Ritsu Sakuma x Reader ♡ Tags: Fluff, established relationship, casual romance, really wholesome, INTRO IS REALLY LONG, SORRY!, she/her pronouns ♡ Word count: 2,215 ♡ Synopsis: Inspired by the Meowsketeers scout story in which this card is featured in. I've been trying to read the scout stories since I never read them, and I thought that this one would be cute to add the reader in! Please note that this fic does not stay true to the story, but it has taken bits from it. A/N: There needs to be more Ritsu x reader fics.

Drenched in sweat, Ritsu slowly woke up from his nap in the ES gardens. His mind was still filled with thoughts of what happened the other day when Tsukasa confronted and withdrew some of the new members of Knights.

Ritsu pitied them, but what was said was the mere truth. That's the way Knights operated, it was never a unit to have fun with as an idol. But seeing those tearful faces did take a toll on him.

At that moment, Ritsu felt something heavy weighing on him. It wasn't what happened that day, but something physical that he could feel near his stomach.

'Who is it? Am I being attacked? It's not those pranks Tsukipi set up, right?' he thought tiredly. Unless it's (Y/N)...? No... she said she'd be busy today–

Ritsu was getting annoyed. "Hold on. You don't disturb people when they're sleeping!" he groaned. "Now I'm in a bad mood... Don't mess with me– Huh?"

Eyes wide open, Ritsu found that on his stomach was a black cat.

"Ugh, so it was this guy!" he fumed. "Get off! You're heavy and it's too hot...!"

Yet the cat wouldn't budge. It stayed lying on Ritsu's stomach as if he were a pillow. Ritsu wasn't having any of it though, no one dares disturb his sleep even if they were a cat! Getting angrier by the second, he decided to fight it off him.

"Hey! Ow! Don't dig your claws in me!"

"That Suo, he's late!" exclaimed Leo. "What a troublesome guy! I came early today since he gets angry at me when I come late."

"Unbelievable! He's wasting my precious time!" Izumi chided. "This is so annoying. Did your wanderlust infect Kasa-kun?"

Leo laughed. "Eh? What, what? Wahaha, that's funny, Sena! I suppose it's fate that Knights' leader is to be cursed by wanderlust!"

Frantic footsteps could be heard as Tsukasa barged into the studio panting. He apologised, mentioning to his seniors that he got involved in a little incident with Ritsu. That was when Ritsu entered the room, still arguing with the black cat he encountered outside.

"I told you to let go of me, didn't I?! Why can't you understand me, you stupid cat?!" Ritsu growled. "Do my clothes smell like catnip or something...?"

"A stray cat got attached to Ritsu-senpai and it won't let go of him," stated Tsukasa.

"Unbelievable. This was why you were late?" said Izumi. "There's got to be some way to pull it off. Just grab it by the neck like how a parent cat carries a kitchen– Owah! This guy tried to scratch me! If you were human, I'd have you pay compensation!"

Arashi suggested that they all calm down and get started on the retrospective – the reason why they were holding a meeting in the first place. If they ignore the cat, perhaps it would let Ritsu go!

But as Arashi started playing the video of their live, Leo noticed something. In the video, Leo pointed out the front row seats where beside a fan's feet, a black cat was seen.

"This guy, it saw Ritsu at Knights' live and came to meet him!" said Leo excitedly.

"Hah...? No way! That sounds so unrealistic," Ritsu replied before turning to the cat which started showing him affection. "Owah, what? Don't start licking my cheek!"

"Given its reaction, it probably did come to meet Knights," said Tsukasa. "Isn't it just the cutest? It probably fell in love with Ritsu-senpai's brave figure at the live!"

"What?! Don't say things so nonchalantly!"

But the other members of Knights had agreed to let the cat do what it wanted despite Ritsu's comments on how much of a disaster this was.

The cat didn't let go of him even during the retrospective. It lay sound asleep on Ritsu's lap. Knights had come up with a name for the cat too, 'd'Artagnyan', their 'newest knight that was drawn in by Knights.'

Ritsu didn't like this idea at all. He didn't see any resemblance between him and the cat that his fellow members were constantly pointing out too. Though, he didn't want to just kick it out. He wanted it to leave on its own volition.

"It clings to you like how you cling onto (Y/N)," stated Arashi causing Ritsu to erupt into a steam of embarrassment. "Maybe it finds your scent comforting~? If so, it might be satisfied with something that has Ritsu-chan's scent on it..."

"Something with my scent?" Ritsu repeated. "Ah, I just came to an unpleasant conclusion..."

He was talking about his favourite blanket – the only thing in this studio that had his scent on it. But there was no way that Ritsu wanted to give this unlucky cat his favourite blanket!

"Ah, wait! Don't suddenly pounce for my blanket, you idiot cat!" huffed Ritsu as he tried to yank the blanket away. He was now on the floor fighting with the cat. "Give it back! I don't want such an unlucky cat to use my blanket! Guys, please help me out here!"

