L- Lost: /Losing their S/O in a crowd/

A/N: nothing much to say- besides I think I wrote to much for 2d's

Tw: Panic, Murdoc acts a bit toxic(and it's not ok don't let people treat you like that), idk if i missed something

-Bold of you to assume 2D wasn't the one getting lost

-It take's 2D a hot minute to realize S/O wasn't even there anymore

-At first he wouldn't realize it, so he would go about walking around doing whatever you two were doing- when he realized you two aren't holding hands anymore, so he looks back to go grab your hand when he realized S/O wasn't there

-Like Murdoc he comes to a freeze- as the info that his S/O is now gone sets it

-2D snaps back to reality when someone accidently bumps into him

-"oh- sorry didn't mean to-" the stranger was cut off by 2D's unintelligible panic talk before 2D scrambled away leaving the stranger confused

-2D would scramble all over the place looking for S/O panicked, to anyone who was looking from an outside perspective would be sincerely confused- I mean he doesn't look crazy or anything but he looks very lost

-And especially if you guys are on tour in a unfamiliar country or place for the first time

-Because if so- he's panicking get's worse

-Eventually he sees someone with a phone- and the realization that he should check his phone

-2D sighs in relief thinking that you probably sent him a text- in which you didn't and panic sets back in

-He spends the next half an hour looking for his S/O when 2D see's his S/O too busy looking at something to notice 2D

-2D stumbles over to S/O a bit winded and babbling about you being gone

-"Luv- where have you been-?" 2D said pulling you into a bone crushing embrace, "Why didn't you answer da' phone?"

-"oh sorry Stu... I got distracted, and my phone is dead so I couldn't answer any text-" you say as 2D still didn't let go

-After some reassuring hugs and a kiss and you two go back to whatever your doing- as 2D basically forgetting what just happened

-He panics a bit but stays in place

-At first he just waits their hopeing S/O wanders back but when two minutes has passed and no sign of you

-Murdocs next checks his messages, and he had zero from you

-So now he's stressed as hell, but he tries to keep calm

-And walks around casually like nothings wrong, while he's sweating bullets and his eyes are darting all over the place looking for you

-every few minutes Mudz takes out his phone checking for a message

-He eventually find you and jogs over to you and grabs S/O by the arm and starts to grumble out frustrated nags

-"The hell- have' ya been, I've been looking all over the fucking place-" Murdoc would snap at S/O, as he drags S/O back to the car

-"Jeez sorry- just got distracted..." S/O would respond

-"Well why didn't you answer yer fuck'en phone?"

"Uh... I left it at home..."

-Murdoc would face palm

- you two didn't get to finish the outing because murdoc was stressed and just wanted to go home and relax

-But the next day you two went back out but this time Murdoc kept his arms around S/O's waist or shoulders

-She looks around for a second before checking her phone to see if you texted her, and when she see's you didn't she would immediately start searching the area for you

-And Noodle finds you immediately- no joke, she take like a minute and then finds you

-"Hay S/O- where did you go?" Noodle said as she placed a hand on your shoulder as she walks up behind you

-"oh hey sorry Noods, I didn't realize I lost you..."

-Noodle accepted the apology and you two went about your outing but this time Noodle walked behind you to make sure you don't wander off

-The most rational out of all of them

-Like Noodle, Russel immediately checked his phone and sighed when he saw no texts

- He would calmly look around for you- it took like ten to thirty minutes to find S/O

-And when he found S/O he didn't ask any question, he just walks up to S/O puts a hand on their shoulder and says "Hey baby- come on we have things to do"

-"Oh- hey Rus look what i found.." S/O would point at the thing that distracted them

-"yeah yeah- lets go hon" Rus would hold your hand as you two go about your day- and he would look over his shoulder every once in a while to make sure you're still there

I’m bored and it’s 00:09 at my place rn so here’s some personal Gorillaz headcanons of mine. (and no there’s no specific order so enjoy ig)

When Noodle was about 10, she’d always sneak into Russel’s (or 2-D’s) room to cuddle up with him whenever it was raining at night or if she had a nightmare.

2-D has the worst eyesight out of the four, even worse than Russel’s for some reason.

Noodle’s hair during Phase 1 (that weird buzzcut) is because of Murdoc’s antics; Russel told him to cut her hair as it was getting too long, and… it came out funky.

