𝐋𝐄𝐄 𝐇𝐄𝐄𝐒𝐄𝐔𝐍𝐆 had it all.

the walls of his room were littered with delegate lanyards from conferences across the globe, "best delegate" certificates framed all over his house (and a couple crumpled up inside his desk to fit the space), and a collection of trophies that stood in every nook and cranny.

no one at decelis high dared to go against him. whenever it was, whether it was moderated caucus or unmoderated, he'd always have his country or character's placard raised high, ready to speak, or leading whatever bloc was being formed.

it was no doubt that no one has ever beat him. it was no doubt that he was decelis high's mun club's secretary-general. and those who chose to go against him either get crushed in fear or knew when to step back.

even with his "best delegate" status, he wouldn't have gone far without his best mates, park jongseong, sim jaeyun, and park sunghoon.

park jongseong or jay, most known for his cold stares in the debate room, ready to make a delegate tremble, would always chair crisis. he was decelis high's deputy secretary-general alongside heeseung. and although being heeseung's best mate, he never favored him when it came to awarding. it's just that he was naturally talented.

sim jaeyun, known for his popular slogan around the school; "jake it till you make it!", was the strongest when it came to knowing what a country or character believed in. his research skills were like a pirate on the hunt for lost treasure, he had all the facts, the data, and the proof to back up any stance. whatever heeseung needed to know, jake already had his back.

and park sunghoon. even though he was the quiet one of the bunch, his position papers never ceased to appeal any chair. even if he wasn't as strong in speaking out during committee sessions, his fingers were his weapon. the guys would always ask him why'd he chair press and not join in the heat with them, he'd always answer with a simple, "my words are stronger than my actions." where jay would always respond with "isn't that the other way around bud?"

the four were unstoppable when it came to model un. lee heeseung was unstoppable. he was. until you came along.

MUN INTRO: hey! my name's peyton [th/th, cst, 21+] & i'll be writing for sverre olsen, lee hyeon, selena palacio & dylan hwang here. you can find me on discord @ #seamonkeydefender & please feel free to add me w/o asking as well! discord is my preferred plotting method. all of my characters are on sideblogs aside from sverre, so i will be dming from @portra400s when necessary... hehe

CHARA INTRO: next up, lee hyeon. he's a 25yr old city boy, currently "visiting" yuseong bay (re: staying here indefinitely) to ride out some bad press, as he was an idol up until his group noisily disbanded in late 2023. he's always been interested in cars/had some mechanic experience so he's now the shop hand at park's garage. you can view his stats here & his pinterest here if interested!

answer the following prompts, either ooc or ic!

when did your muse first arrive in yuseong bay?: has visited a few times before, but moved to yuseong bay indefinitely in february 2024.

what does an average day look like for your muse?: wake up around 6:30 or 7:00am, skincare/brush teeth, go for a jog around town, go back home to have breakfast, go to work, go home to shower and change clothes, go out for a while (probably for a joyride, but maybe somewhere to socialize), go home to spend the rest of the evening helping out around the house or working on music, go to sleep.

where can your muse usually be found?: during the day, he's usually at park's garage. aside from that, he's known to just cruise around in his car; though it is somewhat common to see him in the recreation center's gym or at 88& bar.

how does your muse feel about hanwha resort?: indifferent. it doesn't affect him in any way, but he's currently living with his best friend's grandparents, and he feels a bit sad for them that their quiet little town is becoming a little less quiet. still, he doesn't care a whole lot as it doesn't seem to have done any real harm to the area, and is more just of a nuisance than anything from what he can see.

is there an aspiration for your muse to stay in or leave yuseong bay?: he's waiting out bad press, so he'll probably be in yuseong bay until (a) his location leaks or (b) he can search his name without the disbandment news & articles about him being sued being the first things to come up. he was young when he started training to be an idol & only 18 when he debuted, soooo he's also just now getting a chance to (kind of) relax for the first time in his life—these are his motivations to stay, but he's a city boy at heart & does want to return to being a public figure when the drama dies down, so he'll have to leave sooner or later.