"Oi, oi. There's no need to get so worked up over something like this, right, Ritsu?" said Leo. "I know it's annoying, but it'll be dangerous if you get violent in here, no?"

"But I really like this blanket! I won't allow it to use it! Ah, don't scratch it–"

"Please calm down, Ritsu-senpai...!" sputtered Tsukasa.

But before Izumi could assert himself to scold Ritsu, you had rushed into the studio. Arashi had texted you about the situation before they started their retrospective, hoping that you'd come to solve the issue at hand. After all, you solved a lot of their problems before, it became customary to ask you for help.

"Ritsu, are you okay?" you asked worriedly, bending down. "Hey, what's wrong? You're not usually like this."

"(Y-Y/N)?!" Ritsu blurted, perplexed at your sudden appearance. "W-What are you doing here?"

You answered that even though you were busy with your own assignments today, you couldn't just ignore what was happening with Knights, with him.

"Is this what's bothering you?" You tried picking up the cat, but it immediately started hissing at you. "Ah! Okay, I'm not going to pick you up then...! Anyway, Arashi texted me all the details already. Why don't you just give up the blanket, Ritsu?"

"N-No!" he cried. "I can't!"

"I don't understand why you like that blanket so much," said Izumi. "I'll buy you a new one if that makes you happy–"

"That's not it! (Y/N) bought me this one!"

Everyone had gone silent over that fact.

"Then I'll buy you a new one," you offered.

"No!" Ritsu protested. "You got this for me when we were first years! I can't just let that go!"

Ritsu usually wasn't this worked up, so you knew he was upset about something other than his blanket. But you also knew that he was a very sentimental person too, so you couldn't just force him to give up something that he truly loved. It was sweet that he had kept this blanket up until now though. It showed how much he loved you.

"I have an idea," you suddenly said. You rummaged through your bag and pulled out a white sweater. "This also has Ritsu's scent on it."

"Wait," Ritsu began. "That's my sweater."

"Mhm, my favourite one too!" you giggled. "If we give the cat this, then it'll give up on the blanket!"

"B-But (Y/N), you love that sweater...!" he said.

"I do, but you love that blanket too, right? I'll give this up so you can have your blanket back!"

With how selfless and thoughtful you were being, Ritsu had finally cooled down.

"N-No, it's fine," he said sadly. "I'll let it keep the blanket, you keep the sweater, okay? I'm sorry, everyone, I went overboard. I didn't mean to hurt anyone."

"Ritsu..."

He picked up his blanket with the cat still attached to it and left the building quietly. The meeting with Knights had come to an end. You sighed, apologised and thanked Knights for putting up with your boyfriend before following after him.

Ritsu was situated on one of the tables at the ES gardens, his head laid on his arms as he watched the black cat sleep in his blanket.

"It's my fault that Knights ended up fighting again... If only this cat hadn't been there. No, I should've been calmer..." he murmured. "It would've been better if I had analysed the situation calmly like I usually do, and brought it to a positive conclusion..."

"Ritsu~" you called out.

With the sound of your voice, his eyes immediately gravitated towards you. He didn't lift his head though, he was too tired for that.

"(Y/N)..."

"Here," you said, pressing a cold can of soda to his cheek. He cried at the coldness but quickly covered his mouth from being too loud. He didn't want to wake up the cat despite how annoying it was today.

"Ah, thank you..." he said, taking the can from you. He laid it in front of him, not opening it. "(Y/N), I'm really sorry about earlier. You were busy, and Nacchan had to call you over to deal with something so small."

"Eh, it's okay~," you said. From behind, you wrapped your arms around his neck, holding him close to you. "I'm nearly finished with my assignments anyway. But Ritsu, are you really okay?"

Ritsu strained a smile, but he held your arm in a way to comfort himself. "I'm fine now. I'm going to sit here and reflect on my actions until this stupid cat wakes up. If I ignored the cat in the studio and it gets restless, it might be even more troublesome."

You laughed. "It's so cute when it's sleeping. It reminds me of you."

"Eeehhh? Why does everyone keep saying that?" he asked.

"Well, it's cute and you're cute! Also, it takes naps just like you, hehe~"

Ritsu sighed but laughed along. "Ah, you're wearing the sweater," he said, finally noticing the baggy look on you.

"Yep! I'm glad I didn't need to give it up in the end, but I do feel sad that you had to give your favourite blanket away," you said.

"It's fine. Maybe it'll let it go later..." he started. "Well, I hope it does anyway. I really do like that blanket..."

He chuckled, reminiscing the time you first got him the blanket. The two of you met just before entering Yumenosaki. You were Mao's friend initially, but he had introduced you to Ritsu during the time he had to repeat his first year. Ritsu had treated you coldly at first, but when you spotted him sleeping in the gardens, coming to know of his illness, you had decided to gift him a blanket for him to use.

