Finally I had the chance to watch with my eyes my favorite Spanish team winning a title
And people will say "why do you care so much about a stranger team?"
Athletic Club isn't just a random team from another country different than mine
Athletic Club is a wonderful team with a wonderful history and culture
A team with just Basque related players which succeed to remain on a top level year after year, always in Laliga, never going down, already won many titles in the past, it's going back to Europe once again
One of the most important and with the most titles Spanish team, the only with Real and Barça that always participated in the first Spanish league without ever being relegated
The atmosphere of our stadium San Mames is something unique
When we play at San Mames, everyone fears us
I love Athletic Club and I always will because it always give me emotions and joys

WHEN LIFE HAS BEEN forcing everything on you, it has bound for you to be driven to manipulation and greed. you were the most desperate person for fame and someone to know who you actually are.
the form of 4stros made you shape a persona that only fans and friends would know, no one actually knew who you were and what your intentions were. to be fair, all you wanted was fame and revenge.
you wanted to kill the person who ruined you, who destroyed your childhood life. you were forced to grow up because of them and your brain was forced to create another personality.
besides the trauma you dealt with, 4stros has grown into a popular idol group. people inspired to be like the group, especially you.
[name] was the leader with multiple fans and love letters with to many creepy stalkers in other, dark places but for some reason, they didn’t get bothered by them.
[name] was an idol and actor, a real life prodigy in action. but who knows, they might use that to their advantage.
maybe help a boy who’s the child of ai hoshino, a popular idol. would they use them too, maybe the two would toy with eachother? who knows, this is your story, not mine.
[NAME] HAD MULTIPLE PEOPLE look down on them when they were younger due to being claimed “weird”, it didn’t bothered them, most things didn’t bother them besides when people actually know them.
“[name] san? you there?” yashiro queried, pink eyes dotting at their leader. [name] smiled at them with a nod, “yes, yashiro chan?” they replied with a tone that would mame fans swoon. yashiro giggled and pecked their cheek before jumping up.
oka opened the door, hair cut and tied into a ponytail with a book that had all their songs, haru and juno were behind her aswell. “juno chan!” yashiro called out and hugged the women, who blushed and mumbled as she hugged back.
[name] walked up to them after waving, “oka chan~ are you done with the new song?” they were quite close to the lyricists face, light red on her cheek as she nodded at the leader who smiled.
“yes, i have.” oka answered with an emotionless tone, the 5 friends have been together since younger days and they’ve all helped eachother through their hardships.
they’ve been 4stro for a 2 years (this is the 3rd year) and this song is for their anniversary, X/XX/2023.
fans all over the place has been waiting for this day to come, expressing their gratitude for them and their excitement all over the 4stro’s fanpage. the anniversary has sky rocketed because of st4rs, the fandoms name.
[name] gave a few instructions before their mother knocked on the door, “[name] san? are — oh! you guys are here! i just wanted to remind you guys that you have school!” their mother reminded quickly and waved at the four friends.
“thanks ma!” [name] gritted in between their teeth, pulling their bag up as the five friends left for school, not before hiding themselves into they got there.
even though getting to school was hard, the amount of times paparazzi has noticed them and tried to invade their life was harder.
especially being classmates with creeps too . . .
“juno chan!” yashiro dragged out the ‘chan’, having juno push yashiro away from her with an annoyed look, the idol group already in class. “yashiro san! leave me alone!” juno whined, clearly enjoying the way yashiro laughed.
haru lightly chuckled whilst oka watched intently before looking back down at her phone, [name] sighed and laid their head down on their desk, peoples mutters being the only thing they heard.
“oh, [name] san!” a familiar girl’s voice rang through their ears, like a gunshot, kana arima stood beside their desk, a smile plastered on her voice.
[name] sat up, their face changing from a scowl to a fake smile, “kana chan!” kana winked at them as [name] just sat there, the same smiled plastered onto their face.
“pleasure seeing you again.”
“pleasures all mine, [name] san.” the two conversed, the classmates just watching with res pigment on their cheeks, having multiple idols in the same room as them.
“you did your hair?” kana asked, pointing at the dyed streaks in [name]’s hair, they lead nodding with a bright smile, having someone to notice at their school.
“i did, kana chan! thank you for noticing.” kana just smiled with closed eyes back at the doll like idol, who’s face returned to a scowl for a second before the teacher came in.
obviously the scowl was noticeably from their friends as they were aware of [name]’s greed and hatred for others, they didn’t point it out since they were all selfish.
they weren’t good people.
and lying to themselves got them nowhere—unlike [name], who admits things are just the way they are.
juno was the most envious, yashiro was the laziest, oka was the most saddest, haru had the most pride, and [name] was the most greediest.
they couldn’t help it. everyone was a horrible person and the more you lie about it, the more ignorant you are. [name] couldn’t help it but feel rage because of them.
“do you remember ruby and aquamarine hoshino?” them. oh them, how could [name] forget them! [name] hated them and their mother, they couldn’t stand the two of them.
“yes, why?” kana grinned before sitting down, not explaining why she had asked. the thought dwelled into their mind, remembering the times that they had seen them.
you met them by visiting a studio where kana was acting at, and surprisingly the hoshino twins were there. “ah! is this one of your friends, kana chan?” you walked up to them with a smile.
ruby blinked at you before smiling, “i love your eyes!” she complimented you, giving a red tint on your cheek. “o - oh, um, thank you…?” “ruby hoshino!”
“and that’s my brother, aquamarine hoshino but most of us call him aqua!” runy answered with cheerfulness that you wish you had.
“nice meeting you, ruby chan, aqua kun. i’m [name] [lastname], the child of hima [lastname], the famous singer, pleasure.”
a dark glint was in your eyes and a smirk plastered on your face, sometimes you wished you could rewatch the face aqua made when he saw you change your personality.
it was delightful to never see them again as they made your blood boil, you couldn’t help it. they were naive people, and you hated naive people.

