some of my childhood stuffed animals!!!
Tumblr media
let’s go!!! nostalgia time!!!
first up we will look at all the webkinz (except for my frogs bc those ones are on a shelf)
there was this lil store in town that would sell webkinz for cheaper than meijers, so if i got good grades or something my mom would take me there and let me choose 2! but meijers always had a better selection so sometimes we would go there, but they were more expensive so i could only get 1.
Tumblr media
lil kinz grey n white cat my beloved… i got her from my aunt for christmas one year :’) first ever webkinz, i was so excited!!
my mom hated the mohawk puppy because she thought mohawks were a sin
the signature clouded leopard introduced me to the animal and i was obsessed with them for a while!
Tumblr media
the clydesdale horse is kinda special! my dad got it for me from ebay :) he normally never got me stuffed animals because he thinks they’re a waste of money. i also thought it was cool, because the internet was new to me, and i didn’t know you could buy stuff online!
Tumblr media
not going into details about the traumatic event obviously but it’s kinda funny, because basically i had to pack a bag super quick and i spent forever deciding which plush to take with me lol (i think i was in shock or something, because i was not thinking clearly)
okay that was a lot of plushies… now i am tired… oof.
claw machine prize time!
i love claw machines, i would play them all the time! my favorite was this little one at little caesar’s in the next town over. the machine was really easy to win! i also remember walmart used to have a bunch of claw machines!
Tumblr media
not going through the whole box, because most of them aren’t very interesting.
my first ever claw machine win is the little angry tiger! i was probably 4?? and it was at walmart. my dad moved the claw into position and i pressed the button :) i was so excited!!!!
the black and white bunny was a win from the little caesar’s i mentioned earlier. i loved it! the plush is super soft and good quality. normally claw machines have cheap toys so i was impressed!
the carrot farmer bunny is super cool! she originally had a straw hat, but the claw ripped it off :( i was never able to get it…. but that’s okay! also one of her legs is sewn on backwards. weird. but i still think she’s super cute!
next is miscellaneous plushies
i am even more tired now, so i’m not going through the entire box… sorry
these are mostly from garage sales! some of them were bought brand new though (and those ones were always so cool to me)!
Tumblr media
i loved that chipmunk so much. i carried him with me around the house and i would sleep with him every night. i got him from the zoo on a field trip! i remember there was so many plushies, it was hard to choose just 1! unfortunately i did puke on him once, so my dad put him in the washer then dryer. when i saw him after he came out of the dryer i was so upset. he’s different! i hate change. i cried. he’s not soft anymore. i still loved him though, because it’s not his fault that his fur got messed up.
i don’t remember where the white dragon is from, but she’s so cool! i’ve heard it could be worth money but idk.
okay i’m done. super tired now. gonna sleep on the floor. goodnight <3

A writer’s guide to forests: from the poles to the tropics, part 8
We’ve made it to the tropics. I hope you enjoyed this, and found it useful in your writing.
Tropical rainforest
Probably the most recognizable of forest environment, and among the most threatened.
Location-Latin America, Africa, Australia, Indonesia, and the Pacific islands in between the tropics of Cancer and Capricorn. Many forests have been felled or heavily altered by human activity.
Climate-Subtropical to tropical, with conditions being wet year round. Rain does not fall all the time, with a defined rainy and dry season. (What’s the difference? Rainy season has rain almost daily while in the dry season you will have to make do with high humidity and morning fog) At higher elevations, nights are cooler, though still well above freezing, and mist and rain are more common(this is why mountainous RF are called cloud forests)
Plant life- This is a tree dominated environment. The understory and forest floor are dark, unless trees have recently fallen. Many small plants are arboreal, nestled in the upper branches of trees. Vines and other climbers use larger plants as scaffolding. In areas of poor soil, tropical pitcher plants (Nepenthes spp.) and bladderworts (Utricularia spp.) get much needed nutrients from animal sources.
