Also I included pics of 8-10 yr old me I got obsessed with lilo and stitch when I was 8 and got my first stitch plush and the rest is history

Lately I’ve been in a art funk as you can see I haven’t posted glitch cats for months. It’s been

Hard to get motivation or to make art at all. I’ve been on a huge stitch eBay merch craze lately since Christmas and my birthday so my collection has been growing and decided to try and draw the little guy again

I will admit I’m not a pro at drawing him like I was in 2018 I do still have to use some reference but I’m getting better at drawing him slowly

I have finally acquired more Leroy themed merch from eBay as you all know he is also my fave L&S character do I decided to put him in there in celebration of being able to order the new primark Leroy plush yesterday it’s only sold in EUROPE- which I could never get if it wasn’t for eBay (leroy isn’t sold in the US only UK and Japan

The two stitches on top are based on my real exclusive authentic 2000’s plushes that I was able to get the letter man jacket stitch and werewolf stitch I hate his modernized design so I’ve been hunting down the earliest oldest authentic plushes because oml they are adorable!

A year after defeating Dr. Hamsterviel and his Leroy clones, Ohana still means family. All 625 of Jumba's experiments are busily living their new, reformed lives in the One True Places Lilo gave them. But when Experiment 621, Stitch's jealous older brother, breaks out of Federation labs and heads to earth to seek his revenge, their quirky family begins to split apart. 621 has learned to be manipulative and bide his time, and he's trying to convince Stitch's cousins to join him so they can prove Experiments are the most superior race in the galaxy! Well, there’s been a lot of Lilo & Stitch merch released this month!

Last May, I mentioned that Build-A-Bear Workshop released their own Stitch plush. Now @saveliloandstitch has mentioned on their Facebook group that Angel has joined in with a Build-A-Bear plush of her own!

A $32 (£24 in the UK) online exclusive, she can be customized to your liking like with many other Build-A-Bear plushes. She also has a Stitch & Angel emblem in Cooper Black on her left foot. Her boojiboo is also available for those who haven’t gotten him.

🌺Aloha, again!🌺

Just nine days ago, I shared a post about a LEGO Ideas project featuring Lilo & Stitch characters and the Pelekai residence.

Since that post, the project has now reached over 2500 supporters! That’s halfway to the next major milestone of 5000 supporters and a quarter of the way to the needed 10,000 supporters for The Lego Group to review it!

It’s great to see all the support that this project has been getting just over a month after it began, proving that fans’ love of the Pelekai ‘ohana remains strong after over eighteen years. Kudos to ItsABricksLife626 for their success so far!

Separately, as shared over on the Ohana Shoutout over @saveliloandstitch, there’s actually another Lilo & Stitch-related LEGO Ideas going on right now with over 2200 supporters so far.

This articulated LEGO model of Stitch by Tyler Clites, winner (alongside his wife Amy) of the first season of the American version of Lego Masters, brings our favorite cute and fluffy alien to life in a fun, posable, not-fluffy-at-all-but-still-adorable form. He can even switch between his disguised form and his true Experiment 626 form.

This is actually a revised version of the same LEGO Ideas project he made back in 2016. This one (shown below) actually reached 10,000 supporters, but ultimately did not get the full approval of The Lego Group.

Admittedly, I’m kind of conflicted about supporting two projects involving the same theme at the same time, since it’s most likely that only one of them will get the full backing of The Lego Group and Disney should they both make it to 10,000 supporters. (And I’m very certain that they both will.) One incredibly detailed LEGO set of a loving extended family and their incredible home, and a highly-refined LEGO model of a cute and very popular alien. Both are labors of love for Lilo & Stitch and LEGO; one from an award-winning LEGO Master Builder with years of dedication to his idea, and one from a young Master Builder trying to prove themselves to the world. Ideally, both should be approved and made into LEGO sets—there’s potential here to start a whole LEGO theme based around the Lilo & Stitch franchise—but it’s very unlikely, especially since approving two thematically similar projects at either the same time or very close to one another would be seen as unfair to the many other deserving LEGO Ideas projects out there. Still, I do wish both of them the best.

(Psst! Master Builders! If you are reading this, you two should team up to convince Disney and TLG to start a Lego Lilo & Stitch theme with your sets! A Lego Minecraft theme started from Mojang’s popular Micro World project and set back in the old Lego Cuusoo days, and so has Lego Ghostbusters from the first year of Lego Ideas, so it’s still entirely possible. The Lilo & Stitch franchise needs more love!)

I personally don’t want to share anything relating to merchandise during these times, but I feel like sharing this one after seeing it shared on the @saveliloandstitch site.

Build-A-Bear Workshop has released a new Stitch plush on their site (US, UK) that comes with a sound chip with six phrases.

You can listen to his phrases on the site, but here’s the transcripts of what he says:

“H-h-hiiiii!”

“You be my friend? OK. Good.” (This line was likely taken from Chris Sanders’s Disney Infinity recordings.)

“I am cute! And fluffy!“

“Meega, nala kweesta! [maniacal laugh]” (This line was also probably from Sanders’s Disney Infinity recordings.)

“You can be part of my ‘ohana.”

“Stitch very huggable. You hug now!”

Here’s a new link shared over on the @saveliloandstitch Ohana Shoutout. ScreenRant’s George Chrysostomou has shared his thoughts in a listicle on what he believes are the ten best genetic experiments (not “monster experiments” as he wrote the headline—the fact that they were technically made as such anyway notwithstanding) in the Lilo & Stitch franchise.

His choices are... interesting to say the least. The main trio of the Mid Six-Twos are on the list (no surprise there since they’re all a shoo-in for most fans), but they’re not ordered in the way you think they would be; only one of them is in his top three and the other two are not even in his top five! Aside from only one other safe choice, his other six choices range from the uncommon to the completely unexpected. (Out of all of Mrs. Hasagawa’s “cats”, he picks that one?!)

Angel, Jumba, Pleakley, and Experiment 626 met guests at Walt Disney World!

@saveliloandstitch already shared these as separate posts recently, but it’s still worth sharing in a single post.

Currently, there’s a special event for Disney Vacation Club members called “Moonlight Magic”. It’s happening at Epcot throughout this week from May 13th to the 20th. As a big surprise during the event, Angel, Jumba, Pleakley, and the Experiment 626 variant of Stitch (his true alien form with four arms, antennae, back spines, and wearing a spacesuit) are available for meet-and-greets! That means that American Disney Parks guests — not Cast Members — have finally truly got to meet them within the United States!
