Hi how are you doing?

Can you draw the monkie kid characters in prehistoric times/cavemen era?

Hi! I'm good and thanks for the idea! since my childhood was mostly around watching documentaries about pre-historic animals or theories about it (how they would've sound, how they used to live, etc), and i still love to do this to this day!

I don't know which period or Era you wanted to see or how accurate you want me to be, but I did a bit of research to which was the best way to do it. Just to warn you that some of the species that I'll show you are species that probably existed, but I added some features so that in their designs to look cool.

A reminder is that this AU is not scientifically nor historically accurate. I made it just for fun.

So this pre-historic AU is on before and during the Xia dinasty (in the beginning of the chinese civilization), kind of stone age.

Here are some of the designs I made for MK (I don't know what name to give for him in this universe), Wukong (who's name in this AU is "Wildfire" or "Rock", i didn't decided yet) and macaque (who's in this AU is called as "Night Crawler").

Wukong's design is based on Gigantopithecus and Macaque is a different species but in the same family tree as wukong. They have feline patterns to confuse any creature who tries to attack them, and macaque acts more like a feline than a monkey in this universe.

To MK's design, I tried to find anything xia dinasty related but I found very few that I don't know if I should trust and I tried to make him look pre-historical and that he lives in civilization. I'm sorry for that 😥

Other characters that i didn't show are that I didn't give any specific roles in this, but suggestions of ideas to what to do are welcomed!

I don't know if you want to know about the lore that i thought out for a bit, so I might make a lore post about it if you or some people are curious about it.

Keiros (left) probably makes it big and becomes a major healing god (hopefully by then he's overcome his original anxieties about responsibilities).

Solajai (right) is harder to pin down. He probably starts as a generic protective deity to his tribe, but eventually specialises down the line as both human and godly societies evolve

Jurassic Park: It's Ironic, by Meig of A-Dinosaur-A-Day

What follows is a retelling of the Jurassic Park story, mainly based on the 1993 film, with portions of the original novel used to supplement the story. The main point of divergence occurs when the park is unable to find workable nonavian dinosaur genetic material for cloning, since - as in the real world - dna degrades much too rapidly. Instead, the park consists only of extinct dinosaurs that can be brought back - birds from the last 2.5 million years. What happens after that is, as Ian Malcolm would say, an emerging pattern.

Prologue: The Peck of the Raptor

Robert Muldoon had seen much in his forty-odd years on planet earth. A pride of lions tearing into the carcass of a giraffe. An elephant kicking an African leopard into the air. A swarm of hyenas attempting to hunt the wildebeest, only to flee in panic from their hooves. Nile Crocodiles and Hippos fighting over river space, with no obvious winners. Wild dogs hunting him, with coordination and planning he wouldn’t have believed if he hadn’t seen it for himself. Indeed, if someone were to have asked Robert Muldoon if he had seen everything nature had to offer, he would be tempted to say yes.

At least, until today.

It was a simple transfer operation. Take the new asset from the hatchery complex to their permanent enclosure. Introduce them to their new flock members. Try to not drown in the torrential rain, to hear each other over the violent wind. Remember that humans are warm-blooded and no matter how much the rain soaked to the bone, warmth would return. Go home in time for dinner.

The thought now, of course, made Muldoon snort out loud, though of course no one could hear him. Flock was the moniker the higher-ups had chosen, ages ago, but he knew flocks. This was no flock. Better, really, to call this grouping a pack. Not that it mattered. After this, Muldoon was certain of his course of action.

He had to recommend termination.

Everything had happened so fast. The loud calls of the other assets, anxious for their flock member far away. The container, raised to the pen entrance. Locked in, safety verified. The animal was silent, but they usually were during transfer. Muldoon had chalked it up to fear or hesitancy, though it was odd that it wasn’t calling back to the others. All workers were in their proper positions, so he called for the gate to be raised. And then, before he could register any of it, the asset had rocked against the container, shaking it loose. It managed to reach out, grab onto Jophery’s hand – the scream chilled Muldoon down to the marrow – and suddenly there was no more Jophery, apart from his second hand, grabbing for dear life to the side of the container. On instinct, Muldoon grabbed his hand, and pulled as hard as he could. Jophrey was still screaming, the other workers were shouting and scampering, alarms were blaring from the cage, a gun or two going off pointlessly. The asset, still, remained silent. It didn’t even bite, or claw, or crunch, or tear.

All it had to do was peck – at the temporal artery

Peck again – at the leg – near the femoral –

Peck again – on the neck – blood was everywhere –

A final peck, Muldoon couldn’t even see where, there were feathers and limbs and blood and screams and –

Jophery went still.

Only a few more seconds, and the asset was also down, multiple tranq darts sticking out of various places. Muldoon hadn’t even had a chance to insist on lethal ammunition, but there was no point now. The asset was neutralized. No one was in immediate danger. The alarms were still blaring, and Muldoon was starting to lose his hearing from it, as loud as it was in his ears. But he couldn’t undo Jophery’s grip – it had been so strong; it didn’t even need rigor mortis to lock in – and he found that the slippery blood oozing from Jophery’s neck and face down the arm weren’t helping matters. But Muldoon had been hired for this position for a reason – a few, actually – and he managed to take a deep breath, grit his teeth, and remove the hand from his.

