Today, 16th of December, marks the Independence day of Kazakhstan. On this day 32 years ago the High Council of Republic of Kazakhstan signed the declaration of independence.

I could tell many fun facts and silly sarcastic remarks, but I think I will leave with a wish.

I hope that for as long as I live there will be a celebration of this day. I hope that the number of generations that lived in independent Kazakhstan, will surpass that we spent under oppression. I hope that I can live and die knowing that there is a home for me.

I hope that this country is allowed to develop. Allowed to resolve its own conflicts, crises and problems.

And I hope that there will never be a need to protest a governor appointed from above, in complete disregard of peoples' wishes, like there was 37 years ago.

I wish I live through many more days where this day is a mundanity, where it is spent resting with my family.

Anyone who has seen how russia treats its prisoners isn't shocked at the treatment of the terror attack suspects. It's is a common pattern: torture someone then film their "confession". Similar things are done to Russian political prisoners, foreign nationals, Ukrainian prisoners of war, Ukrainian civilians..... with other variations, sometimes not filmed, sometimes even worse torture, sometimes sexual violence...

Elections at gunpoint

How the propaganda show "russian presidential elections" took place in the occupied territories

As reported by the National Resistance Center, for three days, russians stopped Ukrainians at checkpoints and demanded they "vote", all under the watchful eye of armed guards who indicated where to mark the ballot.

Occupiers also conducted raids on homes, trying to obtain information about local residents who ignored the "elections". russians attempted to enter houses multiple times if the doors were not opened to them.

The patrol groups consisted of two civilians and a military member. They primarily targeted those who had voted in the pseudo-referendum and "local elections".

Collaborators from the "election commissions" recorded who exactly voted and compiled a separate list of "disloyal residents" who avoided "voting".

This is an inaccurate translation; it cannot convey all the despair and anger in the words of a person who is under occupation. It's just an inaccurate conversation context:

Man:"What do you want ?"

Collaborators:"Hello"

Man:"Who even allowed you kurva to come here?What the fuckin voting?Who allowed you to come into the yard?"

Collaborators:"We saw in your car your"...

Collaborators:"Put a signature"(on the vote for the dictator putin)

Man:"Im against that shit.I didn't invite you here. This is my yard, my home. And I absolutely don't need you here,you fuckin sluts.Do you understand?"

Collaborators:"The Signature"

"I must remind you that many people disappeared without a trace due to their resistance to the occupiers, many people were tortured. Many Ukrainians were shot."

Abroad,russians eagerly went to vote for the dictator putin.This is exactly how one can love russia - from far away abroad.

‼️In Bilyaivka, Kherson region, the Russians held people in a torture chamber for 5 months. It was set up in the technical room of the school with an area of 6 by 3 meters, without windows, lighting and a toilet.

While detaining people, the Russian occupiers simulated their executions, threatened them with castration, did not take prisoners to the shower, and almost did not give them food or water. They were also physically tortured, in particular by electric shock. Four of those illegally detained are no longer alive.