It was a blanket you had bought at a shop in town, nothing special, but Ritsu thought the world of it. Even when he treated you so poorly, you were still so nice to him – to accommodate him in this way. He grew fond of the blanket, but he mostly grew fond of you.

After that day, he stuck to you just like the cat he was watching now.

"You know, I'm surprised it's still kept in good condition after all these years," you pointed out. "We're in our third year now... and it still looks brand new."

"I take good care of my things, (Y/N)~," he said. "And I'll be keeping that blanket for as long as I can."

You smiled and gave him a peck on the back of his head. "Anyway, aren't you going to tell me what got you so riled up? It can't just be because of the cat, right?"

"Ah, right..." he said. He opened the can that you gave him and began to drink the contents of it. "So, this is what happened..."

He explained everything to you, recalling what happened that day when they had to withdraw some of the new Knights members. He was honest with his feelings, how bad he felt when he saw those tearful faces, how bad he felt when he knew that those dreams were being crushed.

But after some reassurance from you, Ritsu felt a lot better. That's when Tsukasa showed up to check up on him too. A suggestion of finding foster parents for the cat was brought up which Ritsu agreed to.

By time, he grew fond of the cat albeit he still wanted it gone. But things had resolved themselves, and Ritsu was back to his calm, analytical self again.

You had come to say goodbye to the cat, d'Artagnyan, too. This time, it had let you hold it.

"Hehe, it really does remind me of you," you told Ritsu who immediately turned red. "Don't miss Ritsu too much, you hear me~? I hope you live a comfortable life."

Watching you be so gentle with the cat like that had Ritsu feeling some sort of way. He smiled gently to himself, appreciating that you were there with him, that you were there to console him and to listen to every word he had to say. There was nothing better in this world – even his favourite blanket – that would compare to you.

- he'll try to find s/o anywhere he could since he felt all bubbly everytime he's staying near them, he wanted to know what is he feeling - upon finding them, he'll probably jumped and called out for the whole world to hear - " s/o !! there you are, my inspiration !! my muse !!~ " - they were confused so much, ended up standing there and looking weirdly at leo - still smiles sweetly at him - again, he felt the bubbly feeling inside him - leo felt content only looking and staying by their side - believe me, he'll never stop being by s/o side— not until he finds out what he's feeling

- he knew it the first time he felt it— believe me, he'll still teases s/o and say bad thing; it's his nature after all (i love him sm slapped) - maybe he'll either confess or not - your choice - but his life is not the same anymore; he's acting weird - his tsundere is showing too much - fellow knights member noticed the change - except for the person themself - sena can't help but always say something to them and sometimes, accidently made s/o cry - cue the knights members being angry at him - he's having a hard time since he knew he has a crush on them

- this beauty here !! darling is so sweet - always gives affection to s/o - but when naru had a crush on them, love and affection everywhere overloads - somehow the love and affections being showered on s/o was not an odd thing anymore - they were basically being oblivious as naru-chan tried to show her love to them - damn too sweet is all i see - i can describe no more //kisses her cheeks

- sleep, huggies and desserts - he asks s/o to join him in short naps - they were was shocked but obliged - he uses their laps as his pillow - " i think i have a crush on you... " - he blurted out - they were confused but they got the message - would even spend more time with him if asked - since their feeling is mutual towards him too

- this baby boy here doesn't know how to act around his producer anymore - he'll stumble upon his words - s/o laughs at his cuteness - they'll play and spoil him nonstop - kasa got fumes running out of his ears while red tinted his cheeks - " p-producer !! please stop !! " - no, they won't stop - his crush for them bloom until one day he had the courage to tell them - " producer, can i call you [name] ? " - bewilderment covered their face - they understood why he asked that and they teased him afterward

- he's mischievous - will probably pull pranks to make s/o notice him - troubles - yuta will only sigh in the background - " yuta-kun, hinata-kun is acting weird... " - he'll get complaints from s/o since they felt uncomfortable by his sudden change - hinata said sorry and showered them with nonstop sweets due to his sweet tooth - found this side of him is cute - slowly, they got closer and damn - hinata was proud of himself - cue yuta watching from afar silently supporting his brother

- this boy here may be having a problem when he knew he has a crush on s/o - since he's the opposite of his brother, who's filled with mischief all the time– yuta tends to get in trouble with having a crush on s/o - totally - he's a sweet baby (everyone is idc) - yuta would would be seen snooping around looking at s/o - " s/o, are you alright ? " - he once found them moody and he brightened their day with spicy food - but they loved it and appreciated the kind gesture - probably hinata got jealous over the affection his brother gave to their producer

★彡Soft hours with Arashi and Ritsu

a/n: HI long time since I wrote cause school started and istg it is kinda painful cause I hardly had time but I did this during my study breaks!! When u see this I’m prob trying to stuff biology in my head

♡ Arashi braiding your hair

Quiet afternoons or evenings with you and her seated in front of the television, the sounds coming from it are hardly heard as the two of you are lost in the conversations you two share.

