Rui's parents are good parents who love and support their son in all his endeavors and I think Rui would be really open towards them. Especially after joining Wondershow.

Anyways, Rui's mom asked if she could use Rui's phone and Rui's like "Sure"

She ended up needing to open the gallery, asked him, and he's like "yeah I don't mind"

What he forgets is that he had walls and walls of Tsukasa Tenma photos. His poses, him passing out after a day of practice, him admiring something, him mid rehearsal, etc. Just him too.

As he comes to the sudden realization, his mom is already looking at him expectantly.

Rui: (it clicks) "Mom wait oh n-"

Rui's Mom: "..."

Rui: "...I can explain"

That's the first time Rui's mom actually saw Tsukasa instead of just hearing about him. She gets tempted to tease him, but Rui's a full blown wreck at this point, snatching his phone away and curling up in the corner of the couch.

It's so much like his middle school behavior, but for such a different reason. She can't help but smile.

She just goes up to her son, pats his head, and just whispers "You can do it!" to him before leaving.

...Rui ate his veggies for dinner without much complaint that night. His mother just laughs while his father is over there like "Huh. What. What happened. Is everything ok?? Rui are you actually EATING your carrots??!?"

A/N: I blame @dollwrites for getting me into this.

TOYA

Gives very shy and insecure kisses , not due to the fact that he's not skilled but more because he feels like you're one of the people he's the most invested in and could therefore get most carried away with. Kisses on the cheek are his favorite because he can spend many minutes making sure he kisses you everywhere and he doesn't have to worry about leaving marks behind, but there have been times where you left lipstick marks on his cheeks.

AKITO

He has two types of kisses, the almost lazy, slow ones after classes where he doesn't show much energy other then when he's in good company, and the hard, demanding, passionate ones after a show where he will leave you gasping for air. Both have their benefits, the lazy ones take more time, therefore you can savor every little detail of him, his hums and laughter. But the post-concert ones are the ones that make you dizzy and needy for more right away.

TSUKASA

Wants every kiss to be better, more memorable then the last. He always seeks you out in the crowd, knowing you'd be somewhere at the front and blows you air kisses. Those are always for you, just for you. He makes sure that you get flustered when you're with him, he nibbles on your ear when your guard is down to get you to pay attention to him, he bites on your lip to get you to whimper, but he also kisses your hand every time it's time for him to go home.

RUI

Loves to sneak you backstage to kiss you senseless on the couch before he has to say goodbye to everyone. When you have limited time you seem more desperate for him then when he's at your place or vice versa, meaning that he can also get away with a lot more playfulness and risks by kissing and marking your neck and feeling you squirm under him. It's also more fun if you get interrupted in the middle of kissing and your lipstick is all over his smug face.

miscellaneous PJSK headcanons

Ena and Akito are adoptive siblings. Akito was adopted into the Shinonome family when they were toddlers

Nene had selective mutism when she was younger. she was only able to freely speak to her family, Rui and his parents. she overcame it throughout the years with therapy, but still occassionally has days where it's really difficult for her to talk

Kanade has albinism, which is partially why she doesn't like going outside, she's conscious that she sunburns easily

pretty much contradicted by their canon younger depictions, but the lighter blue in Toya and An's hair, pink in Saki's and Rui's turquoise streaks are all dyed

Rui can't do mental maths beyond the very simple. yes, he is really good at complicated maths, but he can only do the calculations if he can write it all out, he isn't able to keep track of all the numbers in his head (they get lost within all his ideas.) he is still shockingly quick about it, though

Shizuku is on very friendly terms with the librarian at her local library, who lets her sit in a room at the back that the rest of the public isn't able to access, so Shizuku isn't bothered by fans when she's trying to read in peace and quiet

Ena has been offered modelling jobs from companies that have seen her social media pictures but she's turned them down because she quite literally just couldn't be bothered

An and Akito did each other's piercings past midnight in An's bathroom during middle school. it involved a lot of swearing and smacking each other's hands away and hurt and risk of infection but they don't regret it

when they were very small children, Tsukasa would put Saki and Toya to sleep by reading stories to them. it was one of the rare times his parents would hear him speak so quietly

