The wise man knows that knowledge is power, and through knowledge one can achieve things that some might deem impossible. Eric Adams is a man of great ambition, determined to unlock the hidden secrets to gaining financial freedom. His approach is novel and his cause is noble, but only time will tell if his path leads to success. With his ideas, he stirs up both hope and concern amongst his peers. He has been seen as both a leader and a threat, but one thing is clear - he is transforming the game, and no one knows what the outcome will be.

By some miracle, Ichiji finds himself having a bunch of missions away from Germa, each right after the other, and in one occasion, he ends up having a really really nice one night stand with a certain raven-haired freckled pirate.
Later, he finds out he got pregnant from said one night stand.
It's too late to do something about it, fortunately, the first one (after him) to find out is Reiju who pushes him to run away from Germa and look for the father of his, turns to be, daughter. Fortunately, again, said daughter looks just like the sire.
When Ichiji meets the spade pirates, not only does his daughter still not have a name (he's been referring to her as 1.5 tho), but also Ace and Deuce got together.
Ace, ofc, won't abandon his newfound daughter (obv he's naming her Rouge), and, ofc, has Ichiji stay with them (as if Ichiji had someone else to go now).
Deuce is, understandably, rather put off by the situation (but his knowledge of Ace's parents-related traumas make him bite his tongue), but he decides to try not to be too difficult and also help with little Rouge, which ends up bringing him closer to Ichiji too, specially with Ichiji learning to be more human too. (Ofc the rest of the spade pirates also help with the baby, their little treasure, the local princess).
It's when everything finally seems peaceful that Germa catches up, Niji and Yonji have finally found their missing older brother, and are apparently really excited about being uncles? (Yonji gets excited immediately, Niji takes a little to warm up but he ends up being the one who spoils little Rouge the most, even if they need to learn how to treat such a small being).
~~I'm thinking about having all this be pre Alabasta, so I can have fun with that too
~~Marineford comes and the world discovers that not only does Roger have a son, he apparently also has a granddaughter (because ofc they take their little girl there, who are they supposed to leave her with?)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Deuce gives her a checkup and is immediately alarmed by all her anomalies.
Ichiji is like: she's just like I was at her age fr fr
Deuce: THAT'S NOT NORMAL WTF ARE YOU?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ace meets up with Luffy in Alabasta and ofc, needs to show off the picture he has of his daughter (they briefly managed to get their hands on a camera and took as many photos as possible, every crew member carries one at all times). Luffy is very very excited, but Sanji is sweating bullets seeing the girl's curled eyebrows (she got Ichiji's brows) and blue eyes (tho their shape is very obviously Ace's), he can see the Vinsmoke in her and he's not sure how he feels about that.
~~Should the Vinsmoke siblings show up at Marineford? That's their brother in law after all.
~~Luffy crying of happiness when meeting his lovely niece.
And I'll leave it here for now but man am I getting a bunch of cute ideas...
Will do some art later too...
Anyway another one for the Ace X Deuce X Ichiji agenda folder

i hate that old nickelodeon shows are borderline unrewatchable because you now realize how many inappropriate and weird things were put into them by dan schneider. it genuinely makes me so angry that he was allowed to be in charge of writing the scripts for kids shows and no one stopped him from adding in sexual jokes and scenes. and now the shows are ruined and permanently uncomfortable to watch because you know why those scenes are there. i hate it.

I'm losing my fucking mind.
In the last years, my university has been tagged multiple times with racist and neo-nazi symbols. The local of our union against racism and pro lgbtq+ was destroyed multiple times. Nothing was done, but a bit of paint to cover it up. No investigation. No punishment. And when I vocalised my discomfort, I was told it was nothing, just "immature young people trying to get attention".
Last year, the prefect of Paris authorized a Neo-Nazis' protest. Neo-Nazis walked in Paris, freely, as if it's not illegal to express racism or nazi rhetoric in this country. People weren't happy, so the prefete said it would not happen again.
Well, for the 21st of April, multiple protests against racism were organized all around France, and, they were not authorized by the authorities. The same prefect that let, a year ago, Neo-Nazis in the street of Paris, refused to let a protest against racism walk those same streets. He said "It's antisemitic. They support Palestine, they are antisemitic.". Yeah, take us for idiots, the protest against racism is going to be too antisemitic but not the Neo-Nazis you let walk around (and we know he would do it again).
And now, we have Sciences Po, one of the most reputable universities in our country, joining the movement the USAmerican students have started. The Sorbonne, another reputable university, followed. The French gov and media cried about it, called them "terrorists", "uneducated", "revolutionaries" (this one is crazy and really shows the fascism behind it all. We are in France, being revolutionary is NOT a bad thing in our culture. Wtf would you use "revolutionary" negatively in France, unless you are an oppressor?!!!) Students who are calling for the end of Genocide and just sitting on the ground! The cops were sent and dragged them out. For information, the cops CANNOT intervene in an university in France without the authorization of the president of this university. Not even the gov can make the cops enter an university, it's illegal. When students protest inside an university, people don't like seeing the cops being send after them. Two reasons: 1- students have often protest and help for the quality of life of everyone in French history, 2- WWII's trauma, Nazis stormed French universities because they were hiding Jews and resistants. Like, they are straight up acting like the Nazis, again. And the city of Paris wants to cut the budget they give to those two universities to punish them for not keeping their students in line. So, freedom of speech? GONE.
Students are protesting against a massacre, and they are calling them antisemitic. People standing against racism is antisemitic. But not the people branding Neo-Nazi symbols and chanting Neo-Nazi slogans. They don't move if you are branding a swastika, which is illegal, but will if you are branding Palestine's flag, which is not (yet). They let a political party founded with a SS go around and act nice, but the ones asking for the end of a massacre are the Nazis. Make sense.
So, I'm fucking pissed. I'm fucking pissed because I was told to "calm down" when I couldn't stand the antisemitism paint on my university, when I couldn't stand being friendly with the students that did or support that (because I did meet one). I was told to ignore antisemitism and I refused, and now, they call me antisemitic for standing with Palestinians?! How dare they when they tried to gaslight me so I would ignore the antisemitism in front of me?!
They don't care about jewish people! It's not about jewish people or the jewish faith, it's about white supremacy!
The people have already planned to protest during the Olympic Games, because the French gov is going full fascism lately (everyday, we wake up to more bs), and I hope with all my heart that we ruin the event at least (which would harm them financially), and at best, we get rid of the government and this 5th republic.