AI3 predictions + headcanons
Aitsf and AINI spoilers ofc
Date will come back looking like Falco wearing a Vochlocho with the Greg Chun voice in it
It is revealed that Horadori Institute’s sole sperm donor was So Sejima
I scared myself with this one, this sounds like something that would actually 100% happen
Meaning Iris and Mizuki would be bio half-sisters
So gets murdered finally
And the detectives are like uh oh, we have no leads, the killer could’ve literally been anyone ever
Date and Hitomi actually spend time together and reconnect fr and it’s good
Iris’s next somnium is Among Us themed
She witnesses something important, but her somnium hides it under a puzzle where we have to do tasks and correctly identify the impostor that symbolizes what actually happened. The AI ball is crewmate-shaped like Shovelforge Aiba
We’ll be able to play as Marco/Maruko
If the effects of somnium make Aiba more silly instead of logical and Tama more nervous instead of confident, maybe they make Marco loud and expressive while they’re usually shy and quiet in eye form
Aiba returns to Date and Mizuki gets a new partner
We learn significantly more Adorabbit lore (is it a cartoon or something, or is it like a fucked up parody of Sanrio characters?)
There is a character named Adorat that Bibi likes
They put Shoma on some sort of hormone therapy
He starts working for Pewter
Maybe gets a scholarship/grant from ABIS so he can go to uni for robotics. This way he can get the education without debt and then support Mame when she gets out so she can get back on track and have the ability to find something better than Sunfish Pocket.

Unlike Pewter, Amame actually stays in prison for a while, but not a super long time

The game starts with Tokiko speaking directly to you, the player, as a sort of narrator figure
The characters call on Lien to pick locks again but his role is very minor like that of Moma in AINI

We get to go to Boss and Bibi’s home as was apparently planned for this game at some point
Screw it, throw in Ryuki’s place too. He probably lives in a fuckin mansion
Mizuki inherited two companies from Ren yet she lives in Date’s studio apartment. Sure, she secretly loves him and wouldn’t actually want to move out, but what does she do with the money she must be making? Donate a ton of it? Saving and investing?
Minor subplot where Date and Tama end up working together for some horrible, terrifying reason
Aiba’s interest in bugs and fish becomes relevant to the case
Another iteration of that hilarious highway scene where all the psyncers are driving to the same destination in their own ridiculous vehicles instead of everyone just going in the limo. Or would it be funnier if they were all in one car? How about both in one game.
In AI1 they said there were six psyncers at ABIS. We’ve met Date, Ryuki, and Bibi, plus Mizuki, so there must be at least three other psyncers and AI balls we haven’t met yet.
The game title will obviously be full of puns so what if AI3 (AI san) is about the first psyncer and AI ball? I’m not thinking a prequel, but it could explain the origins of ABIS and be related to the first case solved using psyncing.
It’d be neat if the main character is a more senior detective, like maybe a Jane Marple type figure. It would be cool to see an old protagonist since the end of VLR
Idk what Marco/Maruko’s gender settings are supposed to be since Marco is a masculine name and Maruko is feminine, but I hope we get a male AI-ball in general
What tacky vehicles would the new character(s) ride? A convertible? Badass futuristic motorcycle?
The English title will have the number 3 represent the letter E and “AI” somewhere in it. Perhaps they will use <3 to reference ai as in love
Polyamorous relationship between three people to represent “ai 3”
Man imagine AI4… knowing that one of the ways to say 4 sounds like “death” and is considered super unlucky in Japanese, they’d go crazy stuffing the title with double meanings

