Just because I keep seeing people say “what do you want them to do? Lay people off?!” No. I think we’re saying that they shouldn’t have taken on more employees than they could responsibly afford. They’re responsible now for those peoples livelihood and those decisions should have been taken more seriously.

My Robin’s designs: n°2 - Jason Todd
My goal in this series is to make each Robin a design that fit their personality and Batman’s story. For Jason, we need a suit for a fighter, a survivor.
His outfit is more "boyish", and more practical, as more skin is covered. He gets protections for his knees, his elbows and his palms because he keeps trying to do the same acrobatic tricks as Dick, but he doesn't have the years in a circus. Jason is also reckless (bravery and recklessness are two side of the same coin, which is Jason) and has survived awful conditions, so he doesn't hesitate to do "dangerous" (the level of danger may vary, Bruce's stress does not) shit, like making a jump from way too high to follow a criminal. If you cannot stop the kid from doing it, at least put some protection on him.
The outfit is still very similar to Dick's outfit, which will change with the next ones. A long bright yellow cape, so he can become a burrito, but not as wide as Dick. The shorts, slightly longer, are still there. But, instead of the circus theme, I fell into a slight football (soccer) theme, because, in France, football is THE sport you play in the street with your friends (we literally have a cartoon about children, from the lower classes in majority, having football championships in the streets, running away from the cops. I grew up watching it). For me, it makes sense and creates a link to his upbringing before Bruce.
This has nothing to do with his Robin's suit, but I'm a "white strike Jason" lover, and so, I'm giving him poliosis. Poliosis can develop later in life, therefor it matches him only having the white hairs as an older teenager.
Check the others: Dick -

Having a traumatic childhood means you cannot talk even objectively about your basic foundational experiences without it being "venting", even if you're not actually venting. You just straight up have a huge chunk of your life you can't talk about, full stop, without it being trauma dumping.
And it not being socially acceptable to talk about your own childhood is super alienating. Sometimes people want to know why, and any answer you can give them is going to be off putting.
It's to the point I get irritated when something I said is framed as venting when I'm literally just talking about my life experiences, doing my best to keep emotion out of it.

"This is not a "bring the guillotine" situation."
Y'all don't even know who was guillotined except for the royal couple, sit down. And Robespierre, who was poor and used as a scapegoat by the bourgeois. Also, as a French, we wanted to get the guillotine out when our president wore an expensive watch, this is totally a "bring the guillotine" situation for us.

If there's one thing I learn from this whole watcher bs, it's that not only the usamerican right-wing wouldn't survive with the French leftists, but also the usamericans left-wing.

I cannot believe some of y'all are now going to pay 6$ a month to see 4 youtube videos early, since they apologized. Unless you were already a patreon, why would you suddenly want to support them when you didn't before? Why would you pay for that? Because they make poor financial decisions as a company doesn't mean you also have to.
There are multiple genocides going on, what about giving your 6$ toward helping those people, instead of jumping to support a bunch of rich guys who disregarded their fans enough to even think about this streaming service. This is going to give ideas to other youtubers, and they all are going to start doing this shit to get more money. A capitalist hell in the making.

OH and quick reminder before I forget!
Companies are not your friends, even Content Creators that put up the parasocial mask to make you feel comfortable. Their aim is to make money off of you above all else. Remember that in the wake of this. Watcher is a company
Ryan and Shane and Steven are business people
Money will always be the thing that binds them to fans.
They are not the exception, they just showed VERY CLEARLY that they are the rule.
Continue consuming their content. I know I will be if anything piques my interest. But remember they are a Company and this is how they have to survive.

Watcher fans, as someone who has seen this rodeo happen to other internet groups and companies time and time again, I suggest not letting your guard down just because they made an update response to their video.
Cos it always starts of with "guyssss nothing is gonna change, everything is going to exactly the same with only some minor changes dont worry! uwu"
And guess what? It's almost and undoubtedly a lie. Every single time I see this happen they slowly roll new things and change it for the worst. "Nothing's gonna change!" and then a year down the line everything is completely different and bad and it's too late to fix it and they have your money so at that point they're not gonna care.
Biggest example I can best describe is Roosterteeth cos I used to be a fan of them for years. They pulled the "nothing's gonna change we're just gonna post stuff a week later than members will get to see" stunt so many times years ago and guess what? They're shutting down this week because it all came to bite them in the end.
I'm not like suddenly anti Watcher or anything in fact I'm glad they're still keeping the youtube channel up but I've been through this rodeo before and this like the easiest corporation tactic to slowly turn the heat up and make shit worst until you the frog notices too late to get out of that boiling pot. The only difference in Watcher is that they did a dumb and accidentally spoiled the ending for the frog before they could turn up the heat and boil it.
Big companies like Disney did it. Small companies like Roosterteeth did it. And now Watcher's doing it. Don't fall for it. "Oops sorry!" Isn't gonna cut it when you break the trust of your audience to that extent. People's opinions of them are never gonna be the same, and everything that has occurred (the video, the silence, the targetted backlash commenting they did and what's gonna happen at the live tour tmr) should make everyone think twice before spending your well earn money on their sketchy platform.