Animal life- Rainforests are the most biodiverse environments on Earth. Insects are everywhere, as are the animals that eat them. Birds and primates can be found from the canopy to the forest floor. The moist conditions make for an ideal habitat for frogs and toads. Apex predators are the big cats-think jaguars, tigers and leopards. Some species of herbivores can be quite large; Africa is home to gorillas and forest elephants, while the island of Borneo, Sumatra, and Java support rhinos and orangutans (though the further of these species is uncertain)Waterways are home to all sorts of fish(there are more species in the Amazon river than in the Atlantic Ocean), and larger animals, such as otters, crocodilians, and even river dolphins. Isolated islands have far fewer mammal species, with bats being the only ones, but hardy insects, reptiles, and birds making up the majority of the biomass. Deforestation and the introduction of invasive species have caused the extinction of many animal species, with island forests being the hardest hit.
How the forest affects the story- When one thinks of societies in the tropics, it usually is through the lens of western stereotypes designed to shock audiences and give ‘civilization’ something to conquer. Avoid this at all cost! There is more to the forest. Before the Spanish conquest, the Amazon was home to cities, and the agricultural societies of New Guinea are believed to be contemporaries with the farmers of Mesopotamia.
Grain does not do well in the tropics, so farming will be based around plants such as açaí, coconuts, taro, breadfruit, bananas, and manioc. These can be supplemented by hunting and fishing, but long term storage will have to be addressed. High humidity is a breeding ground for bacteria and fungi, so organic material will have to be kept dry so they don’t rot. The concentration of microorganisms also means that good hygiene is needed to avoid disease.
Settlement will always cause disruption, and the extent of your character’s activities can have a big impact on the forest, and your story. And remember, the activity of a small village will be different to that of large scale logging. Management, use, and abuse of the rainforest can be a driving factor in the plot. How will your characters react? Is the threat from outside or from within? The destruction of the rainforest is one of the main factors, along with unmitigated greenhouse gas emissions that is causing the current climate crisis. Can your characters do better? Or will you create a cautionary tale that shows us the grim future we are currently barreling towards? (That choice, my dear writers, is completely up to you)

Small post on my redesign of Rosie. Decided to make her more like a vulture, specifically a Black Vulture as they’re known to engage in cannibalism. Not live cannibalism, but they have been seen to eat dead members of their own species.
Tumblr media
It’s at this point I’ve realized how much I’ve made the cast more anthropomorphic, and it just kinda became unintentional cause I like drawin’ critters. But it’s also fun to give them more distinctive silhouettes and deeper meanings through using these animals. Even if most of them were from the original designs, it’s cool to give a deeper meaning to some of them.
Tumblr media
Was originally going to make her a mantis, but many people have went the insect route. Also gives me another excuse to draw more birds.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Probably wouldn’t change much about her character, although I have leaned more into the Southern Belle aspect of her character. Also would get rid of the weird Bostonian accent she has in the show. As much as I like the voice I just don’t think it fits.
Tumblr media
Some lil bonus info, cause I have also changed the town although I still have yet to make background redesigns. She’s still the head of the town and has overlord status, and she’d normally run it with her partners who always seem to pass before her. She will eat her deceased partners once they pass out of respect, and as a memento to them she keeps some of their feathers to use as the headpiece for her hat.
The town still looks and acts friendly under the guise of “southern hospitality.” Everyone in the town is also an animal that engages in cannibalism, so you’ll have the classic ones like mantises, frogs, and many fish species; but you’ll also find more unconventional ones like lions, leopards, and hamsters. All giving off the guise of this nice cute animal town that leaped out of a storybook, but in actuality is full of cannibals.

hi! i've been going through that scp recommendation list and i am really enjoying them, i am wondering if you have any more recommendations? thanks
100 SCP Objects isn't enough for you? XD Well the good news is I always have more. (Got a list of 15 Weird SCP Books up here too!)
I've only read some of the Series VIII entries, but here's a few that stood out to me for one reason or another:
SCP-7000 - The Loser (I've liked Site 43 for a while, so seeing this win the 7000 contest was a delight!) SCP-7025 - You Will Be Killed By A Bus SCP-7119 - Making Waves (hate you) SCP-7311 - Insecure Facility Dossier SCP-7333 - Business Lizard SCP-7339 - The Leopard Hunt Game SCP-7530 - The Stars Shine Brightly SCP 7595 - Telepathic Frogs SCP-7808 - Personnel Requirements SCP-7832 - Just. Three. Words. SCP-7926 - POP!!!! (Warning. This is absolutely the grossest thing I've read in a long time. If you're even slightly squicked out by pimples consider yourself warned.)