Rui is coulrophobic. yes, people regularly point out the irony of his outfits resembling those of clowns' but it's really the ones with heavy face paint that creep him out. part of the reason he knows so many secret ways of getting around PXL is because he needs to avoid seeing all of the ones performing there when he's walking around

assigning behaviors I've noticed in people to pjsk characters:

tsukasa: writes his name EVERYWHERE. his desk at school has "tsukasa" "tsukasa" "tsukasa" "tsukasa" written all over it, his notebooks too and even his classmates' notebooks (from a classmate)

shizuku: says "oh, madonna!" instead of "oh god" (from my italian grandpa)

saki: tsukasa rides a bike and saki sits on the handlebar & every time they have to stop they fall off but they just get up and go on like nothing's happened (from an old friend)

mizuki: accidentally sends "penis shaped messages" and immediately points it out (me)

ena: is so fucking done with mizuki's penis messages (my friends)

kanade: "uhh i think I'm forgetting something? oh well it probably wasn't important" hasn't drank water since yesterday (me again)

rui: extremely verbose, to the point where everyone around him thinks he's some sort of philosophical genius but in reality he's just saying dumb shit and articulating it intelligently (my italian grandpa again so sorry)

an: sends her friends "hot milfs in your area" messages pretending to be a bot because silly and immediately gets banned ( @robinoullea literally)

airi: wants to be supportive but types way too quickly ( @robinoullea trying to say "10/10")

emu: says the most deranged things in roblox chats and manages to not get censored while her friend (nene) can't even go one sentence without "########" ( @harukaisu )

nene, trying to tell tsukasa to reset his roblox avatar because he got stuck: uhhh kill yourself (me) (I'M SO SORRY)

minori: tries to download a pin and accidentally sends it to a random person and dies of embarrassment (everyone. no one is safe from Pinterest's AWFUL interface)

ichika: goes into a store. gets an ingredient. goes back home. goes back. gets an ingredient. goes back home. repeat until she's got everything to make dinner when it's already 11pm (my forgetful mom)

mafuyu: has the most DERANGED dreams I'm not even kidding ( @robinoullea when he had that one dream where he sent me a tiktok meme of Richard Watterson saying the names of popular pornstars with them flashing on screen for a second each. I've cried real tears about this btw)

kohane: has a chicken farm in minecraft but she's so attached to them that she can't kill any of them for food so they just keep reproducing and in turn the server keeps getting laggier. eventually a creeper explodes right next to it and she throws herself off a mountain (me)

haruka: uses the default pfp which is also the pfp that shows when you get blocked by someone. she also turns her phone off often (which causes messages to not get sent until it's on) so minori always panics and sends her messages to make sure she's not blocked (classmate)

akito: makes gagging noises on purpose because it makes ena gag too and get VERY annoyed and he finds it funny (classmate)

toya: unintentionally causes a lot of fights in vbs regarding what the best way to make coffee is (my whole friend group) (except me i do it on purpose)

honami: whenever someone tags her in l/n's group chat she heroically says "who calls for my help?" ( @robinoullea )

shiho: doesn't have the heart to tell honami how funny it is when she does that (not me i always make sure to mention it)

Some WxS headcanons!

Tsukasa's posture is super good due to being a pianist (and because bad posture is unbecoming of a star). It contrasts Nene and Rui's horrible shrimp posture which is caused by gaming and working on robots hunched. And you know that feeling where your back is really straight because you're excited? Emu also has good posture because of that.

Nene enjoys underground industrial music but is too nervous to go to music venues by herself. The rest of WxS accompany her and even let Nene decide their outfits! (Cue WxS pulling up to venues dressed in cybergoth fashion.)

Emu struggles with intrusive thoughts and anxiety and the rest of WxS always comfort her.

They all do their makeup together backstage and help each other with it. Rui is the makeup expert while Nene isn't super experienced. Tsukasa likes natural makeup while Rui and Emu enjoy it for art purposes rather than beautification. Nene is fine without makeup but may conceal her eyebags after gaming all night.

Tsukasa loves doing his nails and doing his friends' nails too! The rest of WxS are usually the subjects to his nail design experimentation. They all have cute matching nails, courtesy of Tsukasa. He also likes sewing costumes for them and creating clothes based on their requests.

wxs hcs: emu has the strongest immune system known to man you can count the amount of times she’s gotten sick her entire life on one hand. rui on the other hand has the worst immune system. the lack of vegetables comes for him eventually. he gets sick pretty often but its usually “not that bad” (bad enough that he would have the right to stay home but its rui kamishiro we’re talking about he is not taking care of himself. i think he would take that opportunity to skip during middle school though) so he manages. sometimes he becomes a sickly victorian child on its last days though. nene is only a bit better bc she eats her vegetables and does not have the million deficiencies i know rui does. tsukasa also rarely gets sick. not as little as emu but he’s very germ conscious and eats well so its still pretty rare of him. also the kind of guy to push through it anyway and have to be dragged to bed.

