September Streakin', Day 6!

Another night run on the books 💙 Took it easy today and just enjoyed the ride.

I’ve been away from running for awhile. I want to blame graduate school, but it’s not what’s entirely at fault. I’ve been super unmotivated to run for about a year, which made me so so sad.

Not running has made me realize how much joy running has brought to my life. I’ve been scared and intimidated to start again because I’m back to the basics. But I’m so so excited to begin, and bring that joy back, which I’ve put off for so long.

I’ve decided to start with the runners world run streak, which is actually how I started to prep for my first half marathon.

I want to hold myself accountable through this blog, which I’ve done in the past. It might not be a picture every day but I’ll do my best.

After another 3 miles for Day 2, dialed up 4 miles for Day 3. These miles use to seem so much easier to come by back in the day😂

Dachte es ist mal an der Zeit für ein kleines Update hier in Sachen #gutevorsätze #sportlicheaktivitäten usw. Also ich muss sagen, trotz einiger Schwierigkeiten (z.B. 2x umgeknickt mit geschwollenem Knöchel, Wetter …) bin ich immer noch dabei. Heute war #streakrunning Tag No. 73 🙌🏻 🏃🏻‍♀️ Zugegeben, dieses Jahr waren es auch des öfteren mal nur Kleine Strecken… Die über 200 km von Januar 2022 hab ich nicht geknackt (waren in diesem Januar nur gut 138 km) aber ich halte länger durch… Letztes Jahr bin ich bis Ende Februar gelaufen, bevor meine Serie gerissen ist.
