Tumblr media
Hey y'all! I'm writing an MDZS x Miraculous fusion fic where a lot of our main cast are going to be superheroes. The main problem is that I'm having trouble thinking of titles for the superheroes (i.e. Hawkmoth, Ladybug, Cat Noir, Mayura etc.)
So far I have
Hei Mao/Cat Noir - WWX (Cat Miraculous)
Piao Chong/Ladybug - LWJ (Ladybug Miraculous)
Jade Tiger - NMJ (Tiger Miraculous)
Purple Thunder - JC (Dragon Miraculous)
And that's it, here's a list of characters with miraculous I assigned. Some of these characters won't be like main superheroes or villains but it'd be nice to have their names anyway hehe.
Nie Huaisang (Fox Miraculous)
Jiang Yanli (Turtle Miraculous)
Lan Jingyi (Ox Miraculous)
Wen Ning (Tiger Miraculous)
Lan Sizhui (Rabbit Miraculous)
Wen Qing (Snake Miraculous)
Ouyang Zizhen (Horse Miraculous)
Luo Qingyang (Goat Miraculous)
Song Lang (Monkey Miraculous)
Xiao Xingchen (Dog Miraculous)
Mo Xuanyu (Mouse Miraculous)
Jin Ling (Rooster Miraculous)

A'Yuan x fem! Reader
Him and the reader are very close friends and are both top students in the lan clan. However to protect Yuan during an ambush of puppets during a night hunt she ends up getting badly hurt and falls into a coma for a long time while recovering and him taking care of her.
Feel free to make it angsty.
*sniffs* Okay... My tears for this.. I love A-Yuan and how this request will make him care for the reader :’) here’s to your request! இ௰இ
☆*: .。..。.:*☆
Tumblr media
You and Sizhui were the perfect duo, he was defense and you were offense in any night hunt. You both thought that today’s night hunt will be easy but you were wrong.. There were puppets! “Don’t inhale the poisonous mist Y/N!” Sizhui says while covering his face in just the right time while you inhaled some since you were the closets among the 4 ( Junior quartet UwU ).. “Y/N!!” You were late to cover your face but you turned back and saw a puppet aiming at Sizhui you run as fast as you could and used your self as a shield to protect your friend. “Y-Y/N..” You were bleeding from your shoulder, it was quite deep and a massive amount of blood loss. “What do we do..” Jin Ling says still horrified “We have to treat her! But.. There is no physician around in this area and she will most likely die of blood loss and the mist..” Says Zizhen. Sizhui hugs you closer to him and brings you to a safer place while he rips his sleeve and used it to clean and wound while Jingyi and Jin Ling bring him some water. “What can we expect from the top student! He can do first aid though.” Says Jingyi, Sizhui just laughs a little while he was done treating the wound. “Jingyi I will cook some food when we get back. Tell senior Wei and Hanguang-Jun.” Jingyi replies with a “Mn.” And all hurry up to go to Gusu while Sizhui is carrying you on his arms.
☆*: .。..。.:*☆ in Cloud Recesses  ☆*: .。..。.:*☆
“Hanguang-Jun! Wei-Qianbei!” The 4 scream even if it is prohibited. “Y-Y/N.. She..” As the ONLY girl in the juniors YOU were supposed to be protected but then you were always the one who literally saves their soft behinds from getting whipped or slashed. But this time it was uncalled for.. “Take her inside. We will ask a doctor to treat her wound.” they all waited outside until the doctor went out and told them what they must do “I had already fed her the antidote for the poison, all she needs to do is rest for some days since this type of poison drains spiritual energy and weakens the body.. Assign anybody close to her and whom she trusts to take care of her for a couple of days until she feels better. By then her fever will be gone and by then NO night hunts till you boys are ready to protect a girl from ever having this kind of a serious injury!” the doctor points her finger at the 4 “Yes ma’am.. And thank you.” They reply politely as the doctor packs her stuff and changes your robes. “I changed her robes by now she should be sleeping. A lot of blood was lost so was the spiritual energy.. No need to transfer though, the medicine will make her better.” then she left. Sizhui couldn’t sleep the whole night thinking on what he could’ve done to protect you from being hurt.. He felt guilty.. After a week you still couldn’t move your arm.. You were in his care and often cried tears when he changed your bandages “I-I’m so sorry!!” Sizhui panics since the doctors have a day-off “I-It hurts..” Your voice sounds so.. dry.. “Here drink some tea..” The tea was warm and it soothe you a little but the pain is still there.. He rubs your back and you hug him with your other arm. You hiss slightly when he applied medicine on your wound “It will get better.. Don’t worry Y/N..” Jingyi, Zizhen, and Jin Ling has never seen you shed a tear! Or worse.. Cry.. It was worse when you had to sit up and lie down, so of course every time that happens you cry and no wonder why your eyes are so red and puffy. “We’re sorry Y/N!!” The 3 kneeled in front of you while bowing their heads. “H-hey.. It’s okay.. No need to kneel..” You say while wiping your tears. the cut was quite deep and it has only been a week since the juniors can hear your cries when Sizhui changes your bandages. Wei Wuxian already scolded them and they were punished ( except for Sizhui ) to copy all the 4,019 rules 20 times ( 80,380 rules to copy for each... ) You thought the punishment was too harsh bet nevertheless Lan Qiren instructed you to get better. After a month the pain was unbearable.. the doctor said you are getting better but your hand could barely move.. ( yes time skip ) After 3 months you finally got better but they didn’t know yet of course, they were still copying rules and Sizhui was making medicine for your wound. “Sizhui!!” He looked at you with eyes widening “Y/N! Stay in bed! Your wound-” He was interrupted by the strong hug you gave him ( I assume reader IS a Lan sorry if I am wrong ). He hugs you back and checks your wound “Does it hurt?” There was not much of a scar since the medicine was working well but it took a long time.. But atleast you were better! By now the 3 only copied half of the rules but you persuaded Lan Qiren to lift the punishment and he did “Fine.. But they will protect you since it was their fault too.” They thank you for saving their hands. Wei Wuxian ran over to you and hugged you that you almost fell “Y/N!!!!!! How are you feeling?! Is your wound better?! How is my favorite girl child?!” You laugh “Wait.. pfft.. Girl child? And I feel better.” You reply holding your laugh “GOOD! Looks like my Favorite child took care of you well!” You nod even if you cried many times ( He only saw the shoulder not half the body incase your wondering ) “But you cried many times! Even your eyes are red! Are you SURE?! Or did something happen?~” Wei Wuxian says to you while gripping to his husband “You!-” You were about to hit him but Sizhui hugged you from behind “Y/N..” You blush and say sorry to Wei Wuxian for almost hitting him “Ah, so something DID
happen?” “NO!! Well.. Not like that..” You both are a blushing mess because something did happen ( He confessed but I was lazy to write it i’m sorry! So yall basically BF and GF ) “We are dating now Wei-Qianbei.” Sizhui announces ( oml i’m off topic no? ) and the 4.. Wait.. No.. Sorry 5! Celebrate “You know we can plan a wedding-” You cut him off and “I’m too young!!” Your face was red as a tomato by now and they all laugh and you were still in his comforting arms.. He is definitely gonna think about this often now.
