.
satoru knows he needs to wake up. but he's so tired, so exhausted from carrying on all by himself. he suddenly remembers the taste of frozen mango, sweet and chilled, and he wants to keep thinking about it for the rest of eternity.
but something is wong. he needs to wake up.
the minute satoru forces his eyes open, he can ignore the taste of blood in his mouth because you're there.
you're kneeling at his side, sunlight shining behind your head in a way that makes you look almost angelic. he'd believe it if you said you were an angel, because you've been dead for so long now.
you'd been a ghost for so many years, hovering around him and getting him through everything that had come his way. isn't that what guardian angels were supposed to do, guiding humans through their own trials? isn't that what you were doing to him since the day you died and came back to him?
you'd been a ghost. you'd been his angel. you'd been haunting him.
you'll always haunt him.
you seem to know it too, because the expression on your face is understanding, soft and yet so sad.
for what seems like the millionth time in his life, satoru aches to touch you.
he tries to move his hand but finds that he can't. synapses misfire. he can't feel his body anymore.
he wants to touch you. gods above, he wants to touch you so badly. please just this one last wish.
your translucent forms shimmers in the sunlight, and satoru can't tell if he's hallucinating or not because you suddenly seem to become fully physical. the particles of your form solidify, slowly filling with more color until you don't look quite so dilute. the saturation of your eye color comes back, and satoru can't look away because he's never seen a ghost so pretty before.
his breath hitches as you gently cup his cheek in your palm, warm and gentle. the melancholic look on your face makes his eyes sting.
"it's good to see you." he says with a weak smile, ignoring the metallic taste on his tongue. his breath is short, mind racing because your skin is on his again. finally, after so many years. you're so soft, just like he remembers.
"you weren't supposed to join me this quick." you sigh, eyes shining as you smile down at him ruefully. your thumb brushes over his bottom lip, and satoru's cerulean eyes flutter.
no. no more waiting. he'd missed you too much. he doesn't have it in him to stay away from you anymore. he'd done it long enough. your fingers tremble against his skin and he almost laughs.
no more haunting.
there's a resolute part of him that knows you'll be the first thing he sees when he gets to wake up again. he decides that, when he does, he'll get you a mango ice pop and plant some morning glories with you.
his eyes fall shut with a sigh.
"guess i couldn't stay away."

‘John price with a single mother this’ ‘Simon Riley with a single mother that’
Yeah yeah keep yapping. Now ME? I think we’re seriously undervaluing the sheer perfection that is Johnny fucking MacTavish with a single mother. He’s insufferable. If there’s an opportunity to worm his way into your life permanently, he’s taking it. My brains fixated on newly moved in neighbour reader and Johnny just comes back from being deployed and there’s this pretty woman next door and woah! bonus points! She has a baby!
He’s bouncing off the walls. He’s sick. Almost first thing he does after seeing you come in and out the flats alone a few times is ask if your lad is around. Has to try so hard to pretend to be sympathetic when you say he did a runner when he found you you were pregnant.
He’s actually spectacular with babies. Makes a point of it whenever he sees you with the kid too; always makes her chuckle, goes out of his way to prove that he’s great with kids. Works his way into it, builds a rapport so when you’re called into work for an emergency you just can’t miss the first person you go to for babysitting is Johnny. When you get back, he’s ‘asleep’ on the couch with the baby on his chest and you just don’t have it in you to wake him so you just sit on the other end of the couch and wait. When he does ‘wake up’ it’s a bit late to be kicking him out so you just offer to let him stay night (this becomes a reoccurring theme).
Starts referring to the you and baby as ‘the bairn’ and ‘his lass’ long before he even asks you out. Asked out for drinks? No, sorry. He’s got to go home to his lass and the bairn. Is he busy this weekend? Yeah he’s taking his lass and the bairn to the amusements. Frequently confuses work colleagues and friends alike because when did Johnny have time to A. Get a girl and B. Shag her enough to knock her up???? Will NOT correct anyone who calls him your husband or the baby’s dad, and will actually get upset if you do.
The moment you agree to go out with him he’s micromoving you into his flat (he’s already looking for houses). Has pictures of you and the baby up on his wall in less than an hour of you being his girlfriend. The ‘spare’ crib is already assembled. He’s already picked a ring. He’s insane. He’s in love. He’s known you for like three months. He’s already got the next like two pregnancies planned out (he wants a big family. No he hasn’t asked you yet). Actually kind of deludes himself into forgetting the baby isn’t his biological child. Wdym it’s not his kid it looks exactly like him??? I think he would actually get a little violent if the baby’s father randomly popped up demanding visitation out of the blue. Said baby’s father is not heard from again.
Anyways I’m insane and in love with Johnny MacTavish and his silly deranged ways send tweet
i want you to know that i woke up to get some water in the middle of the night and happened to check my phone and see this and i had to physically hold myself back from answering it at like. 3am.
first of all, i love you. second of all? i love this. i have been repeating "his lass and the bairn" in my head for like five hours now. johnny deluding himself into thinking the baby is actually his? that little gasp you heard was the last little bit of air in my lungs escaping before i expired and died.
there's no way he wouldn't end up saying something batshit crazy like "look at his wee little nose - just like his daddy's huh?" and you'd just be frozen staring at the two of them. maybe your baby's nose does look a little like johnny's but - that doesn't mean - is he just joking or -?

“babeee that doesn’t count,” she whines
• you know damn well ellie got some dinosaur boxers she’s such a loser i love her i can just imagine you coming home and her running out the bedroom
“babe babe look what i got!!” she says out of breath, all excited with wide eyes
you haven’t even put your bags down yet, “w-what? what el what is it?”
“i’ve been waiting to show you all day” ellie says smiling and she just unties her sweatpants strings and drops her pants and you just see her bright ass neon green boxers with dinosaurs on it
“el-ellie oh my gosh” you say holding back your laugh, “there so cute, there so…you”
ellie furrows her eyebrows and pulls her pants up again “what is that supposed to mean?”
“nothing baby cm’here” you say pulling her in for a kiss. she kisses you so softly then pulls away “did you like them though?”
“yes baby i love them”
• now imagine you and ellie having a daughter and you come home to ellie dressing her in dinosaur onesies or dressing her in flannels that match her own
“ellie stop dressing our daughter like a masc lesbian”
“w-what no i’m not?? she’s just matching me”
“exactly”
• you and ellie play fighting on her bed and she ends up almost falling off the bed but she grabs onto you for dear life
• ellie taking her hoodie off but she somehow gets stuck with it half off and she’s like “babe come help” and your just like ellie wtf???
• i just know ellie devours her food the second she gets it and then complains later her stomach hurts
• ellie forcing you to watch any and ever dinosaur movie ever in existence and when you say you want to watch something else she pouts and says you don’t love her anymore
• you and ellie cuddling; about to fall asleep and she whips her head up to look at you and is like, “what if this bed just exploded right now” n your like “ellie. go to sleep”
• i just know ellie laughs at everything and laughs randomly and when you ask what she’s laughing at you she’d be like “what if i just got up and did a backflip over you”
• ellie about to dine in on some chips or something and you snatch it out her hands and run away and she sprints after you n she’s so fast so she quickly catches up to you and then legit picks you up and carries you over her shoulder
• ellie having trouble putting her hair up and loudly letting out groans of frustration you can hear her from across the house so you walk in the bathroom and your like “do you need help?” but she refuses to admit that so she slightly nods and leans into you n you kiss her head and do it for her awww
• ellie tripping over her own feet while walking in front of you and she stops and turns around and stares at you while your laughing n she’s grumpy the whole rest of the day
• you admiring her cause she’s oh so pretty and she’s blushing like crazy and you tease her for it and stuffs her face in a pillow
• lego sets. i know she loves them but when she leaves pieces on the floor and you step on them and your like
“ellie what the fuck! pick up your stuff”
and she comes out the room like a sad lil baby n mumbles a ‘sorry’
• ellie falling asleep on your chest and she just completely drooled all over you but she’s your baby so you don’t care but then she wakes up and sneezes on you n rubs her nose on you then falls dead asleep again. what a baby
• plus i can imagine ellie falling asleep on you literally everywhere. no matter what
• PLUS i just know whenever you two are holding hands and her nose is itchy she pulls your hands up and uses your hand to scratch it
• when your watching something or reading and ellie comes into the room saying “look what i can do” and then does a fucking handstand???
• when ellie’s so excited to see you and she goes to kiss you and completely misses and kisses your chin or your nose
• ellie playing her video games and she keep dying and she slams her controller on the bed and turns to you with her eyebrows all furrowed and pointing to the screen is like “you see this shit?”
• she’s so grumpy in the morning it’s so cute you could be like “goodmorningg sweetie howd you sleep?” and shed mumble a goodmorning and okay and go back to sleep. plus when she’s grumpy and all sleepy the only way you can cheer her up is by spooning her and kissing her cute face everywhere until she’s smiling
• ellies a big baby whenever it’s just you two but when she’s sick??? oh it’s even worse i swear it seems like she’s actually cry if you left her alone for more than two secs
• speaking of whenever you have to use the bathroom in the middle of the night she’s coming too. she could be dead asleep but the second she felt you get off the bed
“babe where you going?” she asks all confused and still half asleep
“just the bathroom sweetheart i’ll be right back”
“no no i- me too” she says and gets up and follows you to the bathroom holding your hand n she’s so cute with her hair all messy and her eyes half open ohmygod i need her
• anyway when she’s been bugging you all day either making you trip or poking you randomly or fake fighting you or making you repeat what you said over and over again even though she heard the first time and you officially get mad at her n she’s just quiet and behaved and following you around like a lost puppy
and after you’ve ignored her for an hour she’ll legit get on her knees and beg you to forgive her
nsfw 18+
• you an ellie laying in bed and she just looks so good in that grey tank top of hers and sweatpants so you start rubbing up on her and straddling her lap, giving her a bunch of hints on what you want but she’s just… so oblivious because she telling you all these space facts
“oh my god did you know that saturn- wait are you even paying attention to me?” ellie says all hurt
“ellie…. i am keeping going honey” you say wrapping your arms around her neck and looking at her like you’re about to devour her
• everytime you bend down in front of her she’s grabbing your hips and fake fucking you from behind n mimicking your moans
• ellie walking home and you text her a pic of you wearing her shirt and no pants and she starts sprinting home and when she comes all out of breath your like “ellie did you seriously run here?” and she smiles and nods
• ellie being oh so sleepy but she still can’t get enough of you so she begs to eat you out and when she is, she’s so messy and delirious she’s sucking on your inner thigh instead of your clit
• you coming home after a long day and ellie hugs you from behind and feels you up and you push her away a little
“ellie calm down i haven’t even showered i’ve been sweating all day”
“mmm even better” ellie jokes and you gasp and turn around and hit her arm
“ewww ellie your so gross!”
• after sex she immediately passes out on you. i’m talking full dead body weight all on top of you
• n back to the dino boxers imagine during sex you go to take off her pants and see she has those on and you just freeze and ellie notices and her whole face turns red
“oops i forgot i had those on…” she says holding back a lil giggle. “surprise i guess?”
you can’t help to smile at her and laugh a little because she’s still so silly even during this

Mistaken Identities (dp x dc)
Danny had been doing his thing, looking around, making sure he didn't alter anything in the past, minding his own business. Officially, this was supposed to be a trip to gather more blood blossom samples for Team Phantom to study, but he had ended up being a little sidetracked. Apparently though, puritan times made for beautiful forests, sue him if he was enjoying a moment of peace in his otherwise crazy life. So here he was, relaxing for the first time in way too long when this guy just barged into the clearing. Danny straightened up with a yelp which had the guy stopping in his tracks before he turned to look at Danny.
"Be not afraid, child. I mean you no harm," the man said.
Danny squinted as he looked up at the half-shadowed face of the man that seemed vaguely familiar.
"Boy?"
"Uh-" Danny managed as he realized he was supposed to answer. "Oh yeah, no problem, man."
The man tilted his head which directed Danny's attention to his weird buckle-hat. Sobering up as he recognized the clothes from his previous jaunt in the past where Sam had almost gotten burnt at the stake, he mentally congratulated himself for turning back into a human before his nap. He really didn't want to end up trapped in blood blossoms by witch-finders again.
"Are you lost?" The man said, as he edged closer. "Do you require aid?"
The halfa jumped to his feet. "Nope!" Danny said before letting out a nervous laugh. "No aid, I'm all good. Thanks though."
The man opened his mouth to say something before another voice, higher pitched stopped him. "You are back!" A woman wearing a simple dress, with a few birds fluttering around her like a Disney princess approached them.
"Annie," answered the man.
"Come," she said before leading him away with only a glance towards the teenager. The man let himself be dragged away, but not before a last few words. "If you are ever in need of assistance, please do not hesitate."
Danny waved his hand. "Yep. For sure, dude. Thanks!"
Then before the man had turned away completely, the woman grabbed his hat playfully which revealed his face completely to the weak moonlight, and coincidentally to Danny's view. The couple disappeared between the thick foliage as Danny sat, struck dumb with what he had just witnessed.
"Oh my god," he whispered to himself. "That was Bruce fucking Wayne."
Danny had seen enough rag magazines and newspapers with his face printed on the cover to recognize the billionaire for sure. What the hell was he doing in Puritan times? Then, it hit Danny like a brick. Natural portals. They weren't common, or stable and they'd been known to spirit away people randomly. Clearly, they also had some pretty severe side-effects including amnesia considering the old-timey speech pattern Mr. Wayne was using.
There was only one thing for it, Danny clearly had to bring Mr. Wayne back to the present. Not only because it was the right thing to do, but also because a missing billionaire was bound to attract a good amount of attention and if anyone connected this to the ghost zone... Well if the GIW was bad now, Danny didn't want to know what other kind of unsavoury people would pop up if ghosts were better-known. Just imagining the Justice League getting involved was giving Danny the shivers. No, the best thing to do was get Mr. Wayne back to his time and hope he wouldn't remember much of what had happened and wouldn't dig into it further.
Just as he was nodding to himself, he heard a scream coming from not too far away. He transformed before flying towards the noise, only to find the woman he'd seen before with Mr. Wayne being captured by a bunch of men wearing the same kinds of hat.
"She's a witch! Burn her!" He heard someone yell. "Hang her dead!" Someone else said.
This was giving Danny some major flashback to Sam's very own witch burning and without wasting a second, he phased the woman right out of their grips and flew them away from the angry mob.
As soon as he landed and let go of the woman, she turned to him and gripped his arm instead. "You have to help him!"
"Help who?" Danny asked, wincing.
"Mordecai!" she said, her grip tight.
"Is that the man who was with you earlier?" the teenager asked.
The woman nodded before pointing southeast. "He is in the caves, fighting the dragon!"
Danny didn't waste anytime before flying in the direction she had pointed to. Going intangible helped with speed, and he phased through the ground, going straight for the aforementioned cave. He just phased through when he caught sight of Mr. Wayne. As he got closer, he could feel some sort of energy radiating from the man. Just then, the energy started building up and Mr. Wayne started to go transparent. Panicking, Danny did the first thing he could think of and absorbed the mounting energy to himself. It felt like a shot of adrenaline except way, way stronger and for a moment everything blanked out, before the world came into focus again. When he looked around, he couldn't find a trace of Mr. Wayne, but from the energy left over he could tell exactly when he had landed. The Golden Age of Piracy.
"Goddamit!" Danny yelled as he once again felt Bruce Wayne slip through his grasp as he stole away the potent energy from the billionaire's body before it could follow wherever he was going next. First it had been pirates, then the Wild West and lastly it was 20th century Gotham, clearly the natural portal had been all kinds of fucked up for Mr. Wayne to have been dragged from time period to time period. It was a miracle he was even still alive, the poor man! Danny let out a harsh sigh as he parsed out through the information the energy had left him with. This time he'd gotten the information for the two next time-jumps, which meant, Danny could get ahead of this for once and finally catch Mr. Wayne before he could jump again.
With a steadying intake of breath, Danny took out the Infiniv-map and set his destination before he let himself follow through. As he got through he could hear a bunch of different voices, all talking over each other.
"-distortions mean what I think it-"
"-not fair!"
"-time is breaking-"
"-only leave his body once he's dead."
Danny paid no mind as he locked eyes on Mr. Wayne who was lying in Wonder Woman's arms, in a black bodysuit, looking worse for the wear. The same energy as before was emanating from him, though this time it was even stronger. Danny approached carefully, invisible before he put a hand onto Mr. Wayne's chest and concentrated on drawing all the energy into himself. It wasn't like the other times, the flow was faster and he was having trouble staying focused as more and more flew into him. His brows scrunched in concentration, and unbeknownst to him, the invisibility dropped.
All the heroes in the room turned to look at the suddenly appearing white-haired teen who had a hand on Batman's chest. As they stared in confusion, the teen started to glow. It grew brighter and brighter before everyone had to shield their eyes as there was a pulse of bright light that died down almost immediately after. Wonder Woman had to blink the spots out of her vision as she felt the weight in her arms start to shift and let out a groan. "Bruce!"
She set him down and helped him put his head between his knees, as she gently stroked his back. Superman settled on his other side while Red Robin just sat in front of him, still half-believing Bruce was really back.
"What happened?" Bruce mumbled. "The omega radiation, I thought-"
"I'd like to know that too," Green Lantern said before he turned towards the glowy kid who was still blinking his eyes as if to chase away afterimages.
"His energy signature is the same as Darkseid," Raven said, her own eyes having not left the teenager since he had appeared.
"You don't mean..." started Superman as all the heroes turned to look at the kid slowly. The latter finally looked up as if sensing he was the focus of many eyes and cringed as he met the combined stares of the Justice League.
"Yes," Raven answered. "This is Darkseid's son."

〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰
your girlfriend frowned and crossed her arms at your words. "seriously? me and makeup?” she looked at you doubtfully. "yes!!" you cried out happily, “i’d really like to see how eyeliner would look on you.. please, ellie”, you looked at her with a soft, sweet look, trying to mentally convince her. the girl rolled her eyes jokingly. you were so excited by the idea, she just couldn’t upset you with refusal.
“okay..”, she sat on the bed, leaning on her hands and watching in a relaxed position as you rummaged through your makeup bag with enthusiasm. “gonna sit on my lap?” ellie grinned playfully. “only if it makes you more comfortable” you glanced at her and sat on her lap. she wrapped her arms around your waist and looked into your eyes. her touch sent pleasant goosebumps across your skin. you placed your hands on her cheeks and she leaned into your hands… you couldn’t help but smile. “close your eyes and don’t open until i tell you to”
ellie obediently closed her eyes. you spent a few seconds admiring your girl: freckles randomly scattered across her face, cute thick eyebrows and that scar... the features that made her stand out. you stared long enough, she realized what was happening, smiling without opening her eyes. noticing her reaction, you got down to business. you carefully traced the tip of your eyeliner along her lash line, trying not to move too fast. such thick and dark eyelashes, they always impressed you and you loved it. silence filled the room. you were so close to her, you could hear and feel her breath on your hands. the moment felt kind of intimate, it made you slightly nervous. your fingertips gently stroke the girl’s cheeks. she seemed very calm and relaxed, unlike you. ellie frowned when your movements became more confident, her eyelids twitched from your touch out of habit. you accidentally moved your hand with the eyeliner in the wrong direction. “fuck..” you whispered through a dissatisfied sigh and stood up from her. "whats wrong?" the absence of you in ellies hands, even for a few moments, upset the girl.
“you’re twitching too much, the line is crooked..” you returned to her lap with a cotton swab in your hands. she raised her head again. "too ticklish." she said sharply, her voice filled with playful annoyance. you carefully wiped away the crooked line of the eyeliner, trying not to press too hard on her thin skin. “be patient a little longer baby”, you kissed her forehead softly and again did your best trying to draw perfect lines. the girl put her hands back on your waist and squeezed a little, pulling you closer. she smirked in satisfaction, without opening her eyes. you melted under her touch, but you tried to keep your hand strong and make confident movements, even if your hands were a little shaky. after a few minutes of suffering, you got more or less accurate triangles. “open your eyes..” you closed your eyeliner and looked at your girlfriend with admiration. she frowned a little “ugh, this thing tightens the skin..”
you smirked contentedly and placed your hands on her shoulders. “you look so cute.. i knew this shape would suit you.” the girl smiles back at you, happy that you are happy with the result. “you’re such a pro”. “you didn’t even see it!”, you exclaimed, quickly got up from her lap and ran for the mirror. "here.." the girl was slightly surprised by her reflection. “wow.. this is really good,” she said, looking at herself from different angles. the eyeliner really did highlight her eye shape well and the forest green color of her eyes seemed to pop out more. “im surprised i even like it". a smile spread across your face and you began peppering your girlfriend’s face with endless amount of soft, small kisses. she laughed softly, feeling the warmth of your lips that made her blush a bit. her arms are wrapped tightly around your waist.
"what's next? you’re gonna dress me in your evening dress?” she asked jokingly through your nonstop kisses. you paused for a couple of seconds and looked at her. the delight on your face made it clear to ellie that she just made a big mistake. her eyes widened with slight embarrassment. "oh fuck no..."

i would be really grateful for any feedback!! ty<3

Fuck fuck FUCK that post reminded me of everything I felt earlier and now I’m deep in my feelings again
#it’s all this weird woowoo psychic stuff so it doesn’t even feel real and I know how insane it sounds#but she popped into my head randomly and I realized that I forgot to do something to mark her passing#and I hadn’t thought of her in awhile and that realization made me sad#then she said ‘it’s okay to let go you know’#which rationally I know but hearing it from her made me a little sad because I know how alone she was at the end#and I don’t want to leave her again#and I shit you not IMMEDIATELY after that the next episode of my podcast started and it was about her#weirdest fucking coincidence#so if you’re a woowoo pisces like me then it feels significant#especially because I haven’t listened to that podcast in months it just decided to play up next because I was in drive mode#weird stuff weird stuff#the podcast made me sad for her again but at the same time she was telling me ‘but that is how much you meant to me—#‘you made that easier you distracted me from that even for a short while’#small happinesses really are enough sometimes#and I’ve been an emotional mess since then#I’ve had several dreams about her recently and it’s pride month and I just#I miss her#but I know that I’m not meant to find her this time around. I used to think I was but. I just sort of know now.#this time was about healing and remembering and breaking cycles that prevented us from thriving#making sure that others don’t suffer the same way and if they do it wasn’t for lack of effort#this life is about being the one to finally pick up the pieces#and I’m so sad that I won’t have that with her this time#but there’s a contentment. because I’ve been given the gift of remembering what we did have and how good that felt while it lasted#and the comfort now of knowing that when we do meet again. it doesn’t have to fall apart the same way.#that things have changed so much and we would be able to just be together. there wouldn’t have to be any hiding. any pretending.#there wouldn’t be any shame#and just knowing that feels so freeing#so I guess I just. have to hold these emotions for now. and sit with them.#ride them out#past life