WxS hc:

Nene is the only member to not use any emoticons/emoji. Rui uses the :3, Emu uses one like every 5 words, and Tsukasa uses the star emojis a lot. Nene is also the designated text translator when Emu is in a gc with anyone outside of WxS because Emu's messages are borderline incomprehensible.

Yes!!!! I actually never really thought about any headcanons for Emu, so this got me thinking :0

Also there is no organization I just wrote down anything that came to mind I'm sorry about the mess

The symbols in Emu's dialogue when she talks are used in the same way when she texts, but they confuse Tsukasa. Will he say anything about it? No.

She also uses emoticons at the end of her texts a lot °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°

Whenever WxS has a rehearsal, she always brings snacks to share.

Emu loves watching children's shows! Her favorite characters are Pinkie Pie and Bluey.

She plays Roblox obbys and tycoons a lot.

She is practically immune to sickness. You could count the number of times she's been sick on one hand.

Somehow, Emu will always have a stash of candy on her. If you ask her for something to eat she will magically produce a piece of candy out of nowhere.

She eats chewy candy a lot because if she doesn't she will find something else to chew on.

Sometimes Emu cuts her bangs. It went really badly at first but she eventually managed to get it. She still doesn't cut all her hair herself though, she doesn't trust herself to not mess up the back of her hair (Unrelated to PJSK but it'll probably look as bad as Xingqiu's hair I'm so sorry-)

Emu loves children's coloring books and uses crayons!!

She also draws with crayons sometimes, though she usually uses a colored pen.

SPEAKING OF COLORED PENS!!! If she's not zoning out in class and actually takes notes they're SUPER colorful and has doodles all over them! Kind of similar to sketch notes or two page spreads (I literally do not know the difference but according to my English teacher there is)

She has those glow in the dark stars on the ceiling of her room and a few on her walls.

She used to have braces.

She sometimes pulls her shirt over her knees when sitting on the floor. Anyone around her has to watch her closely when she does that in case she suddenly jumps up and loses her balance because of it.

I can't decide if Emu has a high or low spice tolerance

Aahhhhhhh I would write more but I'm tired, it's midnight, and I have 26 vocabulary words to go over before school I'm gonna finish my dumb homework and head to bed but anyways thanks for asking!! I had a lot of fun coming up with headcanons for a character I didn't have much for!!! ^^

I'm a firm believer that Wondershow is basically obsessed with Nene's waist long hair

Tsukasa, in a creative stump, asked Nene if he could fiddle with her hair. At first Nene was like. What. But she wasn't doing anything anyway so she let him. It helped a lot, but Tsukasa just kind of.

Tsukasa: "Wow, your hair is dry. What shampoo are you using??"

Nene: "...store brand? It's just shampoo"

Tsukasa: "What. WHAT?!? You psychopath??"

And started recommending a couple shampoos he thinks would suit her hair type.

Emu also loves to put clips and style her friend's hair, especially Nene since her hair is so long. She has a special box for her that fits her whole theme. Nene realizes that, huh, her friends really like her hair. And started wanting to actually care for it properly so her friends would play with it more comfortably (she actually really likes the physical touch)

Rui's mom asked him to grab something from the store and he dragged Nene along. And caught her secretly buying the shampoo Tsukasa recommended and held it over her since.

listen, i love Rui but he is ABSOLUTELY the type of lad who is fucking incapable of keeping his elbows to himself at the dinner table. in his defense, he can't help that he's got long arms, but they go like halfway across the table so he's a complete NIGHTMARE to sit next to

i can imagine poor Nene making the horrible, horrible mistake of sitting between him and Tsukasa at the lunch table in school one day.

my girl just wanted to eat her food but spent the entire time getting digged in the ribs by Rui's bloody sharp elbows from one side, and nearly whacked around the head by Tsukasa's dramatic hand gestures from the other. all accidental, of course. didn't stop her from wanting to snap the arms off of the pair of them though. she never complained about Emu being too noisy and hyperactive to sit next to ever again

also. forget about sitting OPPOSITE Rui at a table too. unless you REALLY fancy getting kicked in the ankles every two seconds because he has no clue where to put his long bloody legs and if he doesn't give into the neurodivergent urge to swing his legs, he'll explode and die