☆*: .。..。.:*☆ End since the pain of classes made me rush  ☆*: .。..。.:*☆

An Uncle’s Wisdom
Summary:
Sometimes, just sometimes, it pays to listen to your elders.
or Lan Qiren would like more grandchildren, please and thank you, and Wei Wuxian's ridiculously low levels of self-worth will not be stopping him from creating the family they all deserve.
(Can be found on AO3 too)
Tumblr media
Wei Wuxian was decidedly not in the mood when Lan Qiren decided to visit.
He wasn’t even sure he’d be able to tolerate anyone other than Lan Zhan around him at that moment.
…and if he was being completely honest with himself, he might not be able to tolerate even Lan Zhan’s presence.
Yet, regardless of what was going on, when Lan Qiren came round for tea, you sat your arse down and had tea. It was awkward and stilted, yet Wei Wuxian managed to dredge up enough politeness to get through it, and not actively throw the man out.
At least, he thought he’d managed to present a sufficiently acceptable front until Lan Qiren set his teacup down, nudged the coaster to sit parallel to the edge of the coffee table, folded his hands primly in his lap and said, “Now then Wei Wuxian, will you continue with this farce, or would you like to try the truth?”
The flinch was inevitable, Wei Wuxian couldn’t help it, the words stinging more than usual.
He felt fragile, sitting there under Lan Qiren’s gaze, fingers fiddling with his teacup.
Lan Qiren sighed after the silence had stretched on a little too long. “Know that I do not enjoy it when you force my hand, Wei Wuxian.”
Wei Wuxian merely blinked, uncomprehending and still struggling to find the words that usually came so effortlessly, as Lan Qiren pushed himself to his feet and made his way to the bathroom.
Realisation was a horrible thing, sending ice dripping down his spine when Lan Qiren re-emerged carrying the small bin they usually kept next to the sink. Wei Wuxian knew what was in that bin, and he desperately wanted to forget.
But Lan Qiren seemed insistent on reminding him, pointedly setting the bin down in front of Wei Wuxian, before gracefully sitting beside him.
“Talk to me.”
“Why?” Wei Wuxian’s voice came out quiet and hoarse, his vision blurring as tears gathered on his lashes.
“Because you are struggling, and sometimes talking to someone outside of the situation can help bring things into perspective.”
“Perspective? What other perspective is there?” Wei Wuxian laughed, a wet and pitiful thing. “You can see for yourself, I’m a failure. My existence has a single purpose, and I can’t even do that.”
“Single purpose?” Lan Qiren snapped, clearly indignant at such a term. “Do you deem me a failure then? For spurning this so called ‘single purpose’? For refusing to find a mate and raising a child I have born from my own body?”
“No!” Wei Wuxian cried, grasping at Lan Qiren’s sleeve, eyes wide and horrified. “Uncle I would never suggest that!”
A warm dry hand pat comfortingly at Wei Wuxian’s clenched fists. “Then why do you insist on accusing yourself of such things, hm?
“Because I…I…” he couldn’t help turning his eyes to the bin, to the white sticks littered at its bottom, the bolded ‘Negative’ clear as day on every single one of them.
He startled when Lan Qiren’s slipper came into view, kicking the bin carefully away. “They are not the sum of your worth. Your ability or inability to procreate is not the sum of your worth.”
“But…”
“Have you had your fertility tested?”
“…no?”
“Then if you must lay blame for this, how do you know the fault lies with yourself? Perhaps the fault is Wangji’s.”
Wei Wuxian’s response to such an accusation was an instantaneous and vehement, “No!”
“But you do not know,” Lan Qiren pointed out, even as Wei Wuxian shook his head, refusing to even entertain such an idea.
“Lan Zhan is perfect, this is my fault, not his.”
“My boy,” Lan Qiren sighed the sigh of the long suffering and resigned. “As much as I love my nephew, I will be the first to admit he is not perfect.”
“You…!”
Lan Qiren held up a hand, halting the words likely to spring forth in defence of Lan Wangji, “Let me finish. I do not say this to slander him. I say this because I am fully aware that humans, by their very nature, are not perfect. We are not infallible creatures. As I said, if you must find fault then my nephew is just as likely to blame as yourself.”
Shoulders slumping, a tear finally escaped to roll down his cheek. “But I just want to have a family with Lan Zhan.”
“And what makes you think carrying the child yourself is the only option for that? There are other paths you can explore. Adoption is always an admirable path to take, and, it would seem, is becoming something of a family tradition.”
“You would not think less of me?” Wei Wuxian asked, voice small.
Lan Qiren softened as much as his stiff posture would allow, reaching out to cup Wei Wuxian’s cheek, “a-Xian, how could I think less of you for doing the very same thing that I have done when I took in my nephews? How could I think less of you when Xichen has done the same with his mates and given me a-Yi to dote upon?”
“But don’t the Lan need a blood heir?”
“Blood does not matter. We are not the Jin, nor are we the Jiang. A good heart, a just soul. These things matter. Family matters. By blood or by bond, family is the most important.”
A smile curved Wei Wuxian’s lips. Watery though it may be, it was still true.
“Thank you, Uncle.”
“Uncle? Wei Ying?”
The pair turned to see a lightly frowning Lan Wangji standing in the doorway.
“Ah Wangji, you’re home, good.” Dropping his hand to give a reassuring squeeze to Wei Wuxian’s shoulder, he rose to his feet and straightened his clothes. “I shall return in a week’s time. I trust you shall both be here?”
“Of course, Uncle, but…”
“Just tend to your husband, Wangji, and I shall deal with the rest.”
-x-
They were honestly not quite sure what had happened, but a week later, as promised, Lan Qiren swept into their home ladened with forms and files and annotated paperwork.
The three sat at the dining room table, Lan Qiren on one side, Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian on the other. A relatively thick folder was pushed towards them.
“Following our discussion I took it upon myself to make some enquires. This is Wen Yuan. He is three years old and an orphan. His parents were tragically killed in a car accident, following which he was placed in some less than satisfactory foster homes before his remaining family could be found and contacted. Unfortunately, due to varying circumstances, his family have been unable to offer the care he needs.”