“How was your day, y/n?” She asks softly, enveloping you in a hug. That’s how she always greets you, trapping you locked between her arms. Sometimes she gives you a little peck on the cheek.

Her hands slowly reaching towards the loose strands that tickled her neck when she hugged you, she twirls them in her fingers while listening closely to every word that you have to say.

“Your hair is so soft…y/n” her soft fingers, intertwining your hair softly, careful not to tug to hard. By now, she has already finished braiding your hair into braids, small strands threatening to spill out of the braid.

“Why don’t you help me style my hair too?” She passes you a clip, and bends her head down slightly, prompting you to do so.

♡ Ritsu warming himself up

As usual, Ritsu came over to your house and immediately snuggled up on your couch to attempt to keep warm, especially with the slightly chilling weather.

So you made your way to the kitchen to prepare a snack for Ritsu when he wakes up, it would be a good surprise for Ritsu when he finally wakes up.

However, when you were assembling the biscuits, a pair of arms snaked around your waist, underneath your oversized sweater. “Eek!” You shrieked lightly when the freezing fingertips tapped against your stomach.

“Couch… cuddles… really cold” Of course it was Ritsu, clinging onto your waist. His breath warm against your skin. He snuggles his head further into your waist. “Back to the couch” he mumbles further.

He takes your hand and slowly leads you back to the couch and soon enough you find yourself in his embrace.

予約 (L/N) (Y/N), famous utaite who made a group, ‘For 1 The Rose’. Their happiness and enthusiasm to their singing is contagious, and being a well known ‘happy virus’, they make their goal to bring smiles to peoples’ faces. Once their group and NewDi’s ‘Knights’ have a collaboration song announced, (Y/N) makes it their goal to bring everyone into one harmony. Will they succeed? Or will they pull that one knight with black hair and red eyes?

Sakuma Ritsu, a member of the famous unit, ‘Knights’. His sleepiness and slight laziness somehow charms many of his fans. First finding disinterest in the collaboration, he finds the collaboration almost useless until he meets (U/N), who piques his interest. Maybe this collaboration wasn’t useless. Finding a smile on his face, he decides to ‘pursue’ (Y/N), though finding it difficult with how their actions seem so platonic.

hello makuuu! can i request ritsu having a princess-like s/o? to not confused you, let's just say that she's a refined, wise, and a kind person. and sometimes she dresses like a princess too! she always wear something like... vintage dresses? or maybe something like cottagecore? for her daily clothes. ritsu tends to tease her by acting like a true knight, bowing and kissing her hands when he meet her, which always leave his s/o getting so flustered about it 🥺

Ritsu was a very laid-back person, never really wanted attention drawn to him or around him. So it's quite ironic that his beloved is somebody who is living in their own fantasy... but with that love blinding his sight, he could care less when it comes to you.

It always tugs at his heartstrings when you walk around regally, speaking politely, and overall acting like a queen from the storybooks. And those beautiful, fluffy and frilly dresses fit you so well Ritsu sometimes forget that it's not normal casual wear, but of course he doesn't bother to remember.

Plus, how he acts around you! He finds it so adorable when you get so flustered when he bows to kiss your hand, treating you like the royalty you are in his eyes. Just seeing your calm expression crumble into an embarrassed mess has him floating.

A knight must be loyal to his lady, after all. So as long as he can tease you as much as he wants, he won't be leaving your side anytime soon <3

Could you write Ritsu with a S/O who's similarly as sleepy as he is? His S/O is a part of another unit, but the two are often together and it isn't rare to see them napping together. Knights frequently has to drag their beloved strategist and his S/O out of the corners of Yumenosaki just so they both can get to practice on time~ (bonus points if it's implied Ritsu's partner also is a vampire <3)

Word count: 1103 Summary: Ritsu and his s/o are late to rehearsals again. Busy doing what? Napping, of course. Notes: written in second person! I usually stick to third, but~ well. Both the reader and Ritsu are heavily implied to be Actual Vampires :>

People often say "opposites attract", but in your case, it was, well, the opposite of that. Ritsu and you were considered to be so alike, it was scary at times, and the phrase "like two peas in a pod" flew around a lot to describe your relationship. And nobody used it more than the other members of Knights, the unit Ritsu was part of. Indeed, it was often up to them to track you both down when you'd decided to ditch practice for a "date" - what you called the wonderfully adventurous activity that was napping together. Considering how you seemed to always be on the same level of energy, it wasn’t a surprise that this was your day-date activity, and the actually adventurous dates were left reserved for the dead of the night, though nobody knew what it was that you did then, either.