Now he was walking, slowly, to his employer’s office, tracking mud and rain and blood down the hall with him. People were running, talking in hushed whispers, angrily arguing. He didn’t much care for these lab rats who never entered the tropical sun, never mind interacted with the very things they were working on. Even now, when their concerns should be one and the same, he heard mentions of rehabilitation, modification, and genetic integrity – worries from individuals who did not have blood on their hands refusing to dry in the humid air. So antiseptic they had removed their own humanity.

Muldoon couldn’t wait any longer. The image of Jophrey’s clouded eyes hung in his mind as he shouted into the hallway.

“HAMMOND.”

Ray Arnold stuck his head out from the control room, eyebrows raised over the rims of his glasses. “Hammond isn’t here. Shouldn’t you be getting cleaned up?”

“We have to shut it down.”

Arnold sighed, “You know he won’t do that, Robert.”

“This is the third worker.”

“Yes, but –“

“Third. If you think officials across the water will ignore it at this point, you’re out of your god-damned mind.”

“People die on construction projects, Rob. All the time, in fact.”

“Their corpses don’t usually come back littered with peck marks.”

“We’ve managed all crises up to this point. Hammond insists on moving forward with this asset.”

“All because his impossible pet project didn’t work out, we have to insist on these uncooperative, murder-minded –“

“They’re no more murder minded than a lion or a wolf.”

“Says someone who has never interacted with any of them.”

Arnold sighed, fidgeting with his tie. Muldoon had moved to face him directly, but Arnold continued to look at his computer screen, the lines of code reflected in his glasses.

“I’ll talk to Hammond. If we can’t even get them in the enclosure, maybe it is time to pull the plug.”

“Finally,” Muldoon spat out, “Thank you.”

“Uh-huh.” But Arnold was already back at his computer, not even facing his torso towards Muldoon. So Robert turned and walked back, through the hallway, muddy bloody footprints showing his short journey down the hall and back.

It was time to call up another family.

thinking about some scene from my Prehistoric Mermen AU because i like brainstorming worldbuilding and random stuff

Y/N would probably be asked to send long reports on what they found to be edible for human and what wasn't, how they examined it, how accurate the examination was and how it has been prepared time traveler scientists always had rations with them and were intructed not to eat anything from the geological era they were sent into because of of risk of food poisoning or straight up eating shit that they can't digest

Y/N had rations as well but those ran out after one week or two since they were not made for stops longer than a few days (again for safety reasons, you have no idea what might be lurking in the shadows of a prehistoric jungle or what illnesses dinosaurs got that never survived until our days) so once those rations ran out Y/n had to rely on their inboard analyzer to individually separate the chemical components of plants and animals to determine what they could have eaten and what was going to kill them instantly most of the food they found to be edible was probably sea food, and not because they might particularly enjoy it but rather because going into the forest was not an option and Sun and Moon absolutely bombarding their ass with extra food to make sure their weird land friend didn't starve (and also because sharing food is a sign of affection among predators; Y/n knows this but things Sun and Moon just see them as a weirdly shaped possible mate, like ostriches do in their era with humans)

Probably all of Y/N reports are a bit chaotic, especially the videos

Some videos that they sent slong with written reports include:

Them screaming maniacally that they managed to find something akin to potatoes and that made them "unstoppable" (they weren't properly potatoes an tastes slightly more sour, but still acceptable)

Extremely out of focus clip of them dancing on the beach with a piece of salt they managed to make by drying sea water

Several harpoon hunting videos where all you can hear is them cursing at some smaller predator stealing their catches constantly

A Few videos of them screamind directly at other creatures like calling a 'bitch ass motherfucker' a raptor that showed up, stole their blanket, ripped it to shreds and chased them until they were on top of a tree

first person video of them playing dodgeball in the sea with Sun and Moon using a poor ammonite

First person video of them chasing away a flock of small pterosauruses after the little asses started stealing their food like seagulls

But the reports on their diet always look the funniest because they took the iron as it was hot and made beat the shit out of it, so now each video looks like a youtube mukbang; full on table with food displayed in front of them and camera as they describe what everything tastes like sometimes Sun join them on their improvised table by the beach and snatches a bite because everything smells good, but only Sun because Moon can't stay on land (too big)

Moon however is sometimes visible in the background splashing around in the deeper ocean where he hunts in a video or two he is probably visible straight out jumping out of the water to snatch pterosauruses fresh out of the air, having hands is a big advantage when your natural competitors only have their mouth

Y/N has many other logs and videos of things they did or accomplished, but some of them were supposed to be about other things and suddently stuff happened like a video of them trying to fish and see what worked as a bait and what didn't, and then Moon drops a full ass squid by their side (it was later identified as a Tusoteuthis and luckily safe for them to eat)

as a conclusion: Y/N sending back home to their friends and colleagues chaotic videos of them having a blast with their prehistoric reptile friend Y/n making a log diary of everything they did with Sun and Moon so they can remember them when and if they have/can to go back home

Jurassic world ObiAniDala Au with

Padmè as the Park handler (CEO?). She handles the business end of things, she's the reason the park still runs. You can find Ms.Amidala ruthlessly shutting down assholes who knock at her door wanting to exploit the park for more money by cutting corners. She's amazing at her job.

