Rui's parents are good parents who love and support their son in all his endeavors and I think Rui would be really open towards them. Especially after joining Wondershow.

Anyways, Rui's mom asked if she could use Rui's phone and Rui's like "Sure"

She ended up needing to open the gallery, asked him, and he's like "yeah I don't mind"

What he forgets is that he had walls and walls of Tsukasa Tenma photos. His poses, him passing out after a day of practice, him admiring something, him mid rehearsal, etc. Just him too.

As he comes to the sudden realization, his mom is already looking at him expectantly.

Rui: (it clicks) "Mom wait oh n-"

Rui's Mom: "..."

Rui: "...I can explain"

That's the first time Rui's mom actually saw Tsukasa instead of just hearing about him. She gets tempted to tease him, but Rui's a full blown wreck at this point, snatching his phone away and curling up in the corner of the couch.

It's so much like his middle school behavior, but for such a different reason. She can't help but smile.

She just goes up to her son, pats his head, and just whispers "You can do it!" to him before leaving.

...Rui ate his veggies for dinner without much complaint that night. His mother just laughs while his father is over there like "Huh. What. What happened. Is everything ok?? Rui are you actually EATING your carrots??!?"

do you have everything about all of their parents? i for some reason can’t find anything about ichika’s mom, rui’s dad or emu’s mother (i may be blind, pretty sure emu’s mother was mentioned and ichika’s mom was aswell. i know she was mentioned in ichika’s introduction but i haven’t seen her in story yet)

The parents who don’t have physical appearances are generally less important and rarely show up or are mentioned (with a few exceptions) but we do learn some things about them from card stories and such. Here’s some stuff I can remember about the faceless/nameless parents

Ichika’s parents met because they liked the same song. It’s where her name comes from.

also her dad reads manga

We don’t know much about her mother. she's nice though.

Saki and Tsukasa’s mother is a piano teacher. Considering that she’s friends with Harumichi, she probably used to play professionally

We don’t know much about their father, but he has a tendency to spoil Saki (mentioned in Tenma Hinamatsuri)

Honami’s mother is a beautician (mentioned in an area conversation iirc) and her father is a hairstylist (mentioned in Petit SEKAI Episode 6)

Shiho and Shizuku’s mother is a koto instructor and their father used to be a guitarist in a band

We don’t know much about Minori’s parents but they show up in STEP by STEP!. They initially had concerns about her switching courses and being a full-time idol, but after seeing that Minori was prepared and determined to be an idol they let her go ahead

We don't know a huge amount about Haruka and Airi's parents either. Similar to Minori, we know they are nice parents and supportive of their idol careers and that's about it.

Haruka's mother is a nail artist. She was worried about Haruka when she was younger because she rarely smiled.

Kohane's dad is a photographer. He's also the one who bought Count Pearl.

According to Kohane, he has a penchant for coming up with weird names

An mentions in MEIKO's 1* card story that her mother, Yuka, is not a good cook.

I think it's stated somewhere that Yuka is a teacher but don't quote me on that

Akito and Ena's mother makes them eat their carrots because she thinks they should at least try to eat the things they don't like.

She's pretty laid-back and thinks her kids should be able to do whatever they want to do. She's meant to be the polar opposite of Mrs Asahina.

In Ena's fes card it's revealed that she kept some of the old art that Ena threw away in case she ever regretted it

Toya's mother used to bake him cookies a lot and that's why he likes them

She was also very overprotective of him when he was younger and basically wouldn't let him do any recreational games or activities in case he injured himself and couldn't play piano.

She taught Toya to play the violin. I'm assuming that she used to play professionally and that's how she met Harumichi.

We don't really know anything about Emu's mother iirc. She's mentioned occasionally but I don't remember her ever appearing off the top of my head. In Smile of Dreamer it's mentioned that she's abroad doing volunteer work in Cambodia.

Nene and Rui's mothers are good friends due to being neighbours. Nene even used to call Rui's mother "auntie" when they were younger. Her mother recorded a lot of her performances from when she was little.

Beyond that we don't really know anything. I don't remember Nene's dad ever appearing but he is mentioned.