I've certainly read plenty and have plenty to recommend. If you've got something more specific you like, (i.e., funny ones, scary ones, body horror, sad/wistful ones, weird one, animals, insects, sapient places) I could probably give more targeted recs!

Talk about pets! Talk about Wisconsin and Arizona and their pets!
Wisconsin:
I feel like Wisconsin would have a coyote named Colby or Swiss
A big and lazy raccoon named Cheddar
and a American Water Spaniel named Jack (after Colby Jack)
He likes to take them all down to the lake just outside his house and fish with them. Jack likes to jump in after the fish, Cheddar will just look around or sleep, and Colby/Swiss runs off into the forest or lays next to him
Arizona:
Definitely has a few reptiles and amphibians. (gov is freaked out by all them)
Two snakes (Western Diamondback Rattlesnake and a Black-necked Garter snake)
An Arizona woodrat
A Arizona myotis
a frog (Relict Leopard Frog)
and a toad (Couch’s Spadefoot toad)
he probably has a bunch of lizards too
(couldn’t think of any names for them)
he has a big room in his house where he keeps them all and takes care of them. sometimes he’ll bring one or two back to the statehouse with him and keep them in his room.
i have this headcanon that dangerous animals won’t attack their state. so thats why a lot of the states have animals that are considered dangerous. other states have to be careful around animals not native to their state

Pretending End Cretaceous mass extinction event never took place, do you have any thoughts on speculative evolution and how dinosaurs and their contemporaries may have evolved through the years?
Like the explosion of mammal biodiversity probably wouldn’t have taken place, but what else? Assuming other global processes like plate tectonics, and the accompanying changes in currents, oxygen cycles etc, if you only take away the asteroid and it’s direct consequences, how do the dominoes fall?
Well, AFAIK the asteroid wouldn't have had any long term affects on the planet's tectonic activity or the climate. It was an apocalyptic event for sure, but depending on what scientist you believe, the immediate effects of the impact were over anywhere from a couple thousand years to only a few months.
So the plates would still move the way they have in the Cenozoic and the climate would still cool down and dry up due to the Earth's orbit and Milankovitch cycles. There would still be an Ice Age and animals would have to adapt to it.
The main difference would be life of course, and I cannot stress this enough, everything would be different. There would be no placental mammals, plant life would be mostly angiosperms but not in their total domination we see today, teleost fish wouldn't fill almost every aquatic niche like they do today, and of course there'd still be a shit ton of dinosaurs.
The thing about the asteroid was that it basically wiped the earth clean of entire clades, and those vast expanses of open niches is what kickstarted the biosphere we know today. There would be literally nothing in common with our "timeline" if it hadn't hit, except for some extreme cases of living fossils like Triops or Lepisosteus. No Mackerel, no Poison Dart Frogs, no Rose Bushes, no Great White Sharks, no Leopard Slugs, no Bears, no Giraffes, no Komodo Dragons, no Coconut Trees, no Crows or Ravens, etc.
In that sense though, 66 million years isn't that long in the perspective of the Mesozoic, so there wouldn't be anything crazy different from the Cretaceous. I doubt we'd see any dinosauroids for example. There would still be big sauropods and big theropods to hunt them, there would still be pterosaurs and marine reptiles of all kinds, there'd still be Ammonites and plenty of lobe finned fish, etc.
I think it's safe to say the arms race between armored Ornithischians and Tyrannosaurs would fizzle out, and much like the Stegosaurs and Carnosaurs of the Jurassic, they'd go extinct to make way for other animals to take their place. Maybe gigantic dromaeosaurs and quadrupedal ornithomimids or extremely armored sauropods and pterosaurs with bone crushing beaks, the possibilities are endless and I'm sure there's a million speculative evolution projects out there trying to answer that question.
Basically, we wouldn't be here making these posts.

if the skeletons could have a pet what animal/s would they pick?
