I know the Star Wars (1998) and Republic comics are well over 20 years old now, and maybe I’m bias because I love the dynamic of Quintress, but in Legends ,Quinlan Vos and Ros Lai should of been a couple. They could be a morally grey murder duo, and I just wanted more Ros Lai. She was too cool of a character to be in just one arc
They’d be such an interesting pair too, would they make each other worse? Would they make each other better? They really parallel each other quite well

How would the ROs react to a smol MC that would often lie down on the ground feeling to sad to move and the ROs only option would pretty much be carrying them

Antara is not surprised and will carry you without even thinking twice, using this as an opportunity to flirt. Would carry you in a bridal style.
Rajinder will keep walking and leave you behind, but when they realize that you aren't following them, they will turn back and pick you up like a sack of potatoes. However, in a more advanced relationship, will carry you in bridal style.
Yueling will get extremely confused. They will try making you to get up, then they will try lifting you, threaten to leave, and in the end, drag you away. But after a few times, they will just give up and offer you a piggy back whenever you want.
F will probably think you got sick and panic. In the end, they would carry you on their back, but only if you could hold their umbrella for them.
As soon as Aza sees you starting to lay down on the floor, she will pick you up and put you under her arm as if it were something normal that you do every day.
Douglas would lay down with you.

He speaks as if he hasn't just waltzed up to this woman, with these tattoos, and this look to him, so blatantly obvious as a Nightbrother. Feral hopes his funeral has more subtly.
People don't like it when someone is 'friends' with a Jedi. But most people are wise to ignore that fact about Ros Lai now that they knew she doesn't need to get all that close to make them writhe on the ground, clutching at their throats while choking on darkened blood. So, repercussions in Hutt Space aren't something she worries about. Because of her own abilities and because Ziro the Hutt had owed her a favor when she was finally let out of prison, and that means she is to be left alone by thugs and smugglers alike.
This man doesn't look like neither a thug nor a smuggler.
Maroon eyes turned away from her glass and towards him, peeking at him curiously through strands of curly, bright red hair that managed to free themselves from the confines of her purple cloak's hood. A Nightbrother. No doubt about that. So far away from Dathomir.
Then again, so is she.
She takes a deep breath, almost like she's breathing him in. Though it isn't necessary to do so to know exactly what branch of the witches she comes from, the tattoos and the way he speaks to her —with underlying hesitation, like he thinks he shouldn't— give it away. One of Mother Talzin's men.
Even Ros Lai —as isolated as she'd been— had known about how Mother Talzin and her witches liked to keep their men. It was, as far as she'd heard, not something her own mother and sisters had agreed with. Not because of any appreciation for their more sturdy counterparts, but because to Mother Zalem, men just hadn't been allowed to be a part of their tribe. The sisters left and returned bearing child. If it was a girl, she would become a witch; if it was a boy, he would be sold or traded with the other clans– sometimes even adopted, as from what she remembered at least one clan did regard the men as equal. If it was like Ros Lai, it would be left to die in the jungle.
Dathomir life is tough. It's why it isn't common to see others from her world around the galaxy. A witch and a Nightbrother walk into a cantina. The butt of the joke is out there, somewhere.
"Depends on who asks, and what they want to know." she shifted to face him fully. "And what they have to offer in exchange."

god. one thing i LOVE about amir that he has no self preservation. i was thinking abt the episode GIRLS. specifically the moment where the 2 girls at the bar say amir looks better but amir is like - “um no its obviously jake ur wrong” and jake agrees…
it got me thinking…. Thinking about how much amir is willing to take for himself vs how much hes willing to go for jake, yknow? like amir gets mad sometimes when he perceives an “insult” but its not bc hes defending himself as much as he is acting out. but amir actively DEFENDS jake when it comes to some traits he doesnt even TRY to defend in himself - his looks(girls as mentioned, and subtle comments like Swag where hes like “i only hang out with the hottest guys”)… how people address jake (like in Ice Breakers, Bitcoin, jake’s sick). there are exceptions to defending jake but to me those arent really about something like jake’s personality/looks that he cant change, and more a reaction about how he treats amir (trust fall 2) or jake acting like J-Witz for other ppl (some insecure jake eps, esp the recent ones)
And for the most part he plays along with Jake being the better one of the two. Ace and Jocelyn… hes the SIDEKICK. “You consider me dumb!” In normal conversation. Going along with being the Troll Named Rod in Tiny Wings. APOLOGIZING TO JAKE IN CORDUROY PANT. In Table Read where ALL his main characters ARE JAKE…!! Small things like that. He KNOWS and WILLINGLY ACCEPTS his role as being the guy who gets beat up and looks like shit to everyone else because who CARES about their opinions when ONLY jake’s matters??
in a weird way, he’s entirely selfless. amir doesnt do things for the benefit of himself. like yeah. he has murderous tendencies. he hurts people. but all of it is either for attention (mainly to be able to tell a story to Jake), random insane urges(<3), or a form of like??? overdoing stuff which self sabotages him????? Which he’s aware of vaguely????
its just… amir holds such little value on his own appearance, life, and wellbeing to the point where he just doesn’t consider he matters. him being hurt and betrayed is another tuesday. But he would defend jake no matter what. because jake doesnt DESERVE that. and whys that? its because amir LOVES him. because amir loves jake and that CLEARLY means he deserves everything. all his self love goes to jake. even if it hurts him in the long run or makes him look dumb. yknow. because whatever. who cares. EVERYTHING hurts anyways and whats another day hurting himself??? And that fucking makes me INSANE.