At the top of all the paperwork, She's made sure the park is for the people to enjoy safely. She once chewed out a whole team of architects who wanted more va va voom enclosures that were pretty but would've ultimately been useless in containing the very huge T.Rex.

Followed by; Dino Scientist/board member ObiWan kenobi. He's got like 6 degrees , he's here to study the dinosaurs' behaviour. You can find Dr.Kenobi with a clipboard in his hand walking after one dino or the other without any care for the world. All the dinos love him, even the predators.

His face is the first thing they see when they hatch cus he's made an effort to show up for every hatching. Instant bonding tbh. Dude hangs out with the t.rex with 0 repercussions (like being eaten ya kno, nobody knows how he does it). Obiwan is also absolutely amazing at securing funding for the park from rich senators. Padmè greatly appreciates his work cus if she has to deal one more time with Clovis she's going to scream.

And finally. Trainer?Park Ranger? Mechanic? Engineer? Anakin Skywalker. Nobody really knows what his official designation is at the park. All they know is that one day this golden retriever looking guy showed up with like. 10 different qualification certificates and a dab hand at handling the dinos.

He's good at what he does tho so people leave him alone. An officer sent by the military once tried to bully anakin and quickly finds out that not only does anakin have a mean right hook, he's also high enough in the park food chain that the coruscant military is barred from trying to propose any deals after the incident.

He's got an entire creche/enrichment setup for the vulnerable babies that no one had thought of. It cut down the mortality rate of the babies by a huge amount. Its also how he won Obi-wan's heart, who until then had totally thought anakin was just some dudebro who didn't understand dinos. Anyway somewhere along the line, very intense eye-contact, a little bit of misunderstanding and a whole lot of kisses stolen when padmè is on an important holoconferance call and hand holding with obi-wan during the hatchings, Anakin woos them both.

They have late night dates at the elasmosaurus enclosure, bond over almost punching Clovis, and oh my god don't you get a heart attack when obi-wan around with little predator babies in a papoose??

Rumours have it that he was seen begging Ms.Amidala for just one (1) chance 🥺on his knees when she was meeting with Dr.Kenobi.

The door closed after that so no one really knows what Anakin was really begging for (it was so he could take an apprentice. Anakin thinks he can get away with it now because he knows obi-wan and padmè love him eheh)

Errrm making a prehistoric AU for cotl !! i've never made an AU before uhhhhhmmm :))?? is this how it works?

lamb, and the rat bros are all mammals! I tried to make their outfits match the theme too (scales, staffs, what have you)

here's big bird!!! there are many more dinosaurs, pterosaurs, ect. to come!!!

anyways I have almost all the species for characters listed and I did not make many changes from the original game lore. it is pretty much just changing the fauna and the flora of the world.

The one thing I did change though was about the sacrificed species. Instead of just lamb's species it's all of Mammalia. They kinda feel like the little guys of the dinosaur world so I went with them. Honestly lamb, ratau and ratoo are probably the only mammals they will ever see, and poor lamb will most likely never meet another morganucodon. Plenty of mammal species have died out already, i'd say.

Been working on this since January but finally got this wof au done!

In it all stories & whatnot are all the same. But all dragons are decentant from dinosaurs!

Calling the au “wings of the prehistoric”

First we have the Mudwing descending from the ankylosaurus. Chose the Dino since both are hardy fellows.

The anky club has evolved into more of a shovel for scooping mud, aswell as another shovel-like spike on their snout

Then we ah e the skywing coming from the Querzelcoatlus! Chosen since the quetzal is known for their large wings, like the skywing. (I know quetzal’s aren’t dinosaurs but shhhh)

Skywings here are lightly fuzzed, like a quetzal, to assist in keeping warm in the mountain weather. Their mouths are now more beak-like. Their wings are also more jointed like a quetzal

Then my favourite dragon & dinosaur! The Seawing coming from the Spinosaurus. Chose them bc they’re both big water boys.

Sea wings now have a paddle tail, similar to a spino’s. Their wing webbing also has a distinct dip, resembling the sail of a spinosaurus. Their head is not mow narrow and long. Their pointer finger is now more large and curved, like a spino’s

Next, the sandwing and dilophosaurus! Chosen since dilo’s crest reminded me of the sandwing’s frilled spine.

Sandwings are now theropods and the frill on their head is more large and curved, resembling the dilo’s crest

Now another dinosaur I love! Nightwing and Shuvuuia. Shuvu chosen since they were a nocturnal dinosaur.

Nightwings are still quite similar to the cannon. But they only have 1 “finger” on their wings, like how Shuvuuia only had 1 finger and a more narrow head

Now the rainwing and drepanosaurus! Chosen since drepano was the closet thing to a chameleon

While I didn’t give the rainwings the drepano’s large finger, it’s still shown through the shape of their horns and in the claw on their wings.