describe your muse's style: simple, straight-forward. a closet full of basics in a dark color palette, but if pay him any mind, you’ll see that most of what he wears is designer—he’ll define his taste as “quiet elegance,” but it’s mostly just his pretentiousness speaking. occasionally wears accent pieces or graphic tees, but mostly stays minimalistic with layered jewelry as the “point”.

three strong likes and dislikes for your muse: really likes reptiles, racing, fashion / really doesn't like scifi, having to share anything, being disagreed with.

three talents and shortcomings for your muse: very musically skilled, esp with producing, great at making decisions when no one else can/wants to (he'll never make you choose where to eat), very handy / poor control on his emotions, often acts without thinking, starts shit he can't finish.

what is a book/tv series/movie/video game character that you feel your character relates to?: mostly mac, some dennis (it's always sunny).

a relevant goal or arch for your character to overcome: hyeon's a very self-focused person. he's not quite as bad as he was when he was a little younger, but he's still quite aggressive & quick to use people for personal gain, then ditch them when they have nothing left to offer—doesn't necessarily want to be like this, and he's gained some self-awareness in recent times. so, it'd be nice if he can (start to) overcome this and view people as... people... instead of tools to get himself further in life!!! which will hopefully be easier for him in a place like yuseong bay anyway, where life is a little slower and the people are more genuine than what he's used to. aside from this, he has some inner child healing he needs to do and also needs to rediscover his own personality outside of the public image he's curated.

MORE INFO!

hyeon was the main rapper/subvocalist of a boy group called twi5t. debuted in 2017, disbanded in late 2023. they were pretty popular and believed by the public to be not just coworkers, but very good friends—which amplified this positive, ideal perception the public had of them. tl;dr is that they all hated each other. the only real friendship was between hyeon and one other member, who happens to be from yuseong bay and whose family hyeon's currently staying with.

in his stint as an idol, hyeon was originally the least popular member of twi5t. had an attitude scandal not long after debut, so he was under scrutiny already and it didn't help that he had a rough sense of humor and a tendency to use banmal with people he ought to be respecting. over the years, he gained (some) public favor thru the extensive producing he did for the group and other groups within the industry, solo variety show appearances, community service he was forced into, etc etc. but even as people cut him more slack and started to like him, he was perceived as being the most problematic one in the group which was... not true...

but i digress. he was one of the first members to start releasing solo music, which he "bribed" the company into. basically said "hey i'll let u guys have more of the profits than stated in my contract if u let me do this" because he was like... 21 and stupid as hell JBSDHJVSBDF like... he really thought that if he gave them a leg up, it would prevent them from trying to fuck him over. spoiler: it didn't. ultimately his contract was amended and resulted in the profits from everything with his name as an individual on it being split 60% to the company and 40% to him, but he didn't realize this was a permanent thing until a few years down the line when people who'd featured on his songs were making more money off said songs than he was. atp he was one foot out the door, not caring too much about the company or group 'cause fuck those guys for real...

still tried to be on his best behavior and was gonna wait out the contract, but shit started going extremely south with the group in 2023 and hyeon got sued into the ground for slander & breach of contract over a drunk instagram live he did where he was talking about it. aired out not only the group, but the company's business—basically talking about how the members didn't get along, citing a few instances, bitching about management never helping and just sweeping problems under the rug, mentioning how the company trapped him in an unfair contract, etc etc. so yea... his reputation's in the dirt!

anyway... he's 25 now. his brain's finally fully developed. he's learned from his mistakes. he's a better & smarter man than he used to be, but still has a long way to go. picked up a job at park's garage not longer after moving to yuseong bay, as he doesn't like to have too much time to sit around and sulk—helps that he's extremely interested in cars & had some prior mechanic experience from pre-debut and sidework for friends throughout his career.

speaking of cars........ he has two: a 2008 mitsubishi eclipse spyder, which usually sits @ the garage and his flashy daily driver, a 2022 mclaren 765lt. who's he pissing off when he goes joyriding with the top down?

