At my age, I know a lot of women that are either suffering from bad periods every month or menopausal symptoms. I’ve used OVA-M for a month and a half and I’m finally starting to feel myself and those premenopausal symptoms are under control. I had no idea how bad those symptoms would get. Women don’t talk about this enough. I found through this journey that it is important to share so we know what to expect. What Is Your Daily Self-Care Routine...Do You Even Have One?? I am hearing a lot of buzz around prioritizing “self-care” these days...but what does that *actually* look like? I see a lot of these posts accompanied by pictures of spa days and facials...but self-care is not all about pedicures, yoga mats and affirmations. It’s important to practice DAILY self-care. For some...self-care might mean making sure they take a shower or eat breakfast. For others...it might mean drinking more water or even making their bed in the morning. It might mean setting some stricter boundaries on time. Or getting some help with childcare responsibilities so that they can go window shopping. Self-care is going to look different for everyone. Don’t get caught up in the “nice idea” of it. Think about what you must have/do to be your best on a daily basis. Then make it a priority. HOW TO STOP BLOATING - I'm certainly not the greatest wizard to ever live but I do like to think I've learned, at least, a thing or two in my time as a coach. One of those things is how to reduce (or stop) bloating Worth noting, there R many possible reasons for y u may b getting bloated. & it's impossible for me to tell u wht exactly, is causing it. & for tht reason, if u find urself chronically bloated, u 100% should speak to ur doctor (& I encourage u to ask them abt IBS & to check for any food intolerances because those r common culprits). First thing I'd say is quit eating raw veggies& start cooking them. Along those lines, it's smart to reduce (or eliminate) cruciferous veggies because, if u're prone to bloating, they can wreak havoc on ur stomach. If u don't know wht "cruciferous vegetables" r, u can type those 2 words right into the Google machine & it will tell u, literally, everything u could ever want to know Sipping hot water and/or tea is another of my favorite charms tht works *really* well. I'm not 100% sure y but, if I had to guess, it makes it easier for the food to be broken down and digested without getting "stuck" and sitting there As for the rest, eating smaller/more frequent meals can help with digestion. Probiotics & digestive enzymes get solid reviews but don't work for everyone/everything. Sugar alcohols affect everyone differently but, for what it's worth, I've seen them cause a metric eff ton of bloating in *a lot* of people (myself included) so just be aware. 😂😭 These are funny but so true! Peri-menopause sucks!! Who’s there with me and can relate? I found a menopause formula-all natural- that I started two days ago and the past two nights I slept so good, I actually dreamed. Here are 3 things that your skin might experience during menopause and how you can adapt your skincare routine to manage them: ⚡ Dryness – a reduction in oestrogen levels effects the level of collagen in our skin and oil production too. As a result, our skin becomes thinner and can also become dry. ⚡ Breakouts - as oestrogen levels fall, so testosterone becomes unregulated and more influential on our skin. One of the side effects of too much testosterone is acne that appears similar to teenage varieties. ⚡ Sensitivity – delicate capillaries, hot flushes and thinner skin can make you more sensitive to external irritants and skin products. Some tips on how to manage them: ⭐ Use skin-sensitive products and mild cleansers rather than soap.