Wei Wuxian reached out a trembling hand to open the file, his breath hitching at the photograph of an adorable little boy. “Lan Zhan?”
“Mn.” A strong arm curled around Wei Wuxian’s shoulders, holding him safe and secure.
“The child’s birth family would like to maintain contact and are accepting of the fact his name will change with the adoption. What matters to them is that the child is loved and well cared for.”
“How…why him?” Wei Wuxian asked, fingers still tracing the curve of a cheek, plump with baby fat.
“As I have already told you, to the Lans, family matters. I believe, even at such a young age, this boy embodies those beliefs of the Lan. I believe he would thrive under your care, and I also believe that you would thrive within a large family.”
-x-
Three Years Later
Wei Wuxian could happily say that the party was going to be a rousing success. With a glass of Uncle Four’s latest batch in one hand, and a plate piled high with various foods made by his sister, his Lan Zhan, and the budding culinary skills of Wen Ning, Wei Wuxian couldn’t stop smiling even if he tried.
Taking a seat next to a gently smiling Lan Wangji, he turned his attention to the people gathered in their garden.
Nie Mingjue stood, shoulders slumped and chastised, as Wen Qing listed all the things he needed to do to care for his health. Clearly the instigators of the dressing down Nie Mingjue was receiving, Meng Yao and Nie Huaisang sat to one side, smug little smiles on their faces.
Lan Xichen and Wen Ning were sat beside a heavily pregnant Jiang Yanli, talking about this and that in gentle tones, while Jin Zixuan fluttered about tending to Jiang Yanli’s every need.
Granny Wen and Lan Qiren had taken over the comfortable garden chairs under the shade of an umbrella, swiping at their phones in that awkward way some technologically challenged older people had. But they were content, radiating pride as they told stories and showed off various photos of their grandchildren and family, and shared the odd image that the other didn’t already have.
Jiang Cheng was splayed out on the grass, Lan Yuan, Lan Jingyi, and the neighbour’s kid Ouyang Zizhen sat on his back cheering about defeating the great evil water ghoul. All the while little three-year-old Jin Ling sat giggling and happily whacking his uncle’s head with a foam sword.
This, this is what he’d wanted all those years ago, when he’d had a bin full of negative pregnancy tests and was so very close to just throwing Lan Qiren out of the house.
This was the family he’d always craved
What he’d always wanted.
Snuggled against Lan Wangji’s side, the scent of sandalwood under his nose, and the sounds of family filling his ears, Wei Wuxian could admit that sometimes, just sometimes, it paid to listen to your elders.

agents of shield x mdzs au
This is the qUaLitY content y’all get from this blog. Also see me spamming friend about this AU. It’s junior-centered, with a dash of wangxian. This is basically a more in-depth version of what I gave my friend lol
After getting kicked out of SHIELD for questionable experiments involving Kree blood, Wei Wuxian was spying on Hydra (lead by Wen Ruohan) by infiltrating them as a scientist. However, being Wei Wuxian, he neglected to tell anyone since he got kicked out, so everyone thought he betrayed them.
So he’s at Hydra, befriending Wen Qing & Ning, and realizes that they’re good people.
But he got caught giving info to Director LXC, so Wei Wuxian makes his grand escape. He may have accidentally knocked over a terrigenesis crystal while trying to escape the Nightless City.
The terrigenesis crystal may have turned a little boy into an Inhuman (the first time anyone went through terrigenesis) and that little boy (Wen Yuan) may have accidentally burnt down the entire Nightless City.
At least, that’s how WWX explains it to Lan Wangji when he gives LWJ a child to take care of.
So, with Wen Yuan in SHIELD custody, Lan Wangji adopts him & renames him Lan Sizhui. He’s still a child (I don’t know why I keep referring to him as a little boy?? He’s like 12-ish??).
So Wei Wuxian goes off to re-join the remnants of HYDRA because they let him experiment in peace & he gets to keep an eye on them for SHIELD (even though he’s an ex-agent).
But before that, he vouches for WQ & WN to join SHIELD. And though many people there are suspicious, they do have a vacant spot for a doctor now that Dr. Wei is gone & WQ is quite good. They bring WN along too.
Meanwhile: Lan Jingyi is getting abused my his mother & his dad is working across the country so life is quite sucky for him.
Thankfully, his family has connections to one Lan Xichen (who learns about the abuse eventually) and Jingyi gets into SHIELD Academy. What he doesn’t know is that he comes from a line of people with Inhumans genes.
Which may or may not how been why Xichen was visiting.
Anyways, Sizhui & Jingyi meet at SHIELD Academy (both around 13-14?) and Lan Qiren is about to get more headaches.
Eventually, he (now 16) gets told why he was accepted on the first place & asked if he’d like to go through terrigenesis. He’s like “ok” and boom vocal mind control.
That’s actually inaccurate; he has the power to manipulate people with his voice. He has to learn how to control it though.
Wei Wuxian rejoins SHIELD! Lan Sizhui meets the person who saved him all those years ago. yay.
Little did they know, Wei Wuxian was expieriemnting with terrigenesis while he was gone but shhhhhhh-
Now onto Jin Ling’s backstory, cause his is a doozy.
Jiang Yanli got Inhuman genes from her mother. So did jc, but his powers & stuff come into play later. Wwx is their adopted bro, but due to circumstances that will be explained later, Wwx & jc are estranged.
Jyl and jzx raise jl for most of his younger childhood (until he’s about 7-8) when evil HYDRA people come in & kill jzx and kidnap jyl for Inhuman experimentation. Note, she has the genes but isn’t an Inhuman (yet).
Ling is very sad and Jiang Cheng swoops in to take him in. Jc actually worked at as a SHEILD agent back from before lxc was Director (coughxichengcough) but left when his sister was kidnapped so he could try to track her down & save her. Instead he gets his nephew.
Jc also takes over his parents’ buisness to get a source of income.
And jc goes through the woes of being a parent up until he also gets kidnapped by HYDRA. Jl also gets nabbed, but HYDRA separates them
Wwx may have been expierimenting but he tries to do it without hurting any of them, and he validates it because he prevented many people from getting cut open by explaining to the HYDRA heads that they’re most useful alive. It somehow works.
In fact, wwx is assigned to jl. The HYDRA people know wwx’s relation to jc & jyl, so they don’t tell wwx that they kidnapped jc & jyl or that they’re literally in the same facility.
Since wwx was assigned to jl, he basically helps him undergo terrigenesis and tries to determine his power.
Wwx also doesn’t know that jl is kinda his nephew. But he pities him, so he maybe helps jl escape, but in a way so that no one realizes it because he still has his cover to maintain.
(also, I forgot to mention: jyl’s kidnapping caused jc & wwx to become estranged).