Im not sure if you're a hiking person, but How is hiking/nature in Catalonia? I've been learning the language for the past few months and i am interested in visiting and I really love being out in nature and hiking

Hi! First of all, sorry for the delay in answering, I've been very busy this week and I've left the blog on queue, I'm catching up today.

There's lots of cool places to hike!

Historically, hiking has been very important for keeping alive the culture and language, ever since the 19th century (as a way to getting to know the country and its history, since the population had been denied its own history) and especially until the Franco dictatorship (we have mentioned before how people used going hiking as a way to get away from the police and being able to speak Catalan during the times of illegalization).

There are many hiking associations in Catalonia, you can find them with names like "centre excursionista" or "grup excursionista". I don't know how long you're staying, but if you were to stay for a relatively long time I'm sure you could probably find some hiking association near wherever you stay.

Otherwise, you might also be interested in Wikiloc. It's a website (created by a Catalan) where everyone can upload the routes they like. It's very popular and there's lots of hikes in all areas, and it shows you the route and all the information and what you can see in the way.

There's many places to hike in all around the country. There are many natural parks, with 16 being recognised above the other in (Southern) Catalonia + 1 in Northern Catalonia.

From North to South, by type of landscape:

IN THE PYRENEE MOUNTAINS:

1. Regional Natural Park of the Catalan Pyrenees (Northern Catalonia).

Includes the Canigó mountain, legendary and symbolic mountain for Catalans. If you go there for Sant Joan festivity (June 23rd), you can join the hike to go get the fire on top of the mountain (we explained it in this post).

There's many hikes in the websites Tourisme Canigou and Sud Canigó.

2. Parc Nacional d'Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici

This is another beautiful park in the Pyrenees and the Sant Maurici lake. It's the only natural park in Catalonia that is considered a National Park in the Spanish system.

3. Parc Natural de l'Alt Pirineu (High Pyrenees Natural Park)

Beautiful mountains and, just like for all the other parks in the Pyrenees, near valleys with beautiful villages of Medieval origin with a heritage of Romanesque churches (the ones in Vall de Boí are recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site).

4. Parc Natural de les Capçaleres del Ter i del Freser

Where the Ter and Freser rivers are born. It includes the Núria Valley (Vall de Núria).

5. Parc Natural del Cadí-Moixeró

Includes the iconic Pedraforca mountain.

ASLEEP VOLCANOES:

6. Parc Natural de la Zona Volcànica de la Garrotxa (Natural Park of the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone)

Includes the Fageda d'en Jordà (Jordà birch tree forest) and cool Medieval towns like Santa Pau, Besalú, Castellfollit de la Roca, els Hostalets d'en Bas, and more.

COASTAL PARKS:

7. Parc Natural del Cap de Creus (Creus Cape Natural Park)

Beautiful coastal area in the Costa Brava, also includes the Medieval monastery Sant Pere de Rodes. In the area there's lots of typically Mediterranean-style towns with white walls, some of them very touristic and some of them less so.

8. Parc Natural del Montgrí, les Illes Medes i el Baix Ter

In the coast of the Costa Brava, it's very beautiful. Also near lots of cute towns of Medieval origin.

9. Parc Natural dels Aiguamolls de l'Empordà (the Empordà Wetlands Natural Park)

And on the opposite end of Catalonia:

10. Parc Natural del Delta de l'Ebre (Ebro Delta Natural Park)

Where the Ebro river reaches the Mediterranean sea. Famous for its rice fields and birdwatching. It's very flat, so it's a good idea to hire a bike and bike through the paths among the rice fields to the sea.