It’s not that Steve didn’t want a tattoo.
He’d wanted one for years. Just something to piss off his parents the way they pissed him off constantly.
Asking when he’d find a girlfriend (he wouldn’t, he’s gay), when he’d find a better job (he liked his job as a guidance counselor), when he’d move out of the tiny apartment he shared with that girl who couldn’t give them grandchildren (Robin gagged at the mere thought of any of that).
But Robin promised she’d go with him when he made this appointment a month ago and she’d just cancelled at the last minute. Something about a work emergency.
She didn’t have a work emergency. She worked at a Starbucks.
He knew what she was doing. It’s what she always did.
“I just wanna get you out of your shell! People should see the Steve that I see!”
Robin did get a different version of Steve, one that didn’t feel like he had to hide his surprisingly bubbly personality. His students got a calm, kind counselor. But everyone else?
They’d be lucky to get a smile during a conversation.
He wasn’t, like, an asshole.
He just had asshole tendencies.
Robin called him her Oscar The Grouch.
He allowed it because deep down, he knew it was true.
And now he was even MORE grumpy because he had to get this tattoo alone. In a place he’d almost certainly be the outcast in his glasses and business casual attire. With people judging him for not already having tattoos and piercings at the age of 27.
Robin owed him.
When he walked into the shop, he was surprised to hear classic rock instead of heavy metal. The front counter was covered in pictures of bands Steve didn’t know, tattoos he would never get, and signs that had enough vulgar words to fill up the swear jar he kept in the apartment for shits and giggles.
Nervous was an understatement.
A head popped around the corner, bright smile lighting up the face of a man who looked like he belonged here.
“Be right there!”
Steve didn’t bother to say anything because as soon as he started to respond, the head was gone.
He frowned, but figured the guy might be with another client and he was pretty sure they had rules about touching things with their gloves on. At least, he hoped they did.
He stared down at the picture on his phone.
It was small, simple. Something he wouldn’t even have to cover up at work.
One of his students drew it for him last year when he’d missed some work because of the flu. He’d only missed two days, but because he so rarely missed, his regulars were pretty worried about him.
His regulars being three students who sat with him during their lunch period to avoid bullies.
It was a sun, with beautiful yellows and oranges combining into a near perfect circle, small lines randomly jutting out and fading into nothing.
It was beautiful art.
And he was getting it permanently etched onto his body.
He loved his students, what could he say?
The head popped back around the corner, interrupting his thoughts again.
“Sorry for the wait. I had a customer on the phone. How can I help ya?”
“Steve Harrington. Here for a 6:00 appointment?”
The guy beamed at him, nodding along.
“Perfect! You said you already knew what you wanted?”
Steve held up his phone to show this still nameless guy the picture.
“You want the colors like that?”
“If you can.”
“If I can, he says! Of course I can! This is really nice. Did you make this?”
Steve snorted, but he wasn’t that amused. This guy was like a ball of energy and Steve was already exhausted.
“No. One of my students did.”
“Oh, are you a teacher?”
“Guidance counselor.”
“That’s cool! So you, like, make sure the youths of today are on the right path? Keep them interested in the right things?”
Steve blinked at this man.
“I guess, yeah. So can we uh, get started…”
“Oh shit! I always forget to introduce myself to the newbies. Eddie.” He held out his hand towards Steve to shake. Steve stared down at it for a moment, knowing his face was doing that judgy thing Robin always warned him about, but not being able to stop it. “Not a handshake guy?”
Steve cleared his throat, finally reaching his hand up to shake Eddie’s.
The rings on Eddie’s fingers were cold against his own, his grip was strong but not the type of string that made Steve uncomfortable.
Eddie was smiling at him. He never stopped smiling, this guy.
It was kind of…cute. Steve would never admit it to anyone, but the way Eddie just seemed genuinely happy was really doing it for him.
That was annoying.
When he finally remember to let go, Eddie was already turning around to grab a piece of paper from the shelf behind him.
“I’m just gonna have you send that to this email,” he pointed to the contact info on the piece of paper he’d grabbed. “And I’ll get it printed on transfer paper so we can get started.”
Steve nodded and sent the picture as requested.
He ignored the shaking of his hands. It wasn’t a big deal. It’s just a tattoo. Most adults have them. Robin had four. Eddie here seemed to have hundreds.
Eddie must have noticed his visible anxiety. He felt Eddie’s hand on his arm, squeezing gently.
“First tattoo?”
“Is it that obvious?”
“Nah. I’ve just done a lot of first tattoos.” Eddie pulled up the picture on his own phone while he spoke. “I promise it’ll be easier than you’re thinking.”
“I’m not worried about the pain.”
Eddie glanced up at him quickly, then back down at the phone in his hand.
“It’s just permanent, ya know?”
Eddie let out a laugh and held up both of his arms, fully covered in tattoos.
“I know. That’s what’s great. Nothing in life is permanent, but these are. Even when you’re long gone, these will still be on your body.”
Steve hadn’t thought about it like that.
Permanence was something he’d always struggled with. It’s why he was so standoffish according to the two therapists he’d tried talking to. His parents had never given him an idea of what someone staying around was like, his friendships all ended when he realized he wanted to be a better person than they were capable of being, and his only serious relationship ended when he was ready for marriage and she wasn’t.
He’d been through a lot of personal growth since then, most of it thanks to Robin and some experiences at the gay clubs she took him to, and now he felt better about who he was.
He just didn’t think anyone or anything would stick around.
Robin was proving she might, but only time would tell. Plenty of time for Steve to fuck it up.
“You can still back out, man. I won’t charge you the cancellation fee or anything.”
Oh, how nice. Eddie thought he was a wimp and wasn’t even gonna follow his own policy to let him back out.
That’s shameful. He was ashamed.
“Not backing out.”
He folded his arms in front of his chest, trying to tone down the glare he could feel on his own face.
Eddie threw his hands up as he waited for the printer to finish.
“Alright. Just letting you have an out.”
Eddie looked over the few copies he’d printed, all slightly different sizes, and then lined them up on the counter facing Steve.
“What size were you thinking? Where’s this going?”
Steve pointed to the middle one, barely an inch wide.
“I was thinking my wrist?”
Eddie smiled at him.
“Sounds good, sunshine.”
Oh. That was not good.
That little thing his stomach just did?
Nope. Not good at all.
Eddie walked around the counter and gestured for Steve to follow him around the corner.
Steve found himself in awe of the room he was walking into.
He’d never seen such variety in anything. Some of it resembled the front counter, but there was also a Bob Marley poster, a rainbow flag, a whole wall of funny bumper stickers, and graffiti along the ceiling.
It was certainly a lot for the eyes to take in.
Steve kind of loved it.
He even let out a smile.
He quickly hid it away again when he heard Eddie hit his hand against the chair.
“Got it all clean already for ya. Just take a seat and get comfy.” Eddie reached over grab some gloves from a shelf before he sat in front of Steve. “Gonna put this on you first. Make sure the placement is good. Then I’ll shave that area and get all my stuff ready to go. The tattoo itself probably won’t take more than an hour, and most of that will be shading these beautiful colors. Need anything before we get started? Water? Bathroom? Snack?”
Steve’s head was spinning.
Eddie’s energy was relentless, and he had a smile on his face the entire time.
Steve couldn’t help smiling back at him.
“I’m good. Thanks.”
Eddie nodded and started humming along to the song playing over the speakers.
He went through everything quickly, but still took his time explaining everything. Steve was kind of grateful he didn’t have to sit in silence; His brain wasn’t his friend when there was silence.
“Alright, sunshine. If you’re good, I’m good.”
Steve felt his face heat up, blush spreading from his cheeks to his neck.
“I’m good.”
And then he started.
It was sharp, the needles carving ink into his skin causing a new sensation up his entire arm. But it was also…good?
He’d expected it to be painful, maybe even go numb. He hadn’t expected the pain to feel like this.
He lost focus. Everything felt distant and blurry, but in a sleepy way, not in a pass out way. Steve felt himself smiling slightly, but didn’t have the energy to stop it.
He was watching Eddie work, but wasn’t really seeing anything beyond the way his fingers splayed his skin tight and the tattoo gun left ink behind.
His eyes closed at some point, but he wasn’t asleep, the faint buzz of the tattoo gun keeping him present enough to stay awake.
“Hey, sunshine. Doing alright?”
“Hm?”
He tried to focus in on Eddie’s face. Eddie was very close. He was holding his wrist.
Steve was still here.
“Need a break?”
“No. I’m good.”
Eddie chuckled. “I’d say so.”
He continued, and Steve let his mind wander again. It was nice to drift. He’d never felt this relaxed before, not even during the massage Robin got him for his birthday last year.
“Alright, sunshine. You’re done.”
Steve looked down at the tattoo now covering his wrist.
It was beautiful, even better than the picture.
He started to cry.
If he wasn’t so far gone, he’d probably be embarrassed or angry about it, but surely other people had cried after a tattoo before. Maybe Eddie would just ignore it.
“Oh, sweetheart. Do you not like it?”
“No. I love it.” Steve took a shaky breath, then another. “It’s beautiful. Thank you.”
Eddie was rubbing his back and smiling sadly down at him.
“I’m glad you love it. I just have to wrap it up and go over some care instructions, okay?”
“Okay.”
Steve was never this vulnerable, not even with Robin. He was pretty sure she’d only actually seen him cry once when a student moved away.
His whole thing was that he didn’t show emotions. His job required it to an extent, though he was always caring to his students, giving them smiles when they came in to make them feel welcome.
But here he was smiling and crying to a stranger over a tattoo.
“Sunshine?”
“Yeah?”
“Got you some water. I need you to look at me while I go over the instructions okay?”
“Okay.”
He felt himself coming back down to earth as he looked at Eddie, a soft smile making Steve focus in on his mouth.
“That’s good. Keep this wrapped for four hours at least and longer if you’ll be outside. When you take it off, make sure you wash it with antibacterial soap gently and then use moisturizing lotion, unscented is best. If you need some, I can give you some. Make sure to keep it moisturized over the next week. It’ll peel a little, that’s normal, but if you see anything that’s a lot of color falling out or something, come see me and I can fix it. No long exposure to direct sunlight for at least 4 weeks, and use sunscreen on it if you think you will be.” He took a breath and smirked. “Got it?”
“Um.”
He handed over a paper with a laugh.
“It’s all right here. I just needed you to come back down from space. Drink your water and relax for a minute. I’ll go get the card reader.”
Steve did as he was told, enjoying the way the ice cold water helped him focus back in on his surroundings.
With the focus came the grumpiness. He was crashing from his adrenaline high, and his first instinct was to pout.
He didn’t think he was visibly doing so until he heard Eddie snort from a few feet away.
“Welcome back. Sorry to burst your bubble. If I didn’t have another client in 20 minutes, I’d probably have let you stay there for a bit. Seems like you needed it.”
“I. What do you mean? I was just zoned out.”
Eddie froze where he was typing something into his phone.
“Have you never…? Oh. Jesus Christ. Okay. Well. I don’t.” He looked genuinely concerned about what to do. “Okay. I don’t feel comfortable letting you be alone yet. Do you have someone you live with or who can hang out for a bit?”
“My roommate had a work emergency or she’d be here.”
Steve’s arms were crossed again, but the pull of the wrap around his wrist reminded him of the dull ache he was still experiencing. It made him shiver, but he couldn’t explain why.
“Okay. Can you stick around for a bit? I’ve got an office with a couch in the back.”
“Are you gonna tell me why?”
“Ever heard of sub space?”
“Like…the kinky thing?”
Eddie facepalmed.
“Yeah. Like the kinky thing.”
“I mean, I’ve heard of it. Why?”
“You just spent the last hour in it.”
Steve was usually pretty good at keeping a pretty stoic face, but his jaw dropped.
“No I didn’t.”
“Sunshine, you were gone. I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone that deep from a tattoo before.”
“If this is just a way to get me alone in your office or something…”
“Steve. I know you don’t know me, but I would never do that. If I wanted to get you alone, I’d just ask you.”
“I’m sure I’d say no.”
“Exactly. So you’ll stay so I can keep an eye on you?”
Steve shrugged. He didn’t have anything else to do and Robin wouldn’t be home for hours.
“I guess.”
Eddie’s eyes were practically glittering.
“Good. Go lay down, sunshine. I’ll bring you more water in a minute.”
So despite Steve having no idea what just happened, and barely any idea who Eddie even was beyond a talented tattoo artist, he made his way to the office and curled up on the couch.
Pout firmly in place because he was still Steve, after all.

Best Friends Forever (Platonic Yandere Death Note).
Tumblr media
Btw some of the timeline might not make sense but whatever.
"Hello."
The tiny little text popped up, a small 'ping' sound following. You groan as your bombarded with the blue light, picking it up to read the message.
"Another message from them." You thought.
They had no name. You didn't share your names with each other. You only knew him as Justice, which he told you to call him. Personally, you thought it was a corny name, but who were you to judge?
"Why are you up so late?" You're straight forward, too tired to entertain your online friend.
You watch as three dots appear before their response pops up. "I was bored." Before you could respond, another message appeared. "You're up too."
You let out another groan that was muffled by your pillow. You know you parents wouldn't like you being up so late, so you tried to stay as quiet as possible when talking to your companion. For some reason, they were always up so late, messaging you all throughout the night.
Your fingers glide across the screen as you answer, "I'm up because you woke me up." Your response displayed a clear sign of frustration. You through your phone down onto your bed and closed your eyes until the next response. You swear, that ping will haunt you forever.
"Have you been keeping up with Kira?" They ask. This wasn't the first time they've asked you questions regarding Kira. In fact, they ask you at least once a week if you've been keeping up with everything. It's almost comical at this point.
You role your eyes while typing, "Of course, Justice, why wouldn't I? Thats basically all we talk about."
His response comes quick, "I'm just making sure. You never know what's out there."
"Why would Kira want to kill me?"
"You never know." Their response was cryptic, ending the conversation as you drift off back to sleep.
——
(Y/N)? Wake up, sleepyhead." Your sister, Sayu, cheerfully yells. Your eyes snap open and you straighten up. Your eyes dart around your kitchen, you brother Light looking at you strangely.
"(Y/N), are you getting enough sleep?" Light asks, which gets a nod out of you. He looks unconvinced as he continues eating his breakfast.
"Well, you better get ready for school, we're leaving soon." He mentions as he stands up from his seat and grabs his bag from the back of his chair. You nod once again, thanking your mom for the breakfast. Before you can even sit up, your mother is bombarding you with questions, a worried expression written all over her face.
"Oh sweetheart, you look sick." She sighs. "Are you sure you want to go to school today?" She's feeling your face for any sign of sickness, which causes you to groan and push her away slightly.
"I'm fine mom." You grab your bag and stand next to Light. "See you after school."
The worried expression still doesn't leave her face as you and Light walk out the door. "Okay sweety. Light, take care of them, okay?" She shouts. Light nods absentmindedly.
"Of course, mom."
——
"So, why were you up so late?" Light asks randomly. You look at him confused, which only gets a smile from him.
"You're my sibling, it's my job to know what you're doing." His voice is too sweet. "And plus, I noticed the light coming from your room when I was heading to bed last night." He adds on.
"I was just talking to a friend." You answer quietly. Your response was short, not wanting to tell him the truth, since you knew he wouldn't really like you talking to some random stranger on the internet. You were also too distracted by the feeling of someone watching you to really pay attention to your brother.
You do hear him laugh however, which puts a pit in your stomach. You look over at him to see a hint of a cruel look on his face. "You don't have friends (Y/N)." He mocks, grinning at the embarrassment that washes over your face.
"You don't have friends either." You argue, your voice childish and whiny. A cool breeze comes up behind you, causing you to look back, and causing Lights face to become slightly annoyed. Before you can ask him about it though, he's quickly back to normal.
"At least I have a girlfriend." He speaks.
You huff, "A girlfriend who's supper annoying." Light doesn't seem to care that you just called Misa annoying, but he doesn't talk for the rest of the walk to school, something you very much appreciate.
——
"Ping."
There's your phone again. You're sitting outside eating lunch when you get another message from Justice.
"Hello."
You finish crewing your rice before answering. "Hey. What's up?" They usually never text you this early.
They don't respond for a while, you nearly forgetting that they were messaging you as you watched the people around you converse and eat, a blank expression on your face.
"What do you do for fun?" That was a weird question. You two had an unspoken agreement of not asking each other personal questions, so this question really threw you off guard.
You spent a while coming up with an answer, pondering what they could mean by it. Why do they suddenly want to know now?
"I don't really know. I usually just spend my time at home and school." You didn't mean to sound so sad, but it definitely came off that way.
"So, you don't have any friends?" Well, that's straight to the point. You frown and blow a piece of strayhair out of your face.
"Other than you, no." You answer quickly. You couldn't help the intense sadness that washed over you at your answer. You're in your second year of high school and your only friend is a random person on the internet.
You've never been good at making friends, mostly because your bother doesn't approve of anyone who you show a slight interest in. You wonder if you ever met Justice in person, would they actually like you? Would Light like them? You can't think for too long before you hear yet another ping from your phone. You look down at it to see that Justice has responded.
"That's good."
——
You spent your time after school studying at the local cafe.
You didn't exactly care too much about your grades. Light was the high achiever in your household, so you and your younger sister didn't have to worry too much about grades. Light however, didn't like you slacking off. So, he made you a studying schedule in order for you to achieve academic excellence. Usually, he would be here with you, but lately he's been too busy with something he claimed was "none of your business."
You didn't mind though, since the cafe was pretty dead today. The only people here were you, the workers, and someone sitting in the far corner of the room. You couldn't get a good look at him because of the way he was sitting, but he was weird enough to cause you to sit far away from him.
Your studies, unsurprisingly, was uneventful. You spend most of your time focusing on math, since that's what you struggled with the most. Throughout you could hear your phone buzz, since you put it on silent while studying. You assumed it was Light reminding you to come home on time since you usually lost track of time when you were by yourself.
"Buzz, buzz." You give a silent groan, rolling your eyes in the process. You push your phone away, hoping too silent it a little.
"Buzz, buzz." It didn't stop. Frustrated, you snatch your phone from the table, staring intensely at the contact who's been messaging you.
It's Justice.
Your expression changes, frustration melting into confusion. You had 5 messages from them.
"Hello."
"(Y/N)."
"Please respond."
"I would like to talk."
"(Y/N). Respond."
You shake your head, shocked. Your fingers glided over the screen as you hurriedly typed a response.
"Sorry, Justice. I was studying."
"Please notify me beforehand next time."
'Why does it matter?' You thought. They've never been this overbearing before. Like they were reading your mind, you received another message instantly.
"I'm sorry for my behavior. I was worried." You couldn't help but feel warm, nobody other than your mother really worries for you.
"Why though?" You prod.
They took a while to answer and while you were waiting, you heard the strange man order another cake. You swear it's their tenth.
A few seconds after the strange man's cake comes, you get a notification.
"There's been a rise in deaths regarding the Kira case. I wouldn't want you to be one of them."
"Awww, you worry about me?" You jokingly ask. It wasn't even a second before they relied.
"Of course. You're my only friend after all."
——
You didn't exactly hate Misa; you just couldn't keep up with her.
Since you were closer in age with her, she tended to hang out with you often, claiming she wanted to learn more about Light's favorite sibling. You don't know what Light's been telling her, but your definitely not his favorite.
Once a week, you would meet up Misa at the cafe, the same cafe you study at. You confided in Justice that you really didn't want to hang out with your brother's girlfriend, being careful not to break your rule of mentioning anything too personal, like her name. They didn't give any great advice, just telling you to not go, which obviously wasn't an option.
"Soooooo...." Misa's drawled with a sing song tone. "You've been looking at your phone all day. You got a sweetheart."
You quickly look up from your phone, shutting it off the process. You shake your head, becoming shy by her giggles.
"Don't be shy, I won't tell light." She teases, playing with the cake on her plate. She smiles at you sweetly. "Come on, you can tell me."
You look away, embarrassed. "They're just a friend." Misa squealed at your answer, so excited she stretched over the table and grasped your hands.
"They're just a friend right now!" She pointed out, ignoring your discomfort. "How did you meet? Do you go to the same school? When can I meet them? Oh! Maybe we can go on a double date like in those romantic movies."
"Misa calm down, I promise you they're just a friend." Her mood shifted for excitement to disappointment in a flash. Pouting, she slumps back in her seat.
"Fine, but if it becomes anything more you promise to tell me?"
"I promise."
——
"Tell me more about your family, Yagami-kun."
"Why do you ask?" L doesn't move his eyes from the screens in front of him. But he can feel Yagami's gaze on him. It's hard and accusing, and he knows exactly why. He's protective of his children, that much is clear.
He hears Yagami sigh quietly and feels his gaze move back to the screen, focusing on the one displaying his family. L moves thumb to his mouth, toying with his lip.
"I don't know what exactly to say." He starts. "They somehow manage to keep up with my schedule, that means something right." He gives a small laugh.
L doesn't laugh though. He's too busy glaring camera, specifically the one displaying the Yagami household. Everyone was there. Everyone of course, except you.
Soichiro Yagami shakes his head while rubbing his forehead in contempt. "They're out with friends, it's always once a week."
The hand which isn't currently near his mouth grips his knee. He continues to glare at the camera, only shifting to look at the people moving around the house.
"Where." He shoves a piece of chocolate in his mouth.
Yagami thinks for a while before answering. "I believe the cafe near our neighborhood."
That makes sense, you're usually there. But with who? L stays silent for a while, pondering this mystery "friend."
He doesn't like that word when applied to someone that isn't him. It makes him sick. He grimaces, shoving a piece of candy in his mouth in the hope it calms him down.
It doesn't.
L didn't have any strong feeling regarding you at first, just a way to get to your brother. He saw how lonely you were, and used it, hoping to get some information out of you.
But you were smart. Not like your brother, but definitely more that he expected. You never shared with him any strong opinions regarding anything, remaining neutral on every topic of discussion. It became frustrating after a while.
But it also became fun.
He didn't know when it started, but slowly he started talking to you longer and longer. Observing you longer and longer. And he noticed how...protective Light was of you. Light was like him, he cared for people in weird ways. While Light chose to take a stricter approach, L chose to go the opposite route, gaining your trust by exploiting your loneliness and promising that he'll always be there for you. And while at the beginning it was nothing more than a lie, it slowly became the truth.
He craved your attention, he wanted to be the only thing you cared about. He couldn't stand you talking to anyone, Light included. Which is why he was so pissed about you being around someone else.
"Ryuzaki, your phone is ringing" Yagami notified. L slowly retrieved his phone, gripping it between his pointer finger and thumb, a small smile grazed his face when he saw the recipient.
"What is it?" Yagami questioned as L pocketed the phone.
"My friend."