So wwx may have had a very loud conversation near jl’s cell about some of the exits and also teaches jl the basics on his Inhuman ability. maybe the device he uses to control jl’s powers happened to malfunction in the middle of the night.
Ling, not knowing that wwx is helping him, uses his power (energy manipulation) to break out and makes a run for it.
He manages to escape (wwx had a very detailed convo about the building’s layout) and gets the hell out of there.
Jl’s smart enough to realize that since HYDRA knows where he lives, that he probably shouldn’t go back home.
He really wants to get his uncle back (and maybe his mom, but he’s not sure she’s still alive) but has like no idea how to use his power to do anything except bomb stuff. & that only works like half the time.
Jin Ling is about to kill a bitch but then he remembers that his uncle gave him an address to go to if anything ever happened (remember, jc is an ex-SHIELD agent so bad things happen quite a lot).
Meanwhile, despite his carefulness, wwx got caught and HYDRA is deciding whether or not he will die. Wwx, being the genius he is, takes all his stuff and gets the fuck outta there.
He decides to go visit his kinda-boyfriend (that he may or may not have been ignoring for like 13 years), lwj back at SHIELD. He also wants to see how the Wen siblings are doing.
So WWX goes back to SHIELD, only about an hour before Ling arrives. In jl’s defense, he had no idea that the entrance to a secret government organization was a quaint little music shop.
He just kinda... walks in, and everyone is freaking bc they have been breached but sees him and thinks “huh he kinda looks like jc” and then lxc thinks “oh no what happened this time”
Lxc introduces himself and jl (being the second best matchmaker here, second to only lxc) accidentally reveals that jc talked about him before.
Lxc is pleasantly surprised (gay) and asks jl to come with him into his office so that they can... chat.
On their way, they pass by the science lab. Wei Wuxian, who just came back to base, is happily walking along with Lan Sizhui, when all hell breaks loose.
Remember when I said that wwx was quite secretive about helping? And that jl is still upset bc he never got his uncle back and he can’t lose another family member, not to them?
So obviously jl does what anyone would if you saw the guy who forced you to undergo a life-changing event and was involved in the organization that kidnapped two of his family members and killed his dad: he attaccs.
If you also remember, I mentioned that jl has no fucking clue what he’s doing. All he knows is energy and boom boom.
And the mini-explosions only work in close range, from what he’s seen. So in his anger, he unlocks a new skill: energy shots.
Wei Wuxian took cover like the second he realized who was attempting to kill him and screaming at the others not to kill his assailant no matter how annoying he was.
Lan Wangji sadly wasn’t at base, but Sizhui was, and he can certainly hold his own against Ling, especially since Sizhui has had more time to train with his power.
Luckily, Jingyi swoops in & uses his voice to force jl to stop. They handcuff him and lxc drags him away into his office.
It’s safe to say that the science lab corridor is fried.
That’s basically how jl got introduced to SHIELD (he eventually joins and learns the truth about wwx, which makes all their past interactions quite awkward).
Now we have Zizhen, who comes into the story after the two Lans have become agents but before the whole Jin Ling fiasco occurs.
Sizhui & Jingyi were sent to see if Agent Ouyang Xingyun (@yoitsamy’s oc older sis of oyzz)‘a family knew where she was because she was on a undercover mission & didn’t check in with her contact last week. + she didn’t contact SHIELD so Director LXC was worried.
They look through the window and everything is a mess, so they kick down the door and try to find anyone. The whole place is torn apart, like people were fighting there.
In the upstairs bedroom, they find Ouyang Zizhen & four of his younger siblings huddled together in a corner, protected by a forcefield-like shield. Once they realize the Lans aren’t a threat, the go back to SHIELD HQ and put in a room there until they can figure out wtf was going on.
Apparently, Zizhen unlocked his powers w/o terrigenesis when they got attacked by someone who was looking for his sister and used it to protect his siblings. They hadn’t seen their big sister in weeks.
So the Lans have a new case to solve, SHIELD has two new Inhumans with off circumstances, and Lan Wangji is one Xichen away from killing Jin Ling.

Gilded Fate - Chapter 4
Reincarnation AU [Chapter 4/?] Characters: Xue Yang, Xiao Xingchen, Song Lan, Lan Sizhui, Lan Jingyi, Jin Ling, Original Characters. Pairings: Xue Yang/Xiao Xingchen, Song Lan/Xiao Xingchen, Lan Sizhui/Lan Jingyi
In all the world, there were very few cultivators that had achieved immortality. There was BaoShan SanRen, of course, who’d long since disappeared from the world after vowing to never take another disciple. Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian, too, found their home together away from other cultivators. Wen Ning and Song Lan were technically immortal as Fierce Corpses, but most people believed them to be nothing more than myth and legend.
The other immortals, the only ones who hadn’t secluded themselves away, were Lan Sizhui, Lan Jingyi, Jin Ling, and Ouyang Zizhen. As good friends since childhood, the four cultivators had come together to build a joint sect on the south face of a mountain between LanLing and Gusu. The small village at the base of the mountain was one the larger sects paid no attention to, so when the renowned four immortal cultivators established their school there, the villagers flocked to their doors in hopes of being taken on as disciples.
At almost five hundred years old, the boys had long forgotten thoughts of encountering souls from their lives before immortality. All their attention was funnelled into their school, working hard to combine the principles from each of their clans into a single cohesive curriculum. Despite the first generation of disciples being an embarrassing train wreck of trial and error, they managed to produce a handful of decent and respectable cultivators.
The second generation was well into their studies when a long forgotten ghost appeared at their doorstep. Wen Ning had travelled to their mountain, bringing along with him a girl no older than 8 or 9 years old. After a heartfelt reunion between Lan Sizhui and his estranged relative, Ning had explained that he suspected the little girl to be the reincarnation of his older sister, Wen Qing. He begged them to take her in and teach her cultivation, hoping to give her a better life than the one she’d led in Wen Ruohan’s debt.
They agreed and Wen Ning left, saying if he stayed he’d be too much of an influence, either by his own feelings or his existence as a fierce corpse. So Wen Qing became Li JiaYi and was indoctrinated into BaLanSu Shi. Sizhui watched over her studies personally, feeling his own memories of Qinq resurface as she grew into the spitting image of her past self. By the time she was fourteen, her skills were well known in the cultivation world. With JiaYi representing the BaLanSu sect, they grew to be a gentry clan alongside Jin, Lan, Nie, and Jiang.
The world seemed bright and the future seemed promising until JiaYi became plagued with insomnia. The other disciples could find her up at odd hours of the night, practicing with her sword in the courtyard or poring over books in the library. After she fell asleep on her feet during a night-hunt and nearly lost her head to a measuring snake, Sizhui began playing Clarity for her twice a week before bed. For a while, it seemed to help.