All this to say, you were even now cuddled up together, safe in the shade of one of the large trees that beautified the landscape of the Yumenosaki school grounds. Sound asleep. Unknowing of how much stress both your unit and the Knights were going through trying to track you both down. No, instead, you lie together on the grass, your school bag functioning as your pillow, while your middle was Ritsu’s own cushion. And as your fingers absentmindedly tangled in his hair, a continuing movement from since you were just about to be lulled into dreamland, the only sounds around were the chirping of birds, the rustling of the tree you laid under in the light spring breeze, and the soft breathing of a sleeping couple. It was truly to be a perfect day.

That is, until you heard a familiar voice calling you back from dreamland. “Ritsu-chan!” an exasperated sigh escaped the intruder’s mouth as she shook her fellow Knight’s shoulders. “Mmh~ Five more minutes, Nacchan…” Ritsu mumbled in response, only clinging to your waist tighter. “No! We have practice! You’ve slept enough… and you, too, come on,” Arashi, satisfied with the fact that Ritsu was at least conscious now, considering he was answering her, moved onto you. “Wake up~! Or else - I’ll tickle you!” Her fingers threateningly hovered above your face as she wiggled them, assuring you she was serious. With Ritsu’s arms and legs wrapped tightly around you, it was nearly impossible to move, but you did your best to motion to Arashi that you’d awoken. “I’m awake,” you croaked out. “I’m awake, so don’t tickle me…” “Wake your boyfriend up, then.” Arashi crossed her arms, huffing. “I’m gonna run now since I gotcha both up, and that took me a good fore~ver, but I better see him at practice in no more than ten minutes! You, too. Your unit has rehearsals right after ours, after all.”

True to her words, she sent you both an air kiss before skipping off. Despite her appearance and carriage, you knew, as well as Ritsu, that she was showing you mercy. She could easily have dragged you both away herself. But this way you had more time to spend together, and you were thankful to her for that. “Did you hear Arashi? Come on, up, up.” You poked Ritsu’s cheek lightly, to which he further burrowed his face into your stomach. “I’m still tired,” he tickled you by speaking into your skin. And as you wiggled away, his grip loosened, allowing you to roll out from under him. “Can’t we take another quick catnap? If I run, I’ll still make it in time.” "You know we can't do that." As your voice trailed off, you let out a quick yawn. But, forgetting to put a hand over your mouth had Ritsu, with a giggle, hook his pinkie over your protruding canine, pulling on it (and you towards him) lightly. "That's rude." He laughed at how you swatted his hand away, blushing and flustered. "Like you've never yawned like that… I’ll bite you next time you do that, okay?" "You're cute when you get all huffy like that." No matter what you did or said, Ritsu only ever looked at you like that. Like your entire existence was a blessing to him. His eyes soften every time they fall on you, and his gaze can truly only be described as "lovestruck", but he never tried to hide it. In fact, he wanted you to notice the way he looks at you, like a masterpiece. "You're so cute," he repeated.

“Can I at least get a kissy?” he pouted. You had already gotten to your feet, straightening out your uniform and making sure everything was proper and neat. He, on the other hand, was still sitting in the grass, rubbing his eyes drowsily. It always took him some time to fully wake up. “Fine, you can,” you indulged him, knowing it was the quickest way to get him motivated to do some work. But it was truly just a quick kiss - a chaste peck on his cheek. And though he feigned disappointment, he was satisfied with that as well. “Hey, nap here tomorrow again? Same time?” He stood up with some difficulty, brushing the stray grass off his trousers. “I’ve re~ally missed you, yanno? It feels like we hang out so little since they’ve ramped up our rehearsals.” “Same time, same place,” you agreed, linking your hand with his as you began the trek back. “I’ve missed you, too…”

You walked in silence for a minute before an idea popped into Ritsu’s head. With the thoughts swirling, of how little time you’ve had to to hang out, they mixed with the thoughts of how you’re both nocturnal in nature… and how neither of you have any duties at night-time. “Do you wanna go… hunting tonight?” “With you?” “With me.” “Like a date?” “... Yeah, like a date. Do you want to?” “Where do you want to go hunting?” “We can just walk around. See who- what comes up. What do you think?” Although he was supposed to already be used to it, knowing he’s your boyfriend already, Ritsu never got used to asking you for dates. It still made him just as nervous as the first time he asked you out, the fear of rejection seeping into his heart even though he knew you’ve already accepted him as yours.

And, as always, his fears were unfounded. Your lips met his softly, sweetly, just for a second. “Is that a yes?” he asked, still. You threw a grin his way, and the fangs that matched his own twinkled brightly, as if answering on their own. “It’s a date!”

Summary. Headcanons on how I think Ritsu pushing your wheelchair for the first time would go!

