I think we as a community should start using the phrase 'put them in the babypile' when talking about characters we headcanon as age regressors.

examples of how I've been using the term:

"(insertname) belongs in the babypile"

"we're putting (insertname) into the babypile"

"do you think he/she/they belong in the babypile?"

It's a term I've been using with my friends when talking about agere and I feel its a silly way of talking about your headcanoned regressors.

saki tenma is an age regressor and she regresses whenever she needs to but she tends to regress a lot when she’s sleepy and then tsukasa makes her a yummy hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows and helps her change into her fluffy pyjamas and get all cozy in bed and read her a story until she goes to sleep. i don’t make the rules </3

What is a fictional caregiver and/or regressor?

If you're in the fandom agere community, you may have seen the term 'fictional caregiver' and not know what it means, which I hope to explain here.

For me a fictional caregiver is a character I imagine looking after me while I am regressed and/or or in a bad mindset. It can help me calm down imagining someone looking after me especially because I don't want a real caregiver.

In my experience it's similar to self-shipping. Like self-shipping doesn't need to be romantic in nature, and can easily be platonic, queer platonic, or another type of relationships.

I imagine that having a fictional regressor is similar, but I don't really have any ability to be a caregiver so I can't speak on this topic.

I hope this explains everything! If I made a mistake please lmk!!!
