I totally get why people want She Hulk to have more “Hulk” in her design, personally I’m fine with how she looks in the trailer (the CG though is just awful). Something I feel a lot of more casual comic readers probably won’t know a lot is that in-universe, Gamma rays don't just make you big, green and stupid (or at least they shouldn't) They unleash a form and personality befitting whatever your subconscious normally suppresses or hides.

Bruce Banner is emotionally and physically abused. Scared, timid, all that traumatized mess. So his Hulk unleashes all the rage he’s bottled up, making him the Strongest There Is, but ultimately he just wants to be left alone.

Emil Blonsky always thought he was a monster. His dose of Gamma turned him into one.

Samuel Sterns felt that his intellect was never acknowledged, so when he became The Leader, he got the biggest brain in the world so everyone knows it.

Betty Ross doesn’t have an easy life pursuing a relationship with Bruce. And after years of a roller coaster of a relationship (and a little help from MODOK) Harpy is her Gamma-powered defense mechanism to shield Betty both physically and emotionally.

Doc Samson doesn’t have any emotional baggage whatsoever, but he does want to help other people. So he just becomes a green-haired Superman.

Jen doesn’t have the same emotional issues that Bruce has. She wanted to be less underestimated, more confident and more outspoken, so She-Hulk is all of that and more.

I like Shulkie with a good amount of beef, but acting like She-Hulk should be a clone of Bruce in design is just a huge reduction.

More drawings for how I'd design characters if I did an X-Men '97-inspired sequel series for the various Marvel cartoons (mostly Spider-Man: The Animated Series and The Incredible Hulk), as well as two characters I hope will appear on X-Men '97 itself -- along with another episode of "Anicomicgeek can't do a decent actor likeness if his life depended on it" since Arcade was supposed to be modeled on Malcolm McDowelll during his A Clockwork Orange days.

this is a redraw of one of the first IH things i sketched about 2 years ago when i first started to get into drawing again after a veeeeery long break 😂

i liked the idea of after IH, Ross just has these two losers in custody/'help me get banner and you're exonerated uwu 😊' but immediately regrets thinking he could rely on them because they do stupid shit like this on the daily. anything that makes ross suffer brings joy to my heart 😌

i'm gonna be working through the last few marvel ideas i've had on my list of things to draw before i lose any and all motivation to do them as other fandoms crowd my mind lol

i've wanted to redraw this particular comic for a while but while looking through my old art the other day and going 'oh my god why did you even post that 😐' at most things i was like, we're doing this NOW 🤣

not perfect, but it's improvement and i'm glad to see it. if you've been around since my pencil chicken scratch doodles i love love love you because people being so nice when i first started again was a big motivator to keep going even when i was thinking my stuff was garbo 🤧❤️