Noodle’s iconic helmet is gifted from Murdoc after he failed to cut the girl’s hair correctly. A walkman was also gifted with the helmet.

During the recording of TNN, 2-D just kept writing songs that always tied back to Murdoc; he tried to change said lyrics, but it just wouldn’t work, so he went with it (not that he minds much, anyways).

Noodle and Ace were childhood friends. First becoming friends after about a few months of living in Kong Studios up until the El Mañana incident, which caused them to cut contact for a long while until Phase 5, where they reconciled.

Russel and Murdoc had known each other for a long time before Gorillaz had even been formed, and they’ve been dating on and off during those moments before Gorillaz. Now with the formation of the band, they’re closer than ever.

Russel has given Murdoc a taxidermy of a crow in remembrance of Cortez, though it’s never been the same for the bassist.

2-D had played dress-up all the time during Phase 1 with Noodle; playing princess, having tea parties, even sleepovers!

When Noodle had her first period, Murdoc was confused as hell (and was briefly disgusted), 2-D was more curious as to why and how, and Russel just became the dad, buying her chocolate, bringing hot water bottles to relieve any pain, and he even buys her tampons and pads if she ran out (true dad indeed). Applies to every phase basically.

Del likes to play with Noodle whenever Russel lets him. It’s quite the sight, a little Noodle being taught how to gamble by one of the funkyphantoms living inside Russel’s body.

When you asked 2-D for help with doing the laundry, he accidentally poured in crack instead of detergent in the washing machine. Your clothes that were unlucky enough to be washed in that washing machine 2-D used reeked of drugs for a long while, and 2-D apologized profusely and even bought you new ones to replace the old ones.

2-D definitely likes it best when you walk together in a park holding/ linking hands; he feels that there’s a bond forming (and he won’t bump everywhere as he can’t see well at all).

2-D asked you out to the local chippy during your first date with him, and he tried his best to impress you, all calm and prepared and all. It’s just that special 2-D charm that always gets you.

Murdoc, who successfully coaxed you into entering his Winnebago with him, realized that it was all messy and definitely made your skin crawl. He tries to quickly clean it up, but it fails. At least he gave you a big, fat barrage of apologies and hugs for the mess.

Murdoc definitely does not do/ enjoy PDA very much, but whenever there’s S/O’s ex/ enemy nearby, he’d get all close and cuddly to you all of a sudden. You like it when he’s like this.

Murdoc would definitely take you to a fancy-enough pub for your first date with him; he even took a shower and he wasn’t too rude to everyone involved, and it was all just to impress you! If that isn’t dedicated, you didn’t know what was.

Russel… he accidentally spilled some animal blood on you when he was doing one his taxidermy projects. You said it was only a small splatter, but he offered to clean it squeaky clean, even if it isn’t very noticeable at best.

Russel likes long, cold walks during winter with you. He always says that the snowflakes falling are like you dancing and falling from above.

Russel during the first date would take you out for a picnic in the park, or perhaps a midnight stargazing experience with him. He’s more of a person who’s enjoy doing these little things with you, and it warms your heart. It does, really.

Noodle would collect little things like seashells or little scraps of things to make you a pretty bracelet/ ring/ necklace out of. Noodle broke one of these that she gave you earlier in the day/ month/ year on accident, and she treated you like a queen for the rest of the day, even if you try to convince her that it’s no big deal.

Noodle likes to go out and adventure with you into the woods, a creek, places like that and such in search of memories and little bits and bobs.

Noodle took you out to out to dinner at her place, as she thinks that this’ll impress you, and it did; her room was tidy, the food was amazing, and Noodle was just all around perfect. You couldn’t take your eyes off her, not even for a minute.

Whenever Murdoc just wouldn’t shut up at times when Russel was too tired to have sex in bed, he would just let his cock sit in the bassist’s mouth; a semi-replacement for sex when the drummer’s too tired to do so.

2-D masturbates quite often, and whenever he comes, it’s always a fuckfest; his nice, clean sheets have these stains, and they’re permanent stains, mind you.

**Applies to phase 5 Noodle and above** Noodle enjoys self-care, and has quite the array of dildos at her fingertips. Usually uses them to relieve period cramps; she’s read somewhere that sex can, and it does the job well, for cramp relief or simple pleasure.

Russel absolutely dominates Murdoc in bed, but sometimes the roles are reversed. Murdoc and Russel definitely likes it when they degrade and fill each other up. (Breedy breedy degradation kink who???)