12. Parc Natural de Sant Llorenç del Munt i l'Obac

13. Parc Natural de la Muntanya de Montserrat

Montserrat is one of the most famous and sacred mountains in Catalonia. It has a very characteristic shape and landscape and is home to a monastery over 1000 years old that guards the Moreneta (black Madonna, patron saint of Catalonia).

14. Parc Natural de Collserola

Collserola is the mountain range that overlooks Barcelona city.

15. Parc Natural de la Serra de Montsant

Located in the Priorat wine area (to take into account if you are wine lovers), the Monstant mountain range is located in a very rural area with lots of vineyards cultivated on the mountain slopes and also lots of historical tiny rural chapels, as well as the ruins of the Escaladei Carthusian monastery.

16. Parc Natural dels Ports

Mountains and lots of natural swimming pools you can bathe in.

You'll be able to find hikes in the websites of all of them.

OMG, RED ALERT

friends. A new project group, EVNNE, is coming out, featuring all my faves. You may have already heard about it when it was called something like "BLIT". Anyway... read on for more info!

EVNNE is a new project group featuring: Park Hanbin, Lee Jeonghyeon, Mun Junghyun, Park Jihoo, Yoo Seungeon, Ji Yunseo, and Keita. I'm officially dead!

In case you forget who is who: Park Hanbin -- ended up being my one-pick in the end. The one who had blue hair at the beginning. The one who is the best leader and would always calmly but intensely kick his team's ass in the best way. The one who (1) knew he was going to get kicked out of his own team and (2) learned the choreography of two songs at the same time to protect himself. He was in Hot Sauce and Law and Switch, and made it to the finale. Lee Jeongyhun and Mun Junghyun -- I called them "Mun and Lee" a lot in my recaps, and the show made a lot out of their friendship. They were in the same initial audition group with Park Hanbin and Kim Taerae, when they covered that song by Ateez.

(In that video, Hanbin has blue hair; Lee is wearing a white short sleeved jacket; Mun is wearing mostly black with silver stripes on his pants) Lee made it closer to the finale, as MNET suddenly began pushing him hard. He also wrote the rap in the Over Me performance. Mun was in Very Nice and Ggang, and was supposed to be in Supercharger but got eliminated. Park Jihoo -- one of the two talented guys who did that great audition that MNET didn't show. In my recaps, I was a bit fascinated by the moment when Hui kicked him out of the big #1 chair and Jihoo said, "But I just got here." You probably noticed him for the first time when he sort of took over the Limousine group and helped guide Anthonny and Krystian into making a fantastic performance. Yoo Seungeon was the "titanium voice." Ji Yunseo is a sweet-faced guy who a little bit faded into the background through no fault of his own. They both auditioned with Kick It, along with future winners Han Yujin and Kim Gyuvin. In the Kick It performance, Seungeon is the one with the row of shiny dots on his pants. I can't figure out how to describe Ji YunSeo's outfit so here's a pic:

Seungeon went on to be in Very Nice Yunseo was the main vocal in Backdoor (which I was opposed to at the time, though he did a perfectly decent job). They both were in Home. Yunseo starts off sitting, while Seungeun is wearing the world's most hideous and poorly thought out sweater. Yunseo got eliminated after that, but Seungeun performed in Say My Name, wearing a green tie. And I really hope you remember Keita. You do, don't you? In case you forgot, I think his finest moment is in Zoom. (He's the one in the red hat).

You guys, I am so happy. I know this was announced a few days ago but I've been neck-deep in work getting ready for the August SAT administration and you guys, omg, I've been dancing around the house all day. My fella was like, "oh, how soon until they debut? have they dropped a teaser yet?" and I'm like OMG YOU SPEAK KPOP NOW

Chap. 21-Let's Talk About It

Here it is guys! Finally, you’ll be getting lore on Vanessa and the Prince and why they turn into monsters.

Like my other two fanfics, I also worked on this during my trip to Canada but didn’t finish it as I was so focused on getting my Fairy Au and my Welcome to Dreamworld fanfic done first before finishing this one.

