BUT!#since the rest of the cast generally likes him [at least as I play it] he thinks hes doing just fine#he's like 'oh they r happy with me so i must be getting a good grade in being peppino :)'#so getting told that 'yeah you actually really suck at that but that was never the reason people liked you'#and told that by og model peppino no less--yknow THE guy he's supposed to be living up to#who's already a bit intimidating for that and who ALSO totally wrecked him TWICE in the tower#making him acutely familiar with just how formidable the guy is and how much there IS to live up to....#it's a Moment for sure. not really a sad or hurt one though. just... contemplative.#thinking abt people liking him for being the guy he's already naturally been being even though that guy is Not Peppino#i don't think he's gonna be super broken up about realizing he has a bad grade in peppino given everything else hes got now#nor do i really think he cares enough to go like reinvent himself or whatever after the fact#he seems to b pretty clearly having fun with it already so i think he just keeps doing that#and in some cases he still has the pre-installed peppino traits/instincts like to cooka da pizza. and that's fine#is this projection. yes. but if youve been following me awhile you know most of my character writing is ghdhfdgf#gonna kinda expand on all this in the gerome one which is...one after next. itll be a bit but man.#anyway peppino will never admit to anyone and especially not himself that he's gotten a little attached to the guy. hee hoo#pep tends to be kinda surly but he certainly has his ways of showing he cares. all of which are on display here#''that thing is not my son'' says man currently watching thing's antics with the 'bemused dad' arms crossed pose. yeah ok buddy.#gus is totally onto him already but hes not gonna say anything.#if u read all this ur prize is not having to go decode fp's rot13. his lines are ''meant to be you...?'' and ''wrong question.''

Brnine will almost never bring either up from their end due to their issues and everyone feels it’s for the best so they don’t bring it up either but gucci and jesset were still occasionally like but what if 👀 no nvm… but….

thinking abt how all of gevie’s relationships w her friends involve them seeing through each other in some way
#talktag#mona due to her hydromancy and also her no nonsense demeanor#(and also her friendship w fischl) lets her see past the persona gevie projects#and once gevie takes the rose tinted glasses off she sees mona not as the infallible astrologist#but as someone who is silly goofy just like everyone else#venti always knows more than he lets on for obvious reasons#and gevie picks up on who he really is#but they both only engage with the persona they project but in a way where they’re both in on the joke#one of the reasons diluc is so drawn to gevie in the first place#is that she is constantly pushing aside his titles and his coat of arms to probe the real him#and diluc has always accepted gevie for who she is#like yeah this is the basis for any good relationship ig but#the friends gevie ends up making kind of belies what her true wishes always were#she changed her name she changed her appearance she changed her life#all in the hopes of becoming someone that would be fine being alone#but the bonds she forms and the people she is drawn too are all ppl#who to some extent see her for who she truly is#oh also i forgot lisa#there’s not much abt lisa for gevie to really see through#but lisa was the one person who knew gevie before she reinvented herself

I've been stuck with writer's block since December and usually it'll let up by March if it's the seasonal depression but it HASN'T :(
#go awaaaaayyyyy I want to write! I wanna write so so so bad but every time I try it's like I'm trying to walk on water or reinvent the wheel#and it's not just an 'I'm stuck on a project' either I can't write ANYTHING#not even embarassing self indulgent self insert fics that stay between me and my documents folder. Not even in my goddamn JOURNAL#I go to write to keep the habit up and suddenly nothing that's happened is worth writing about >:(#and I'm so annoyed because usually the embarassing self insert fics are a sure way to get the ol' brain goop doing its thing#but not this time!#kat gets personal#me

would it be considered lazy to use the same regular months for a fantasy story 🤔 like is it expected for people to make up their own months n shit because of an alternate history or would that be going the extra mile