↳ i’m like the wind, baby!
turns out the infamous serial killer is pretty hot and stupid so you take advantage of that. — inspired by scary movie.
↳ featuring, ghostface! stelle

you yelped at the abrupt sound of the shitty telephone ringing through the kitchen, breaking the ominous silence. with a racing heart, you stalk over towards the phone. sighing heavily through your nose, you picked up the phone reluctantly,
“ hello? look, this isn’t funny, stop calling my—“
a deep feminine voice interrupts you,
“ i’m going to kill you, i’m going to chop you up into pieces and stuff you into a trash bag. “
you gasped in shock, “ wh-what the fuck? who are you, how did you get my num—“
“ i’m in the house. “ the woman giggles on the other end. you immediately pace over to the living room, looking around the room frantically as they continued to taunt and giggle into your ear like a child.
“ i can be anywhere, i’m like the wind, baby. where am i? “
your gaze landed on a pair of black shoes sticking out from the side of the couch. brows furrowed with confusion, you responded back, “ uhm. .you’re behind the couch? “ what caused you to be puzzled even more was the genuine confusion in their voice upon your discovery.
“ h-how, how did you know? “
you wanted to face palm so bad.
“ because your shoes are literally poking out from the side of the couch. “
clad in an all black costume with the rumored ghost face mask, the killer immediately stands up, groaning with the phone still pressed up against their ear through the mask. “ okay, okay— let me try again. turn around! no peeking! “
fighting the urge to roll your eyes, you turned around. grunting and rustling bounces of the walls of the living room. was this really the killer that supposedly committed multiple brutal murders?
“ okay, now you can turn around. can you guess where i am now? “ they asked, giggling. you turned back around, already noticing the knife poking around from behind the curtains of the large window. “nooo, i don’t. where could you possibly be? “ you inquired sarcastically, slowly walking out the room, hoping to sneak towards the front door to escape.
“ i’ll give you a big clue! “ they popped out from the behind the curtains, somehow jumpscaring the absolute shit out of you. you dropped the phone in terror and sprinted towards the stairs. before they can follow behind you, they randomly slipped on the wooden floor. hearing the loud thump accompanied with a soft groan, you whipped your head around to see what happened. your jaw dropped in shock at the mask and knife strewn about on the floor.
“ holy shit! you’re a woman?! a handsome looking one at that! “ you gawked, looking over at the grey–haired woman in awe. at this point, you’re not even scared anymore. “ seriously, now i don’t even mind you being a dumb serial killer, why don’t we settle this in bed? “
a deep blush appears on her cheeks. “ you’re such a freak! i’m definitely cutting off your tongue first! “ she hurriedly slides her mask back on and grabs her knife before running up the stairs after you. “ and i’m the freak! “ you quickly grabbed a random vase from a small shelf and threw it at her. it shatters on her head and stuns her for a few moments, giving you enough time to run up the last flight of stairs and dash to your room. you snatched the bat from your closet and hid behind the door.
not a second later, she comes rushing in the bedroom, breathing heavily. “ shit, why is this mask so stuffy? “ she mumbles to herself then blurts out, “ come out, skank. maybe i’ll give you a chance if you let me drag my totally big, super sharp, knife across your pretty skin—“
you tip–toed over to the supposed killer, raising your bat to strike her. her back was facing you which made it quite easy to whack her on the head. “gotcha, you dumb raccoon!” you grinned, proudly watching her tumble over to the bed, groaning in pain. you have her right where you want her. you pounced on the taller woman, taking the knife from her hand and tossed it somewhere in the room. “ honestly, how did i catch you first and i’m suppose to be the victim? “ you mused loudly, flipping her around on her back and pulled the mask off from her head.
she peers at you through her messy grey hair, shockingly beautiful golden eyes dazed from the blow to the head. you kind of felt bad, she reminded you of a hurt puppy. you straddled her hips, pinning her wrists down with both hands. “ i didn’t hit you too hard, did i baby? here, i’ll make you feel better.” you pressed your lips against hers hungrily, not caring about the metallic taste. perhaps you may have hit her too hard because she’s barely even fighting back.
“ lemme go. .” she demands weakly. you pepper kisses along her jaw and down her neck. “ and to do what, sweetheart? kill me? you’re cute. “ you laughed, running a hand over her chest and squeezed one of the supple mound of flesh. it felt like it was little above average. “ tits probably bigger than mine. “
she emits a cute little mewl, a suspicious object brushes against your thigh. curious, you instinctively palmed it. the pretty woman moans loudly, buckling her hips against your hand. “ don’t tell me. .” your gaze skims down to confirm your suspicions. you squeeze it experimentally, she whimpers. you stroke it, it pulsates. “ pl-please stop. .” she looks at you with tears already in her eyes. why was she the one begging and crying?
“ you have a dick? wow, it feels like i caught a rare pokémon. “
you pulled down the zipper of her ragged black pants and freed her cock from her boxers. it stood up proud, not too big or small at all; it was the perfect size with decent girth and curve. “ fuck, how could you be a killer, “ your hand wraps around her cock and stroking it painfully slow. “ but be so fuckin’ silly and dumb? “
“ d-don’t call me dumb! “ she chokes out through her tears, biting her lips to hold back a throaty moan. pre-cum pools out of her mushroom tip, you swiped your fingers over it to use it as lube. you grinned mischievously and dipped down to whisper in her ear. “ but you are, pretty girl. you broke into my home and waste my time to try at your attempt to “kill” me? play stupid games, you win stupid prizes.“ you fastened your pace, fisting her throbbing cock.
she sobs, arching her back in pleasure as she feels the tension tighten in her abdomen. “shit, m’gonna cum—cumming! “ her cock pulsates, thick ropes of cum spurts everywhere and gets all over the sheets and her pants. “ woah, you came so much from just me stroking you, this is practically straight out of a shitty porn scene. “ you scoffed.
exhausted, her chest heaves heavily, mind clouded with lust. the fact that her dick was still hard made your heart jump with excitement. she watches you with tired eyes as you reposition yourself between her legs. “ you still have more for me, good. “ you encircles your lips around her shaft, licking at the remains of her cum. her breathe hitches as she feels your warm mouth fully take her.
you lazily moved your lips up and down on her sensitive cock, taking note of the occasional twitch in your mouth.“ o-oh shit. .! “ she breathes, her gloved hands flies to your head, weakly tugging at your (h/c) locks. the flat of your warm tongue drags itself along the base, leaving trails of saliva and cum. she desperately pushes her hips further against your mouth, allowing more of her cock to inch further to the back of your throat. “your mouth feels s’good! ”she whimpers, fat tears running down her flush cheeks.
in response, you moved faster and albeit sloppily, so did her hips. the lewd slurping noises coming from you completely pushed her over the edge. “ f-fuck, i’m cumming again! “ she throws her head back in pure ecstasy, eye squeezed shut as she cums in your mouth. you swallowed the best you could but there was still lots it gushing out of your mouth and dribbling down her cock.
you pulled away, licking the remains of her seed off your lips. “ w-want m-more. “ she whines softly at the loss of warmth and pleasure. you chuckled at her eagerness and undid your jeans then discarded them on the floor. “ oh, you will. “ you positioned yourself over her length, pulling your soaked panties to the side. “ i’m not gonna miss a chance to fuck a hot, stupid serial killer like you silly. “ lining yourself up with her tip, you slowly sinked yourself down.
your aching pussy welcomes her cock like a blanket. you moaned at the nice feeling of her stretching you out. “ fuck, you even feel perfect inside of me. “ her hands places themselves on your hips and squeezed them weakly, urging you to move. you lifted your hips up, her cock dragging against your walls before slamming back down. “ you’re s’tight. . ! “ she moanful groans, trying her best to keep up with your little ruts. drool escapes her lips, nothing but pleasure and euphoria fills her body. “ I know baby, you can handle it. “ you cooed.
the bed creaks with every roll of your hips, pushing her further into the mattress. grey hair messily splayed across the sheets, face cutely scrunched up, and lips parted open; waiting to be swollen up by your lips—why does she gotta be so—
“ damn stupid?! “ you cried disappointedly, continuing to ride her dick. “ on top of that, a fucking serial killer! “
your supposed attacker was too pussy drunk to even fully comprehend your outburst.

Whenever Mama Rio isn't around and has to braid his brothers hair, Miles Morales makes sure to be extra rough just because it annoys Milo.
Miles Morales who pops his brother with the comb for no reason, even when Milo isn't moving. ↳ "Sorry. Yo head just big" "NIGGA THAT WAS MY SHOULDER."
Miles Morales, who spent 3 days making a near damn 30 minute handshake with Milo.
Miles Morales who threatens to snitch on his brother anytime Milo refuses to cover for him as Spider-Man, which always ends in a fight.
Miles Morales who gets bullied by Milo for not understanding Spanish
Miles Morales who is more of a 'she tells me to shut up and I do' kind of person. Definetly not as sassy as his counterpart. ↳ "Yes ma'am."/"My bad."
Miles Morales can, and WILL pull on Milo's braids to beat him in a race.
But if it came down to it all? Miles won't ever hesitate to put his beef aside to help Milo demolish some shit. Together !
Them two are just like Phineas and Ferb. They wanna make a flying car? They'll make a flying car.