It was Thursday, and class only had a few minutes left before they were let out and both students and teachers could go home and rest.

For Lucas, he wanted to go talk to Vanessa before she left. After almost a week of thinking about it, he wanted to ask Vanessa about the curse. Hopefully, Vanessa could give him the answers he’s been looking for.

Finally, the bell rang.

The class stopped what they were doing and gathered their stuff, leaving the classroom and heading home for the day.

“You have a great rest of the day! I’ll see you all tomorrow!” Lucas yelled as he waved goodbye to his class.

Once they were gone, he let out a sigh and carefully went next door to Vanessa’s classroom, hoping she was still there.

To Lucas’s relief, she was there, packing up her stuff before heading home. He waited just a bit before opening the door.

“Oh!” Vanessa exclaimed. “Lucas, what’s up?”

“N-nothing,” Lucas replied. “I was just wondering if you wanna talk.”

Vanessa chuckled. “About what?” she asked.

Lucas was about to reply- but not before urging Vanessa back inside her classroom. He followed after and closed the door. Once he saw it was safe to talk, Lucas continued.

“It’s about my curse,” He stated.

Vanessa sighed.

She knew this day would come, after the outburst she had in front of Aubrey a month ago it took Lucas long enough for him to ask about that.

“Alright we’ll talk about it- but not here,” Vanessa said.

“Where would you like to talk about it?” Lucas asked.

Vanessa thought for a second before answering. “We’re going to the local park we always went to as kids.”

“Got it,” Lucas replied.

Once most of the students had gone home for the day, it was safe for Lucas and Vanessa to leave the school together, putting their important stuff in Lucas’s car and walking towards the park.

Once there, they walked past the playground to a secret area where they always played at. Upon going through the bushes, they saw nothing had changed in their secret hideout.

“It's been a long time since we visited this place,” Lucas commented.

“Yeah,” Vanessa replied. “Last time we were here was… when you proposed to me.”

Lucas sighed, remembering that day.

He planned it on a Friday during a sunset. It was perfect- until the surprise rainstorm happened, but despite how wet he and Vanessa were, the proposal still happened.

Lucas still wished he and Vanessa did get married and start a life together. However, this curse prevented that from happening.

Vanessa led Lucas to the tree they always used to sit at, talk and sit down, letting out a sigh.

“Man, I miss being here,” Lucas said.

“Same!” Vanessa added as she let out a relaxing sigh.

The two sat there, reminiscing about their time at the secret hideout. During that time, Vanessa and Lucas kept on glancing at one another not saying a word, just blushing when one looked at the other.

Seeing that both of them were not going to get anywhere with this, Vanessa decided to speak up. “So, you're probably wondering what’s been going on. About the curse I mean.”

Lucas turned to her and nodded.

Vanessa pulled out her smartphone from her bag and went to her photos. After a moment of scrolling, she found the photo she was looking for. “I did some research and found out what this curse is,” she revealed, showing the photo to Lucas-who took the phone and looked at the info on the curse.

Lucas read what the curse was about as Vanessa continued to explain what it was.

“It’s called the Ghostly Curse. A curse that is crested, calling upon evil spirits and turning you into a ghostly demon,” She explained.

He looked through the photo, swiped to the next page, and looked at more drawings of the curse. “I’ve been researching this for a year!” Lucas exclaimed, “How did you find all this information?”

“I found it hidden away in the manor. Apparently, someone found the book, but some of the pages were ripped out,” Vanessa explained. “I think those pages were the cure, and whoever cursed us ripped it out and hid it from us.”

“But why would you hide it? What in your crazy mind made you think about hiding it?!” Lucas asked, raising his voice.

“Because I didn’t do it!” Vanessa yelled.

Lucas scoffed. “Yeah, sure!”

“Lucas, I'm serious! What proof do you need to know I didn’t do this to you?!” Vanessa yelled.

Lucas opened his mouth and stepped back a bit.

