you hated riki. you hated him with every ounce of being in you. yet somehow with every passing minute your hate for him seemed to grow, it grew every time another ridiculous phrase left that mouth of his that you swore would never shut, it grew with every foolish joke he made that left you wondering what foreign substance rested in that skull of his if not a brain, it grew even now as you opened your locker, a string of curses leaving your mouth as you slammed it shut within a millisecond, blocking the ridiculous amount of water balloons stuffed in your locker threatening to spill out any second and pop all over you. you let out an exasperated sigh, having not the least bit doubt about who was to blame as you stomped toward the direction of the culprit.

you stood in the doorway of his classroom looking like a wild beast ready to attack, your teeth gritted together, hands balled up into fists as you caught sight of the carefree grin etched onto his face. the classroom in shambles at the sight of your horrific expression as riki walked towards you with a bounce to his step.
โ€œhey loser, did you get my gift?โ€ he asked, his hands buried into his pockets as he tilted his head. resisting the urge to punch the stupid smile off of his face. you settled for a piercing glare instead, praying itโ€™d have the same effect, your eyes grazed over his features, tracing the subtle slope of his nose and scanning over his cheeks that grew pinker by the second down to his plush li- you blinked, snapping yourself out of your thoughts as you gripped the turquoise balloon tighter in your handย โ€œyeah, I did.โ€ you spoke almost in a taunting manner, and before riki managed to utter a single word in reply you threw the ball in the air before sprinting in the opposite direction, riki watching in horror as it plummeted down, popping on his face