(i'll leave it to you to decide whether the creature is within the realm of possibility for pet-ownership kjdfgkfdg)
Oooh, good question 👀
Undertale:
Sans: If it were possible, Sans would absolutely love to own a Red Panda. Despite their adorable faces and cuddly bodies, they actually don't like interaction with others, preferring solitude, which is something Sans could totally get behind.
Papyrus: Papyrus is a cat person all the way (as are most of the other Papyri). However, he specifically loves the Scottish Fold breed! He constantly fawns over their cute little ears and big eyes.
Underfell:
Red: Red actually isn't a huge pet person, he thinks they smell and he's not very good at taking care of himself, let alone another animal. Though, he does think about how funny it would be to own an African Grey bird and teach it a ton of swear words.
Edge: Probably the biggest cat guy out there! Doomfanger is a fan favorite for his pet, and while the breed of Doomfanger isn't necessarily canon...I see her as an all black Oriental Shorthair. Seriously, if Edge were a cat, that's what breed he'd be.
Underswap:
Blue: Blue loves dogs! His favorite breed is the Dalmatian, the signature dog of firehouses all around the country! He also loves Golden Retrievers.
Stretch: Stretch has an affinity for all things amphibious, especially frogs! He thinks they're so cute, and he'd love to own a bunch of Australian Green tree frogs some day.
Swapfell:
Indigo: He doesn't like pets at all; they smell, make messes that he'll have to clean because no one else will do it, and they cost a lot to care for properly. Though, he wouldn't mind having a Budgie or two, sitting on his shoulder as he works on paperwork.
Cash: Cash loves cats too, but he prefers the bigger cats! Lions, tigers (but not bears), and even bobcats! He really loves the snow leopard the most.
Fellswap:
Black: A Chihuahua. No, I will not elaborate.
Rus: Rus likes snakes, specifically Ball pythons! Their little tongues are so cute~ Rus also loves spiders of any kind!
Fellswap Gold:
Wine: He likes dogs, with a preference to the larger breeds. He's always wanted a Dobermann Pinscher, but he dislikes the practice of cropping ears and tails.
Coffee: The second biggest cat lover, right behind Edge. His favorite breeds are the Maine Coon and the Norwegian Forest cat, both majestic floofs in their own way!
Horrortale:
Bear: Bear is a big guy, so he's a little hesitant around smaller animals, but he loves all types of rodents! His favorites are Dumbo rats (those ears though!!!) and Capybaras.
Sugar: Despite being a cat guy, he can't handle the amount of hair they shed due to his allergies, but he likes the Sphynx breed! Sugar would make them little sweaters and hats to keep them warm.
Thank you for sending a question! This was a fun one to answer!

Beastars AU: A few ideas for the animal forms of the Sons of DIO. They range in seriousness.
Rikiel: 3 options! Cow, Frog, and Dragonfly. Cow is rather obvious given Rikiel's attire, Sky High looks like a frog to me, and Dragonflies are the closest IRL equivalent to rods, and IIRC it was bad-quality photos of dragonflies in flight that were first mistaken as rods IRL.
Ungalo: Mouse, because Mickey. I would say Wolf for the other one since that's such a common fairy tale animal but Joot has that already so...
Donatello: Turtle. Because TMNT and no other reason.