•He absolutely will not fall asleep next to you with clothes on.

•He is constantly checking in on you, making sure you're okay and not in any pain or discomfort.

•If you get cramps, he's next to you in an instant, softly rubbing circles on your abdomen.

•Breakfast will be served in bed all week, however, every other meal he wants you to get out of bed for.

•At the start of the week, he asks you what you need and want so he doesn't have to go on late night runs to the store.

•He's more than happy to go to the store at any moment for you though.

Noodle

•Your periods tend to sync.

•Which means, cuddling in bed, holding each other while crying because of your pains.

•She will ask her band mates to get anything you two could possibly need, oh and a mountain of chocolate.

•She will fake cry if Katsu lays on you and not her.

•So many kisses during this time, she knows it's hard for the both of you.

•Always makes sure you're hydrated and eating well, especially during this week.

Ace Copular

•He's not grossed out, just confused.

•Bleeding for that long without dying shouldn't be physically possible.

•He may not understand it but he's more than willing to help you though it.

•He will run you hot baths and put candles all around it, he might even put some rose petals in the water.

•He makes sure you feel loved.

•If you ask for something, he's gone, and he's not coming back until he has exactly what you asked for.

•He gets scared when you get cramps, he still only has the bare minimum of knowledge, and seeing you toss and turn in pain freaks him out.

Could I get some headcanons for the band with an s/o who loves affection, but rarely initiates it because they don't wanna bother anyone so sometimes they just kinda sit somewhere quietly for a while until the band members figure out the deal is? Thanks in advance!

As much as he loves affection, Russ enjoys having his personal space

You knew this, and were afraid that your affection may be making him feel uncomfortable or annoyed

You started to withdraw from Russ in an attempt to make him more comfortable in your relationship. You initiating kisses, hugs, cuddle sessions, etc., was far and few in between

He's not the most clingy guy so he wouldn't notice your behavior at first.

He just assumed that you were just like him!

As time went on, though, he began to pick up on something that was going on

Always a firm believer in communication, Russ would sit you down and ask you why you've been initiating less and less, if he's done anything to make you uncomfortable, and all that jazz.

Once he found out your reasoning, he hugged you tight

He told you that his misses your affection

And that just because he isn't one who wants to be touched 24/7, it doesn't mean he doesn't want your affection at all

Reassures you that although he does enjoy time to himself, it doesn't mean you're annoying or bugging him in anyway!

The two of you came up with a plan to communicate better so a situation like this wouldn't pop up again

He'd make sure to tell you if he wasn't up for contact so you'd be less worried about bothering him

You also promised to come to him if you felt this way, instead of withdrawing

When you two finished talking, he invited you to grab a bite to eat :)

Probably the most clingy and affectionate out of all members

Bc of this, he'd pick up on what was going on quickly

May not know the exact reason for your withdrawal, but immediately notices you doing it

Confusion pops up first, followed by anxiety

He thought your relationship was going pretty well..?

He began to wonder if you weren't feeling well

Or if you weren't in the mood for physical touch

Or if you had been tired recently

Or if he did something to make you upset

Or if you didn't like holding him anymore

Or if you fell out of love with him

Okay okay I'll stop but the point is, 2D does nothing but overthink the situation

He'd probably (unknowingly) start to initiate less and less himself!

Which would probably leave you confused

Now you're both confused and overthinking messes

You'd probably be the one who starts the conversation

Asking him why he's been looking so anxious and deep in thought recently

And then he just spills

Asking if he did something to make you upset

Why you've withdrawn from him

If you still even love him

And you immediately feel bad because you withdrew initiation because you didn't want to be a bother

And now he's upset!

It felt like a complete and total backfire on your end

You explained to him that you didn't want to bother him, so you started to initiate contact less

And he just looks at you like "WHAT???"

You already know how affectionate 2D is, so he's quick to knock those thoughts out your head

He just latches onto you and doesn't want to let go

He loves holding you

He loves when you hold him

He makes sure to repeat this over and over to you

He doesn't want you feeling like you're a bother

He needs you and your affection

Noodle

I hc her to be extremely observant

I feel like you have to be if you grew up the way she did

So l'd imagine she'd be the quickest out of all the members to catch on to what you were doing

And why you were doing it

She just didn't know how to bring it up without sounding confrontational

It was a conversation topic she did have to sit on for a few days

She did feel more and more lonely each day she didn't talk to you about what was going on

Noodle missed the hugs and cuddles :(

Don't get me wrong, she still gave you her love and affection, it just didn't feel right without you doing the same

She decided to talk to you during one of your movie nights

You had sat on the opposite side of the couch instead of sitting next to her like you usually do

So Noodle walked over to sit next to you

She told you she's noticed you initiating less contact

And that she assumes why you're doing it

And you confirm her assumptions - you don't want to be bother

Her face softened when she found out she was right

She felt awful knowing you were afraid of bothering her

The whole conversation was basically Noodle asking you questions

How long have you felt this way?

