If you ever feel like you’ve made bad decisions just remember that somewhere out there is a theatre director at an all-white high school about to choose the spring musical
Not that Pirates needed any more than three movies, but if I were to continue the series in any medium, I would have Elizabeth as the main protagonist; and focus heavily on her reign as Pirate King. Exploring this through her newfound leadership role in the war against the East India Company (and I guess Great Britain by association). I would have had that conflict continue throughout Will’s tenure as psychopomp and end right before he got back, with the main spotlight on Elizabeth building trust and respect with not only the rest of the Brethren Court, but the new Pirate Republic.
YOU'VE SEEN METALLICA LIVE???? DUDE I'M SO JEALOUS :O WAS IT FUN
It was great. I saw them last September in Phoenix with my mom (the mega fan), her boss, and her boss’s husband. The setlist was pretty good. Off the top of my head I remember they played One, Master of Puppets, For Whom the Bell Tolls, Call of Ktulu, Enter Sandman, and I think Sanatarium. We had surprisingly good cheap seats too.
I wish they had the first graphic as a T-shirt because I would have bought it. The merch I did get is now part of my daily wardrobe because it’s a great quality shirt. You can see our view in the second pic, I didn’t take too many because I was listening and documenting (I’m not overly familiar with their discography so I didn’t know every song). They put on a great show and the crowd was absolutely wild, my mom cried lol.
"Enter Sandman" is a song by American heavy metal band Metallica. It is the opening track and lead single from their self-titled fifth album, released in 1991. It evolved from a guitar riff that guitarist Kirk Hammett wrote, after being inspired by Soundgarden's 1989 album Louder Than Love. The title is a reference to the Sandman, a character from Western folklore who makes children sleep.
The single was released on July 29, 1991, two weeks before the release of Metallica. The album debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200 in the US and nine other countries, and sold over 22 million copies worldwide, allowing "Enter Sandman" to become "one of the most recognizable songs of all time in rock". The single peaked at number 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and at number 5 on the UK Singles Chart. In addition to the nominations received by the album as a whole, the song was nominated for Best Rock Song at the 34th Grammy Awards in 1992. It was voted Song of the Year in Metal Edge's 1991 Readers Choice Awards. The music video won Best Hard Rock Video at the 1992 MTV Video Music Awards and was nominated for Best Cinematography and Best Editing.
Motörhead covered "Enter Sandman" in 1998, and received a nomination for the Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance at the 42nd Annual Grammy Awards. "Enter Sandman" is used in the polka melody "Polka Your Eyes Out" for "Weird Al" Yankovic's 1992 album Off the Deep End. The song was also sampled by British electronic duo Utah Saints and American rapper Chuck D on their track "Power to the Beats". It was covered by Weezer as part of The Metallica Blacklist tribute album. It was also used by NASA mission control CAPCOM B. Alvin Drew to wake up space shuttle astronauts aboard STS-123. The song was selected for Mission Specialist Robert L. Behnken by his fiancé.
"Enter Sandman" received a total of 81,1% yes votes!
There is no possible reality where this is in any way capable of being passed off as self-defense. It was never self-defense. It is, and always has been, a genocide.
Crying babies. Crying babies. This is, beyond a shadow of a doubt, meant to draw out and kill civilians while also making it far more difficult to locate and aid children who are trapped or alone.
If you have money to spare, please consider donating to some of the fundraisers on Operation Olive Branch to help people escape this genocide.
let’s settle this shit but do NOT reblog if you’re gonna be modest about it like a little BITCH. anyway privilege check tell me which ones apply to you: hot, funny, can dance, can do math, can spell, can drive, can cook
