So… after watching the Cinderella Trilogy, I’ve come to the question of; Did dresses back then always have pockets? If so:why have they stopped putting pockets on them? And if not:why don’t they have pockets for women’s dresses?

arthur shouldve had a scene like in sinbad when he's told to disarm and he starts putting down like half the armoury....and merlin's not even using magic for this arthur just Has that many weapons with him at given moment- he's not even in armour
and he's not even hiding them?? its just that no one ever expects him to be a walking armoury, but it makes lot more sense now how arthur will occasionally just hand people whatever sharp thing they need and it's like- "why the fuck does he have a scalpel"

I'm glad Jodie didn't do this for a lot of reasons, but at some point, I hope they do have someone playing the Doctor whose costume is a dress.
But the thing is, I want them to wear a dress in the same way that Six wears a suit.
We need full-on batty art teacher vibes, the sonic screwdriver's stuck holding up their bun, giant cardigan, patterned fabric, leggings in a completely different color, the whole nine yards.
The Doctor as the exact same genderweird chaos gremlin as always, just... in a dress this time.

Re: the lack of demand for wool thanks to propaganda causing more waste; my parents live part-time in a small village in Ireland that is about half populated by sheep farmers. ALL those farmers have had to pivot away from wool production to mutton production, because they can't survive off selling the wool anymore. So now they are killing exponentially more sheep than they were killing before, since. You know. You don't have to kill the sheep to harvest the wool!
God, this is incredibly sad
all that wool that could become, not just winter/cold-weather fabric, but summer-weight wool that's excellent for temperature regulation!
and of course, the irony of killing more sheep because P*TA told you the non-lethal sheep product was evil

I made a belt pouch from old jeans and scrap fabric today c: very much inspired by @coveredinredpaint bc the second I saw their pouch (in this post) I was so motivated to make my own 🦇