Was there anything I did or said to make you feel like you were a bother?

Why didn't you come to me about this earlier?

Bare with her, she hates seeing you feel this way

You answered all her questions thoroughly, apologizing for withdrawing

She asked for you to communicate with her more and come to her when you feel like this, which you agreed to

You asked her for some cuddles while you watched your movie and Noodle agreed, suddenly remembering that it was your movie night Imao

Murdoc Niccals

Murdoc isn’t the most affectionate guy

It just something he wasn’t used to

So you’re the one who initiated most of sfw contact

You learned that he didn’t like being affectionate in front of the band

So contact was mostly kept in his room or in the Winnebago

He found out he liked cuddling. He liked when you played with his hair

But he wouldn’t initiate it, that was on you

He would sometimes drop hints that he wanted to be hugged and you would pick up on it

He was finally comfortable enough to hold your hand

And he’d sometimes ask you to sit next to him while he played his bass

Since you mostly initiated, Murdoc noticed when you started to withdraw from him

Cue the internal panic

He hasn’t had many good things in life

Your relationship is probably his first serious one

And he’s afraid of fucking it all up

Not one to beat around the bush, he’s quick to confront you

He asks you not to leave him

And you’re like, “what makes you think I’m leaving??”

You’re told that you’ve been withdrawing a lot, so he assumed you were done with him

You tell Murdoc that you aren’t leaving, you just initiated less because you didn’t want to bother him

He has this “ohhhh” moment or realization

He appreciates you not wanting to make him uncomfortable

But he still misses you

He told you that he’s fine with being touched

And that he wouldn’t mind you doing it again

In fact, he wishes things would go back the they way they were

You picked up on the fact he was trying to say he missed your affection without directly saying it

You apologized for withdrawing and he accepted it, you only had good intentions

He told you that he’d try to be more affectionate

And you said you’d do the same

It did take some time for things to go back to the way they used to be though

You still had the lingering feeling that you were bothering him, despite knowing that wasn’t the case

And it took him some time to be more affectionate but he did put the work in

The two of you appreciated the effort the other was putting in

The day he asked you to cuddle with him is what made all the work worth it

It was like you both reached a new step in your relationship

It definitely took some time, but you both got there with enough determination <3

Hi. 😊 Can we have some headcannons on the Gorrillaz band members if they had a partner who is very sweet and nurturing to a fault, but isn't a doormat by any means? Like, they will comfort them and do something nice for them if they're feeling down, but when they do something wrong, the partner will put them in their place?

yip yup! ((the reason why 2D didn't clean muds hair but noodle kinda fixed up his boots is because Muds threatened to throw himself out a window if 2D touches him, saying "'es already ruined enough!!"))

Murdoc

He did just assume you were a kind nice person at first when he met you, but further experiences, he started to expect you might you might be a pushover, but using his logic of the people he's meant, he tried not to jump to conclusions

When you comforted him, he was genuinely touched and a sobbing mess, saying how he doesn't deserve you, like he does with almost everyone. It also made him feel so much better that you stood next to him while Russel mumbled something about how hard it was gonna be to get that super glue out of his shoes and scrubbed his hair

But when you called him out on one of his wrong doings of almost killing 2D out of fear by running into his room dressed as whale (that looked cheaply made and nothing like a whale, probably added more horror to it tbh) and tried to hold him accountable, he.. did unfortunately get upset, tried to argue and defend himself, which only lead to him storming off. After collecting his thoughts and recovering from the situation, he did have a hard time admitting he was in the wrong still, but.. it was you, he cared about you, and he was scared for you to leave him, so he did force himself to accept he was in the wrong and at least tried to understand why and how what he did was wrong, apologizing to those who he hurt first, then trying to make things up with you

2D

2D.. he also thought you were a nice person but didn't assume you had a doormat personality, he just thought you were a good person!