Vanessa was right; he didn’t have proof that Vanessa did this. However, her behavior towards him after the proposal was enough for him.

Vanessa calmed down and stepped back. “You don’t, do you?” she asked.

“No, I don’t,” Lucas replied. “Just your behavior changed after I proposed to you.”

“That’s because I was cursed first,” Vanessa replied.

However, Lucas didn’t listen and kept on going,

“The day we broke it off, you turned into this monster right in front of me, all because you thought I cheated on you!” Lucas yelled.

“And I’m sorry about it!” Vanessa apologized.

“You really hurt me, Vanessa! I told you I was just giving the florist money! I would never cheat on you. I'm not like HIM!?” Lucas screamed.

Suddenly a blue flame appeared in his hands and blasted towards a tree, putting a large hole through it.

Lucas and Vanessa were horrified at what they just witnessed. Vanessa slowly turned towards Lucas as he looked down at his hands.

The flames were still glowing and turning purple.

“W-What’s going on!?” Lucas asked, panicking.

“The curse,” Vanessa answered. “It messes with your emotions. If you're emotional you’ll make it worse.”

Lucas started to hyperventilate as the flames began going up to his arms. This made his transformation process a lot faster than usual.

“V-Vanessa!” He coughed out, his voice starting to change, “H-Help!”

“Lucas, stay calm. Please,” Vanessa begged.

Lucas tried to slow down his breathing, but he was still transforming into his cursed form. His hair turned darker and purple. Seeing nothing was working, his panic grew, which made him transform more.

Vanessa tried to hold Lucas’s hand, but was scared, thinking he would attack her again.

With a gulp, she slowly put her hand on his and held it.

Lucas’s eyes snapped open as he slowly looked at Vanessa’s hands. He gasped and looked up at Vanessa- who was now crying seeing him in this state.

“Please, you have to stay calm-” Vanessa repeated, “If you don’t it’ll get worse.”

Lucas slowly nodded and tried to stay calm. He tried thinking of things that usually calmed him down: his friends, his family, his students, anything that made him happy.

Slowly, the curse started to fade, and Vanessa’s smile started to grow. “That’s it, Luke. Stay calm, alright?” she reassured him.

Lucas let out an exhale and opened his eyes, seeing he had calmed down and that the curse had gone away. He was in shock seeing Vanessa help him, and smiled at her.

“Better?” Vanessa asked.

Lucas nodded in reply, “Thank you, Vanessa.”

Vanessa smiled and let go of Lucas’s hand. She then went into her bag and grabbed a purple charm bracelet that had a blue flame charm.

“You’ll need this,” she said, handing him the bracelet.

Lucas took the bracelet and examined it. “What’s this?” he asked.

“During my research, I found something that helps stabilize the curse temporarily,” Vanessa explained.

Lucas put the bracelet on, and a purple glow illuminated from the flame. He didn’t feel different, just the same.

“That’s it?” Lucas asked.

“I suppose so,” Vanessa replied. She started to walk away- but not before giving one more glance at Lucas. “Well, I guess I’ll see you tomorrow, then.”

Just as Vanessa was ready to leave, Lucas spoke up.

“Wait!” Lucas yelled, stopping Vanessa. He walked over to her, and with a deep breath, spoke up. “I don’t know who cursed us, but I know it wasn’t you.”

Vanessa was surprised-but gave a small smile, seeing Lucas finally believed her.

“However,” he continued, “because of how you treated me- and how I treated you, it’s gonna be hard to get along, again.”

“I thought so,” Vanessa replied.

“But-since we’re both researching this-we need to work together and figure out how to cure it,” Lucas said.

Vanessa nodded. “Right! How about…” She paused to think. “Tomorrow.”

“Alright. Meet me at my apartment after school, we can go over what we find. Hopefully, we can find answers,” Lucas explained.

“Okay,” Vanessa replied.