a not so spicy confession
Tumblr media
summary: when Y/N's secret crush on Sana becomes too much to bear
beneath the old tree in the university courtyard, nayeon nudged you, a smirk playing on her lips. "you've got a serious staring problem," she teased.
you rolled your eyes and shot back, "oh, shut up. no, i don't."
chilling on a bench, jihyo joined in, nodding towards the other side of the courtyard where sana, your long-time crush, was minding her business. "yeah, the only time she has a staring problem is when sana is around," jihyo chuckled.
nayeon, with a sly grin, added her two cents. "you know, y/n, if you weren't such a coward, you wouldn't be just staring at her from afar." she shook her head in mock disappointment.
you scoffed, defending yourself, "i'm not a coward. i just... appreciate the view, okay?"
jihyo shot you a skeptical look. "appreciate the view? come on, it's been, like, forever. just go talk to her."
you shook your head, a resigned smile on your face. "nah, it's never gonna happen. sana won't be interested anyway."
nayeon smirked knowingly, "or maybe she's waiting for you to make a move, but you're just stuck in 'appreciating the view' mode."
you scoffed again, tossing a playful punch at nayeon's arm, "come on, you guys know as well as i do that sana's got a line of admirers longer than the coffee queue in the morning. why would she bother with me?"
jihyo playfully rolled her eyes, a dramatic sigh escaping her lips. "y/n, it pains me to say this, but you're actually pretty cute. it's not too far-fetched for her to be into you."
nayeon, lost in thought for a moment, suddenly perked up with excitement. "oh, that's right! remember that one time in junior year when sana asked me about you? she was like, 'hey, is y/n in class? i wanted to ask her something.' and i was like, 'why don't you ask her yourself?'"
your eyebrows shot up in surprise. "wait, what? junior year? why didn't you tell me about this before?"
nayeon, with a sheepish grin, replied, "it just randomly popped into my head now. but seriously, y/n, you've got to give yourself more credit!"
jihyo jumped back into the conversation, her tone teasing. "see, y/n? sana's not just asking about anyone. you've got her intrigued."
before you could reply, you caught the sound of sana's laugh, echoing from her table with mina and momo. nayeon nudged you, smirking, "well, there's your girl."
your cheeks turned a shade of pink. "yeah, yeah, not a big deal."
sana, mina, and momo had been tight since their move from japan, sticking together like glue throughout university. sana's laugh kept ringing out, and you couldn't help but think back to when sana's laugh had first captivated you. you wondered if, just maybe, you could ever be the reason behind that infectious laughter.
just then, jeongyeon arrived at your table. "hey, are you guys hitting up miyeon's party tomorrow night?" she asked, munching on a boiled egg.
nayeon and jihyo nodded simultaneously. "of course! you bet we'll be there, and don't worry, we're dragging y/n along too," nayeon declared with a mischievous grin.
you rolled your eyes. "yeah, yeah. i was planning to go anyway. got a ton of free time this week."
jeongyeon sighed, chewing on her boiled egg. "ugh, i wish i had free time. my super-intense calculus prof is trying to kill us with assignments."
fast forward to the day of the party, nayeon swung by your apartment, exclaiming, "ready to see your girlfriend tonight?"
you rolled your eyes as you entered the car, "sana’s not my girlfriend.”
jeongyeon giggled, "who said we were talking about sana?"
nayeon couldn't resist teasing, "you keep denying it, but the heart wants what it wants, y/n. maybe tonight's the night sana will realize you’re her soulmate."
you chuckled, "sana and i barely know each other."
jihyo joined in, "yeah, but strangers can become friends, and friends can become more than that, you know? especially at a party with the right mood and a touch of magic in the air."
nayeon added, "you know, we're all graduating soon. you might regret not making a move."
jeongyeon and jihyo chimed in agreement, teasing you more about missed opportunities and what-ifs. you, lost in thought, couldn't help but consider the possibilities.
as you arrived at the party, dahyun greeted you at the door with infectious energy, exclaiming, "what's up, what's up, party peopleeee! prepare yourselves for a night of epic proportions!"
you guys couldn't help but laugh at dahyun's lively entrance, and as you made your way inside, she continued her entertaining banter and turned to you, “unnie, grab your dancing shoes because tonight we're going to break it down on the dance floor! and if you see miyeon, give her a high-five for throwing the party of the century!"
you amused by dahyun’s obvious drunkenness turned to your junior and patted her on the head, "well, if the night's as epic as your intro, dahyun, we're in for a wild ride.”
as the night marched on, you could feel the drinks weaving a tipsy tapestry around you. laughter bubbled through the air, but amidst the cheerful chaos, your eyes kept searching for a familiar face in the lively crowd – sana.
then, you spotted her: sana, sporting the cutest brown shirt that hugged all the right places, and those glasses, a rare accessory that added an extra layer of charm. you couldn't help but marvel at how sana seemed to be the standout beauty of the night.
nayeon, with her knack for reading between the lines, couldn't resist a playful jab. "well, well, what's got you all starry-eyed? is it the snacks or someone special catching your gaze?"
jihyo and jeongyeon, sensing an opportunity for some good-natured teasing, joined in. "if you don't act fast, dex might swoop in and steal the spotlight. you wouldn't want to miss your chance forever," jeongyeon teased, the mention of dex causing a subtle shift in your mood.
suddenly, amidst the laughter and teasing, you found yourself feeling a bit low. another shot seemed like a good idea, a temporary escape from the self-doubt and lingering 'what-ifs.'
despite the lively atmosphere, you couldn't shake off a twinge of sadness. the wish to gather the courage and strike up a conversation with sana weighed heavily on you.
nayeon, always the instigator, added more fuel to the playful fire. "come on, y/n! if you don't make a move, dex is going to steal the show, and you'll be left with a bag of 'what-ifs' to ponder over in your graduation cap!"
jihyo chimed in, "you'll regret it if you don't try. plus, it's a party! everyone's a bit buzzed; it's the perfect time!"
jeongyeon, with a conspiratorial grin, added, "you've got nothing to lose and a whole lot to gain.”
despite the encouraging words, your mind swirled with uncertainty. the mention of dex stirred a pang of jealousy you hadn't anticipated, prompting you to reach for another shot, hoping it would wash away the brewing storm inside. dex, the self-proclaimed admirer of sana. he made it known to everyone that sana was his ideal girl, and you couldn't help but scoff at the thought. after all, sana was your dream girl too, so dex wasn't exactly special. yet, you had witnessed how sana gave dex the time of day, even flirting with him a bit.
the night continued, and as you downed more shots, the liquid courage only seemed to fuel the internal struggle. the pulsating music, contagious laughter, and shared moments faded into the background as you grappled with the weight of indecision and the fear of missing out.
an hour later, you found yourself feeling pretty drunk, so you decided it was time to take a breather. you excused yourself, stumbling a bit, and made your way to the kitchen, hoping that some water and maybe a snack could work their magic. as you stepped into the kitchen, though, you couldn't believe your eyes—there was dex, boldly talking up sana. this sight, for some reason, ignited a spark of annoyance within you.
summoning every ounce of sober energy you had left, you marched up to dex and sana. you cleared your throat dramatically and declared, "you guys wouldn’t make a cute couple, you know."
sana burst into laughter, a warm sound that filled the room. "y/n? you okay?" she asked, a playful glint in her eye. on the other hand, dex looked puzzled and muttered, "i think she's drunk."
you, determined to prove your sobriety, straightened up and insisted, "i'm not drunk. and even if i were, trust me, any clear-headed person could see you two wouldn't be cute together."
dex, still trying to process your bold statement, stammered, "uh, why not?"
you fired back, "well, dex, you're like a plain sandwich, and sana deserves a five-star meal. no offense, of course."
sana, thoroughly amused at the unfolding scene, exchanged an amused glance with dex, who seemed utterly perplexed by your sudden proclamation. "you're a riot, y/n," sana teased, suppressing a laugh.
dex, still looking baffled, just shrugged, and sana, with a playful smile, said, "excuse us for a moment, dex. i think y/n needs a bit of fresh air."
as sana led you out of the kitchen, you couldn't help but mutter, "i am sober, you know."
sana chuckled, "sure, y/n, of course, you are."
while climbing the stairs, sana continued to giggle, and with a teasing smile, she added, "you're the soberest person i've ever seen."
you reached what you assumed was miyeon's room but you couldn’t really process anything right now, and sana gently guided you to the bed. sana gently asked, "do you know where nayeon, jihyo, or jeongyeon is?”
sana, grabbing her phone, seemed to be in the process of contacting one of them to come to your rescue.
in the midst of this, you couldn't shake the feeling of regret creeping in. you blurted out, "are you upset with me? i mean, i interrupted you, right?"
sana, still calm and collected, assured you, "no, not upset. just want to make sure you're okay."
you knew you were gonna regret all of this tomorrow but, fueled by the liquid courage coursing through her, you decided you didn't care about the impending consequences. your world could crumble tomorrow; tonight was for saying whatever you wanted.
in the haze of inebriation, you couldn't help but make a lighthearted comment, "i have a talent for messing things up spectacularly, huh."
sana giggled, "well, you did add a bit of drama to the party, that's for sure."
sana sighed, her attempts to reach nayeon, jihyo, or jeongyeon proving unsuccessful. she turned to you, a concerned look on her face, and asked, "will you be okay staying here for a while? i can't seem to contact any of them."
you, still feeling a bit woozy, nodded and managed a small smile, "yeah, sure. it's fine."
"great," sana replied, a playful glint in her eye. "so, am i staying with you?" she asked, a teasing smile playing on her lips.
you couldn't help but blush at sana's words. "uh, yeah, sure. you can stay," you stammered.
sana giggled at your adorable reaction, then her expression turned thoughtful. "hey, remember that five-star meal comment from earlier? what was that about?"
you groaned in embarrassment, burying your face in your hands. "can we please forget about it?”
sana, however, was not one to let things go easily. she nudged you, still grinning, and asked, "is there someone you think is a five-star meal?"
you, feeling the heat rise to your cheeks, mumbled, "no one, really. it was just a silly thing i said."
but sana persisted, a mischievous glint in her eye, "come on, spill the beans. i want to know who's a five-star meal in your book."
you, still blushing, let out an exasperated laugh. "okay, fine, if i have to pick someone, it's you, okay? happy now?"
sana's eyes sparkled with delight, and she responded with a charming grin, "well, thank you for the compliment. you're not so bad yourself, you know."
sana seeing you blushing pushed even more, “so, y/n, if you were to pick someone who's worthy of me, who would it be?"
you groaned, realizing sana's playful challenge. "i don't know, maybe someone who matches your vibe?"
sana's smile widened, and she playfully poked your nose. "that's a good answer, but you're not getting away that easily. come on, anyone in particular?"
still oblivious to sana's underlying intentions, you thought for a moment and then shrugged. "i don't know, sana. you're pretty amazing. i can't think of anyone else."
sana shifted her gaze, looking at you as if she were analyzing and trying to read you. after a moment, she spoke with a knowing tone, "you like me, don't you?"
you were taken aback, your eyes widening. “what do you mean?"
sana only laughed, a musical sound that danced through the air. "i can tell, y/n. mina and momo notice it a lot too when you're staring. i think it's cute."
now thoroughly embarrassed, you stammered, "i-i don't know what you're talking about. i mean, why would i—"
sana interrupted, her laughter contagious, "relax, y/n. besides, it's not like it's a big secret."
trying to regain your composure, you managed a nervous laugh. "i didn't think it was that obvious."
sana, still wearing that mischievous grin, pushed further, "so, when you mentioned the five-star meal earlier, were you referring to yourself?"
your face turned an even deeper shade of red. "what? no!"
sana interrupted playfully, "come on, y/n, don't be shy. besides, if you think you're a five-star meal, who am i to argue?"
sana's expression softened, and she looked at you with a warmth that sent shivers down your spine. "you know, y/n, in case you were wondering, i don't mind at all."
still trying to process everything, you mumbled, "i... uh, i didn't think you'd notice."
sana winked, "i notice a lot more than you think. and i gotta say, it’s flattering. makes me feel special."
you couldn't help but smile, the tension easing. "well, i guess i can't hide anything from you."
sana leaned back, a thoughtful expression on her face. "you really shouldn't try to hide these things, y/n. life's too short for secrets."
you nodded, "yeah, you're right."
sana, with a glint of mischief in her eyes, issued a challenge. "y/n, can you say it?"
you were appalled. "say what?"
sana grinned, "that you like me. out loud."
you protested, "why do i have to say it? it's practically implied. i'm sure you know!"
sana, undeterred, playfully challenged her, "come on, y/n. it's different when you say it. try it."
you sighed, feeling cornered. "fine. i like you, okay?"
sana's eyes sparkled with amusement, and she teased, "such a charmer, y/n."
you rolled your eyes. sana, still wearing that playful grin, leaned even closer, placing a gentle kiss on your cheek. she smiled sweetly and said, "i have another challenge for you, y/n.”
"another challenge? what is it?"
sana's eyes gleamed with anticipation. "take me out on a date."
you couldn't help but blush, the realization sinking in. "are you saying... i have a chance?"
sana nodded, her gaze unwavering. "more than a chance, y/n.”
you felt a mix of excitement and disbelief, and managed a shy smile. "i never expected this."
sana leaned even closer, "i guess life is full of surprises, especially the ones that make your heart race a bit faster."
that’s when you realized that taking a chance on love – no matter how unconventional – can lead to the most extraordinary adventures (and to having the prettiest girlfriend in the room).
so, to anyone out there with a crush, just confess. you never know – you might end up with a girl like sana who thinks you're the missing piece to their puzzle. and if they reject you, just pretend it was a dare or blame it on a sudden urge for honesty. works like a charm.

Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley X Sunshine!Gf
Here is the same exact post with HE/HIM and THEY/THEM.
When they move in together, he provides the basic furniture whilst she spruces it up with plants, photos and random piles of cluter. Making it feel homey.
Shes always talking and Simon is happy to listen to whatever she is saying if it means he can hear her voice and stare into her eyes.
When in public, he’s always touching her, whether they are holding hands or his hand is pressed to the small of her back because she has the tendency to walk off and get lost if something has caught her eyes.
She is always playing some type of music and getting it stuck in Simon’s head. Which makes the rest if his team shook when he’s humming the tune of some pop song on base
She loves animals and BEGS Simon to get a cat, he says no over and over again. Just to surprise her with a black cat on her birthday. One that she happily called Ghost.
When she first saw Simon instead of Ghost, she was shocked. Gobsmacked even, she didn't say a word which nerved Simon. However, she did walk over to him and peck him on the lips before carrying on with her day. From then she would just constantly text him about how hot he is.
Would randomly boop him on his nose, she did it the first time she met the rest of the team and it turned him into a blushing mess. Making her fall into a fit of giggles.
My Little Note - I love Simon X Sunshine!Gf. - I will be posting 2 more versions of this, one for non-binary, and the other for he/him readers. They should both be out the same day that I'm posting this.
My asks are currently open so get the requests in, and check out my masterlist.
THANK YOU FOR READING ALL REBLOGS, LIKES AND COMMENTS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!