Likes it when you comfort him, coming to his side when Murdoc runs into his room at the dead of night in a whale costume, scaring 2D awake and feeding into his phobia of whales. He always tries to make something for you to show his gratitude afterwards as well

Sometimes he does need a different view of things, and thats where you come in! After his attempt to get back at Muds by replacing his black hair dye with oil and putting super glue in his cuban heels, you were fast to call him out on his wrong doings, since he was the last one with the super glue, firmly explaining to him why he shouldn't have done that, giving him your point of view, and explaining the side affects of his actions

Russel

Now on some things, Russel is very open-minded and nice in his own too! He enjoyed having you around, because well.. you were nice to him!

While you comforted him and helped with cleaning up the mess 2D's most recent prank on Mudz, having to scrub his hair as firmly and aggressively yet the most careful he could be while Murdoc was practically frothing and red with anger, while you were kind enough to see what you could do about his cuban heels that he loved so much

Admittedly, Russel wasn't in his right mind at this time, as he encouraged and helped make Murdoc's whale costume. But in his defense, he though Murdoc was genuinely interested in his love for taxidermy animals, and wanted to try out a similar hobby, making paper mahshay animal costumes. At first he didn't believe you when you told him 2D got scared almost dead last night, until you informed him it was because Murdoc was in a whale costume. He broke down and explained he had part in it, apologizing immediately and running to 2D'S room to apologize to him too but tripped on the wait there because mURDOC'S LEFT HIS FUCKING REPLACEMEMT BOOTS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HALLWAY LIKE A BITCH

Noodle

Noodle didn't really care about your personality, not in a bad way at all though!! she other's values actions more though, and yours.. well obviously she loved them! She thinks you only have good intent, and thats another part that drew her to you

Attempting to scrape out the Super glue in Muds shoes was a punishment for her, but also a learning moment. When you came to check in on her, she had genuinely learned her lesson! Talking about how it was wrong, how much Murdoc needs to clean his boots more, the remorse she feels because she has already found tears of his bare feet skin in it

After 2D outed Noodle with helping him with pranking him, her being the original one to put the super glue in his boots, you were so upset at her! Explaining why what she did was wrong and holding her accountable, tasking her to clean out his heels, which she did, upset at herself that she made you upset though

All of them are very caring though, and I feel like all of them have had to deal with things like nightmares and maybe even panic attacks, because they all went through stuff that was more or less traumatic. So I think they all would act kind of similar. :)

• It doesn't help that he's regarded as the sole reason for bringing together one of the best bands ever recorded—something that he holds over the entire bands head when he feels like being an asshole

• With that giant persona of his inevitably there comes jealousy. The musician gets unreasonably grumpy if someone, especially you, is ever more excited to see a collaborator over for a recording session instead of him of all people

• "You were just gawking at 'em the entire time like an idiot! Wha', never seen a bloody live recording before?" Murdocs accent clipped his words as his gravely voice spit fire at you one afternoon. You just laughed at his annoyance, not even bothered by his attitude after years of putting up with it

• "Murdoc, it's De La Soul. Of course I'm going to be excited. It's ten times better than waking up to you rummaging around in the fridge with nothing but a thong on."

• "Get fucked you little twat." He barked, stomping off and ending the little spat. You didn't see him the rest of the day, no doubt off brooding in his Winnebago. It didn't bother you. More quiet time to hang out with Noodle for you!

• More than often, the two of you have been recorded in separate interviews talking about the other. Mostly just talking shit

• "So, what's this we've all been hearing about a certain bassist getting in a car accident?" A random reporter asked you one day from over their horn rimmed glasses. 2D, who was currently the only other person besides you that had been able to make it to the questioning, scratched his head absent-mindedly as you cackled in glee

• "Yeah yeah. I ran over Muds with my car one day. Just knocked his sorry ass right over. Pow! He recovered fine, dont worry, but the moment he did, I had to run for my life." You managed to get out through laughter. "Still have no idea how those fucking tabloids got ahold of that story."