this turned wayyy angstier than I anticipated I promise this specific situation just hit a very specific note- they’d usually all be goofballs together 😔
Atlas: This is quite possibility the worst thing MC could do but despite that he doesn’t…. notice it right away? Possibly because he runs very cold, possibly because the turtleneck is in the way, but he still visibility tightens up, so it’s clear that he felt it at least a little. Once he realizes, he fixes MC with his signature freakish glare and growls at them never to do that again before he removes himself from the situation entirely. What a weirdo.
Puck: Visibly jumps and yelps, instantly putting their hands to the back of their neck as they turn to look to MC. Gives them the kind of half-exhausted smile that makes it very clear that they’re internally slapping you on the head with their shoe, then laughs it off a bit. Ends up lightheartedly scolding them in a way where it’s clear that they intend to get revenge whenever MC is least expecting it. Two can play this game.
Skye: Genuinely jumps like a foot or two off the ground, clings onto the nearest surface as she checks to see what jumped her with wide eyes. Laughs in relief once she realizes what’s happening and after interrogating MC, jumps after them, determined to get them back in a less devious way, either to tickle them until they cry or to chase them around the nearest block with a gross sewer stick. Spooking the most energetic person ever has consequences.
Reese: Without turning he whips an arm around and tries to clothesline MC, cursing them out for the shock and will fully wrestle them if MC is able. Despite the immature turn, he’s genuinely super upset about this and curses MC out, yelling at them never to scare him again like that. Once he takes a second to cool off, he’s back to normal, but won’t bring it up again. Please don’t bring it up again.

I think it's interesting to imagine f!Imre, but in my opinion it wouldn't be worth putting it in the story now. Besides being very boring for you to code, I think the story is so perfect to change something in the characters, for me I can't see Imre as a female, just as I can't see a male version Nia route, but that's just my opinion what I wanted to give
Yeah it’s not something that I’m ever going to do in the story. Those characters aren’t changing and t would inspire nothing in me and I wouldn’t see those versions are true versions of the characters, more like paper copies to please some people.
For me Imre was always going to be a boy and Nia a girl and Lorcan a boy too. It just felt natural to them.

everytime i read or hear someone say they hated TLJ because it took away the hopeful aspect of star wars I'm – I'm? Did we watch the same movie? It's there. The thing is that sometimes hope stumbles and fall. We get weary and sometimes fall down a rabbit hole and it seems that there's no way out – but there is. Hope always prevails. Hope and love and the will to do good by each other. It's all in the movie. Just... put your neurons to work and truly watch the narrative? It's all there. It's barely subtle. It's also the middle movie of a trilogy in which, narratively, is when characters are supposed to stumble a bit.
#not gonna tag this as star wars bc sequels haters are annoying as fuck#and blaming rj for the luke thing is kinda stupid too#like. the previous movie literally opens up to “luke skywalker has vanished”#it wasn't rj's doing. he just had to figure out what the fuck could be seem as such a crippling failure that would luke of all people#to give up#and personally i think he did a great job out of the writing bind jj layed out without thinking#plus the fact he had to cram +6 story arcs in a single movie at the same time#RoS is another thing completely#anyway all of this to say that i am in jj abrams' walls and i will shove my arm inside his ass when i can#imagine being so childish that you undo all the work layed out before bc you don't like who did it