Rui's mother is a biologist, as mentioned in Revival my dream. I have a theory that she mainly works in entomology (study of bugs), or maybe more specifically lepidopterology (study of moths and butterflies), because Rui talks a lot about a moth at one point and has books on butterflies in that event. He talks about some other bugs as well.

His dad is a robotics engineer, also mentioned in Revival my dream. He doesn't actually appear though.

Rui's mother had a very similar background to Rui. She was often called weird and eccentric because of her interest in biology and didn't have any friends until meeting Rui's father, who was really into robotics.

We don't know a huge amount about Mafuyu's father. He does push her to achieve as much as her mother does, but he seems to have limits.

We don't know a lot about Mizuki's parents either, but they are very supportive of them and were worried when they started skipping school

because methinks. mr kamishiro made little things for mrs kamishiro back when they started dating. nothing crazy like rui nowadays because unfortunately he wasn’t blessed with that creativity, but little simple things with a lot of heart. a massager. desk lamp with their initials engraved on it. cute-shaped computer mouse or alarm clock. tiny things like that.

On That Neon Stage - Ruikasa Week 2023

Day 2: AU (Sekai Swap: Niigo Tsukasa & VBS Rui)

"Say, Tsukasa-kun. Have you ever considered going to our live?"

Tsukasa hummed, playing around with the rice of his lunch. "I have."

"But?"

A sigh escaped him. "It's complicated."

Something is holding him back and he knows this. He doesn't want to put the blame on anyone but himself. He's the one who got too attached to an empty house. He's the one who is too afraid to miss a phone call. He's the one who is a coward to tell anyone that he doesn't have anywhere else to go. He's the selfish one for wanting someone to stay with him. He's the-

"Tsukasa-kun."

Tsukasa let out a gasp. He looked at the hand that was on his shoulder which lead to Rui's concerned face. "Are you okay? You've been tapping your knees a lot."

"Yeah." Tsukasa sighed, calming himself down. "I'm fine. Sorry."

"It's okay." Rui gave him a reassuring smile. "I'm the one who should say sorry here. I didn't mean to overwhelm you."

Tsukasa shook his head. "You did nothing wrong. I was overreacting."

Rui stared at him with concern. Tsukasa was not used to the attention, not after pulling himself back from the crowd. Surely Rui has someone else to care for, like his music partner who happens to be his sister. Both of them didn't start with the right foot. Thinking that Kanade was forcibly dragged into an underground fight club, Tsukasa almost beat Rui. Fortunately, Kanade managed to fix the misunderstanding. Tsukasa allows Kanade to join Rui and his band with a few rules. He's the older brother, after all, he has to make sure his siblings are safe. But Kanade seems happier to be with Rui, along with Shizuku and Shiho with their band, so Tsukasa is quite relieved.

He still doesn’t get why Rui decides to get close to him though. They started to hang around a lot, like having lunch on the roof. It seems that they are close enough to call each other on a first-name basis; something that Tsukasa doesn’t mind at all.

"Why do you choose the stage?" Tsukasa asked. When Rui let out a questioning sound, he continued, "Just curious."

Rui sighed. "Well, I'm always interested in theater and performance. But I never really find the right troupe. But after seeing some street performances, I decided the street can be my stage. That's how I met Kanade. And then the Hinomori girls pulled us in, so now the live house is the stage." He smiled. "Even if I don't perform plays, the excitement is the same. So seeing people enjoying and feeling the same excitement from our performance is a great feeling."

"It feels wonderful, huh?"

"Have you ever performed, Tsukasa-kun?"

Tsukasa shrugged. It has been a long time since he made any show, but he understands Rui. The same as how the internet feels about his group's music through the comment section. But sometimes he misses that feeling seeing of Saki and Touya smiling in front of his eyes rather than behind the screen.

But is that really matter? He's just being selfish again.

They fell into silence again, but conversation ran through Tsukasa's head. The internet is his stage now, but he wants to see an actual stage.

So, when Tsukasa asked Kanade when was her next live, followed by Saki suggesting that they all should come, Tsukasa found himself in the middle of the crown in front of a neon stage. Rui and Kanade stood as the DJ, Shiho as the bassist, and Shizuku as the main singer.

His eyes met with Rui. A smile pulled on his lips and he mouthed the words.

"It's show time."