When her soul finally awakened, the four immortals were unprepared. Soul awakening was rare and usually only heard of in small, insignificant instances. A farmer remembering a life where he fought in a war and so his sword skills improved slightly. A handmaid remembering a life in a kitchen and suddenly preparing complex dishes with ease. Nothing to the degree of what happened with Li JiaYi.
On the day Ouyang Zizhen was meant to marry, JiaYi stormed into the banquet hall and went on a sleep-deprived tangent about the crimes the gentry clans had committed against the Wen clan. When Zizhen tried to calm her down, she snapped and killed half the wedding guests, including Zizhen’s bride, before disappearing. If the slaughter of prominent clan members, some of which were clan heirs, wasn’t enough to bring the BaLanSu clan to an end, Wen Qing continued her siege of revenge in the city below.
The entire population of Da Su was decimated indiscriminately and reanimated as an army of walking corpses. The destruction was enough to bring Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian out of seclusion to intervene. With their help, the walking corpses were destroyed, but in the end it was Wen Ning who subdued Qing long enough for Sizhui to finish her off. In the aftermath, the JinLan Yang sect was abolished and Zizhen removed himself from the cultivation world to a life of solitude.
Centuries could lessen the guilt and pain of what happened with Wen Qinq, but it was something Sizhui had never been able to dispel from his mind. He encountered more and more reincarnated souls; some he knew, most were strangers, but he dedicated himself to each and everyone in repentance for his failure to Li JiaYi.
~X~
When Jin Ling revealed the contents of his conversation with Xinyi the night before, Sizhui and Jingyi felt a wave of dread wash over them. Experiencing the symptoms of awakening for so long was utterly unheard of, and for someone like Xue Yang to persist for so long without losing his mind- It felt impossible to believe.
“A-Yuan. This is your area of expertise.” Jin Ling said, breaking the long silence that had fallen between them. “How do we proceed?”
Sizhui shook his head slowly. “I… I’m not sure…”
“He seems perfectly fine.” Jingyi said, eyes glued to the floor. “He shows no signs of awakening. He shows up for class on time, he does his work well, he has friends- I don’t.... I don’t see how this is possible.”
“Last semester.” Sizhui chewed his lip anxiously. “My class last semester was earlier than yours, A-Yi. He was almost always late, and missed class so frequently I had to fail him. I thought he just didn’t care about the class, since he’s only majoring in anthropology because of the Wang Collection.”
“The what?” Jin Ling interjected, getting brushed off immediately.
“I can’t believe I dismissed such an obvious sign.”
“That still doesn’t explain how he’s coping so well.” Jingyi was pacing around the room now, chewing on his thumbnail. “Do we even need to do anything right now?”
Sizhui was silent for a moment, considering their options and the position they were in before speaking. “Since he seems fine for now… let’s try to hold out until we leave Leng Shuang. We can’t seal him without arousing suspicion, and guiding his awakening would just be a burden on Song Lan and Xiao Xingchen.”
The others nodded in agreement and set the conversation to rest for now, heading out to rejoin the group of students Song Lan had led out to the clearing near the temple. While Jin Ling headed off on his own again, Sizhui and Jingyi were left alone to keep an eye on Xinyi, watching out for any symptoms they may have missed before. In their absence, the students had already constructed a dozen or so poorly-made kites and were getting ready to send them up as targets.
Song Lan guided the students to line up in groups of five, with everyone else waiting impatiently behind them, and showed them how to hold their bows. The first group fired off their first arrows and missed their kites completely. Going through four more arrows each, only two kites were brought down. The second group consisted of Xinyi, Chen, QianHua, and MingYue, which of course made their turn an unspoken competition. Chen shot all five arrows into the air with no luck. QianHua nicked his kite on his fourth try, but it stayed suspended in the air mockingly. MingYue brought her’s down on the second try, and Xinyi shot his down with the first arrow.
After retrieving their kites, MingYue turned to intercept Xinyi with a smile. “Nice shooting-”
“No.” Xinyi picked up his kite and turned away from her without so much as a sideways glance.
She frowned and crossed her arms over her chest, crumpling her kite slightly. “We’re here for four more days, are you really going to ignore me the whole time?”
“We?” He asked, back still turned to her. “Didn’t you come here with your twin? You’re not part of my class, I don’t have to pay attention to you.”
“He’s not my twin, he’s…”
“Oh, I’m sorry, are the matching robes a couple outfit? My bad.” Xinyi rolled his eyes, shooting Chen and QianHua an exasperated look as he rejoined them.
“Hardly!” MingYue’s grip on her kite tightened, tearing through the paper. She took a deep breath and loosened her grip, forcing a small smile. “Look. I may not be part of your class, but we’re here together regardless. Can’t we just be civil with each other?”
“I’ll be civil with you.” QianHua stepped in, waggling his eyebrows at her.
Her smile tightened, hiding an air of disgust. “A-Xin, I-”
Xinyi spun back to face her now, throwing his kite to the ground and stepping close to her. “First of all, don’t fucking call me that. Ever. Again. Second of all, there’s twenty other people here for you to bother. Just because your freak boyfriend keeps ditching you, doesn’t make you my fucking babysitting job. Just piss off!”
Without another word, he turned back and stormed off into the trees. Chen and QianHua exchanged startled looks and ran after him, ignoring Sizhui and Jingyi calling after them. Once they caught up to him, QianHua swung an arm around his neck, walking alongside him on the path back to the temple.
“Man. What fucked up shit did a girl that hot have to pull to make you blow her off like that?”
Xinyi pushed his arm off, but slowed his pace for the two to keep up with him. “She just gets under my skin. She’s irritating. And I don’t get why she’s suddenly trying to reconnect with me. I haven’t heard from her in two fucking years, and now suddenly she shows up here out of nowhere and wants to be my friend?”
QianHua nodded thoughtfully, humming obnoxiously. “Sounds like fate to me. You guys must have been lovers in a past life, destined to be together.”
Xinyi scoffed. “The only thing she’s in love with is my family’s artifacts. I’m certain that’s the only reason she dated me. I’d sooner marry Chen than consider giving her another chance.”
“Hmm… Chen’s pretty in these robes, but is he really wife material?”
“I’d make the best wife. Don’t be jealous A-Qian.” Chen replied, grabbing Xinyi’s hand. “In case you’ve forgotten, I’m the only one of us that knows how to cook.”
Xinyi broke out in laughter and pulled Chen close. “See? Perfect! I never have to look at MingYue again.”
“Wait! I forgot about his cooking, I want Chen for my wife!” QianHua grabbed Chen’s other hand and tried to pull him away from Xinyi.