Mention of some minor spoilers for that new Superman show that’s out, I’m keeping up with it because the scenarios are fueling me and I just have to ramble about one
Or maybe a couple moments in the first few eps, I guess I won’t get into too many specifics it’s just that Clark can’t seem to stop touching Lois’s waist and it kills me thinking about Vax and Nova being the same way ToT like any time he goes to take her flying he’s so deliberate about grabbing and feeling her weight and pulling her against him and just basking in the warmth and radiance of her presence but she’s doing the same thing, especially when she wraps her arms around his shoulders and rests her face against his (post-relationship or otherwise, if it happens before they’re together they both just get all blushy and at a loss for where to put their faces or hands, even though deep down all they want is to be in each other’s space, and they both want each other in their space!!!)
Just a firm sure and confident hold that says “you’re staying with me and I’ll keep you safe” like idk it drives me crazy sorry I’m in love fhiesofjiofjoisejfois and I can project all the flying scenarios onto my bird boy because he got his wings and damn right he’s going to use them!! Hey everyone, time for a bit less cryptic introduction.
First, a few things:
This is a Doctor Who fanseries. But not an audio one, like most of people in the fandom, tend to choose nowadays.
A short story series. How short? We'll see. The plans are quite long-term (at least in my head and a few notepads 😭)
There will be a lot of new lore, worldbuilding, and toying with well-known Whoniverse concepts. With some more than with the others.
And finally, sorry for that, but no returning monsters for some time. We wanna take the time to carve out something of our own for a bit. But that doesn't mean forever! ✨

I’m seeing a lot of fans think Harry should lay relatively low for a while and reinvent himself a bit for a new era, a lot like Taylor has done. I think I do agree that he needs to a step away and that his image needs a bit of a refresh, but don’t know if I’m looking through stan goggles. I also don’t know how possible it is to do organically
Anon 2: I agree that this current backlash is a result of how little Harry is willing to share, and I’m hoping someone around him, even if it’s not him, sees that. I don’t think he needs to be sharing details about his personal life to share more or be more relatable.
I'm absolutely not here for conversations about what Harry should do. Harry gets to decide how to navigate his life and career - what he's willing to do and what he isn't. There are no shoulds.
There's a dynamic of fandom which is basically like 'I can't handle you being criticised and therefore that gives me a say in how you navigate the world' which I'm really not there for. I am interested in questions about what happens next - as long as they're questions that show curiosity.
In terms of what happens next. I think he'll have a natural pause. I wasn't expecting Harry to be doing much by the way of press or appearances this year anyway. There's the Brits obviously. But then he's touring for six months. I don't think he'll release an album this year. He might film a movie in the back half. But Harry isn't very present as a celebrity unless he's got something to promote (and even then). I think that's an advantage that he has - he is just busy.
But since everyone is talking Taylor - if we are going to talk about the aftermath of winning Album of the Year - I think it's worth breaking down what happened.
I think now there's sort of a story that Taylor went away and reinvented herself and that was successful.
I think reality was more complicated than that and maybe more simple. Reputation the album had a very mixed reaction - it was Reputation the tour that had such an impact - and then she's been building that ever since.
What I've been wondering is whether the going away and the reinvention really mattered that much. What the Reputation tour showed was that she still had her core audience - and I tend to think that she never lost that audience and that's what matters to building a career that is both sustainable and wildly successful.
If I'm right - and Taylor had her core audience all along and general discourse wasn't actually that important to her career. Then the implications for Harry are that the situation isn't quite as messy and difficult as it might seen.
This is where what's coming next is even more important. Harry has six months of touring left to go - he'll be in front of his core audience and get a sense of how that is holding up.

Hexweave Cloth in WoW is probably meant to refer to hexes like spells, but I can't help but imagine it all as being triaxially woven so that the pattern of the weave forms hexagons rather than squares, and I'm in danger of giving myself more projects to try and figure out how to do it at that scale
#most of the projects I'm seeing seem to be more like. basket weaving or tiny little samplers with ribbon#And I'm trying to think of how you could scale that up (or down rather?) for yardage#But most of the things I can find for full scale triaxial looms seem to be limited to heavily industrial applications#As in like.. carbon fiber material#The best case I'm seeing for hand weaving is hexagonal or triangular looms that are a couple feet wide#and then that's it that's the size of your fabric#Which isn't good enough!!#watch me get way too invested in this and try to reinvent the wheel (loom) and ignore all the projects I should be working on
