This Christmas may we pray for those who could not be here today. Whose lives were lost. Whose lives were taken.
Pray for the orphans in Palestine. May they find peace. May they find food. May they find shelter. May they find love in their communities Lord. Free them from this nightmare.
Pray for the children of Sudan Lord. The mistreatment and displacement of them, Lord. Bring upon them freedom. Bring their voices forward. Uplift their cries for help, that I pray they receive.
Pray for the Children of Congo. Free them. Free them from their terrors and opressors. Uplift their voices so their cries may be heard. End the cycle, Lord. Defeat the evils of hoarding resources and the greed of others. The Greed that steals their precious young lives.
Holy Spirit Come Now.
Come Holy Spirit.
Guide us to the hope and drive for a better world. Let us love the world we live in and share, and with that indulge in the love for one another. May we collectively share a disgust for the dishonor and inhumanity inflicted upon these people, Lord.
Free Them Lord
Free Them from their nightmares.
Free Them from their opressors.
Free Them from the cycle where the western world runs on their suffering. Lend us your power and strength to destroy and dismantle the systems that chokehold these children.
Protect Them.
Bless Them.

LGBTQ Muslims Call for Permanent Ceasefire in Front of Stonewall
One-hundred LGBTQ Muslims gathered for a jummah prayer for Palestine in front of the Stonewall National Monument on Friday to demonstrate that there is “no pride in genocide.” “Queer Muslim New Yorkers are rising up in solidarity with Palestinians, and through a queer Muslim-led interfaith prayer, they will stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people who are facing genocide, starvation, and ethnic cleansing at the hands of the Israeli government backed by the United States,” organizers said in a statement. “Queer communities face historical discrimination, prejudice, violence, criminalization, lack of proper healthcare and/or gender affirming care, and more — and here in the U.S. queer activists have been rising up against increased LGBTQ+ attacks, yet their struggles are being exploited in a dangerous narrative war to suggest that there would be no place for queer people in Palestine,”

 وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِأَمَانَاتِهِمْ وَعَهْدِهِمْ رَاعُونَ (8)
And they who are to their trusts and their promises attentive
وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَوَاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ (9)
And they who carefully maintain their prayers -
 أُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْوَارِثُونَ (10)
Those are the inheritors
الَّذِينَ يَرِثُونَ الْفِرْدَوْسَ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ (11)
Who will inherit al-Firdaus. They will abide therein eternally.

May the angels of Palestine live peacefully in Jannah. May we hear and learn from their stories that touch our hearts, and may they finally live as beautifully as they deserve in paradise.

really do not think people understand the extent to which palestinian sites/landmarks (especially muslim ones) were destroyed, beginning in 1948 until now, even in cities. the oldest extant mosque in jaffa (al-bahr mosque) was built in 1675, even though islam came there in the 7th century

May Loki watch over the children of Palestine, and the young college kids who had the strength and the guts to speak on what's right. If you can't save them... bring them comfort.
May Apollo aid the ill and injured, may he guide the medics trying with every fiber of their being to save lives.
May Artemis hear the cries of a mother or daughter and give them the inner strength to keep on going.

"To have never gone to war is something to be proud of."
A lot of GODZILLA MINUS ONE's anti-war message resonates heavily with me. Despite being set ~80 years ago and specifically in one region of the world, its sentiment is universal.
And I turn to the real world, and I see the very thing the movie spoke against - no one deserves to die just because some well-dressed people in business suits say so.
"One side must be obliterated" is not anti-war. Lobbing munitions capable of leveling entire buildings and calling the casualties "human shields" is not anti-war. Boasting of being an upholder of peace while supplying weapons to oppressors is not anti-war.
Saying no to a ceasefire is not anti-war.

[The first video shows people marching at night. The second video shows a group of women praying.]
🚨 A mass march has erupted now headed towards the zionist embassy in the Jordanian capital of Amman in anger at the IOF's crimes in Gaza—including the rape and killing of women, the siege of Al-Shifa Hospital, and the violations of Al-Aqsa—and in support of the resistance.
Meanwhile, women staged a sit-in to denounce the occupation's crimes and support the women of Gaza.

Praying for the boys and men of Palestine, who are targeted unjustly, stripped of clothings, of pride and dignity. May they taste freedom in every breath and see their families again soon.
Praying for the girls and women of Palestine, whose intimates have been stolen and paraded around, their bodies used and abused. May comfort, love and respect find them and envelop them.
Praying for the babies of Palestine, so that they may have a future filled with love, laughter, education, and many, many celebrations and milestones.
Thank you Creator for listening, for seeing, and for healing.

Motaz hasn't updated for almost 20hrs. Is this the longest we've gone without an update from him?
Tumblr media
That's the last post to his story, IG warning him that his photo post might be in violation of their guidelines.
Strikes have been hitting his neighbourhood constantly. I don't want to think the worst so I'm praying as hard as I did when we lost contact with Bisan before. Like her, Motaz is a light in this darkness.
I know a lot of you follow him too so if you feel compelled to, if it's something you do and believe in, say a prayer for him.
Attend those marches if you are able, keep sharing, posting and speaking out. Keep calling on your reps & your governments for a ceasefire. How many more lives lost will it take? CEASEFIRE NOW!!
Free Palestine 🇵🇸