A quick Old GMMTV Challenge update, plus bonus notes on two Japanese BL doramas, Our Dining Table and Tokyo In April Is... !
1) Dark Blue Kiss review dropping Monday. I LOVED IT. It was an utter delight to watch He’s Coming To Me and DBK, plus the Our Skyy 2 x Bad Buddy x A Tale of Thousand Stars, all within three weeks of each other. It was the Aof Noppharnach Showcase Spectacular that I needed in my life. Now that I’m watching TharnType -- I really needed the salve.
2) I want to let anyone who’s following the OGMMTVC know that, for the sake of my sanity, I’m going to start watching TharnType on 1.5x speed. If I miss any nuances, so be it. I just learned some fact about MAME that has set me off, which I’ll discuss in my review, and I feel I need to get this show off the list ASAP.
3) Two doramas! The Our Dining Table spin-off! I’m glad we’re not calling it an epilogue, because the epilogue in the original manga was different. The spin-off was SO LOVELY, right? The way Minoru hunched over in the onsen. The way Yutaka stumbled over Minoru’s confusion about Ohata. It was perfectly cute AND perfectly emotional. Ueda-san is a GOD. I am going to miss this show terribly.
4) And, thanks to @troubled-mind‘s note about the makers of Tokyo In April Is... (the same as ODT!), I’ve picked it up. And with @lurkingshan’s note about that manga -- I’ll be reading it ASAP. I really liked the first episode. I have PTSD over people disappearing for 10 years after watching The Promise, I have to admit. But I’m glad to have a dorama to step in for the void left by ODT.
That’s it! And: fuck TharnType.

Day One of CinemaCon is done, deaded, over!
The slate was pretty much as I expected sans any info on Dakota Johnson's MADAME WEB.
-Jennifer Lawrence was on hand to tout her sex comedy NO HARD FEELINGS.
-Denzel Washington and his MAN ON FIRE costar Dakota Fanning talked their reunion project, EQUALIZER 3.
-Also in a reunion project is Joaquin Phoenix and his GLADIATOR director Ridley Scott. Footage from Scott's NAPOLEON - starring Phoenix, was shown. As part of Sony's deal with Apple+ it will have have a sturdy theatrical run before going to the streamer.
-Carrie Coon, Paul Rudd, McKenna Grace and Finn Wolfhard- clad in Ghostbusters uniform - sent a set video message from their not-as-yet named sequel of GHOSTBUSTERS: AFTERLIFE.
-Martin Lawrence and Will Smith sent a video message from set of BAD BOYS 4.
-Whether they're really playing in Glen Powell's girlfriend's face or just trying to drum up press for their l'il movie, Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney were on hand to promote their rom-com ANYONE BUT YOU.
-There was extended footage of GRAN TURISMO starring Orlando Bloom and David Harbour.
-Also on video was Aaron Taylor-Johnson to tease footage from his starring vehicle KRAVEN THE HUNTER. It will be the first Sony Marvel film with an R rating. Confirmed for the film? Alessandro Nivola is playing Rhino.
-Fourteen minutes of SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE was screened. The animated film takes place a year post SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE.
Other Sony films promoted: the Priyanka Chopra-Jonas, Sam Heughan (and bewilderingly, Celine Dion) romance LOVE AGAIN, KNIGHTS OF THE ZODIAC starring Mackenyu, Sean Bean and Famke Janssen, the dark comedy THE MACHINE, the John Cho and Katherine Waterson fronted horror film THEY LISTEN, the all-star biblical film THE BOOK OF CLARENCE starring LaKeith Stanfield as the title character who is trying to capitalize on the rise of the Messiah.