“Hey! Hands off my wife, how dare you disgrace her like that!” Xinyi pulled Chen behind him and snatched up a stick from the side of the trail, brandishing it at QianHua. “Your whole clan should pay for her dishonour!”
Chen broke down to his knees, laughing so hard tears welled up in his eyes. The two launched into a dramatic sword fight, chasing each other up and down the trail, jumping off of rocks and spinning around trees. QianHua got two good strikes in, which just urged Xinyi to fight harder. He found another stick and held them both up at his foe.
“Yin QianHua! I never like to exaggerate when I’m talking.” Xinyi smirked and lunged forward, swinging both swords down at QianHua. “If I say I’m gonna kill someone’s entire clan, I’ll actually kill their entire clan. I won’t even leave a dog behind!”
QianHua blocked the first two blows, but missed the third as he burst out laughing. “A-Xin!”
Xinyi pushed QianHua to his knees with his foot and pointed his sticks at him.
“A-Xin!” QianHua kept laughing, even with the ‘swords’ at his throat. “A-Xin, you should be careful wielding two swords like that.”
Xinyi paused, breaking character to toss a bemused glance at Chen, who only shrugged in return.
“You don’t know the term ‘Ryoutoutsukai’?” QianHua dropped his stick and wiped tears from his eyes with his sleeve. “I didn’t realize you were so serious about marrying Chen.”
Xinyi was about to question the man further, but their nonsense was finally cut short by a pointed throat-clearing. Three sets of eyes shot up to see Lan Jingyi and Song Lan staring them down disapprovingly. QianHua and Chen both bolted to their feet, brushing dust and leaves off their robes.
“If you three have no interest in participating with the group, I can find you a better activity.” Jingyi said sternly, holding a hand out to signal them back towards the temple.
Once they returned, the three were sat down in the courtyard and left to stew in their nerves while Jingyi disappeared inside the temple. When he returned, each of them were given thick, blank notebooks, a couple dozen scrolls, inkwells, and brushes.
“These scrolls contain the 3,000 principles of the Lan clan. Transcribe them.”
~X~
It was nearly ten in the morning by the time Jin Ling made his way back to the pond. Despite having spent hours the night before exploring every inch of the surrounding area, things looked different during the day and he was bound to notice something he hadn’t seen before. He circled the pond a few times, trying to see if there was any spot where the water was clearer. When nothing new revealed itself, he decided to pull the compass back out and turn his attention to the forest.
As he followed his previous route, Jin Ling checked the talismans and sigils he’d left. Everything was still in place, untouched and unchanged. It almost seemed like a waste of sigil papers. Heaving a sigh, he ripped them down to hang up elsewhere later on. Reaching his last set of papers, he took out the compass and watched as the needle spun and jerked around, finally stopping to point up the hill in front of him.
He packed the papers away in his sleeves and started the climb. After ten or fifteen minutes, Jin Ling found the remnants of an old beaten path and began to follow it, leaving a sigil behind on one of the trees. The spiritual energy in the air had increased, giving him a small feeling of hope that he was close to finding what he was looking for. With the sensation growing stronger, Jin Ling wondered how Song Lan and Xiao Xingchen hadn’t been able to pick up on this.
During his first night at the temple, Jin Ling had questioned the two about it, but neither one seemed aware and had reassured him that if anything malicious resided in their mountains, they would have slain it right away. Not wanting to insult their cultivation, he’d dropped the subject, but continued to investigate on his own. Having Sizhui and Jingyi’s students at the temple provided a distraction for the priests and an excuse to ditch MingYue, not wanting to endanger her unnecessarily until he knew what exactly he was tracking.
Having followed the path for half an hour, Jin Ling slumped down against a tree to rest, deciding to stop for lunch before deciding whether or not to turn around and follow the path the other way. He’d barely taken a sip of water before a rustling in the trees had him springing back to his feet. He drew his sword and froze, straining his ears at the sound. The woods were quiet for a moment, but then the rustling came again. A twig snapping, leaves being disturbed, the clumsy sound of footsteps. Jin Ling walked forward slowly, approaching the noise with his sword pointed out.
From behind a thicket of vines, an ambling figure stumbled forward. It’s skin was nearly black, leathery, and it’s movements were stiff and jerky. It’s clothes were dirty and ripped and it’s eyes had no pupils. Jin Ling recognized the thing immediately as a walking corpse. It’s spiritual energy was low and posed no threat to Jin Ling, but it’s presence brought an unbelievable sense of foreboding. How many millenia had passed since Jin Ling had last seen a walking corpse? How many millenia had passed since he’d last seen anything beyond low level restless spirits?
Jin Ling lunged forward and slayed the thing with ease. A quick search of the corpse revealed no clues as to how it had transformed. Something about the modern world had quelled corpse transformation- if there was one here now it could only mean someone with cultivation abilities had reanimated it intentionally. In the past, Jin Ling had only encountered a handful of situations like this. One turned out to be an immortal who’d turned to necromancy, driven mad by her long life in solitude. Most instances were descendants of forgotten cultivator families who’d tried practicing with incomplete lessons passed down through the generations.
Although there had also been a couple instances of reincarnated cultivators who’d lived traumatic lives, died gruesomely, and awakened too suddenly. Considering the current circumstances, Jin Ling had a hunch as to which scenario he was probably dealing with. Packing away the corpse inside a qiankun pouch, the cultivator carried on in the direction the thing had come from. He tracked it’s path for a few hundred yards before it seemed to disappear. No other corpses appeared, so he decided to finish for the day and head back to the temple. Having wasted most of the day backtracking all around the mountain, he was looking forward to eating dinner and having a drink with Sizhui and Jingyi.
When he got back, Jin Ling was surprised to find only three boys sitting in the courtyard, as opposed to the gaggle of twenty-or-so children he was bracing himself for. Song Lan, Sizhui, and Jingyi were nowhere to be found. At a loss for anything else, Jin Ling walked up behind one of the boys and looked down at the notebook that was slowly being filled. He quirked an eyebrow.
“How’d you piss Jingyi off that bad?” He asked, startling Chen so badly he practically leapt over his table, spilling his inkwell onto the ground.
“Wh-where’d you come from?” Chen scrambled back, pushing his glasses back into place, smudging one of the lenses in the process.
“From behind you. Obviously.” Jin Ling retorted, turning to Xinyi. “This was Jingyi, right? What’d you do?”
Xinyi shrugged indignantly. “That girl you brought with you was pissing me off and she wouldn’t leave me alone, so I left.”
“Hmph. Whatever. Where’s Jingyi now? And Sizhui? Where is everyone?”
“Eating inside.” QianHua replied, slumping over his table.