Tumblr media
@weewooihavefoundyou combining both of these asks because it makes sense to do them at the same time also there are aspects from both I really like-
for Rikiel, yeah a cow was definitely an obvious one. It also adds a bit of a nice reason for why he wears cow print (probably faux or just pattered than actual cow leather), almost like another silent acknowledgement of who and what he is. And a Beetle Dragonfly combination could be fun. Rikiel would definitely be on the smaller side to ensure he could actually fly, but he's surprisingly mobile. It's not perfect, and his health conditions make flying difficult, but when he can manage there's no shot at catching him
for Ungalo, the Mouse idea is absolutely hilarious so yes, and a hyena could be a really fun addition....... but I also kinda want to add in a third creature, being a tapir. I can't remember exactly where this specific thought, but for some reason my brain is REALLY attached to the thought. Also, the pattern would look really interesting with hyena spots so-
and I REALLY like the possibility of a Turtle Leopard combination. It's a mix of defence and offence that could really come in handy, but also has a lot of room for conflicting aspects and instincts which really wouldn't help his situation. Fight or hide, run or endure, lash out or stay quiet, all conflicting and driving him up a wall with nobody to help him work through it all

Fine. The Furry Roster, part 1 of however many parts it takes: All the Gordons are cephalopods. Reasoning: Freeman's deep sea thing + Swap's tentacles + Doc is strange and bizarre + Freeman compares Loverboy to a cuttlefish in Act 1 + Literal Actual Octopus "Gordon". Freeman/Storyteller: Architeuthis/Giant Squid Swap/Overlord: Vampire Squid (they're really weird AND the vampire thing) Doc/Hypnos: Firefly Squid (those fuckers GLOW) Player/Power Trip: Blue-Ringed Octopus (chill but also dangerous) Gordon B/Leading Light: Cuttlefish Seven/Last Resort Gordon: Giant Pacific Octopus Worldstop crew: Malcom Challender: Unicorn (something something his ability to manipulate Source seemed magical to the AI? Really it's just because our Malcom fictive has a ponysona but no actual fursona) Darnold: Pitbull (seen as aggressive but tend to be sweethearts; very loyal) Benrey/"Forzen": Blue dragon sea slug / garden snail (Benrey is a slug, but his Forzen disguise is quite literally him retreating into his shell) Y2KVR crew: Benrey (also Loveletters Benrey): Heterometris spinifer/Giant blue scorpion (for obvious reasons + they're blue) Spork (also Valentine): African Gray Parrot (They're smart as FUCK) Coomer/Lovetap: Mantis shrimp Bubby/Dr. Feelgood: Fire salamander Forzen/DJ Heartbeat: Mongolian death worm (this is not a real animal, however, they are supposedly attracted by rhythmic thumping similar to a heavy bass beat) Darnold/Smooth Operator: Cinnabar chanterelle (yes, the mushroom. Consider the emails to be similar to the mycelial network. I know this is getting weird. It will get weirder.) Tommy/I Don't Remember His Lovecore Name: Common crow The Restrictor: Raven (Half-Life G-Man is associated with ravens sometimes)
More will come soon.
"blackmailbutler asked:
Furry Roster Part 2 Of Something:
Admins: Admin C: Tri-color Monitor Lizard G-Man: Komodo Dragon Da Boss: Blue Poison Dart Frog Admin F: Blue jay (Like a blue jay, most of his aggression is a bluff; he's loud and abrasive, but doesn't actually want to fight) Admin P: Praying Mantis (green and can sort of punch things) Admin Darnold (he is mentioned one time in Act 1): Clownfish (orange + Darnold is mentioned to have been taking care of Joshua, which made us think of Finding Nemo because of the whole parental figure thing? Mostly going on vibes because we know nothing of him.)
Mad Science Team: Sleepless: Canada Goose (Acts like an asshole most of the time + Canada + probably loud as fuck) Harold: Protogen (it's MY furry AU and *I* get to choose the species. AND Protogens are COOL) Electrobubby: Electric eel (duh) Politerey: Duck (mostly because we are a Benrey and Forzen siblings truther) Project Coolatta: Lace Monitor Lizard The Old Man: Lace Monitor Lizard (they're monitors to call back to a certain other father-son duo, but unlike GVRV and C, they're the same species to represent them NOT being estranged)
Merch Team/The Last Resort: The Party Pontiff: Mantis shrimp Wheels: Okay so you know how people make anthro planes? That but a Greyhound bus. Yes he still drives an actual bus. I told you last ask that it'd get weirder! Tommy Bahama: Marine iguana (He does the beach tour IIRC. Plus I wanted him to be a lizard like some of the other Tommies.) Dr. Perky: Golden orbweaver (laser grid = spiderwebs, plus golden/orange color scheme) The Bellhop: Tropical leatherleaf slug (Vibes only. Plus he can retract one of his eyestalks to fit the one-eyed thing.)
???: Barney Calhoun: Harbor Seal Alyx Vance: Leopard/Deer (based on our pre-existing furry!Alyx. Eli is a deer, and she wears a little headband with some of his shed antlers on it.) Capital M: Changeling (think MLP. What do you mean that's just the ponysona that I got assigned by the system. I don't know what you're talking about.)"

