back in the day i used to be absolutely cracked at making those little rainbow loom dolls. i started out with those princess tutorials but slowly evolved into making my own patterns for equestria girls and other fandoms I was into. my best design was easily the iron man i did where the mask flipped up and you could see tony underneath.

unfortunately, i do not have any of those with me. and also those rainbow loom rubber bands disentagrate so easily so they're likely piles of sad in my closet. instead i have made for you blindrance laurtoes

I found my old box of rainbow loom rubber bands so I made bracelets for the NRC dorms! The only ones I don’t have are Octavinelle (I don’t have the right colours) and Ramshackle (I haven’t gotten to it yet) but hopefully I’ll get to them soon!

These are just basic fishtail bracelets that I based off the form armbands. The more prominent colour is doubled while the accent is a single band.

Bee tutorial

I’ve put some of the things that might not be understood in another colour. A small ‘explanation’ of those to are on the very bottom of this post.

First of, we get the loom bands (also a hook for this is very helpful just because it’s quite hard to get the wings in without)

6 black, 6 yellow and one white. The white one is for the wings so if you want you could also use a transparent or blue one.

On this I’ll be putting the loom on. (If you want you could also use your finger or two pencils. With fingers it’s still possible but it just hurts a little with the first step)

Then take two of the black loom bands and triple cap them. like so

Take three yellow loom bands and place them over the black ones then you pull the black ones over the three yellows.

Place three black bands on top of the yellows and also pull those over. Then you do the same with the last three yellows.

If I’m doing this tutorial right, you should now only have a black and a white one left.

Place the single black band on top of the last three yellow bands and pull it over like so.

If you’ve done that you want to make a Slipknot

Now, for his part we need a hook. You put it in between two bands and I can’t really explain it. But you need to put the white band through a black one.

(I’m gonna have to reblog this because I can only put 10 pictures per post)

(a Slipknot is pulling one part of the loom band through the other)

(A triple cap is putting the loom band three times around a peg)