• "Wasn't it an accident f'ough? I remember you sayin that." 2D tilted his head with a slight lisp

• You just grinned toothily and said nothing

• "It. It was an accident. Right?" He asked again, this time with more nerves

• The interview was cut off shortly after that

• On the topic of cars, Murdoc's own set of wheels was probably his only pride an joy apart from his bass. And ironically, the van was the bane of the rest of the bands existence

• The amount of times you had to bang on the Winnebago's dented door to tell him to shut up— the smell of cigarettes, sex, and too many air fresheners leaking from the cracks —should be a crime

• And each time without fail, you were always met with a shirtless Murdoc; either inviting you in for his version of a night of fun or just plain flipping you off

• You always found the latter easier to deal with

• Russel has always been the medium for any serious fights you and Murdoc would have. You both fight a lot, sure, but normally over small things like who should run out to get more booze or tune up band equipment. It was only when things got really heated that the drummer would step in

• Nine times out of ten, that just meant he'd pick you up with one arm and place you in a separate room until the two of you could stand to be around each other. It was always you he did that to, too, since the one time he'd tried that on Murdoc, Russel narrowly avoided a black eye and a week's docked pay

• It really was easy to forget that technically Murdoc is your boss. With how much shit he gives out, and vise versa from all of you, it really just felt like he was an annoying roommate. An annoying, rich, and vibrant green roomate

• At the end of the day, though, none of you really hated him. Well, the jury was still out on 2D, but you had a feeling the past few years the singer had been trying to pick himself back up

• Murdoc, however much of a prick he is, is still a key part in the band. Without him, some of the best song you'd all produced would have never happened, and some of your best drinking memories would have never happened. Hell, he even did a pretty good job raising Noodle. With plenty of help from everyone else, of course

• So no matter how many inanimate objects you all chucked at each other's head, at the end of the day you'd never trade him for another bass player

• "You lot getting soft on me now?" He grinned sharply at you, licking the outside of his teeth as you pretended to vomit at the mere thought of being nice to him

• "I'd rather die and be reincarnated as a cockroach." You grimaced dramatically. But the both of you were smiling at each other, breaking up the conversation with playful punches

Phase One 2D Having A Crush On Reader

- it’s a strange thing. When you are in love with someone and then another appears and you feel the love for them more than you should. That’s how 2D said it was with you.

- He would do little things that no one else really noticed. Would let you have the last of the peppermint tea, offer you biscuits, help you with anything you needed.

- No one noticed this. Except Paula. You and her did not get along due to her blatant disregard for 2D’s wellbeing and the disrespectful way that she would fawn over Murdoc while 2D was in the same room.

- You and her would often bicker but it ceased when you noticed that it made 2D upset and the other band members uncomfortable.

- When it inevitably happened, you were the first to rush to 2D to try to make him feel better. He was inconsolable for a few hours and was about to choke Murdoc the fuck out but you didn’t let him leave the room til he was calm. Russel was already… taking care of your lights work.

- When Paula left, she saw that her car had been spray painted with a derogatory term for disreputable person. You did feel bad…. That you also hadn’t slashed the tires.

- Murdoc could only await your acts of wrath. You locked him in his Winnebago until he apologized. (He made it about two weeks. But he ran out of fresh water.) and then you gave him the cold shoulder until he apologized to 2D directly.

- 2D did forgive him, which surprised you. But it was easier than it would’ve been because he had you.

- 2D was in love with you.

Murdoc straight up jokes about you replacing 2D(often right in front of 2D). And sometimes it doesn't feel like hes jokeing even if he is

He likes to chill back stage with you- which he expects automatically that he gets to be in the back because he's his S/O's boyfriend and because he's the leader of the greatest band ever- his words not mine

If/When you collab he was iffy on wether he wanted you to duet with 2D at first because he's a bit jealous

But he can't argue with what sounds good, and the voice of his amazing S/O, and the voice of the singer in HIS BAND is something that is he needs for his next album

Murdoc will always talk about how he could go solo too if he wanted to, once he learned his S/O was a solo act

If he drinks too much when you guys are hanging out he will start singing himself, and encouraging his S/O to sing with him

When recording he will give you as nice of criticism as he can if your not hitting the right notes or arn't in the right pitch- but satan forbit one of the others try to give you constructive criticism, especially 2D

Whenever he has nightmares about his childhood and his dad, and his S/O's around he finds it comforting if his S/O hummed to him but he won't ask you to hum to him though because he's scared that you'ed think he's weak

And if your not around when he's haveing a nightmare, he'll listen to one of your songs to calm himself down

If his S/O's a smaller and less well known singer- he will often tells his S/O how he can hook them up with good produser(even if S/O already has one) and anything that you as a smaller creator may not have access to, and will promote you sometimes like on an interview

And even if you are just as popular he can be a bit stuck up and will be like 'Yeah but, Gorillaz is little bit more popular'

Murdoc has mentioned before that he's glad that your a soloist, because he would feel bad for your band mates because of how bad you would out shine them

He wants to lay his head on you, and let you sing to him but he's to nervous

"Dove you have quite the voice, I'd love to have you on my next album."