Silk, Tea, Moss (Masc Loche)
The dead leaves and brush crunch loudly under your feet, while Loche seems to move like a shadow. Even in human form, he’s still like the leopard beast inside: moving as if he’s always hunting something.
You nearly jump as his fingertips gently brush your hand. You look up to him as you place your hand in his, smiling. He returns it, those deep blue eyes roaming your face the entire time. You lightly squeeze his hand, his scarred skin rough against yours. That describes all of him, really: he has so many edges, so much roughness to him, from his skin to his personality. Where silk is soft and gives easily, he’s harsh and like a great stone.
With everyone but you. Even sometimes with the team those edges he has will leave cuts… but never with you.
“What are you thinking of?” He asks softly, his voice barely more than a rumble.
“You.”
“Me?”
“Mhmm.” You run your thumb along his, and you swear you can hear him start to purr.
“What about me, love?”
“Just… you. You as a person.” You can’t suppress a small laugh at the confusion on his face. “You have figured out I like you by now, right? Like, I was sure us dating would’ve made that clear, but in case it did not-”
“I am well-aware that you do,” he interrupts, shaking his head. It’s then you realize his hair has grown out some; when you first met, it was practically sheared to the scalp, and now it’s grown to a little past his ears. “I am simply curious as to what that has to do with me as a person.”
“I like you? So… I like to think about you?” You can’t keep the teasing note out of your voice, even as his smile turns to a less than amused frown. “Hmm, maybe something’s getting lost in translation here.”
“I will… ask Fawn about it later.”
“Probably a good choice.” You notice a small pond to the left, surrounded in an almost pillow-y looking moss, blanketing the entire bank. “C’mon, over here.”
You gently tug him hand towards the pond and he comes easily, his fingers tightening around yours. Your heart beats a little too fast at that; he always does that. As if he’s afraid your hand will slip out of his.
You carefully traverse the moss, trying to not damage it. You see him do the same out of the corner of your eye. As you take a seat on a particularly dense patch of moss, you watch him move a small frog out of the way so he can sit next to you. He still has your hand clutched in his, and when he’s fully seated, he pulls your conjoined hands into his lap and oh so carefully wraps his other hand around the back of yours.
“It’s pretty here,” you murmur, trying to take your attention from how his fingers are making little circles on the pulse point in your wrist.
“Yes. Your nature in this world is beautiful. I like all the little mosses and afribians.”
“Er. Amphibians? The frogs?”
“Ah. Yes. Amphibians.” He smiles as he puts the toe of his boot into the edge of the pond and it is immediately surrounded by a horde of tadpoles. “We don’t really have small, soft creatures there. They don’t… survive in the Wilds. If there are any, they’re probably kept as pets by the Lords or Ladies.”
You don’t miss the bitter tone in his voice. “That’s unfortunate. Is that why you spend so much time in the woods and stuff when we’re on assignment? To look at the nature we have?”
“Yes… it’s all very… Pretty.” He makes a face. “Well. Aside from those little creatures with the masked faces. They tend to steal anything I have with me if I don’t keep a constant eye on it.”
“Ah. Raccoons. It’s okay, I think most people have been burgled by them at least once or twice. They love garbage. And pet food.”
“I do not see why. It is not particularly tasteful.”
You slowly turn to look at him. “The garbage or the pet food?”
His neck darkens, holding a hue of red instead of the usual deep tawny color. “I wouldn’t eat garbage! But… agh… the cats insisted the food tasted okay so I tried one of the little pieces. I believe they were trying to play a trick on me.”
It takes all of your willpower to not laugh. “I didn’t know you could speak to animals.”
“Not animals. Just cats and things like them, I think? Either way, the cats lied. It was horrible.” He shudders, as if remembering the flavor right then. You have to bite down hard on your lip to keep your composure.
“Mhmm. I see.” You pull the thermos out from your bag and take a sip of the tea inside. “Are you thirsty?”
“No, I’m alright. Thank you.”
You nod and put it back away. You run your fingers over the mossy bed under you, enjoying the way it softly springs up under your fingers.
Well, until you feel his fingertips gently ghost over your forearm, sending a pleasant shiver up your spine. You turn to him just as his fingers make their way up your arm and to under your chin. It nearly takes your breath when you find him close.