Session 3: Blocking In Color
It was nearly three weeks until you saw Leon again.
You tried to call him a couple days after he'd left that day, a few more times over the following week, but to no avail. The man was unreachable.
Even though you did your best to convince yourself that you just wanted to get his painting started, "It was an important one", you knew that you were really just worried about him.
You've seen this kind of dismay with the other retired agents that've had a portrait painted in the past, but they at least recognized what they'd been through.
Leon hasn't. You could just tell.
Looking over the sketches you made of his face, you couldn't help but wonder what exactly he'd been thinking about the last time he was here. He seemed so bothered, acting like he was hiding it so well, too.
Then again, you did drop a rather large bombshell on the guy while he was in a pretty vulnerable state, but you thought he knew what the portrait he was going to receive was suppose to mean. Again, most of the retired agents you'd seen were similar to Leon in that regard and even they at least had a basic grasp on the finality of it all. So why didn't he?
You nursed your bottom lip, still staring at the sketches laying in front of you while you sat at one of your desks in the corner. You normally don't come to your workspace unless you're actively painting, yet you'd shown up everyday in hopes Leon would randomly pop in. He seemed like the kind of guy to just kind of show up, anyways...
If you had just gotten a picture that day you've could've at least started working out the positioning for his portrait. Unfortunately, he wasn't in any position mentally to put up with anymore of your shenanigans at the time, it seemed.
You really did try your best to get ahold of Leon, eventually giving up a few days ago. You'd already emailed the President, who had been the one to personally commission you unlike with previous ex-agents, letting him know that it's going to be longer than expected. Thankfully he was understanding, knowing rather well how much the whole retirement thing was weighing on Leon.
You'll come back tomorrow and try again. Even the next day, and the day after that if you have to, and so on and so forth.
Guilty. That's all Leon felt right now.
He's been shelled up in his house since the moment he got home after leaving your building, withering away by the minute.
He hadn't showered, barely eaten, only ever really pulling himself from what little comfort his room offered to grab whatever bottle he touched first in the cabinet. Leon didn't care, just as long as it was something.
Chris had been over a couple times after he stopped responding to his messages, doing his best to get him out of the house. Claire had been over a few times more than her brother had, bringing groceries once she'd heard about the sad state Leon was keeping himself in.
It broke both their hearts, but they could only do so much for him. Leon was stubborn, head strong, he wasn't the kind to sway to many forces. He had somehow gaslit himself into thinking he was doing well. "Just peachy", even.
Clearly that wasn't the case, both Chris and Claire could see that. They'd have to be blind not to.
Having been in contact with Leon's government-assigned therapist, Chris tried to set up an at-home meeting for him one day. That turned out to be a disaster seeing as Leon was bordering on blackout drunk and could barely keep his eyes open. Not to mention the vomiting.
Claire even tried to bathe Leon. She only got far enough to wash his hair in his kitchen sink, using his vomit-covered mouth as an excuse to keep him over the sink long enough to shampoo his greasy, stringy hair.
All of it was weighing on him too much. He felt so guilty for making his friends feel like they had to babysit him, ignoring everyone's calls and messages, your calls and messages. That kind of thought process quickly spiraled into him reliving the worst days of his life, having to through suffer so many flashbacks and nightmares, not sleeping because of it. He rarely ever felt safe enough to get under the covers on his bed.
None of this is what he wanted. If it were up to him, he'd start all over; be twenty-one again, work as a cop, maybe get promoted a few times, find a girlfriend, start a family, have a normal life. Why couldn't he have that?
Staying awake night after night, Leon would stare at the ceiling in his bedroom and fantasize about the wonderful life he could've had, the happy memories he could've made. It would make him weep, longing for something that never could've been.
Instead, Leon was stuck with endless images of horror, death, and gore every time he blinked, and oh was he bitter about it all. So bitter, so angry, so...
Feeling sorry for himself was all he could do now. Sure, he killed all those monsters and zombies, saved all those people, not once did he think about himself through the years. Now he had all the time in the world to question and wonder, and having to think about himself and what he wanted most made him feel like a needy, greedy bastard.
But wasn't he allowed to be greedy, if only just a little? He had wants, needs, and though he wanted so desperately to change his past, he knew he couldn't. So, what did he want now? That, he didn't know.
Guilty for feeling this way, guilty for wanting different, guilty for wanting anything good for himself.
It took the better part of those two weeks for Leon to finally muster up some form of energy to stumble into his bathroom and shower one afternoon, dizzy and nauseous. The light emanating from the rest of his house was blinding, not having even bothered to close the shades he had on any of his windows. His room was kept a cave and that's where he stayed.
Leon now found himself sitting down in the shower just like before he'd decided to retire, only this time it was mostly to keep from slipping and dying. The last thing he needed anyone to see was him naked and dead in the shower. Embarrassing.
His thoughts at the moment were shallow, still pretty drunk from his bender, head lulling back and forth a bit as his vision spun. He was finally hungry again, the heat from the shower making that all the more obvious as he grew lightheaded, but he didn't know what he wanted.
After managing to actually crawl his way out of the shower, he dug through the pile of dirty laundry at the end of his bed, finding a pair of boxers that didn't smell too terrible to put on.
Leon used the wall heavily for support to walk out into his kitchen, muttering curses under his breath at just how bright it was. Opening his freezer, he stared at the meal prep containers left by Claire, grabbing one to attempt and read what she'd wrote on the sticky note attached to the lid.
That's right... She made him little meals, even putting them in the freezer so they didn't go bad as fast. All he had to do was put it in the microwave.
Simple enough, he could do that.
The one he chose was meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Just the sound of it had his stomach rumbling and his mind craving the comforting taste of a home cooked meal.
The first few bites in made Leon feel nauseous again, but once those bites hit his stomach the feeling immediately gave way to just how hungry he actually was.
He tried to pace himself, he really did try, yet he managed to devour the food in front of him in a matter of minutes, only pausing every few seconds to breathe. It felt so good, something warm in his stomach. Filling in all the right ways. Once he finished, he pushed the empty container away and just laid his head down sideways on the cool countertop, closing his eyes as he let the food settle.
As much as he wanted to degrade himself for acting this way, reducing himself to such a weird and pathetic state, Leon didn't have the mind to. All he knew right now was that the warmth that the meal Claire made him. Not to sound cliche, but he genuinely believed he could taste the love cooked into it.
For the first time in what was now two and a half weeks, Leon was awake and alert when Chris and Claire came over again. He'd eaten everything Claire made, holding all the now cleaned containers out to her. It was a silent plea for more, and lucky for Leon, she had just made another grocery trip for him.
Unbeknownst to him, Claire had been cooking here at his house. This entire time he thought she'd been bringing the meals over, assumed to be leftovers from cooking for her family. She did confess to hoping the smell of the food cooking would pull him from his room. It didn't, much to her dismay, but now she was just glad he was up and eating again.
As soon as Leon tried to apologize for dragging her away from her family, she was quick to shut him down with that mom stare she'd developed after having her kids. It worked, especially on him.
Chris was busy chatting up Leon while Claire cooked him another set of meals for the next week. It was hard to converse, but Leon did manage to nod and him as the other man talked about some random encounter he had the other day while out driving.
It was strange to feel so lively again. Those thoughts still clung to the back of his mind, though all he could focus on were his friends taking care of him like one of their own. Leon feels like he's been a terrible friend lately, seems as though the siblings standing in his kitchen didn't feel the same. He wasn't showing it, but Leon was definitely holding back a smile.
A couple hours had past, Chris opting to stay with Leon and eat lunch since Claire had to head back and help her husband with something.
The hug Claire gave Leon was phenomenal. After the hug he shared with you he's been craving that physical contact more than ever, so finally getting another good squeeze from a friend was boosting his mood.
Chris and him sat, ate, and talked about whatever came to mind, eventually asking about you.
"How's the painting coming along? Do you like the painter?" He smiled, looking at Leon with wide, curious eyes. That man always had a smile gracing his features.
Leon shrugged, taking a sip from the water he poured himself not too long ago. He was pretty dehydrated after solely drinking alcohol for the past couple weeks. "She's alright. Haven't started the painting yet."
Chris raised an eyebrow, placing his arms on the counter and crossed them as he leaned forward slightly. "Just 'alright'?" he emphasized the word "alright" with air quotes, which caused Leon to scoff.
"What else do you want me to say? I've seen her twice so far and its been fine." Leon lifted his hands up in confusion, palms facing the ceiling as he watched the man sitting next to him rolled his eyes dramatically. "C'mon, she was amazing for Claire and I- Okay, how about this..."
Chris repositioned himself so his entire upper body was facing him now, leaning in a little closer to ask another question. "Do you like the room she works in? Cause I thought it was pretty comfy. When she was focusing on Claire's part of the portrait, I took a nap over on that rug she had. All those pillows mixed with the classical music knocked me the fuck out."
He laughed, shaking his head at memory before looking over at Leon again. "So...? And don't lie to me, I saw that pillow on your couch."
Leon sucked on his teeth and hummed, glancing over his shoulder at his couch. "It's cozy, yeah." He brought his head back forward, patting his hands gently against the counter.
The two chatted for awhile longer before Chris eventually had to leave, giving Leon a firm pat on the shoulder while shaking him a bit. After he left, Leon was left to sit alone and think again, only difference now is he felt better. He was crazy tired, his social battery quickly drained from having his friends around, but he felt good nonetheless.
He wasn't ready at the time, yet after a sober night with solid sleep, Leon woke up the next morning and decided to just text you, hoping you weren't mad at him. Calling would've been too much at that moment, not even have listened to the voicemails you left, or anyone's, for that matter.
His chest felt tight after sending the text, but it was quickly eased about ten minutes later when you responded with nothing but enthusiasm. The smiley face you added at the end of your message made him smile, quickly wiping it away with his hand.
Your next session was arranged two days ahead of time in the late afternoon. Leon wanted to give himself enough time to recollect since he needed to look his best the following weeks. You told him it was time to start with the main painting, which you still needed a picture for.
During that time he finally shaved his stubble, went out and got his hair trimmed, tackled all the laundry he'd neglected, and got his best suit dry cleaned. All thoughts aside, he felt good and wanted to stay this way.
Needless to say, Leon was jittery when he pulled up to your workplace again. He was finally letting himself feel excited again about this painting. If it's anything close to what Chris and Claire's portrait is, then that excitement will only continue to grow the further along you get.
You were already there waiting for him at the door, a gentle smile on your face. That wonderful soft perfume that he missed reaching his nose once more as you lead him up the stairs and through the other door. Chris was right, if he had the opportunity, he'd take a nap on your rug. It looked mighty comfy.
Leon was thankful you didn't ask any questions on his whereabouts, he wasn't ready to talk. You were just as excited as he was about getting the painting started, if not more. Watching you eagerly move back and forth between the larger easel and your desks was a refreshing sight to the man.
You stood at your easel for a couple minutes, just silently looking from the blank canvas to where he was sat. You told him to get into a comfortable position, prompting him rest his right leg on his left knee, leaning back and to the side so he was sitting at a slight angle, arms resting on the chair's armrests.
You stared at him for a few seconds, tilting your head side to side with your eyes squinted. "Let me just-" you spoke in a hushed voice, walking over to Leon before cautiously reaching out to rest one hand on the underside on his chin while the other hovered over the side of his face.
You weren't an idiot, you knew what his absence was from. So you made sure to be careful with him, knowing he was probably still pretty fragile. Only gentle and cautious touches for Mr. Kennedy.
So close yet so far. His skin tingled in your hands wake, and god he hoped you couldn't notice his blush.
You could, but you wouldn't say anything. Besides, you weren't faring well yourself, hands a little shaky as you touched his face.
Leon just let you move his head to whatever position you wanted, his eyes now half-lidded as you had walked back a couple times to get just the right angle. You pulled away for a final time with a small "aha!" and he wished you would hold his head for just a little longer.
The floor where your easel sat was marked with an 'X' made with painter's tape, making it easy for you to stay in the right spot for the photo once you pushed the easel out of the way.
"Don't move." You held your hands up after analyzing his position, quickly hurrying over the corner opposite of your desks to grab a bulky camera that sat atop a tall tripod. You worked as fast as you could, knowing as long as you had a picture with him in this position then this whole process would go so much smoother.
You didn't even have to ask Leon to smile or look up at the camera since he was sitting there with a rather dopey smile, his eyes remaining trained right on yours. Nice and natural. He looked relaxed which is exactly what you wanted.
Just as a precaution, you took multiple pictures, giving him a thumbs up once you figured you'd gotten enough. His head back to rest on the chair at the okay, listening to the sound of you walk over to your laptop after untwisting the camera from the tripod. You printed out 3 copies of the photograph and taped one to a stand you had brought over to sit next to the easel, making sure it sat eye level to you.
The ball was finally rolling, now having what you needed to start with the main sketch. When Leon lifted his head up, he noticed that you were ready, sucking in a sharp breath through his nose while he shifted a little to get back in just the right position.
You twirled your pencil between your fingers before beginning to roughly sketch out the chair, eyebrows furrowing as you focused. Leon could see your expression, how intensely you zoned into your work. It was incredibly admirable and he found himself fully content in just watching you do your thing.
It didn't take long before you had sketched out his general shapes, now walking over to take the sketches you made of his face out of your sketchbook to clip up right next to the reference photo. The more finer details would be added later, but you wanted to get just the basic shapes of his face.
That didn't take long either, because before Leon knew it, you were telling him it was okay to talk. He was pretty animated with his hands when he talked, so you kept him quiet until now.
"Am I easy to draw?" Leon spoke with an almost sultry tone after a few seconds of you telling him he could speak. It threw you off only a bit, carding your fingers through your hair as you took one step back to look at what you had so far.
"I wanna say yes and no." You responded, catching his questioning look from the corner of your eye. "You're easy to sketch out, yes, but your hair is giving me trouble." You could hear a low chuckle rumble from his chest as you stepped back forward. "Hey, you asked." You laughed back.
"I know, I know." He shook his head with a poorly hidden grin, tilting his head down to try and hide it a little better. You immediately pointed your pencil at him, not taking your eyes off the canvas. "I said you could talk, not move." Your sarcastic tone made him chuckle again, slowly lifting his head back up with a sigh.
"Yes, ma'am." You could just hear the smirk in his words, causing you to let out a sigh of your own.
By the time the sun had started to set, you had blocked out all the simple colors for the painting. Right now, it just looked like a very bland and abstract painting. It'll come together, slowly but surely. Trust the process, as people say.
Leon was in awe already, having stood up to look at your progress as you washed your hands over in the small bathroom. Oil paints smeared something fierce and as much as you loved your job, you did not want feel oily at home.
"It already looks stunning." You heard the man say from where he stood in front of the easel. It wasn't quite registering in his brain that it was him on that canvas just yet, but hopefully soon it would.
He wanted to recognize himself in something as wonderful as your art.

[Robin scrambled over the back of the sofa and wedged himself beside Oscar, absently watching TV. Part of him hoped his father wouldn’t wake, but he was a notoriously light sleeper so the chances were slim. Sure enough, Oscar stirred, sleepily wrapping an arm around his son with a cosy hum] Oscar: Mmh-.. what time is it? Robin: I don’t know. Oscar: Late, then… [Robin shrugged a shoulder, the steady rhythm of his father’s heartbeat soothing his frayed nerves; he wished they could just stay like this forever-.. Oscar’s breathing softened as he threatened to drift off again though, reminding Robin why he’d clambered out of bed in the first place] Robin: Papa.. can I ask you something? Oscar: Anything. [Robin held his breath, readying himself for the inevitable barrage of Oscar’s unpleasant memories] Robin: Can you tell me the truth about what Larry said? I asked grandma, but she made me promise I’d ask you too-.. that you’d explain it better than her. Oscar: Is that what you’ve been thinking about this whole time? Robin: I don’t want you to die again… Oscar: I’m not going anywhere, I promise. Robin: You can’t exactly promise something like that. Oscar: I promise I’ll try my best not to, then. Robin: You still think about that sorta stuff though, don’t you? How do you know it won’t happen again? [Oscar sighed as he righted himself and settled Robin atop his knee, wondering what on earth Sidney had told him] Robin: She said you knew the risks-.. why’d you do it? Oscar: I wasn’t thinking straight-.. bit off more than I could chew. I was in a pretty bad place at the time. Robin: Why? Oscar: I like to keep things to myself, but it doesn’t do you any favours; I used to use all that nasty stuff to bury my feelings, to numb the pain it caused me to keep it all locked up n’ keep going. Robin: But everyone has secrets, don’t they? Oscar: They do, the fewer the better though-.. I think you’re as bad as me for bottling stuff up, but it’s so important to talk about things n’ let people help, ‘cause otherwise you’ll just end up finding unhealthy ways to cope instead. Robin: So, it happened by accident? Oscar: Yeah-.. it was pretty scary, to be honest. Robin: But it definitely wasn’t on purpose? Oscar: Sometimes I figured it’d be easier, but I didn’t want to die, no. Robin: I don’t want you to either, not ever. Oscar: It’s normal to be frightened of losing the people you love. Robin: Really? Oscar: Yeah-.. I used to worry about my grandad dying when I was your age. Sometimes it’d randomly pop into my head and I’d wonder what I’d do without him n’ get all pissy with everyone ‘til I could be alone, then I’d cry about it. [Robin felt a twinge of sadness yet smiled faintly, feeling slightly less weird for worrying so excessively] Robin: Sorry I asked grandma first… Oscar: It’s alright, being curious is normal too. [Oscar squeezed Robin tightly, semi-wishing he’d explained a little sooner; he was so mature for his age sometimes] Oscar: I’ll never ever be upset with you for asking questions, okay? There’s nothing you can’t talk to me about. Robin: I didn’t want to make you remember. Oscar: The past is what makes us who we are, buddy-.. I just hope I’ve made enough mistakes for the both of us…