The two left their hideout, and saw people leaving the park. They decided to do the same, knowing they’ll be busy all day tomorrow.

Vanessa glanced at her hand and Lucas’s hand, and hesitated once again to hold it. She held it before, but it was desperately needed.

Lucas saw Vanessa wanted to hold his hand again- but while he allowed her earlier, he was still too untrusting for her to hold it again, so he put his hand in his pocket.

Vanessa saw this and frowned, but wasn’t upset.

She knew it would be a while before the two trusted each other fully, but she knew whoever cursed them would pay for this.

As they walked, they didn’t notice they were being followed by the same creature as before.

He smirked and chuckled.

Kinie was quiet as she was looking out the window seeing the busy life of New York City. She has seen so much while being here even if her mind was distracted. Tomorrow she was going to be going back home to her homeland Australia. Even if Sukuna promised her he would help get her back home, now she didn't want to.

She did wish to see how her home was doing to ensure everything is alright. She wanted to do that at least. However, she didn't want to leave Sukuna alone. Even when she came here she was taken from her home to be some sort of slave. Though, she might still be in danger of being one if it wasn't for him.

Sukuna saved her life and she owes him for that even if he said she didn't. He seriously was a kind man even if he is seen as the devil due to his power and thoughts. Even now, she was looking quiet thinking about it.

'I don't want to leave him..but I need to see how my land is. Maybe I can think of a plan to just come back after. It shouldn't be long. Maybe just a few days or so...yeah, just a few days and then I can come back!' she thought looking to the window but she sighed knowing Sukuna was in a meeting right now. He was already speaking with others or his followers about helping with getting Kinie to her homeland. So to say, today was her last day here in America. Well, for the moment.

Closing her eyes, she opens them again to look down. She would come back to him, she would. Just needs to help with trying to see her home. For now, she wonders if the others were happy about her going home. Honestly, they didn't want her to go but they get the feeling she would return. For now, she remains calm to look at the outside.

The next morning, Sukuna was having a driver take him and Kinie to the airport now while she was looking ahead wondering about it but she was wondering if Sukuna was okay. He was alright while wearing a black suit but he was knowing the other cars passing by. However, he did look to Kinie who was quiet for now. Was she still upset? He figure she was happy about going home. It was a promise he kept while they head to the airport.

"..You alright princess?" he speaks to break the silence that Kinie blinks to look up at him.

"No worries my king, I'm alright. Just..thinking." she mutters softly that Sukuna looks to her.

"Thinking about something? Happy about going back home?" he asked.

"...In a way. I'm just happy I'm going to see if my land is alright." she looks to him but Sukuna looks to her not saying too much. However, he was thinking about it. Knowing much, he would be something.

"Hmmmm I see. Well, we will be at the airport soon my dear. I have the tickets so you should get on the plane after."

"........."

Both him and her were quiet and yet, in a moment they got to the airport seeing it was not as busy. It shows the driver parks but gets out of the car to open the door for Sukuna and Kinie. He gets out first then goes to help Kinie out too. The airport was huge but Kinie blinks seeing other people walking in or some out.

"Come, this way." he held her hand but leads her to the doors with the driver waiting for him to return. Another helper gets Kinie's bags while the two walk inside of the airport. Sukuna was walking but he was quiet while knowing Kinie was close. Even if he was a bit down he was happy that he kept his promise to help her. Both just kept walking till he gets to one of the plane gate seeing it was not boarding yet. They were getting ready to though.

"..Seems were a bit early......Did you wish to sit down somewhere to wait?" he asked.

"......I guess that's fine." she said so both sit and wait. Sukuna sits by her but they were quiet for a moment. They heard the other people walking in front of them. Even some talking or hurrying to their planes. For now, Kinie sighed to look at the ground.

"Hey...my king?"

"Yes Princess?" he asked.

"..I wanted to say thank you for helping me. I know the first meeting was...unexpected. And yet, you helped me get better again and regain my honor and pride as a hunter. I don't know how to.."

