Hiya, Magical Cuties!! Me be Rini - the lil queer clown that runs this circus. A lot has happened to my family, leading to me being stuck in a very emotionally and financially draining situation. The income from my job (in which my hours have been cut dramatically) and passive income from this blog isn’t quite enough to supplement the income that was recently lost. Any goals of dental work and moving out of state for my mental health have been halted and helping my family pay bills/debts is now the priority.
As a result, I’m selling off new/unused to lightly used clothing from my family’s closets, which include both “feminine” and “masculine” clothing that range from sizes XS-5XL with a lot of it $10-20 and under. I list on multiple platforms (vinted, depop, mercari and poshmark) and graciously accept donations, all of those links can be found here!! Everything needs to go ASAP!!
Tumblr shadowbans posts with links, so reblogs are greatly appreciated too!! Many thanks in advance! <3

“I’m wearing an antique quilt jacket from Feur De Flea in Louisville, KY, vintage Evan-Picone pants, vintage Camper boots, vintage beret, and a secondhand H&M blouse. I love color, and mixing patterns and textures in a whimsical way. If it makes me smile, I notice others tend to smile as well. If I’m going to a party with lots of strangers, I tend to wear something that could be an icebreaker. Plus, I try to find everything secondhand! Then I’m more likely to be able to afford it.”

Time for more mending! I got this shirt over the weekend at a vintage festival (I got more clothes from the vintage fest). When I got it I didn't know that the second to last button was missing, which is an easy fix. Then when I was washing it the third button from the top fell off. I managed to save it!

Picture of the missing button spots.
Left: the Top one - Right: the bottom one

Then the bottoms I am using. One is a replacement and the other is the original.
Tumblr media
Fixed the top one! With it's original button! I had to redo it when I noticed that I sewed the button upside down so it didn't match the other original buttons.
Tumblr media
Then I fixed the second with the replacement button I already owned!

All finished and fixed!

Look I get that the avg person wants to give back and give their old stuff to places that need it instead of like goodwill. And that’s cool. But sometimes ur old stuff is garbage and that children’s toy drive has no idea what to do with stained broken toys. The amt of times we’ve gotten cool puzzles donated with missing pieces, electronic toys with swollen corroded batteries that dont turn on, clothes that are pilled up and worn too thin/have holes or impossible stains. Like that’s a normal occurrence. If you wouldn’t hand it down to a friend or relative to play with/wear, why do you think anyone else wants it or has use for it.
Also: people in need may need clothing but they also do not want to wear ur used underwear. When ur giving away clothes please just put in the effort to go through things before sending them off to strangers. I don’t wanna go through ur old underwear 😭. Some places will take ripped stuff for scrap fabric but if you know the donated item is only going directly to people, take the damaged stuff out. Ur making more work for the people actually distributing the items.
TLDR giving ur trash to someone else is not always better than just throwing it away. Use ur brain instead of just dumping stuff off on someone else.

As fashion statements go, Ugandan-based designer Bobby Kolade’s new collection is as bold as they come.
The mish mash of stitched-together panels holds an unequivocal message, one that’s printed loud and clear on the label of his one-off garments: Return to sender. Materials sourced from secondhand clothes from the global north.’
Kolade’s first collection under his Buzigahill brand is made up entirely of clothes sent to Uganda for ‘recycling’ by countries like the US and UK. Repurposed and refashioned by Kolade’s six-strong team, Buzigahill is sending them back to where they came from.
“We feel there’s a kind of clothing dictatorship, coming from the global north to us,” said Kolade. “By sending things back, we are responding with a clear, proud message: we’re not just the dumping ground. We have the potential to produce, we have the potential to create.”

Hiya, Magical Cuties!! As some of y’all may know, my name is Rini, the queer clown running this circus of a shopping blog. I've been going through a lot of emotional and financial turmoil. Through a series of unfortunate events, my family has lost half of our income, and we are heavily struggling with paying every possible bill. It was my intention to get my much needed dental work out the way on the final year of being on insurance and move out of state but I don't think that's feasible anytime soon anymore. My income from my job and passive income from this blog isn't quite enough to supplement the income that was lost.
As a result, I’m selling off new/unused to lightly used clothing from my family's closets, which include both “feminine” and “masculine” clothing that range from sizes XS-5XL with a lot of it $10-20 and under. I list these items on multiple platforms (vinted, depop, poshmark and mercari) and graciously accept tips, all of those links can be found here!! Everything needs to go ASAP so my family and I can downsize!! I’d really appreciate it so much if you could check out my shop and consider purchasing. Tumblr shadowbans posts with links, so reblogs are greatly appreciated too!! Many thanks in advance! <3

I have some clothes for sale! 🌙
I’m moving really soon and everything must go. I’d rather these go to a good home than collect dust in a Goodwill (or a landfill)!
There’s different prices on each app depending on how much they take in fees - so there’s several pricing and shipping options for every budget. Lmk if you have any questions ✨