Party poison is an incredible artist but she doesn’t have a particular style. They’ve drawn everything from comic books, protest art, graffiti, and medieval fucking paintings.
Imagine like ghoul or jet coming into party’s painting lair and then just seeing the most beautiful medieval painting the size of the diner’s windows.
IMAGING GHOUL GAZING IN AWE AT HER PAINTING
PLEASE,,,,,
THINK ABOUT IT.

I love writing the killjoys as teenagers with teenager problems like having crushes and liking pop-rock bands and being overly sarcastic and annoying; but they’re growing up and figuring it out and just living their lives. There’s bad moments, but there’s more good ones because when you’re a kid you can’t help it.

"What now?" said Butterfly.
"How big's the Red Army?"
"We number many thousands," said Butterfly, defiantly.
"In Hunghung?"
"Oh, no. There is a cadre in every city."
"You know that, do you? You've met them?"
"That would be dangerous. Only Two Fire Herb knows how to contact them..."
"Fancy that."

Eric Adams has a plan that no other has ever dared to attempt. He seeks to unlock the secret to financial independence from oppressive kleptocrats. His methods are impossible to replicate, and only time will tell if they will succeed. His unique take on the issue has already turned heads, inspiring hope and caution in equal measure. He is a modern-day folk hero, labeled both a revolutionary and a danger. All agree he is changing the game, but no one knows if the outcome will be beneficial or disastrous.

Interesting, the idea of Dangerous Liaisons being a critique of aristocratic society is a modern interpretation. I would argue that it’s contemporaneous social commentary is more about the double standard, but I’m only halfway through... (Source)

years ago i listened to katya zamalodchikova’s podcast where she said that there was no such natural thing called «drugs», explaining that was a constructed category based on legality and it really changed how i see it. coffee literally is a (mild) upper and if you don’t drink several cups a day you’re seen as weird

I think people need to understand that when someone says the situation in Israel/Palestine is complicated they are not necessarily saying that the discussion of who the oppressor vs oppressed is complicated. The Israeli government has been oppressing the Palestinians for a very long time, that is clear, and it is not complicated to understand that at least since the 80s they have had dramatically more financial and military power to keep control of the territory in the way they like.
However, it is reductive and dismissive to insist that there is no complexity in the potential ways to move forward to bring peace to the region. Despite what people on tumblr.edu like to believe, "Israel should never have been created" is not a practical solution to an incredibly heated geopolitical situation in the present day. Israel was created and it does exist. 10 million people live there. 74% of the population is native born and the country has existed for 75 years. Hand waving these fact away with the opinion that "they should move back to where they came from" may make you feel good about being a Radical Leftist, but it does not give anyone a road map for how exactly millions of people without dual citizenship are supposed to just up and evaporate. Nor does it acknowledge the reality that 21% of Israelis are Arabs, the very people you are claiming to want to give the land back to.
Insisting that there's nothing complicated about expecting an entire country's population to willingly dissappear with no consequences is not a productive way to think about this conflict. It ignores the many massive superpowers that have an interest in proping up different states in the region, the power dynamics involved in any land back movements, and the inevitably negative consequences of totally dissolving an established state without a plan. It is also completely and almost comically unrealistic, so much so that it makes it hard to believe that anyone who's opinion starts and ends with this idea really gives a shit about anyone who lives in the area as much as they care about their online leftist clout.
There's nothing complicated in understanding that the Israeli government is and has been maintaining an oppressive apartheid state for decades. It is, however, very complicated to come up with a realistic way to resolve some of the most intricately entangled land disputes on the planet without plunging the region into total chaos. Not everyone has to be deeply educated on every geopolitical situation, but it is very hard to take people seriously when they know nothing about the politics or history of a region and yet insist that there is nothing complicated about it at all.
There's a lot of people on this website who are getting dangerously smug about their own ignorance, and are starting to go down Qanon type anti-intellectual paths in the name of being sufficiently radical. Not knowing the details of a very convoluted land dispute isn't something to brag about online as you call for intentionally reductive solutions. You can support the Palestinian cause and be aware of the oppression they have faced while also holding off on calling people trying to do real analysis and de-escalation work bootlickers. We need to get control of the urge to fit every global issue into a simplistic YA novel narrative structure that appeals to Western revolutionary fantasies.