CW: slight age gap (college sophomore reader x TA JJ), obsession, stalker behavior, smoking and drinking, possessive behavior, smoking & drinking, jealousy, smut, hair pulling, begging, degradation, she’s kind of mean ngl, ahem anyways …
"If anyone would like extra review for the final exam, JJ will be available during office hours this week to offer any assistance you might need,” your forensics teacher announced to the room, pointing to the graduate student acting as his TA for the semester. You had gotten to know her a bit and frequently spent office hours with her that started out as going over work but often drifted into gossip or other unrelated discussions. She typically wore her long blonde hair in a loose braid that fell down her back. You admired her intelligence greatly. Her ability to analyze communication and media publications, part of her specialty, was enticing to watch.
Many of the students in the class were already filtering their way out of the lecture hall, ready to crash after their last class of the day. You lingered for a moment so you could scribble down the times you could go find JJ later before eventually running out. J.J. caught your eye as you approached the door. Her eyes narrowed slightly, but her lips drew up into a smile, and she curled her fingers with a wave in your direction. You waved back quickly, watching her cross her arms over her chest as you left.
On your way back to the dorms, you flipped your hand over to see the times scrawled in pen on your skin. You figured it would be nice to see her as soon as possible and wanted to make it to her first available time. That gave you enough time to race back to your room, switch out your supplies, and maybe take a breath for a few moments.
You popped into your room, sharing a brief small talk with your roommate, who was on her way out to the library, but you were back out again as fast as you were in. JJ could always be found in the office of the professor she worked under. She had held many roles under his authority and not only depended on her but trusted her as well, so at this point, a part of the workload and part of the office basically belonged to her.
When you got there, the door was only up a crack, so you knocked and tentatively peeked your head in. JJ looked up from the pile of papers she was grading at her small desk in the corner and swiped her fallen bangs out of her face. "Hey hon, came just for me?” She teased, setting aside her papers as she turned her full attention to you.
You laughed, setting your notes down and pulling up a chair across from her. Before you could sit down, she dragged the chair onto her side of the desk, patting the seat. "Here, just so I don’t have to read your notes upside down. She smiled innocently, waiting for you to take your place beside her. Once you had settled yourself, you flipped through the pages of analysis and calculations in front of you, running your finger across the blue ink as you explained yourself. JJ occasionally leaned over to stop you, correcting a small error or elaborating on a concept you didn’t entirely understand beyond the basics of it. When she did, she rested her hand on your lower back, and she leaned in close enough that you inhaled the subtle scent of her vanilla perfume. You found it harder to focus under her touch but thought little of it.
Your phone kept buzzing on the table, and you were quick to flip it over, typing out a quick response. JJ silently grew annoyed. After a few too many messages shot back and forth, her eyebrows furrowed, and she poked around for information. "Who needs to get in touch with you that badly?” She spoke dryly but quickly laughed it off.
"Oh, sorry, I’m just looking for an apartment for next year. I’m going to check out an apartment with a friend later."You trailed off as you squinted at your screen before setting it down and refocusing your attention on JJ.
JJ sat tensely on the desk in front of you. Her face was in its usual soft and charming smile, which kept you distracted from any other of her mannerisms. While she was adept at detecting others' slight movements and tells, she was also scarily good at covering her own. “Which friend?”
“ Lola.”
JJ’s face soured at the name. There had been the slightest bit of shared feelings between you and Lola earlier in the year, but aside from a single night with "no strings attached,” nothing had happened. Whatever could’ve happened between the two of you evaporated, and you remained distant friends—that is, until you ran into her getting coffee and she discovered that you were also looking for an apartment. She suggested that the two of you look for one together; you had already been roommates freshman year, and it would be worth it to split the rent. JJ had been the one you discussed your fleeting on and off feelings with, always being an attentive listener, but JJ didn’t like her. She didn’t tell you that, but she was also far from gushing over her that you kind of got the hint.
"Oh, well, if a place is all you need, baby, then you could stay with me. My roommate is finishing her master’s this semester, and I’ll have an empty room,” JJ suggested, eager to interrupt the idea of you and Lola living together.
You didn’t think she was serious at first. She was at a much different place in her life, getting ready to head into the FBI while you weren’t even sure what you wanted to do yet. She was like a mentor to you. She had always been supportive and became a great confidante. Maybe you would be better off with her than Lola. Why would JJ suggest it if it wasn't a good plan? "That's sweet. I’m still going to go check out the place with her tonight, but if anything falls through, I’ll consider it."
JJ watched you attentively, rolling her bottom lip between her teeth as you packed up your things. Your phone kept buzzing on the desk, and she grew subtly more frantic as you were getting closer to leaving. "Hey, would you mind grabbing my phone? It’s under the papers on that filing cabinet.” She pointed across the room while her other hand drifted to her back pocket. You turned around and started digging through the stacked papers she had directed you to. JJ smoothly pulled out her phone from where she had felt its weight in her back pocket the entire time you had been here and snapped a photo of the two addresses appearing on your home screen from Lola. Knowing you would quickly turn around without her phone, she stood up quickly out of her chair that had been squeaky all semester and dropped her phone under her desk.
You turned around, ready to tell her that you didn’t see it, but she was already crouched on the ground, plucking it up off the floor underneath her desk. "Nevermind, I found it. I must have dropped it.” She smiled vacuously, in a way that only fooled strangers, unaware of her intelligence.
"Oh, good! Thank you so much for your help. I’ll see you in class Friday.” You waved on your way out as JJ called out a goodbye while crossing her legs and rocking slightly in her chair. As soon as the door closed with a click, her face fell into a look of cold determination, and she switched taps on her laptop. Typing in the address, her lips curled upward at the information she found. It was a fairly new apartment complex, right outside the school’s campus, meaning there would be plenty of showings going on and people in and out all day long.
She put the address into her phone and parked at the convenience store next door. It was surprisingly easy to slip into a side door that was left open for construction workers working on the other half of the building. She had been fully prepared to go in, flirt with whoever would fall for it in the lobby, and hope it worked out.
Afraid of being stuck in an elevator with someone who might catch on to the fact that she wasn’t supposed to be here, she opted to take the stairs up to the third floor. She found that apartment number that you’d be touring in half an hour and passed it, slipping into the empty one next door. As she passed other rooms, she was relieved to see that other apartments in the hallway were already occupied by residents. Her plan instantly became more believable.
She shut the door behind her, surveying the room. The heels of her boots clicked across the wooden floors, echoing in the unfurnished place. Walking up the thin wall that would soon separate you, she placed her hand up to it. Knocking raptly, she smiled when she heard the echo on the other side. JJ had heard every step and creak from her neighbors in her first apartment. The echo guaranteed that you would experience the same when you arrived with Lola. Even the thought of the girl left a sour taste in JJ’s mouth, causing her to grit her teeth.
Sliding down the wall, she sat beside the vent. Digging through her purse, she picked out a pack of cigarettes and a small red lighter. She wasn’t a frequent smoker but had a history of using one or two when her emotions overwhelmed her to the point where they made her sick to the stomach; Or, in this case, they were simply convenient. A lot of her plan relied on small details working in her favor. Since she arrived, every time part of her plan was reassured, her body relaxed with an increase in confidence. The second she approached the wall, she recognized the smell of new paint. The walls of the room she was in were dusty in beige paint, along with visible chips and dents. It was not newly painted, but a newer room just about to be shown to potential clients? Would be. Sound and scent both went through the walls. It was all she needed.
She occasionally heard footsteps pass and then fade away, but nobody bothered to stick their heads into a room that was supposed to be empty. She dully entertained herself by watching the clouds of smoke that left her lips. She had always paid close attention to every personal detail that had left your mouth, including your subtle complaints about everything smelling of smoke when you had been sharing a room with Lola.
Her attention peaked when she heard a trio of footsteps and two familiar voices outside the door. She quickly pushed herself up off the floor, rolling her eyes at the sound of Lola’s raspy voice, followed by your laughter. Wandering into the small kitchen area, she boosted herself up onto the counter and placed her phone against the wall. She hit play, sending music blasting from her so loudly that it vibrated against the wall. A grin flashed across her face at the grating sound. She had picked a playlist of music she hadn’t listened to since she was seventeen and very angry.
She lingered in the place for about fifteen minutes and could hear you and Lola being shown around the place, but not well enough to comprehend what anyone was saying. She could follow your voices, knowing when you got closer to the door. Her hope peaked at the quickness with which you were in and out of the apartment, under the assumption that you had disliked it. She waited five minutes after hearing you leave to exit out of the building the exact way she had entered, grinning to herself as she drove off to the next address she had plucked off your phone.
Her eyes darted to the short black dress hanging in the back of her car that she could see in the rearview mirror. She had become an expert at changing and getting ready in the back of her car ever since her recent internships with the BAU. Once she had changed out of a crewneck and pair of sweatpants and fixed her hair, she moved her car into a corner parking spot behind the bar, just in case you recognized her car right away. She wanted your interaction to seem more accidental.
Sure enough, when you entered the dimly lit bar moments later with Lola by your side, you backtracked at the sight of familiar blonde hair. You approached JJ tentatively, still unsure if it was her, where she was ordering a drink with her back turned to you. “JJ?”
She turned around, her face breaking out in calculated excitement. “Hi! What are you doing here? How’d the apartment thing go?” She started firing off questions, inviting you to sit on the stool next to her while also ignoring Lola’s existence.
“We decided to stop for drinks after. It didn’t go so well. The place felt unwelcoming. You could hear everything from loud neighbors, and the rooms had a weird smell."
She pretended to act both surprised and disappointed at this information, all while buying you a drink. “Aw, I’m sorry, hon. Well, like I said, my offer still stands."
You were much more willing to consider the idea now that your first place wasn’t looking as good as it seemed. At this point, Lola, who was tired of being in the background, crossed the room to accept a drink offer from a guy who had been staring at her since she had walked in. You decided to stay with JJ.
She thanked the bartender, who handed two glasses across the counter and then slid one over to you. You felt a bit more nervous sitting across from her than usual. She was much more intimidating in this setting than when she was happily helping you out in the corner of a classroom.
She wore a simple black dress, elevated with gold jewelry that fell against her ample cleavage. She also had rings to match on both hands that glinted under the hanging yellow lights as she gripped her glass. A smoky eye shadow was brushed over her lids, accentuating her bright blue eyes. She swirled the drink in front of her, watching ice cubes clink against the sides before she took a sip.
You sat talking for some time, not much differently than you usually did, but eventually her demeanor changed. She pivoted around on her stool so that her knees rested outside of your legs and leaned in closer to talk to you. Occasionally, her hands left the countertop to brush against your thigh, but she didn’t draw attention to it. You frowned as her eyes suddenly darkened at something over your shoulder and turned to find Lola sauntering back over with the same main from earlier wrapped around her arm.
"Hey babes, I’m leaving, would you be okay finding a ride?” Lola leaned in so that you could hear her over the overlapping chatter, and she seemed to be begging you to say yes with her eyes. Before you could reply, JJ volunteered without hesitation.
"I'll take her; you can leave.” As soon as the words left her mouth, she turned back towards you, waiting for Lola to leave. Lola had sensed the blonde’s dislike of her since they first met and was eager to get away from her, so she quickly turned around and headed toward the door without another word to you.
You and JJ remained in your corner of the bar, gradually becoming more rowdy with a second round of drinks, and JJ’s hands spent more time on your body. As promised, when you were ready to head out, JJ shielded you through the crowds of people until you slipped into the brisk air. She ran her warm hands up and down your arms, erasing the goosebumps that had risen from the cold. She mumbled something about her car being parked around the back and steered you around the corner of the building. Her jacket was draped over her arm, and she unfolded it, setting it across your shoulders. You were too unfocused, climbing into the passenger's seat of the car, to notice the unfamiliar scent of clothes that lingered on her clothes. JJ hovered over the car door, shielding your head from hitting the roof with her hand as you climbed. She shut the door behind you, walking around to the driver’s side. “Are you on Lotus Ave?” She asked, looking over at you as she pulled out of the parking lot.
"Ugh, yes,” you groaned, dropping your head back against the seat with the realization that your place was 30 minutes across town. You were used to being in places within walking distance, but you had followed Lola to this bar since you were already out of the apartment anyway.
JJ laughed at your disappointment. "Well, I’m 2 blocks away if you want to just spend the night, and I’ll drive you back in the morning. Maybe stop for breakfast,’ she suggested casually, gripping the wheel.
That didn’t sound terrible. Crashing in her apartment sounded like a much more comforting idea than a longer car ride in the dark and having to deal with whoever you might run into on your way back up to your dorm. "Actually, that sounds nice,” you said softly, and JJ quickly rerouted, turning onto her street.
Leading you upstairs, she dug around for a minute to find her keys and unlock the door. You shrugged off her jacket, handing it back to her with thanks, and she hung it up by the door. You both immediately crashed on the couch with sighs, kicking your shoes. Lola texted you to double check that you were alright, and JJ’s face hardened as you picked up your phone.
The wall that she had so carefully built up over the years to hide her true emotions fell, and impulsivity overwhelmed her. You were startled as she snatched the phone out of your hand, tossing it on the coffee table. “ Hey!” Before you could finish, her lips were on yours, and you happily sank into the kiss. "JJ,” you said, out of breath and shock.
She tilted her head, pressing her lips harshly against your neck and below your ear. Her mouth left a trail of soft purple marks and smeared lipstick posessively across your skin. “God, I’ve been so patient... waiting for you to get over those stupid little sluts, hoping you’d realize that I could treat you so, so much better.” Her voice had dropped into a raspier, coarser octave that made your stomach flip, but you were enjoying her touch too much to interrupt her. "That was silly of me, I should’ve known you would’ve needed to show you that, and now I can.” She straddled your waist, putting pressure on your shoulders so that you’d lay back underneath her. Her fingertips ghosted against your collarbone as she tugged the sleeves of your shirt over your shoulders.
Having such an ethereal, powerful woman loom over you left you breathless for a moment. "You've thought about this before tonight? Tell me how.” Your lips quirked up into a smile as you looked up at her.
Her eyes roamed across your body as she formed her words. "I've thought about those days that you sat between my legs in the office, oblivious to everything. And how I would’ve liked to wrap your hair around my hand and bend you over my desk, fucking you senseless until my name is the only word that's falling from your lips over and over again. I’ve imagined leaving marks all over your skin, in hopes that it will be a reminder that I’m the only one who gets to touch you,’ she had leaned in over you, her breasts pressed against you as she spoke into your ear, causing your breath to hiccup.
She pinched your chin between two fingers, running her thumb across your bottom lip. "Prove it” fell from your lips, barely above a whisper, and flipped a switch in JJ, entirely spurring her on.
In seconds, she had yanked off your clothes, dropping them to the floor. Roughly flipping you over, she pressed your face down into the pillow, silencing your gasps. "Don't move,” she commanded. You heard her cross the room and quickly return.
Positioning your body how she wanted it, her hands gripped your hips roughly, pulling them up. She dragged her nails up your spine and laughed menacingly as you yelped when she grabbed your hair. Your entire body tensed, back arching, as the tip of her strap brushed against your ass before teasingly sliding down across your folds.
Tugging your hair, she yanked your head closer to her. "Be as loud as you want, baby. It’s a shame nobody can hear you through these walls. I’d love for them to know how easy it is to get you begging for my cock,’ she chuckled, before unexpectedly and roughly thrusting into your cunt. She kept a tight grip on your hips, holding you up against her so that she could hit deeper inside of you and elicit more moans that you attempted to muffle into the pillow in front of you.
You bit down on your tongue in an attempt to be quiet, the noise she was getting from you was almost embarrassing, and tears formed in the corner of your eyes. JJ leaned down, swiping the drop off your cheek with her finger, a contrastingly gentle action. The sound of skin slapping skin filled the room.
Your nails dug into the cushion in front of you, and your thighs clenched as you neared an orgasm. "Fuck JJ,’ you panted as flashes interrupted your vision.
Her response came back cold and unaffected. "Beg me, beg me to let you come,’ she demanded, rhythmically continuing the thrusts of her hips. You were hesitant to ask for such a thing, let alone beg for it, to give her permission and control over your entire body. One hand drifted up to your chest, and she pinched your nipple, rolling it between the pads of her fingers. The stimulation was not helping your resistance, and a whimper escaped you.
Please, I need you to let me come. I’ll do anything, please please,” You started rambling mindlessly, desperate to do anything as long as you could finish this orgasm.
JJ smiled at your instant obedience and was satisfied. Her hand snaked around your body and between your legs. A shaky scream erupted from your throat as she curled two fingers against your clit. You quickly fell over the edge. Your vision danced in and out as you orgasmed, and your legs quivered, eventually giving out. You came on JJ’s pink strap and fingers. She slowly removed herself from inside you and brought her fingers to your mouth. Forcing your lips apart, she pressed two fingers to your tongue. You closed your lips around them, and her eyes glinted as you sucked them clean. “Good girl.” She flipped her hair over her shoulder, smiling as if she were victorious.
The rest of the night was a blur. You were exhausted. You briefly remembered an attempt to clean yourself up with JJ’s help but ended up falling asleep right where you were. JJ, much more alert than you, was also schemingly the first to wake up the next morning when your phone rang. Her eyes darted to you, relieved to find that you were still sprawled across her bed, where she had carried you, and you fell dead asleep in the living room. She was relieved to find your eyes still closed, fluttering with dreams. Reaching for your phone, she had no hesitation about picking it up. "Hello,” she answered softly.
"Hi Y/N, this is Elise from yesterday. I’m calling back about the apartment, room 505?”
"Oh yes, of course. Thank you so much. Actually, Elise, about that..."