Jin Ling narrowed his eyes. “What, did they forget about you? Get up. Don’t transcribe anymore of that bullshit.”
The three boys shot up, chirping out thank you’s and trailed after Jin Ling like baby ducks, following him into the temple to where everyone else was eating. He shooed them in and directed them to sit down before joining Sizhui and Jingyi. The latter gave him an annoyed look, immediately berating him for bringing the three back in.
“Jin Ling! Don’t interfere with the way I discipline my students! Did they even finish transcribing the principles? How can you undermine me like this-?”
“A-Yi, eat your dinner.” Jin Ling cut him off, shoving a piece of lotus root into his mouth. “There’s 3,000 Lan principles and you had them using brushes. They wouldn’t have finished even if they worked nonstop for the next four days.”
Jingyi frowned, mumbling through the root. “That’s still not for you to decide…”
“Don’t talk with your mouth full.” Jin Ling snapped back. “Song Daozhang. Why has Xiao Daozhang not joined us for a meal yet?”
Song Lan looked over, tearing his eyes from where Xinyi and his two friends sat in the corner. “He’s here tonight, he just left to make more tea.”
~X~
After seeming to only see Xiao Xingchen when he was alone, Xinyi was relieved to finally see the man at dinner, confirming he hadn’t hallucinated him. However, it didn’t make him any less of an enigma. Xiao Xingchen hadn’t spoken at all the entire meal. Even when one of the professors or Jin Ling addressed him directly, he’d only smile or nod. With how easily Xingchen spoke to Xinyi, it seemed strange that he wouldn’t speak to the men he actually knew. The curiosity ate at him, but there was no way to even get near him with Song Lan there, and at the end of dinner, Xingchen quickly disappeared again.
Xinyi shrugged and decided to worry about it later. After staring at those scrolls for over two hours, his brain was too fried to do anything but go to bed. Accompanied by Chen and QianHua, Xinyi dragged his feet back to their shared room. They stripped out of their robes in silence and slipped into their beds, too tired to even complain about Jingyi’s arcane punishment. The only break in silence came from QianHua just as they were dozing off.
“Hey….”
“What.”
“After that battle today... you’re not even going to sleep next to your wife?” QianHua whispered, stifling laughter.
Xinyi snorted and grabbed whatever piece of clothing was nearest to him and chucked it at him. “Go the fuck to sleep.”
Do not kill within Cloud Recesses.
Do not fight without permission.
Do not go out at night.
Do not make noise.
Do not walk too fast.
Do not laugh for no reason.
Do not sit with a disgraceful pose.
The words echoed over and over again. Ghostly white figures walked past him in a line, one after another. As the whispers grew distant and muddled, the figures faced him and moved in closer. The one directly in front of him was a middle-aged woman, her face lined with worries. Her soft eyes were upturned with sorrow and tears spilled over her cheeks.
“How could you kill me so easily?”
Her voice was filled with heavy sobs. Tears spilled out faster and stained her pale face.
“You didn’t even spare my daughter, who was only four years old.”
A man took her place, his features much harsher and filled with anger.
“How disgraceful you are, cutting up my corpse for him.”
A young boy around his age spoke next.
“My body was never found. I was read no burial rights. No one burned paper money for me at a shrine. Why do you get to live again while I’m trapped in restlessness?”
He turned away desperately, trying to escape the ghosts coming towards him.
“You were still laughing as you carved the flesh from my bones.”
He squeezed his eyes shut, covering his face with his hands.
“You turned me into a corpse and made me kill my own brother.”
“I was on my way to my wedding-”
“You killed my children in their beds-”
“You were still laughing-”
“Was it fun?”
The whispers disappeared and, slowly, he opened his eyes. Only one ghostly figure remained. A man who shined like moonlight, with pale skin like porcelain, who’s only flaw was white bandage wrapped around his eyes.
“Was it fun?”
Two red blotches appeared on the bandages where his eyes would be.
“Of course it was. It’s always fun for you.”
The red bled down his cheeks.
“Killing people… it’s just a game to you.”
His throat opened up and added to the red pouring from his eyes, blooming down the front his white robes.
“Was my death… fun?”
Xinyi opened his eyes. The room was still dark. Chen and QianHua were still asleep beside him. He sat up and kicked the blankets off of him, his weary gaze settling on the crouched silhouette in the corner. Was that Chen’s backpack and clothes piled up? He squinted, leaning forward into a kneeling position. The silhouette mirrored his actions and leaned forward. His heart lurched and he jumped to his feet, his fingers turning cold. The silhouette stood up and took a step forward.
It’s long, black hair was disheveled, the knot at the top half falling out of it’s ribbon. It’s clothes were loose and sloppily held together. It’s eyes were blank slates, no pupils to indicate what Xinyi already knew- that it was looking directly at him. He looked down at Chen and QianHua for a split second, and when he looked back, the man was gone. Not waiting for it to come back, he opened the door and slipped out into the hall.
“Xue Yang!”
The figure reappeared in the hallway, spitting the words out with one finger pointed up accusingly. Fear shot through Xinyi’s body like electricity and sent him flying down the corridor, paying no attention to which way he was going, not stopping until he nearly collided with the closed door of the artifact room. He yanked the door open, stepped into the room, and slammed it shut. On his hands and knees, Xinyi crawled across the floor and made himself as small as possible in the far corner of the room.
Just as his heart rate was finally returning to normal, the door began to slide open. He held his breath, hoping the ghost somehow wouldn’t find him if he didn’t move or make any noise. But the man that appeared in the doorway wasn’t disheveled or dressed in rags. He was dressed in a plain, white night robe and his hair was neatly combed down his back. Xiao Xingchen stood across from Xinyi, his eyes finding him in the dark immediately.
“Appreciating the art?”
Xinyi let out a heavy breath of relief. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to wake you up.”
Xingchen smiled. “I was already awake.”
The light from Xingchen’s lamp illuminated the room as he came inside and closed the door behind him. He crossed the room and knelt in front of Xinyi, placing the lamp on the floor beside them.
“Nightmare?”
Xinyi nodded slowly. “How’d you guess?”
“It’s the middle of the night.” Xingchen replied, his smile widening. “And you’re hiding in the only room in the temple full of swords.”
He looked over at the wall of swords beside him, having not even noticed them until now, and broke out laughing. Or crying. Or both. He covered his face with his hands, trying not to let the other man see.
“Xinyi?” Xingchen reached a hand out and placed it on Xinyi’s knee.
After a moment, he dropped his hands, meeting Xingchen’s gaze.
“Did something else happen?”
Xiao Xingchen’s face showed such genuine concern it hurt Xinyi’s heart. Something about it made him want to laugh again, but another part of him wanted to tell Xingchen what he saw, confide in him about all the horrible nightmares he’s been having and how now he seemed to be plagued by restless spirits.