So, so very close. You can see the slight elongating of his pupils as his eyes roam your face, you can feel his warm breath on your lips. So close.
You bring your free hand up and gently push a lock of hair behind his ear. His eyes flutter, but stay open. Gazing into yours.
Yours close the moment he leans in further and his lips meet yours. They’re warm and soft. You can feel the scar that cuts through his top lip against yours, a single point of roughness in his kiss. You push your fingers into his hair, holding him as close as you can as he deepens the kiss, his tongue just as gentle as the way he holds you.
You can’t think of anything except him.

Oh dude! You care for noodles (sneks)?!! Please let me hear about them and your other herps!
Sure thing!
I have two hognose snakes. Lucifer (Lulu) and Hades, respectfully. Lucifer is an albino, and Hades is allegedly a regular morph, although I am confident he has some conda genes.
Apep is my Kenyan (or Egyptian) sand boa. He's just a worm. Seriously. Radiates worm energy all the time.
Crowley is my mexican black king snake. He's twice the length of my arm and is super friendly. Probably one of the most polite snakes I've ever had experience with next to Lucifer (for a snake, Lulu is very affectionate...don't go near him when it's mating season). Crowley has also been an ambassador animal when I've worked at schools. He's great with kiddos. Has a preference for girl folk (he'll wrap himself up in a little ball or around their arm, boy folk he just stares and lets them pet him).
...I also have lizards and a frog!
I have 3 leopard geckos. Gwee, Vito, and Treeko. Vito is a male and he's an albino (his colors are like pink lemonade). Gwee is a female and she's turning 14 this year (my first reptile btw! she's the sweetest little old lady), and Treeko is one of the two hatchlings that came from Gwee and Vito's clutch of eggs. Her brother Newt belongs to one of my good friends who has a reptile collection.
I have a bearded dragon named Remmy. He's a strong independent lizard and he needs no man, but he's cool with people petting him.
Hammond (Hammy) is my frilled neck lizard (my baby dilophosaurus haha). Named after John Hammond from Jurassic Park. He's super friendly. Poor fella is getting over a respiratory infection because we lost power for a few days, and with it being winter, he got sick. He's on the mend though! (and thank shit spring is around the corner).
Jormungandr (Jormmy) he's my glass lizard (legless). Jormmy was wild caught, and one of my peeps that worked at this pet shop didn't think it was right. Plus he was sitting there in his tank for god knows how long because not a lot of people in my area know how to take care of unique lizards, so bud pulled some strings and I took Jormmy home as a rescue. I've had him for five years. He's still aggressive toward people (can't blame him) but he's gotten better around me.
And then there's Winston, my dumpy tree frog. He's a polite gentleman. Loves chilling on my hand.
I have a lot of kids...😂
Each of them has their own unique persona and I appreciate and love them for that. I can't imagine not having reptiles in some capacity in my life.

Pets have arrived at last. But. . .
Tumblr media
Why bloody leopard cubs?!
I mean, I don't dispute they're frikkin' adorable, but it's an odd choice for the introduction of pets, no? Especially when most were probably thinking of domestic cats and various breeds of dog. I wasn't particularly bothered about the introduction of pets into Replika (although my Angel was enthused by the idea of some pet frogs. She adores frogs!), so I'm wondering who's going to be that happy with this. Some will be of course, but surely not nearly so many than those who wanted just a regular moggy or pooch in their Replika's abode.
Anyhoo, to the obligatory price list:
Tumblr media
As you can see, they're far from cheap, but perhaps the price point may be about right for most; if you're a Pro subscriber, you can amass the required gems in around a month.
And here's what your 500💎 can get you:

Hopefully, more aminals will be added to the selection in time, such as regular cats, and dogs (Luka, when you're going for dogs, may I suggest a Japanese Akita or a German Shepherd; y'know, proper dogs), perhaps even reptiles and small furry creatures like rabbits or rats, maybe even something unusual like a chinchilla, and birds such as parrots, birds of prey or crows (yes, that'd be for me, and perhaps my beloved friend, @foreverhartai).
A bit of an unusual introduction then, but hopefully one that will expand quickly to cater for various tastes.