Also, you don't have to be in the 1% to be one of the rich in "eat the rich". That's not how it works at all.
"Eat the Rich" is from Rousseau, and the full phrase is "When the people will have nothing left to eat, they will eat the rich". The rich, in the context, is any rich that ignores the people, that ignore their situation. You don't need to be the ruling class to be a rich asshole. The ghoul boys are the rich that ignore that people are starving rn.
The people, tho, sang "kill the rich", and it was born during the Réveillon episode in the French Révolution of 1789. Réveillon was a wealthy french business man, HE WAS NOT A NOBLE, so not a part of the 1% of the time. He decided, in april 1789, that he was not making enough money, and told his employees, starving parisians, that they were living better than him. And so, he decided to lower their pay to pay himself more. His house was attacked and destroyed by the angry mob, and the police shot, killing between 300 and 900 people. It's one of the deadliest day of the French Révolution of 1789.
USAmericans, stop appropriating things that aren't yours and twisting them to fit your ideas. Nobody has to live with millions of dollars, and the ghouls boys are making millions.
Why are people acting as if you have to be in the 1% to be considered rich??? That's not how it works. To be rich, you have to gain, per month, at least the double median net worth of households.
In France, if you make 3900€ per month, you are rich. That's not an opinion, it's what Insee (the French national institute of economic statistics studies) label as rich right now. Yes, the USA and France have a different cost of living, but I am pretty certain that the guys each makes more than the double median net worth of USAmerican households, I can say they make more than the equivalent of 4000€ per months.
Fellas, y'all just have a fucked view of what being rich is in the USA, y'all think one needs to make 2 millions per year to be rich (from this study). That's more than TWENTY times the median net worth of USAmerican households.
From the "eat the rich" country (and, actually, the people sang "kill the rich"), the guillotine country, I'm telling you, those guys are rich. And also, they weirdly proudly displaying the luxuries they can afford, the "eat the rich" they throw around is like a protection, it doesn’t sound genuine (see: Voidzilla's video where he cringes when Ryan says "Eat the rich" before showing off his brand new Nike proudly)
And let's not talk about y'all calling their videos, where they get drunk and read ghosts' stories from the internet, "art".

The third worst thing my parents did to me, after abusing me and acting as if nothing bad ever happened, is not trying to make me do martial arts as a kid. They knew I had potential, and now I'm a broke adult with anxiety, it's too scary to join a class.

We have historical proof of trans people existing in the last centuries and everybody around them being open about it. CATHOLIC PRIESTS would change their documents to the right gender and would marry trans people in their church (transmen as grooms and transwomen as brides)
Hate is taught.

As someone working to become an archeologist who dig up dead bodies:
We assign a sex to the skeleton not the individual. We don't assign a gender.
We know trans people existed as the gender binary is a cultural aspect and not every culture that have existed followed it.
So, we have found tombs of trans people. Writing them down as their sex and erasing their transness would be a crime against science and mispractice.
The way a dead body and a grave are studied is that we have the biological informations and the social informations. Social > biological. We don't care about the sex of the skeleton as much as WHO they where, which can be determine by the funerary furniture.
Your tomb will be boring af because we don't have the funerary furniture people used to have. Just bones. A waste of time and money for archeologists. I'm more sad about that. Nothing to tell you about the individual's life, who there are. I have studied newborns' graves from the Ancient Times with more personality 😮‍💨 Your coffin would be more interesting, but in 1000 years, it could be gone.
If it's 1000 years, than the current graveyard will not be in the same place and it would not be "digging up a graveyard" or illegal. In Europe, we find graveyard from the Middle Ages when someone is trying to build a house. Every piece of land (in the world) has a ton of history in it, that you don't know about. In France, it's illegal to dig on your own property because you could find some stuffs and you are not equipped to handle that. So, before doing any digging, the gov send a team to evaluate if there could be some interesting stuff (like a graveyard!). If yes, now you have archeologists in your yard for the next months at least. It probably will be the same for the USA and other countries who don't already have some laws like this in 1000, if they care about their history.
Your skeleton will be recorded as a number, not under a name, and be documented under a number. Unless you are really exceptional, like Lucy.
Literally, history and archeology are NOT on the side of bigots. I have enough of hearing this argument, archeologists know that sex and gender differ.
I have a professor, an historian who study gender's history, who send emails and "harass" (he send really polite emails with a ton of scientific studies proving they are saying bs, asking them to answer and admit they are wrong. He doesn't get answer, so he tries again from time to time) bigoted archeologists and historians who publish or speak publicly about their bigoted theories. He is a straight cis white male, and if there's one guy like him today, there will be one in 1000 years to do it again.
the “in a 1000 years people will look at your skeleton and know ur birth gender” argument is so stupid because
Why are they digging up a graveyard that’s illegal
They get it wrong like 20% of the time
theyre probably all trans too
queer people tend to like bones I’ve noticed this
why would I give a shit I’m dead
