I’m just curious, how long did it take you to gain such a big following? any tips for newer blogs? I mean idrc if I’m “popular”/how many likes I get I just wanna be big enough to create a lil degenerate community on my blog lol
i started this account in april of 2023 and i currently have 7.8k. so i mean its been a minute LOL
i mean i feel like what got me followers quicker was because i just don’t ever stop yapping. always am posting like ALWAYS. so. i think posting alot helps LOL
i thinks that’s like it. just write and eventually you’ll gain followers me thinks? idk
it took me until like i got to around 1-2k where i finally got a lot of interactions + asks. but ik some blogs have a smaller following and get tonsssss of asks. it all just depends
ik u wanna a community on ur blog, which is understand completely, but make sure you don’t post/do things for followers. creates toxicity

thank you very much it really means a lot that people actually care about this thing i made! this au came to my head when i was reading a bunch a fics in which the real world friend group could interact with headspace, because there’s so much that they don’t even know and i found it satisfying how they would react to what sunny was going through. personally, that was the itch that works like "It Really Works!", "Friends by Your Side, Within and Without" , and that one fic where kel gets a hard drive and plays the game as we do (IF SOMEONE FINDS IT PLEASE GIMME) were scatching, so check those out if you will, and share with me anything similar you enjoy! i prolly won't read it but add it to my endless pile of ao3 tabs :9

love being in charge of thanksgiving dinner i taste tested the turkey and went god damn this is the worst bird ive made to date by far but no skin off my back. then dinner rolls around and people are begging me to open a restaurant
#abrahim: im sorry but the cranberry sauce was a little too spicy this year#me (agrees): thats ok barby#abrahim 20 minutes later: actually after having a little more i changed my mind it’s really good#i should use this power for evil or something#woof#guest: the bird is SO moist#me: it’s like drywall actually but thanks?#what fucking thanksgiving dinners have you people been having. jesus christ#anyway here’s a rundown of the dinner.#potato leek soup: what it says on the tin. blended to a puree. the secret ingredient is curry powder and i#dress it with a basil infused EVOO drizzle and top with crispy bacon.#turkey: i brine in an orange-apple cider vinegar-white onion-cinnamon-star anise brine for at least overnight#then cover in a compound butter of rosemary sage oregano and garlic#aromatics in the cavity#the cranberry sauce is made with orange juice star anise and cinnamon.#i also repurposed some of#the cranberry sauce this year to infuse into my candied pomelo rinds#the mashed potatoes are mashed potatoes. idk I hate cooking potatoes I didn’t do anything special there#just a fuckton of butter. it’s meant to be a canvas for the rest of the food anyway.#zayn was in charge of veg because he is a veg god. he did brussel sprouts and roasted sweet potato#and both were a highlight for lots of people. he keeps things simple too but he just knows what herbs and spices to use#he’s so so good at keeping things healthy which imo is a greater accomplishment than what i do#all of my siblings are amazing cooks#oh and for dessert I ordered a lemon lavender cake for Zayn’s birthday and picked up pumpkin and pecan pies. barby brought eggnog

What's on your version of The Best Sandwich? Or soup if you don't like sandwiches.
Okay first off you need a thick, soft bread of any kind, I typically go white or seeded if I’m feeling adventurous. Grilled halloumi. Smoked ham, slightly pan fried OR bacon. Sriracha sauce. And if you feel like it add any more cheese of your choice, I like some mozzarella to make it ooey googy.Then you toast that bad boy.
Serve that bitch so hot you burn 90% of your mouth.
For soups I’m a big fan of a simple miso. But one of the best soupy ramens I’ve ever eaten was one with miso glazed cod, steamed scallops and mini octopus in a spicy broth with menma, green onion kimchi and peas. Delightful.