Noodle

Noodle is can be quite the extrovert, so she would love to go out and do karaoke with her S/O

Noodle was so excited when it was decided that her S/O and Gorillaz was going to collab, cuz it means being with her adopted family and her lover at the same time- she was just so happy to have the people she loved most in the same room

She almost tears up duing a live performance collab because everthing feels so perfect and amazing at that point in time she can't help be a bit emotional

Noodle will travel the world to see her S/O preform at concerts

She would be absolutely in love if her S/O could sing in different languages

She has all your albums, murch- everything

Noodle would be delited to help write your songs

ANY ONE WHO CRITICIZES HER S/O'S MUSIC WILL FACE HER WRATH, it doesn't matter if she likes the kind of music her S/O makes she will beat the shit out of anyone who is rude

She is your personal body guard, like why would you need a body guard when you have a Noodle

She introduced you to 2D and Russel before the collab because her S/O and 2D are both singers and she thought 2D needed a singer friend that wasn't connected through work, and Russel is her dad who did the most parenting so it was like a meet the parent situation Sorry Mudoc :/

She will ask her S/O to sing to her somtimes, most often when you two are alone

Noodle has a LOT of respect for her S/O because managing a music career by yourself can be quite hard, especially to her because she grew up in a band with other people so she could never imagine doing it alone

She like catching her S/O singing to themself when they are alone, because she loves to see her S/O flustered, and if you don't get flustered she still likes to see them surprised to see her

"Hey S/O, about our date- I was thinking.... karaoke!"

2D

2D is ecstatic to have a S/O that is also a singer

He is just so happy to have someone to relate to

Before 2D even starts dating his S/O(like in crush faze) he would have already asked S/O to do a collab as a way to get closer with them

Like Noodle, 2D owns a lot of his S/O's merchandise not as much as her but still a lot

He likes to atend his S/O's concerts but prefers to watch back stage because while he loves his fans and fan interactions he also hates the idea of taking attention away from his S/O at his S/O's concert, and due to his very recognizable appearance he is likely going to draw attention to himself in a crowd of people

2D will blab to anyone who will listen about his S/O and their solo career as a singer, this is the case often in interviews where the interviewers ask about y'alls relationship

When talking with his S/O and his S/O's career as a singer he has forgoten he was a singer himself

2D tends subconsciously sing or hum to himself, and if his S/O joined him in his little tune he would melt into putty- though it would take him a hot second to realize that they where singing with them

He's fascinated by the fact that his S/O's are a solo singer, and often asks you about it, though he often gets off track with his questions

PLEASE write a love song about him, if you do his heart will die of happiness

When it comes time for the collaboration 2D gets distracted constantly, by his S/O, and their voice specifically

While 2D getting distracted in the studio isn't new, but him getting distracted while recording is, as he tends to hyperfixate on singing when recording- but now half way through the lyrics he just slowly stops and stares at his S/O like nothing else in the world exists- with a goofy euphoric grin on his face, and when S/O stops cuz he stoped he'll mutter out praise about S/O's voice/singing Much to the others dissmay

"Wow... ya have such'a pretty voice luv"

Russel

Russel is a very supportive boyfriend

Out of all of the band mates he's the one that doesn't mind watching from the crowd the most- but much like 2D he doesn't like taking attention away from his S/O

If you show him the lyrics to a song you are working on he likes to suggest beats that might sound good with it

While Russel was happy to collaborate with his S/O, he's the least thrilled about it in the group- as he likes to balance his work life and home life as much as he can even though its really hard to so bring his love life into work life isn't exactly thrilling for him I mean did you see how it worked out for 2D

Russel is also the most professional when it comes time to collaborate with his S/O, like I said he tries to separate home life and work life and he does this by acting professional and trying to ignore the fact he is dating the person he is working with

Whenever the bands on tour and he misses his S/O he likes to listen to S/O's music even if it's not his type of music, but he usually won't really listen to the collab music at that time because it only makes him think of work(also no one but Noodle knows he does this)

