Me smacking myself with a newspaper: You can’t know for sure that the gay subtext in the Jeeves books was intentional and it would be bad practice to declare intentionality on behalf of a dead author who can’t confirm or deny it. The fact that Jeeves and the Tie That Binds was the first Jeeves book to be published after the UK legalized homosexuality is probably just a coincidence. I’m sure he wasn’t even thinking about that.

pregame gonta hcs weeeee!!!!!!!

Is the hashtag rich kid on the block, a lot of ppl assume he's the snobby type cuz his parents are like that but he's actually chill abt it... also known as he Hates it because he would very much rather put the money to other good things in life and not into running dumb shit.

Speaking of parents, his relationship with them is Strained to say the least. His mother tries and assures him she just wants whats best for him (even tho it's the complete Opposite of helpful and she ends up just brushing his problems under the rug) and his dad is a demanding ass. Due to traveling theyre not around a lot, and when they are the family rarely ever talks with each other.

Got into danganronpa mainly cuz most of everyone else was into it, and what better way to fit in than to watch the show everyone was also watching? Somewhat desensitized to the gore but would have to stop watching it sometimes because it would get too much (especially if guns and potentially animals were involved because it reminded him of when he was in the forest. Yeah that backstory probably wouldn't apply to pre dangan but shut up im not making a new one.)

Anyways, hates togamis guts and loves nekomaru. Also likes mikan and chihiro in a "damn theyre just like me fr....." way. Participates in fandom stuff like once in bluemoon cuz social interactions Scary but an enjoyer of sakuraoi, yay yuri. Number one usami defender too, Gonta acts like he has little opinion on her until someone shits on her and he proceeds to send like seven paragraphs explaining why theyre wrong. Baby's first discourse.

Speaking of social interactions Scary, despite his looks Gonta is..... Actually very awkward when you talk with him. He doesnt rly speak unless spoken to and he has like no idea how to make casual conversation cuz he fears anything he says will be made fun of. If he's comfortable enough, tho, prepare for him to bring up random, almost bizarre, topics out of nowhere, because hes Like That.

Joins danganronpa solely to run away from his home life and to possible show that he could mean something more than just being a prop in the background.

You worked for Alpha Tauri, but not for the racing team itself. You didn't travel around the world with the circus. Your job was in the factory, processing all the data and working on it. Just as there were sim drivers, you stayed and worked there.

The last race had been awesome from Pierre. From the back to the points on his 100th, he was happy. You worked a lot with him and talked during the weekends. You always did. You were quite good friends.

He was polite and funny, he was handsome and so nice to you. So yes. You were kinda hooked.

You heard him and Yuki arrived for a sim day and your pulse shoot up. You tried to not pay attention. To not sound affected.

But suddenly he passed behind you and his hand rested on the small of our back for a while. "Hi, YN"

With a thin voice, you managed to speak "Hi, Pierre. Congratulations."

"See you later, okay?"

That soft touch kept you on your toes during the whole day. Until when you were leaving, you didn't see him again.

"Hey! YN!"

He was running and trying to catch you.

"Hi" You said nervously.

"I got something for you. From Belgium"

You gasped and blushed.

"Here"

He gave you a little paper package. You opened it with shaky hands. It was a little rope bracelet in the AT colours. It was really cute.

"You didn't have to"

"I wanted to"

He took the bracelet and carefully tied it around your wrist.

"I miss you on the races."

I really like drawing cityscapes/buildings as well, and want to become better at it so that i can stop hating the first 1/3 of making them.

I have another ask and sorry for being annoying. During the episode of Bonnie's birthday kais fixing the ascendant and that Definitely made me feel a lot of things. What are your thoughts on that???

You're not being annoying at all!! I love talking about this show (& Kai specifically) and have been loving your asks and requests! (even though I'm taking forever to write them).

But omg I love that episode; I just rewatched it yesterday!! I definitely have sooo many different feelies about it. First, the way Kai totally disrupts the Delena kiss, and from there, we can only assume he bugged them until they gave him a cupcake 😂

And then there's so many feels to be felt in that ascendant-fixing scene... the way he's perched on that tiny stool; his HANDS are so distracting; that freaking SOUND when he's reminded of how "totally revolting" Delena are KILLS me; the way he antagonizes them - "think of it as Elena in reverse"; the little "hi" when Jeremy enters the room.

And let's not forget the scene after where he's (1) doing his fun little spell; (2) so focused on his spell that he's sweating like crazy (we even see a tiny tear, i think); (3) covered in blood & sweat and screaming at his sister. PLUS, the little baby face he makes after Damon gives him blood always sends my thoughts farrrr down into the gutterrrrr

I just love his little snarky-ass attitude + his secret need for attention and affection. I need to give him kisses, but I also need to teach him a lesson. Wanna treat him like a baby, but also want him to take his anger out on me. y'know??