The world became loud. The energy became infectious. Saki was jumping along the crowd with Touya adorably following the best he could. But Tsukasa couldn't move. His eyes were fixed on the neon stage and the bright DJ, feeling like he wanted to cry. He misses this.

Ever since then, he came to almost Kanade's lives. Soon, he came to Touya's theater shows and Saki's first live performance.

If there's someone who can take Tenma Tsukasa out of this lonely house, it's Kamishiro Rui and his neon stage.

And Tsukasa couldn't thank him enough for it.

okay, more pjsk parent swaps - ichika and rui (yes this is just science vs music, what of it) - ii

This is a really interesting one to me because I made it so that means Ichika was Nene's neighbor instead of Rui, and. well.

Rui’s parents were very into music, but he took a sort of left turn more into science. Not to say he didn’t love music, but science was just a little more interesting to him.

His parents encouraged him to follow what he loved, though, so he did. It occasionally meant he was more on his own than making friends, but he was fine with that…for the most part.

Ichika was kind of friends with the girl who lived next door, since their parents were friends, too. Her parents didn’t force them, though she and her neighbor had a lot in common.

She wasn’t really sure what she wanted to do with her life, though. Unlike her neighbor, she didn’t have strong ties to a lot of hobbies, so she’d mostly just watch musicals with her.

Ichika was more uncertain about what she wanted than Rui, though their parents were very supportive of anything they wanted to do, within reason. They were both grateful for that support.

he went to all boy's private school

Akutami has an older brother who's married. Yuji is strongly inspired by his brother who is Akutami's opposite. He is someone who succeeds in everything he undertakes: sports, studies etc.

he was never really interested in drawing or manga until 4th grade when his older brother bought Weekly Shōnen Jump. The Jump that he read had Bleach on it and that's how Akutami's love for Bleach developed. When he was in the 5th grade and moved from Iwate Prefecture to Sendai in Miyagi Prefecture, he was surprised to see that the kids at his new school drew manga

he started drawing manga by imitating his friends' work

so his Bleach obsession started in elementary school and his Evangelion and Hunter x Hunter obsession started in middle school

people call him a genius with a great sense of humor, his editor Katayama says that he's a cheery and a cool person, much like Gojo

She either groans or giggles as you make a Minecraft reference while making a cake/cookies.

She probably suggested you make foods from different games/shows. For example, cookie cat from Steven Universe, butterscotch cinnamon pie from Undertale, the cake from Portal, etc etc.

One day you surprised her by making bacon pancakes from Adventure Time for breakfast and her face lit up.

Congratulations, you've officially become her favorite person.

Will ask you directly if you have any pastries with you. Who can blame her? It's delicious! And if she could she'll eat it all day everyday!

Nene merely smiles as she watches the group being happy at their rising to stardom. "So manager, what's on our schedule for today?" Rui asked curiously.

"Why don't we have a break? It's been a long day."

As the group have a small break, [Name] left to grab something before long he returns with....

"Cookies! You're the best [Name]!" Emu cheered, her eyes sparkles the moment her eyes locked on the small container in their manger's hands. "When did you have the time to do this?" Nene asked.

[Name] puts the container on the table, smiling softly as he watch the group enjoy the cookies he made. He had always enjoy baking and surprising them with fresh pastries had easily became a hobby of his. "I managed." He replied, taking a seat next to Nene.

"Hmm~ You should open a bakery! These are delicious!" Tsukasa compliments as he took another bite of the cookie. "Fufu~ as expected of our manager~" Rui chuckles, eating the pastry with a cheshire grin.

"Honestly, you don't have to.." Nene says, nibbling on the cookie. "But I wanted to~ plus seeing your guys faces every time I gave pastries are always a joy to see~"

Their manager's baking skills had never failed to surprise them. They look absolutely adorable and they're really delicious! The first time he does this, they thought it would just be a one time thing but as time passes. [Name] continues to give them copious amounts of pastries.

They're forever grateful for their manager, not only for the pastries, but for his whole support.

It won't be long until their little theater troupe would make it big and they have their manager to thank them. Who knows? Maybe [Name] might actually start a bakery with Wonderland X Showtime promoting it? Killing two birds with one stone, no?