And to add on to him and his S/O's music, Russel likes to suggest his S/O's music but he's very sublet about it

Besides actually collaborating as a work thing, he likes to help his S/O with their songs, whether it be helping with lyrics, what instruments to use, or with beats- though he rarely does this as he is usually he is exhausted with making music from work

He's overall just really chill about it in general, he's doesn't mind that your a soloist, and out of everyone he's the most neutral in that category

Though Russel sometimes jokes about how he's jealous that you don't have to deal with band mates and that he wishes he was a solo act or that he was in a band with his S/O instead

I mean Russel loves his band mates but sometimes they can be down right obnoxious *cough* 2D *cough* Murdoc

Also Russel likes helping his S/O pick out their stage outfit/make up for live performances and/or music videos

Hoi, im Reika. Welcome to my blog.! I write Gorillaz headcanons, and here’s my simple do and don’t list. (you may have also known me as Harami. I fell out from the community for quite some time (even fell out of tumblr!) and I’ve slowly but surely been more active.) enjoy.!

What I’m willing to write :

I do Y/N | S/O x Gorillaz characters. Will try my hardest to make them gender neutral as possible, I swear (unless specified gender in request). Also, for a heads up, I do not do Sebastian, Paula, or Hannibal (might change overtime, but don’t get your hopes up).

I also do Character x Character. I don’t really care much who you pair tbh. Though I will not write Noodle in this category as I am uncomfortable with pairing Noodle with the other band members and the others. (Eg. 2nu, NuRuss, NuDoc, ect.)

I do NSFW. I am improving my writing quality on this.

•The man absolutely HATES the feeling of sand on his feet so he will be wearing his iconic boots.

•If you decide to wear a more revealing outfit to the beach, he will be feral. And try and pick fights with anyone who so much as looks at you wrong.

•If you splash him while you're swimming together he will tackle you into the water and make his silly grumpy Murdoc noises because you ruined his hair.

•Old man gets tired fast so he won't be in the water for too long.

•He tries to keep his eyes off of other people but he can't help himself sometimes! If you catch him staring at someone, he reminds you that he loves you and only you.

•Will give you so many cuddles and acts of physical affection just to show you off.

•He will be pushing children's sand castles over.

•Absolutely will not build a sandcastle with you.

Stuart '2D' Pot

•He both loves and hates the beach.

•He loves it because he enjoys the water and all the fun activities you can do at a beach like building sand castles.

•But he hates it because of everything that happened at Plastic Beach.

•Speaking of sandcastles, PLEASE build one with him. He will be so happy.

•Will definitely love having a splash fight with you! Until you get water in his eye.

•Please don't mention whales, he will start to panic and there's a good chance he will start crying.

•If you cuddle him on the shore he will fall asleep. He can't help himself when the sun is so warm and you're so soft!

•If there's a popsicle stand nearby keep an eye on him. He will run over there and buy every sweet item he can, then devour them in a few minutes.

•He will refuse to bring an extra pair of clothes, if you don't bring an extra pair, there's a good chance he will get overstimulated because of the sand.

Russel Hobbs

•He doesn't like to swim in the ocean because of Plastic Beach.

•But he will stay on shore and watch you swim (if you want to swim).

•He will absolutely love to build a sandcastle with you!

•He will pack a little basket full of your favorite food so you can have a picnic on the beach!

•Russel will definitely try and catch a crab or two.

•If he does catch a crab he shows it to you and lets it go as soon as he can so he doesn't hurt it.

•Please sit in his lap, he loves to hold you while you're sitting in his lap.

•Expect a lot of forehead kisses.

Noodle

•She will bring pool floaties for sure.

•Especially the big obnoxious ones.

•Noodle will definitely build a sandcastle with you! But she will always ask you if she can smash it after.

•If you give her permission to smash the sandcastle, she will make little noises while she breaks it!

•When she's done breaking the sandcastle, she will always ask if you two can build another one.

•She likes to hold onto you, especially in public so that everyone knows that you are hers and aren't up for grabs.

•She especially loves to wrap her arm around your waist while you two walk.

•If anyone says you're friends or anything along those lines, she's quick to tell them that you're dating!

Ace Copular

•He likes going to the beach at night.

•If the beach closes before midnight, he has no problem with trespassing.

•He just loves to watch the stars with you while laying on the beach!

•He does like going to the beach during the daytime though.

•That's only because it's warm enough for you to wear less clothing.
