More epithet side effect stuff

Percy — she gets stiff and numb limbs from overuse. Her hands tend to lock up, and it’s a struggle to move.

She tries to plan ahead of time for it though, and does stretches she learned from physical therapy. She’s good about it, but she sometimes forgets to do her stretches, or let herself take breaks.

Also, y’know the Tetris effect? Yeah she has that. She passively thinks about how she could bulid one of her structures in X place and if it could function, and if so, how well it could function.

Ramsey — ???? I have literally no clue skfkfkdk. I don’t think he has any side effects, like Indus. BUT, his arm is janked up a bit from being y’know. Cut off. There’s some nerve damage, and that hand now tends to shake and jitter. He also has back pain, look at that man. Shrimp posture 🦐🦐

Zora — her epithet passively raises her body temperature, so she’s always running a little warmer than most people. The more she uses her epithet, the warmer she gets. She’s grown a tolerance to it, so she can take the heat better than most. Usually this is manageable, and she doesn’t get beyond being uncomfortably hot. However, if she overuses her epithet, she can get heat exhaustion, and even heat stroke if she pushes it.

Whenever she’s sick her body goes into Maximum Overdrive and she ends up with a HIGHHHHH TEMPERATURE. She gets into VERY dangerous territory.

She isn’t ever really prepared for overheating, since she’s stupidly OP and so doesn’t have much of a risk of overuse. When it does happen though it gets BAD since she’s never really prepared for it and is prolly too stubborn to let herself rest and get someplace cold.

Self Indulgent Epithet Erased X Project Moon Crossover Stuff

Basic fic idea: Abnos show up in Sweet Jazz City due to [insert reason] and Percy, Ramsey, and Sylvie go around investigating. Hijinks ensue.

The only damage that can outright kill people here is Pale because otherwise Project Moon is FAR too deadly for the setting-

Highlights include:

Sylvie encountering Void Dream, and after a bit of a panicked scuffle involving a lot of screaming and dodging sleepy stars, he deduces that Abnormalities are sort of like Epithets made into physical form.

He corrodes to its E.G.O at some point and the other two need to snap him out of it

Percy finding The Road Home with her friends, which has now roped Rick into the group. She briefly comments on the architecture and how sturdy it is

Zora finds the Price of Silence and is interested in how it's screwing with her Epithet

The Silent Girl finds Lorelai, which I'm SURE is going to end swimmingly-

Mera Distorting/corroding to Ardor Blossom Star ("Do you see? My writhing struggle, hoping the world is cocooned in flames with me...") and Indus freaking out

Alternatively, Mera being visited by Plague Doctor but Indus managing to shoo the guy away

The Queen of Hatred laying waste to swathes of Banzai Blaster squads

Ramsey finds the King of Greed and narrowly avoids making her go all Fish Mode(tm) with his gold powers

Not for the fic specifically but the Reception of the Banzai Blasters (they are going to get a Degraded Shockwave to the face)

Time for me to talk about my favorite Lwa character!

Sucy Manbavaran

AGE: 16

HEIGHT: 5'4"

BORN: DEC 31ST

STAMINA: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

PROFICIENCY: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

CREATIVITY: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

ANIMAL: WORM

FAV FOOD: RAMEN NOODLES

LIKES... POTIONS, ANYTHING ELDRITCH, PRANKS, FLOWERS, MEDIEVAL ROMANCE MEDIA

ABILITY: BODY SEPARATION

Sucy can separate any part of her body and control them from a ranged distance. Because of her ability to do this, she can separate any part of her body to avoid attacks and practically become immune to cutting attacks due to the nature of this ability. This doesn’t have to be a joint. As long as it’s a part of her own body, it’s fair game.

Similar to Giovanni's critical hits, this has nothing to do with her epithet and is just something she can do.

EPITHET: DEBAUCH

Allows her to corrupt and decay anything to her control via a bolt of condensed corrupt & poison energy. Anything corrupted gets restored to full quality, but slowly decays and rots the target until it’s either completely destroyed (an object) or the target passes out (human target)

When regarding that energy being used on humans, factors mixed on Willpower and stamina determine how much the target resists corruption. The more will and stamina they have, the more they’ll resist the corruption.

For example, this would probably work well on someone like Percy (ignoring her will as a factor), but would basically be useless against someone like Zora

Animals and summons are naturally less resistant to this, and epithet constructs being treated like a normal object.