Johnny Slaughter - Dirt Road
Phew, okay my first ever x reader...ever! I've been so obsessed with Johnny that I had to add my own take on his character. Bear with me, I normally don't do this type of writing. However, I hope to continue to improve. Any feedback or constructive criticism is welcome!
This idea randomly popped into my head and I'm not even sure how to characterize it. A night with Johnny pulled over on the side of an old country road. I experimented with a more hesitant, nervous reader. Again, this is all new to me.
Warnings- Dub-con, unsafe sex, semi-public sex, Johnny's mean, nervous/unsure reader, cunnilingus, focuses more on the reader's inner thoughts, unhealthy dynamics, light slapping, a lot of neck grabbing, Johnny is a litterbug, smoking, name-calling
Tumblr media
Red, orange, and yellow streaked across the sky as the sun set deep into the flat horizon. The dirt road he drove down kicked up dust that swirled in circles, disappearing behind them just as quickly.
She laid her head against the seatbelt dispenser, looking out of the rolled-down window. His old white truck hummed as they drove farther and farther out of town. She counted each passing house, fantasizing about the lives of the people who lived in them. What did they do? How many people live there? Do they have kids? What-
"Darlin'" a deep voice cut through her hazy thoughts.
She turned her head to the man driving the old white truck. His right hand was gripping the steering wheel with a bit too much force, while his left lay loosely on top of the stick shift. He was smirking, like usual. He reminded her of a wolf like he could eat her up at any second.
"Are you alright?" his accent thick, the words lazily slipped from his lips.
"Yeah…I was just thinking" she said, turning back to the open window. Allowing the cool wind to hit her face.
He frowned once she looked away, rolling his eyes a bit. His left hand moved from the shift to her thigh, giving it a firm squeeze.
She didn't look at him after that, getting lost again in her wishful thinking. Counting each house one by one by one.
She gasped slightly opening her eyes, the sky was dark and she could hear the crickets and frogs chirping. She must have fallen asleep. They were stopped on the side of the road. She could only see vast fields that stopped at the dark tree line. The only light was from the moon and the dull headlights of the truck.
She turned toward the driver's seat. He was out of the car, leaning against the closed driver-side door.
"Johnny…" she said quietly. She knew he couldn't hear her, she almost didn't want him to. But nonetheless, she opened the passenger side door and walked around the truck to stand next to him. He was smoking a cigarette, Marlboro Reds, his favorite.
"What are you doin? Why'd we stop?" she asked looking up at him. He was so tall, that sometimes she felt like she had to crane her neck just to look into his eyes.
He looked down at her and smirked. "Just stopped for a smoke. Got tired of drivin'" he said, grabbing her waist to pull her into his side. He blew the smoke in her direction.
Coughing, she nuzzled into his side, shielding her face from the smoke. She always hated the smell of cigarettes. Recently, though, they were almost a comforting smell. It clung to her clothes, hair, skin, a small reminder of him.
He leaned against his truck, his head tilted up towards the sky. He stared at the stars, expressionless.
"So…how far are we from your family's house?" she asked, breaking the steady silence, craning her head up to look at his face. She held the hand that was gripping her waist, rubbing small circles into his rough skin.
He hesitated. Something he never does, she even took notice. After a long pause, he grunted. "I dunno, maybe another day's drive?"
She didn't pry after that, she didn't want to make him upset. His family was seemingly a very touchy subject, despite him bringing up the idea of taking her there to meet them.
After a while, he threw the butt of his cigarette on the ground stepping on it. He looked down at her, she was still nestled into his side, her eyes now closed.
He chuckled a bit and grabbed her waist leaning her against the driver's side door. Her eyes flew open. "Now hun, I don't think it's fair I'm drivin' all this way and you get to sleep" He hummed out, leaving a trail of kisses down her neck.
"H-hey! I offered to drive you said no" she pouted, wrapping her arms around his waist, pulling him closer to her.
"I can't trust you driving my truck." He scoffed looking down at her. He moved his finger under her chin, pushing it up so she was staring directly at him. "You're just a dumb little girl huh?" He chuckled. A wolf smirk adorned his lips. His words were always laced with degradation. Like he got off on hurting her feelings.
She gave him a pout and stared at him. She was always starstruck at his sharp features. So classically handsome. He reminded her of James Dean. She loved watching those old movies with her dad back home. What was her dad up to? She made a mental note to call him once they arrived at Johnny's home.
He must have noticed her drifting off, he gave her cheek a rough pat. "Focus darlin', I'm not done with you just yet." His hand drifted under her white tank top, his hands stopped just below her breasts.
"Jo-Johnny…" she stuttered out, shivering from his cold hands. "N-not here… It's dark. What if someone sees…" her voice was laced with nervousness.
He scoffed and pulled his hands away. "You're no fun. C'mon…we can go back in the truck, no one will see I promise" He opened the door and lifted her into the truck, so she was sitting with her legs dangling off the seat, facing the outside. His hands were on either side of her, caging her in. She was now looking down at him.
She bit down on her lip slightly, nervous playing with her hands in her lap. She looked into the darkness behind him. Nothing but a cornfield.
He scoffed a bit and played with the buttons of her shorts. "How bout this…" he stopped, smirking up at her before he continued "I'll be a gentleman and help you out first huh?" his calloused hands yanked down her shorts, his arms hooking underneath her knees pulling her closer to him.
She gasped a bit and grabbed onto his shoulders for support. Her eyes were blown wide, and she frantically looked around, worried about someone seeing her in such a vulnerable position.
He grins widely at her nervous state. "You're too cute" he said mockingly as he leaned down, kissing the inside of her thighs. His hand traveled up to her soaking cunt. He gave it a firm slap before looking up at her face.
Her eyes screwed shut as she began breathing heavily. She felt a warm pulsing in her lower belly. "Now look at that…" Johnny gave a low whistle looking at her wet cunt. "Soakin' wet and I barely even touched you" his words were harsh and mocking. He gave her a long lick up her weeping slit.
She gasped, her back arching into him. "F-fuck…m-more…" she whined out, her hands finding their way into his thick hair. His eyes narrowed and he looked up at her pulling away. He grabbed her neck and glared at her, first warning. "Is that any way to ask me, hun?" He smirked at her "Beg nicely, slut"
"J-Johnny please…" her words trailed off, her eyes tearing up in embarrassment, She felt his grip tighten around her neck. "Please! Please…I'll be good!" He hummed slightly, seemingly satisfied with her half-attempt at begging. He began licking and sucking on her swollen clit. Keeping her steady by gripping her thighs.
She cried out as his tongue traveled into her. Her eyes shifted down to him, his face buried in between her thighs, his eyes shut as he worked her. He was eating her with such force. He hummed a bit as he plunged his tongue deeper into her, creating a vibration that made her shake.
He looked up at her, her eyes were shut again. He reached a hand up and grabbed her throat, all while his face was buried in her cunt. Her eyes shot open. She noticed his glare and her breathing hitched. Second warning. "Eyes on me" he said, his voice muffled.
His frantic sucking and licking continued once her eyes were fully locked on him. He reached his hand down and slipped two fingers into her. He curled them up into her rapidly. She felt a blazing sensation in her lower stomach, and her legs began to shake at the sudden entrance. "I…I'm gonna cum!" she moaned out loudly and flew a hand over her mouth in an attempt to quiet her moans. He let out a muffled chuckle as he felt her come undone in his mouth.
He slowly pulled back. His mouth and chin glistened from her arousal. She stared at him and let out a breathy laugh, her eyes hazy and unfocused. He looked so handsome like that. He stared back at her and grabbed her neck, pulling her in for a rough kiss. She could taste herself on his tongue.
He broke the kiss and gripped her chin "What do you say darlin'" His smirk was wide. "Thank you" she breathed out, laying back, trying to catch her breath.
Johnny grabbed her waist and set her back into the passenger seat. He climbed into the truck and shut the door. She panted and laid against the window staring up at the stars. Her mind felt misty.
Johnny stared at her and rubbed the bulge in his tight jeans. He hardly ever worried about just her pleasure. He always needed something in return. He grabbed her thigh "Aren't you forgettin' something doll?" he said leaning back, his hand fiddling with his belt, trying to undo it. She stared out the window, ignoring him. She couldn't look away from the millions of stars lighting up the night sky.
He scoffed a bit and grabbed her neck, yanking her towards him, into his lap. "I'm gettin' tired of you not listenin' to me" he growled out pulling out his throbbing cock, final warning. He set her in his lap and glared at her. She gasped, staring at him, her eyes wide with fear. "I'm…I'm sorry-"
"Show me that you're sorry" he stroked himself a couple of times before easing her down on his cock. Her eyes widened at the feeling of him filling her so suddenly. He didn't let her adjust, he just began thrusting up into her, while gripping her neck. Keeping her in place.
She held onto his shoulders, her head kept hitting the top of the truck as he thrust into her. She whined out and tried to move her head into the crook of his neck but he stopped her. "Nooo you're gonna look at me while I fuck you, slut" he snapped pushing her head back.
Her head hit the roof, over and over again. Each thrust burned. She stared at him, his eyes were so dark, she could barely even see him due to the darkness of the surrounding country road. She knew he was smirking, getting off on her discomfort. She was lucky he even decided to pleasure her first, she should be grateful, right?
“Fuckkk” he groaned out lowly as he continued his brutal thrusts into her. “You’re my good girl huh?” His hands traveled to her face, pulling her down to kiss him roughly. She whined a bit at this but kissed him back anyway. The stretch of his cock was becoming too much to bear. She prayed he would finish soon.
She found herself focusing on the scar that ran down his face, subtle but there. It was a way she feigned eye contact with him, she found that keeping unbreaking eye contact with him was almost impossible. His thrusts became jagged and sloppy. A small moan escaped his lips that he quickly covered with a loud chuckle. “I’m gonna fill you up real good darlin’”
Despite the intense burning, she felt herself coming close to the edge as well. She was able to sneak down a hand to rub her clit, Johnny was too worried about himself to stimulate her like that. “Please…please…” she begged, tears streaming down her face. She didn’t know if she was begging to finish or for him to stop.
With a loud groan, Johnny thrust back up into her one more time, releasing his hot load deep inside her sore cunt. She let out a loud moan as she came undone as well, shivering at the feeling of him filling her up. She collapsed into his chest, the top of her head aching.
He let out a laugh before setting her beside him, he cleaned himself off with some napkins from the glove department, tossing them carelessly out the window.
She shook as she looked out the window again, looking up at the stars again. 1…2…3… she counted, trying to distract herself from the sickly feeling of his cum dripping out of her. Without another word from him, she felt the soft rumble of the truck as he started it back up. Continuing, farther and farther out of town.