“Xingchen…” His fingers rubbed together anxiously. “What does… Xue Yang mean?”
The man’s body went rigid. The smile disappeared from his face and his gaze hardened. Xinyi regretted his question immediately. He wasn’t sure which was worse; the way Xingchen was looking at him or the fact that he recognized the words the ghost had shouted at him.
“Why are you asking me that?” He asked planely.
Feeling his nerves building up, Xinyi laughed quietly and looked away. “It’s nothing. It’s just nonsense from my dream.”
“Don’t lie to me.”
He clenched his fists. “Would you believe me if I said I heard it from a ghost?”
Xingchen was silent and Xinyi couldn’t help but look back up. To his relief, the angered expression he wore before had dissipated and his features were soft again. The man looked down at the flame from the lamp, wrapping his fingertips on the floor, drumming out that same beat from the day at the river. After running through the beat several times, Xingchen looked back at Xinyi.
“Every artifact in this temple is thousands of years old. The tapestries, the fans, and porcelain dishware. They all have ghosts attached to them. Most people aren’t sensitive enough to hear them.” Xingchen took Xinyi’s hand and held it between his own. “These restless spirits think only of why they’re trapped here. Time is frozen for them, so they don’t understand things like forgiveness or change. Your nightmares have made you vulnerable to them- you can hear them now.”
Xinyi swallowed hard, unsure of whether or not he believed what the man was saying. He didn’t want to believe it- that the ghosts he saw were real and that he was going to keep seeing them. Was it just one more horrible reality that he’d have to adjust to, like he had to adjust to the nightmares?
“Xue Yang.”
He looked up, startled to see that Xingchen had leaned in closer to him.
“It’s a name.” He looked to the right where JiangZai stood in its case. “The name of the man who owned that sword.”

Gangsters ah Qing x ouyang zizhen
“Bang, bang! You’re dead!”
“Augh!”
Ouyang Zizhen dramatically threw himself onto his couch and held a hand to his side. As he stuck his tongue out and rolled his eyes back, A-Qing walked over in large, powerful strides to look down at him.
“Give me the money!” She demanded, aiming her finger guns at her friend’s face.
“I can’t, I’m dead,” Ouyang Zizhen spoke without putting his tongue away, not giving up his act.
“So!? Like that’s an excuse!” A-Qing tapped her foot impatiently. “Money, now! Or big boss will come here and kill you twice!”
“Okay, fine! I’ll give you the money, but only after you answer my riddle,” Ouyang Zizhen sat up while still holding his side. “I wrote it myself. What-”
“Zizhen?” His father walked into the living room with a newspaper under his arm. “Who are you talking to?”
Ouyang Zizhen smiled sadly at A-Qing, who hung her head and sat down beside him.
“Nobody. Just thinking out loud...”

Just finished my remake with other doodles of memories from the original story. A baby Jin Ling wanting to get his Jiu Jiu’s attention ( i messed up at the hands.. His hands are supposed to reach for the sleeve but I made him small. ) Wei Wuxian looks like a beggar yes because I want to TRY to make an AU where as if Wei Wuxian survived and did not die in the burial mounds siege. He is holding a Qiakun pouch just for accessory and in this AU Wei Wuxian did not tell and is not planning to tell the Cultivation World why he is using Demonic Cultivation and he is currently being watched by the Jin’s and Jiang’s. The Jiang’s are watching him because Jiang Cheng still cares for his older brother and misses the old times with him and is trying to find a way to prove he is not a threat to the people around him. Yanli and Jin Zixuan still lives and gives Jin Ling love and care but Yanli is currently visiting her cousins so baby Jin Ling is with his Jiu Jiu wanting to play with him. Jin Zixuan is a sect leader busy that’s why he left Jin Ling with his brother-in-law. Jin Ling doesn’t know about his uncle Wei Wuxian but Yanli tells him he is a good person and stuff like that. Also Jin Ling is curious about his uncle so when he grows up in this AU he meets Wei Wuxian in a nighthunt and become aquaintances with him ( since they just met ). Wen Ning and Wen Qing didn’t die here instead they were accepted by the Cultivation world to help people they are also watched but not as heavily as Wei Wuxian ( the Cultivational World trusts the Wen Siblings since they helped them in the Sunshot Campain by treating the wounded ). Wen Yuan is being taken care of by Lan Wangji since the Cultivational World doesn’t trust Wei Wuxian with the child so Lan Wangji participated in adopting and taking care of the child as a father figure and gave him the Lan Clan Ribbon with his uncle’s and brother’s permission. Wei Wuxian in this AU still visits Sizhui / Wen Yuan rarely and therefore they spend the day together until he has to go. Basically the older Wen’s died of old age, Yanli and Jin Zixuan lives since their deaths are caused by Wen Ning and a random Cultivator, Wen Ning and Wen Qing never died but proceeds to treat the wounded, Wei Wuxian still lives but is being watched carefully and got his son taken away but lives a good life in Gusu, Lan Wangji is a father figure to Sizhui and proceeds to take care of him because he reminds him of Wei Wuxian ( yes he loves him still ), +Wei Wuxian is still CLUELESS, Jiang Cheng doesn’t know the sacrifice that his older brother made for him but still cares for him jn his own way but punished him by the order of the Cultivation World until he asked them to release his brother but instead they carefully watch him but also gave him little freedom, Jin Ling does not hate his uncle but he wants to know more about him ever since Yanli described him as kind, funny, charismatic ( etc ), The Junior Quartet lives ( Yes Ouyang Zizhen too ), then finally Lan Wangji had the guts to tell Wei Wuxian he loves him then they get married and then he under survilance of the Gusu Lan clan but not as heavily as before since he didn’t do anything for the past 13 years but Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji now takes care of the Junior Quartet when they go night hunting ( no I do not ship Zhuling and Zhuyi or Sizhui x Zizhen I’m sorry if I offended some shippers! I ship Lingyi please respect that ), Lan Xichen hides his feelings for Jiang Cheng but then Jiang Cheng confessed to Lan Xichen first and started to court each other, Yanli of course visits her brothers and invites them to bond with each other like before, Jiang Clan was never burned, Yu Ziyuan and Jiang Fengmian lives and often takes care of baby Jin Ling before, Jin Guanshan dies because of an illness, Jin Guangyao became Jin Zixuan’s assistant and often takes care of the sect business when Jin Zixuan wants to visit his family, Nie Mingjue still lives to help Nie Huaisang in sect business, Everyone has a happy life also Wei Wuxian in my “if Wei Wuxian still lives” AU. ( not my main AU )
