For anyone else who is gonna struggle surviving the next 3 weeks with the angsty and tense situation of Callowmoore here's a few things from the last 2 episodes that I feel were underrated and will assist in trying to keep me sane/emotionally stable:
- Matching messed up hands built for holding
- Fearne nervously playing with her hair as she approaches Ashton
- Ashton wanted Fearne to be either the last thing they saw if they died or the first thing they saw when they succeeded
- Fearne's admittance corroborates Ashley's 4SD revelation that Fearne is in love with someone in the party but doesn't know how to process the emotions
- Fearne wanted Ashton to be happy, while Ashton wanted to feel whole so they would be worthy of the Hells
- Ashton twice tried to lead a search for Fearne, and instantly clocking onto Chetney saying he followed Fearne
- Fearne making herself look as radiant as possible before giving Ashton the cold shoulder
- Ashton only rose to Chetney's provocations until he said 'You hurt Fearne'
Use how you will

hi lads!
just wanted to share a little beasts update for you all. chapter 13 will be coming this coming week! but unfortunately won't be with you this weekend. phd hand-in straight into new job has unfortunately not been giving writing retreat (i’ve been absolutely shattered tbh, in bed by 9pm every night, very chic from me). but! i've been getting back into the groove of writing this long weekend and am v excited to share the next chapter with you all when it's ready (and honestly hyped to get back to telling this story in general, a source of great great joy). thank you very much for the very very kind messages - i am grateful for every single one. lots and lots of love!

A quick thank you!! ❤️❤️
Just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone for showing so much support on the recent Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy chapter! After waiting over a year for an update, I was very apprehensive about posting it, but the response has been incredible.
I'm genuinely so surprised but grateful to see so many familiar names in the comments - I know i've said it a million times by now, but your patience does mean the world to me!
I've never been the best with keeping to a schedule, procrastination can really kick my ass sometimes. Regardless, writing is my passion and I hope to finish this fic soon and carry on with my next projects. Hopefully I will see you all then <333

Adapting itself to obstacles and bending around them, wood in the earth grows upward without haste and without rest. Thus too the superior man is devoted in character and never pauses in his progress.

I decided to enrich my ttrpg enclosure by upgrading some organizational stuff.
I have owned these wooden boxes for years. They are great for tidying away minis or handout props, but within two weeks I stop seeing the boxes. That means I forget about their contents.
Maybe I can make the boxes stand out from the bookshelf a bit? Adorn with metaphors for the plot devices they should contain?
My first step on the little crate is to sand it down, at least around the edges. It's going back inside for tonight, because I cannot deal with the noise and smell of sawdust. Anyway, I want to install hinges on the lid so I can get rid of the nails.
Everything else needs at least a couple coats of this sparkly metallic blue stain. Except the coffee and lid -- those are for keeping me going.
I'm painting exclusively inside the cardboard box. Also they will stay in the box while they dry. I know that I will have spray, drips, and spills; I want to clean up easily, without damaging my home or the front garden.
.
Later:
I thought a single coat to most surfaces would take me about fifteen minutes. I stopped here for the evening because I had been standing for over an hour.
The little cube takes the stain well! I continue to roll low on my minimal Mechanical Skills stat. Cube looks surprisingly even. I can see my haphazard brush stroke technique on the rectangular box. That one may require three coats to get a pleasing result.
I used the old smartphone box to wipe excess paint off of the paintbrush because I have no idea if it could look nice. What the hey, I don't have that phone anyhow.