Half-Life

A simple move where she decays whatever she touches. The rate at which it decays depends on the user’s health, and the size and density of the object. Sucy can turn this poison into gas form and release it for an AOE attack, but the rate of decay is slower

Magical Frankenstein

By Sucy shooting enough corruption magic at an epithet summon or construct, it’ll bend to Sucy’s will, allowing her to use the summon as if it was her own. The summon/construct will still slowly decay and worsen in quality, so Sucy can’t keep it for an indefinite amount of time

Unwarranted Allie

Sucy can use the corruption magic against a person to bend them to her will temporarily. Upon this happening, the target will fully restore stamina, but due to the magic increasing their metabolism, it slowly damages the target. This automatically wears off when the target is out of stamina (aka, they pass out)

A simple drop of purple

The user can shoot out a poison projectile that does no direct damage, but poisons and weakens the target. A simple, but useful move

William, Sherlock and James, would let each of them lie to my face and would still love them just as much if not more, plus James is just the coolest person in the show

Liara, I loved her since I first saw her, she's always my romance pick

Portal:

GLaDOS, again do I need to explain? That sass? That passive aggressiveness? She's just so much fun to write.

Miraculous Ladybug:

Adrien, Kagami and Juleka, one is a cinnamon roll who I can write so much angst for, the other could probably kill you if she wanted but I like her having a soft spot for her friends, and Juleka is just... deadpan funny, and can obliterate people in ONE PUNCH, I like that contrast

Star Wars:

Rex, Maul, The Bad Batch, Anakin, Din Djarin, Finn and Poe, again I feel like there's something for everyone here

The Arcana:

Muriel and Lucio, one is a hot himbo, I love a hot himbo, and the other one is an absolute bastard, polar opposites yet somehow my faves to write

Diabolik Lovers:

Ayato, I love him the most of all the brothers so I just write him the most

Twisted Wonderland:

Pretty new to this one but so far Malleus and Leona

Vanitas no Carte:

Vanitas himself most of the time because he's a little shit, but I also like Noe a lot too

RWBY:

Teams RWBY, JNPR and Summer and Raven, I was drawn to the main four right away, Ruby and Weiss shipwise, and then I feel into the rabbit hole

Tales of Arcadia:

Jim and Douxie, cinnamon roll with the heart of gold, and the immortal punk wizard with the heart of gold, what's not to love

The Witcher:

Geralt, specifically the Netflix version, again, himbo energy and looks like he could both crush me and give me the best, softest hugs

WORST non-problematic EE ship? (Like there's not an age gap but Why Would People Like This)

RAMSEY & ZORA. OR PERCY & ZORA. OR RAMSEY & PERCY. I HATE MOST REDWOOD SHIPPING I'M NOT GONNA LIE.

The worst is DEFINITELY Ramsey and Zora, but I dislike the Percy ships for a specific reason.

Like, as a whole I just dislike a lot of Percy ships (for obvious reasons) and frankly a lot of content relating to Percy ships involves her being shoved into a romance dynamic where she's written to be completely out of character because that's just what Happens when you put Percy into a romance dynamic, I think qpr scenarios could be written well but frankly they are rarely acknowledged, nevermind written well.

A lot of zora & percy content hinges on Zora being borderline predatory towards the 'naive' and 'innocent' percy, which is frankly extremely uncomfortable considering Zora is canon bi. I don't like ramsey & percy because frankly they just seem like friends, or people who work really well together in a platonic dynamic. putting them into a romantic relationship just. doesn't really work, and while it's objectively the least awful, it's the most popular Percy ship and frankly it's usually written the worst because of that. Why do I hate Ramsey and Zora the most, then? Because at the very least, Zora & Percy are on equal footing. Percy is canonically fearful of Zora, but she is willing to trade blows, and she does still actively stand up to and challenge Zora in a fair way. They can still have a well written dynamic (especially if it's NOT romantic) because the two are on some kind of similar level, so they can have more equal interactions. Zora and Ramsey? Yeah. No. Most of the 'comedy' from Zora x Ramsey content comes from Ramsey being actively terrified of Zora. Y'know why? Because when you make Ramsey NOT scared of Zora, or in LOVE with her, that slides very quickly into being straight up out of character, and really weirdly uncomfortable. Often Zora is moreso just a prop in the ship for the author to be like 'wow she's scary and hot', and they don't ever really consider that she probably wouldn't be interested in Ramsey, or Percy. Considering that isn't really part of the equation. They could definitely have an interesting NON-ROMANTIC relationship, but all of the interactions we've had in canon currently have been Ramsey being actively terrified of Zora.

So yea, not a fan!
