I love 80's Batman because he's coherent. Like there's this guy that after losing his entire family, started dressing up like him and killing criminals and instead of Batman getting mad and all hypocritical about it (like many others would), he just gets the guy and have his own version of softly saying "he get's it".

AU where quackity committed to the fucking bit and cDream gave up the book in prison, died, and then we got a quackity and Sam villain arc. A real “this is for your own good” power couple of evil. Las Nevadas actually opens and becomes the servers main hub and everyone has to obey Q because now he’s got all the power and Sam’s oh-so-desperate to always protect everyone from themselves. Are you all picking up what I am putting down?

anyway so this brings us to what has become the end of part 1??? this got so out of hand. MIGHT be a 3 part scenario here, but this is almost certainly the longest, or at least densest. the proverbial crap hits the proverbial fan from here on out and action tends to take up way more page space. as I figure THAT new pacing scenario out, among other things, Monkey’s Paw will be taking a break. Until probably November. Why November? well in November I’ll have finished my last teacher certification test. until then, I need to force myself to put some things to the side in order to not burn the candle quite so quickly. I don’t want any of my future-paying work or currently-paying side-hustle work to suffer, and thus also for this to suffer. There’s quite a bit of logistics for part 2 that need to be planned well in advance of it showing up on a page and that takes Time.
I didn’t even expect for this to go this far when I started. from the jump I’ve been working on the ethos of I’m Making This For Me, and while that’s still true I’m so incredibly grateful for all the response this comic has gotten!! I’m truly blown away by all the support and avid readers and commenters, you make my heart grow so so so big <3 Making this has been super fun as a fan but also an incredible confidence- and skill-builder for making That Original Comic That I’ll Get To Eventually Don’t Worry About It.
Between now and November, be on the lookout for a “chapter 2 cover art”, where I’ll give a progress update on part 2 and also (hopefully!) a link to where you can download a pdf copy of part 1! No promises, but that pdf version may have some redrawn panels or re-arranged pages, because any artist who’s ever told you they nailed every thing they’ve made on the first go is a liar. No changes to the plot, just in presentation.
Anyway! Thank you all again, so much, for reading! (and I don’t wanna draw any undue attention to anyone who doesn’t want it but to the person who spotted the red flags on Hen like 50 pages ago?? I am delicately holding your face and kissing you on the forehead you know who you are )

april and casey are going to be introduced pretty early so we're holding back refs and info on them until they are- but i went ahead and drew april anyway i love her alot
ofc she's besties with the purple one. they are nerds. april and casey will be like family to the turtles and splinter and theyll be included in a lot of the adventures we have planned for them. they'll have their own arcs too!
april is about to be introduced at the end of issue 1 and issues 2 and 3 will focus on her. issue 4 is casey's debut. i didnt draw him because we're still figuring out his hairstyle :,D
2. Raph likes to collect pink and red things if they're on the surface, he keeps his collection in his room.
Leo stomps and moves his closed fists up and down, he also waves his hands with his palms out in a waving motion. He usually does this when he's excited or really happy.
Donnie is an anxious bean. He can be sarcastic with his brothers, but any interactions outside his family make him intensely nervous. He also relishes anytime someone talks to him as if he is a human.
Mikey is very cat-like! Very animalistic but not feral.
He also has a large chip in his front tooth from an injury he suffered when he was small.

You know what it gets me? Bruce Wayne loved Dick Grayson on purpose. Bruce saw that little boy lose his parents and he took his hand on the same day deciding, I'm going to love you on purpose. I know the fact that Chayanne talks randomly is probably not at all canon, it's just a Cucurucho voice misclick, but I like the idea that Chayanne can talk but knows he's not supposed to for some reason. Plus since the word he most commonly uses is "no" and he says things multiple times every time he starts talking, it gives me the sense of a kid who did something wrong and tries to deny it but just makes it worse XD
Tallulah's trying to cover for him though u-u I don't think it's working but also Phil doesn't care
Sorry I didn't color code anyone, hopefully it's not hard to tell who's who though. First time drawing humanoid forms for the eggs, so hope they turned out okay!

Okay, even though I’m not in the p5 fandom anymore, I’d like to point out that the Ryuji bullying has been toned down a LOT in this game, and now it just feels like friendly banter between him and his friends. I love it so much. And the fact that Ryuji talks back more to Morgana gives me serotonin. (More in the tags)