⤷ I was thinking about being Switch’s 4th member with a wheelchair on stage, and then my mind went over how Ritsu would push me around… So those headcanons are drawn from my real-life experience as a wheelchair user! I love all of my fellow wheelchair users, you are so cool! Especially if you can do those tricky moves… I am in awe. Please teach me your ways.

› Before going out, you inform Ritsu that you don’t have much energy today, and if he really wants to hang out, he’ll have to push you at some point. His initial reaction is to groan; his poor self is on two hours of sleep, how can you expect so much from him? He tries to bribe you by pulling your arm and tugging on it, as if doing so will give you the equivalent of 7 hours of sleep of energy, and eventually gives up, sighing and agreeing to help later.

Eventually, your arms give out, and Ritsu, surprisingly, accommodates smoothly. You flap the ache away from your hands and reach for your gloves now that you don’t need them on the wheels (you still have trouble rolling with gloved hands since they slip over the ramp), and Ritsu gives himself a quick pep talk before pushing you. The wheelchair is heavy, and he whines about it and stops far too often, yet Ritsu doesn’t struggle as much as you both expected.

While waiting to cross the street, he leans over your shoulder to talk face to face and almost misses the light turning green. He develops the habit of reaching out to pat your shoulder when you hiss from pain, and asks in a timid voice if he’s rolling too fast. You reassure him, it’s only a random spike of pain out of his control, and he makes a sound of acknowledgement, unsure how to help further than a redundant ‘sorry’.

Overall, Ritsu is much calmer; he doesn’t whine and appears to enjoy assisting you. When you return home, he starts weeping about his poor hurting arms and how he’ll never engage in anything that requires such muscle activity again—and then he casually announces that you’re welcome to reach out to him if you ever need someone to push your wheelchair on bad days again.

Ritsu is more cautious about who assists you after that day. As in, if anyone else who never has pushed you before asks if they can help, he questions them—job-requirement style—to ensure they are the right person to help you.

A more random thought: Ritsu seeks out cute stickers to put on your wheelchair because he finds it too bland. (Which, if you’re like me, think so too even if you can’t have it be of a rainbow colour due to sensory problems.) ﹥loading complete. thank you for reading！

Ritsu, being the analytical person he is, notices your shift in attitude. The happiest girl he knew was now drifting away. How is he able to solve this, he wonders...

"(Y/N)~" Ritsu called out to you from across the hallway. "I want a kiss~"

You winced, slowly turning around. There you saw your boyfriend and the rest of his unit making their way to their practice room.

"Hey, don't bother (Y/N)!" snapped Arashi. "Can't you see that she's busy?"

She was right and the stack of books in your arms proved that. You forced out a chuckle but decided not to answer Ritsu's request and walked away.

"Ahaha! What odd behaviour!" Leo pointed out. "She didn't even pay you no mind!"

Ritsu bit his lip. "Is she mad at me?" he murmured to himself.

After practice, Ritsu looked all over the school for you, constantly calling you but never getting a reply. He was getting extremely anxious because not only did he know you as the most happy-go-lucky person that he adored, but because there was that thought in the back of his mind that you were going to leave him.

You were avoiding him after all.

“H-Hey, Maa-kun, have you seen (Y/N) anywhere?” Ritsu panted, hands on his knees as he breathed heavily.

“Woah, there!” Mao exclaimed. “You’re sweating! You’re not one to run around so much. Is (Y/N) okay? I haven’t seen her much today—”

“I don’t know… I think she might be mad at me, but I’m not sure why she would be…” said Ritsu sadly. “She’s not even picking up my calls.”

“Hmm… let me try then.”

Mao scrolled through his contacts until he landed on yours. As the phone rang, the two boys waited for you to answer.

Unprecedentedly, the line was immediately cut.

“Huh, weird. (Y/N) always picks up when I call her,” said Mao, thinking back to the times he had to call you to take care of Ritsu. “Yeah, she might be mad at you. Ritsu—”

“I swear I didn’t do anything,” Ritsu quickly stated. “Argh, I’m going to look again. Bye!”

“Hey, don’t overdo it!”

Ritsu sighed, slumping down by the corner of the Yumenosaki gardens. He looked for you everywhere he could, asking friends and classmates where you went, but none of them knew of your whereabouts.

He couldn't keep running around forever. Ritsu wasn't built for that. So he came to rest for a bit before trying again.

“Ah… I’m tired,” he muttered to himself. “(Y/N)… where are you…?”

His eyelids felt heavy, but before he could fall asleep, his ears picked up the sound of shuffling. He lifted his head up and there you were, backed into the corner, hugging your knees.

The two of you stared at each other in shock, yet Ritsu was the one who broke off the silence.

"(Y/N)!" he exclaimed, crawling towards you. As he took your hands in his, he continued swiftly, "I was looking all over for you! Are you okay? What's wrong? Did I do something that hurt you? I'm sorry. Please don't be mad. I'll fix it–"

You shook your head, an artificial smile forming on your face. "I'm sorry, Ritsu. I just needed alone time... You didn't do anything wrong, I promise."

"T-Then why have you been avoiding me?" he quavered. "You've been ignoring my calls too... (Y/N), you know you can tell me anything, right? You can rely on me – I want you to rely on me..."

You stared into his deep red eyes, the ones that pleaded with you to be honest with him. You let out a sigh, nodding in agreement that talking to him would have been better than bottling these feelings up.

"There's something I never told you about..." you said. "About my past relationship..."

Ritsu looked confused, but stayed quiet for you to continue. Not once did he let go of your hands, and you were thankful for that.

"...The relationship was fine at first, but it gradually became harder to breathe in. He would get mad at everything I did, everything I said. It was like walking on eggshells... There were times I was hurt by it too – mentally and physically."

And as you expected, those red eyes of his looked horrified.

"It was a scary time, but I'm glad I was able to get out. Then I met you." You smiled at him genuinely this time, but it all faded away too quickly. "I didn't think I was ready to get into a new relationship, but you were so sweet, so kind... You made all my worries melt away. I was so happy, but I guess I shouldn't have been."

"(Y/N), what? I don't understand–"

"He found out I was dating you," you stated. "He found out I was attending Yumenosaki, where I live now. He texted me yesterday to insult me because I already got into a new relationship even though it had been a while. He wouldn't leave me alone despite the amount of times I blocked him! He just keeps creating new accounts and numbers. That's why I didn't answer your calls... I-I turned my phone off..."

"(Y/N)..."

"R-Ritsu, I'm so scared...!" you stuttered as tears fell down your cheeks. "I didn't know what to do, so I tried avoiding it... but I'm so scared..."

"Hey..." he said calmly, wiping a tear away with his thumb. "I'm sorry you had to go through that, but thank you for telling me this. I'll handle the rest, okay?"

"H-Huh? But how?"

"Hmm... I'll tell the rest of Knights about it..." he muttered.

"Ritsu, what do you mean by that–"

"Hehe, don't worry about it~"

He stood up and held out his hand. "Come on, let's go back. Lunch is almost over." You hesitated but grabbed his hand as he pulled you up carefully. Once you were on your feet, he embraced you. He held your head to his chest, making you hear his heartbeat.

"You deserve to be happy, so don't worry about it anymore, alright?" he said. "(Y/N), I love you."

Lips pursed in order not to cry any more, you chuckled. "Thank you, Ritsu..." you whispered. "I love you too."

The next day, you stopped receiving those threatening messages from your ex. You wondered how Ritsu did it, but he never answered, leaving you clueless about the whole situation.

However, he did tell you that you shouldn't worry about your ex finding you anymore. He made sure to report the messages to the police with the help of Tsukasa. So now that the police were keeping an eye on him, you were able to relax.

"But what did you guys do anyway?" you asked Knights one day. "Ritsu never told me."

"Uhm– Oh– We didn't do much!" Arashi quickly stated, looking to the side. "We just reported it, that's it!"

"Eh...? Then Tsukasa, can you tell me–"

"I'm sorry, (Y/N), I can't."

"Izumi–"

"Nope."

"Leo?!"

"Not happening, (Y/N)!"

"Why are you all being so secretive?!"

"It's for your own good," Ritsu said sleepily as he entered the room. "(Y/N), can I use you as a pillow?"

You smiled. "Of course, come over here." As you patted your lap, Ritsu made his way over to you. He laid his head down on your legs happily as you began to stroke his hair.

"Can I have a kiss too?" he whispered. "After all, you didn't give me one last time~"

"Okay, okay~"

You leaned down and placed a soft kiss on his lips which he seemed to be very delighted about. You supposed it didn't matter how your boyfriend got your ex to back off. The past was the past, and you were going to leave that behind once and for all.

Anyways, your future was already fast asleep on your lap, lightly snoring away.

"Then.. Uhh.. When, or how did you know that you were in love with me?" You ask, turning your body to look at Ritsu's sleepy little face, which had a lazy smirk plastered on it, with his eyes closed before he decides to reply. "Why do you want to know?" Ah, this little shit.

"I just wanted to ask. In other words, just curious." You shrug, pouting, waiting for an answer— Just as he clears his throat. "That's a difficult question. But if I had to pinpoint it..." The male pauses before continuing, "Ah, I think I know exactly when I started loving you."

"Remember when you started rambling about one of your interests to me..? To be honest, I wasn't really paying attention and I wasn't really interested." He pauses once again, ouch? Before taking a deep breath. "But you kept on talking more and more, and then I got hooked onto your words and how your eyes sparkled everytime you talked about it, I fell more in love, even though I didn't understand a thing. Sooo~ interested and so excited, it was hard to ignore, and that's when I realized.."

"That it was just slowly creeping up to me. I love when you talk about these things, I love how much you care about the little things, those little details that made me fall in love. It didn't matter who came into my sight, you were all I saw. There was nobody I wanted more than just you and your cute self."

Your boyfriend smiles, his eyes squinting closed as he relaxes on top of you. His face seems so soft and gentle right now that you can't even muster a reply, to the point where you feel tears starting to form, from his words.

"You're adorable when you cry," He coos, tucking your front hair behind your ear, "Shut up, stop teasing me." You say in a whisper, tears weren't even dropping down your face yet.

Your boyfriend smirks before replying, "Teasing you? I'm extremely fond of that face. Plus— your little cries are adorable, I could listen to them forever. You're a cute crier, don't pretend otherwise..~"

You hit him playfully, "Then you're just a sadist!"

a/n: Hi anon!! apologies, this took quite a while as i was taking a little break, but i'm back now. I really hope the reader doesn't apply to urself, it's rlly important to take care!

Ever since you were a child, you always had dreams and ambitions to fulfil, however, in the midst of all of your hard work, it wasn’t uncommon for you to accidentally overwork yourself.

Fortunately for you, you have two older brothers, constantly on the look out for your well being.

They always constantly remind you to never overwork yourself. Be it reminding you before they leave for idol activities and school or sending you text messages. The have been doing it since you were little after lol, it was basically routine for them!

Rei is actually the one who is more experienced with take care of overworked people, he really good at getting people to loosen up and don’t forget he also takes care of Ritsu.

Stepping into your messy study room, Rei and Ritsu looked at the large assortment of stationary scattered around the room, papers disorderly piled around a certain sleeping figure. “She overworked herself again… I wish she would just listen to us and take a break” Ritsu sighed shaking his head.

“It’s alright, she’s always been like that, by now I’ve expected it. Especially with how easily she gets sick,yet she’s working so hard.” Rei said, patting your head. As usual, Rei carried you carefully, trying not to wake you up.

Setting you on the bed and covering you up to your neck, Rei motioned for Ritsu to get out of the room to let you sleep, "you can nag at her about not taking care of her well being when she wake up". Ritsu only replied with something along the lines of "like she would listen".

You awoke to the fragrant smell coming from the kitchen, realising you were on your bed? You swear you were practicing for the upcoming test. Entering the kitchen, there sat both your brothers, and a plate of pancakes.

"Dear sister, you ought to get more sleep, eye bags certainly isn't a flattering look on you. " Ritsu remarked, only to be met with your deadpan face. He was being honestly straight forward, as usual. You waved one hand around as if to wave off his remark, and proceed to eat your pancakes.

No matter how much they seemed to nag, both of them really care about you. Even if you work yourself to the bone, they will be there to watch over you until the very end. You're their precious sister after all.

The black haired boy sighs as he looks down at the marbled floor of your house. Deciding to settle down on the corner of the living room, he crouches as he watches the lights reflect off of the grey and white, dancing as if two koi fish were in a pond.

“Ritsu? What are you doing there, c’mon, stand up.”

With an echo, your voice reaches out to him as he reluctantly does so, bringing his bags along.

Yawning, he trudges up to you as he rests his head on your shoulder.

“‘m tired…”

“I know, I know…”

Smiling, you pat his head as you try to get him off of you. With a little bit of effort, he pulls away as you take some of his bags to the guest bedroom.

“Not your bedroom? That’s kinda sad…”

“Ritsu you slept on my bed last time and I didn’t have space to sleep on–”

“We could’ve cuddled but you didn’t.”

Sighing, you turn your way to your bedroom as he smiles in victory, red eyes crinkling into crescent moons. Laughing, he picks his pace up as he reaches the bedroom door faster than you do as he opens the door. Throwing his bags on the floor, he jumps on the bed, once again leaving no space for you to sleep on.

Ritsu pats the small sliver of space as you put his bags at the foot of the bed. Sighing, you usher him to move a little as you sit on the edge.

“No, no (Y/n), we’re gonna cuddle, not sit~”

“I don’t wanna cuddle right now…”

Gasping, Ritsu feigns offense as you chuckle in amusement, giving into his pleas as you lie next to him. His hands make way to you as he pulls you in, drifting off to sleep while you try to take your phone to text your boyfriend’s unit that he’ll be staying with you for a while.

Before you have the chance to open your phone, Ritsu takes the small device as he snaps a quick picture of you two, then settling it down on the other side of the bed. Smiling in content, he settles down in a comfortable position as he sleeps, small snores within hearing range.

“You and your little shenanigans…”

Sighing in both amusement and fatigue, you turn to him as you cuddle him back, drifting off to dreamland.

Opening one eye, Ritsu smiles once again as he snuggles closer.

What a beautiful day indeed.