"You don't have to thank me. I wanted to because I felt you were like me. I went through the same thing as you did. Stripped of my power and title. I had to work to get it back and look at me..well known in New York. I wanted to help you regain it." he said and yet, Kinie was quiet.

"Besides, you are a true warrior..and I am happy that your back to your self again." he smiled and yet, Kinie blinks to look at him as he gently held her hand. "Though, I will miss you. I hope what you do at your home is alright....."he said and yet, she was quiet to look at him.

'.....Why would you say that? Why now? I did want to check on my home....but hearing you say that......why?..'

She didn't say too much but only looks down to hold his hand back. "Thank you for t..that. You did help me and thanks to it, I'm better than I was..I really owe you so much for the help. For your kindness..." she said softly with a smile upon her lips. He smiled but only leans in to kiss her forehead.

Even she was not expecting him to kiss her forehead. It was gentle and yet, it was only making him still hold her hand gently. She feels him pull back that he moves back to smile at her. Kinie didn't know what to say but she only tries to speak when hearing a voice.

"Attention: Plane for Australia is now boarding. Attention, plane for Australia is now boarding"

"Seems it's time..." he said standing up but he looks to Kinie who stood up too looking at him. He looks to her but held her cheek while she looks to him as he smiled to her. He didn't want to leave her but Kinie held his hand only for him to kiss her forehead again.

"Have safe travels my princess........be sure you take care of yourself.." he said gently to her but she only looks to him but only gently nod before he lets her go to smile then turns to start leaving. Kinie looks at him leaving but she closed her hand in a fist. Looking to him, she sighed then looks to the plane gate heading over. She did show the tickets to the other who nods, allowing her to board the plane. When she was walking, Kinie was silent.

'I will return my king. I'm not leaving you alone..I won't be gone long..I promise....' she thought while walking. Within a while, Sukuna was back to his car but as he did, he saw and heard one of the planes taking off. It seems it was the one KInie was on. He sees it heading off to her home but he sighed to look while getting in the car. The driver shuts the door but gets back in the driver's seat to drive on home.

Sukuna looks at the window but he will miss his princess but he knew she had to go home. "I'll miss you kinie..." he mutters softly to himself but he didn't know she will be back. Just for a little while. For now, he heads home.

He got back during the evening and yet he was heading inside his home. It seems a lot more quiet now but it was fine. He had his followers still while he was walking in. He saw his followers welcome him home but he nods only to head up. He got ready for bed and was ready for the next day later as he was reading something. Even now, he looks to the window seeing the night sky thinking about his princess.

'I hope you got home safe Kinie.........' he thought but he would be ready for bed later on tonight. For now, he was going to stay up just a bit longer before he would sleep himself.

What other fears do they have?

This kinda ties to her feelings of not being good enough, but yes being ignored or left behind is something that makes her struggle. She tries to help and be friendly, but sometimes she is in a situation where people simply leave when they get what they want from her. It hurts her deeply.

Why do they have these fears? Are these fears innate, trauma-based, or generational?

Hmm, I would say its something that started at a young age. Being an only child she always strived to impress her mother and try to appeal to her as much as possible. Which in most cases did not turn out so well, she had plenty of love from her father but as a young child she craved that motherly love she read in books or saw in parks when other kids had their mother praise them and cherish them.

Have they ever tried to work through or confront these fears? How did it go?

She is trying her best at the moment, hasn't faced her mother in years but she is trying to work on herself. The insecurities are still there, however, she is doing her best to surround herself with people who will value her, and be more cautious to whom she offers her trust and care....in end she is trying to accept life as it comes.

WELL. i more so do picture it in their mindscape rather than in actual reality. they're more like interacting in their soul / head. which is quite funny 'cos i've always had them interact like that and then tek8 is pretty much confirming that is indeed canon because a stage will actually be set in jin's mind. yes, you'll be able to fight in jin's mind instead of a denny's parking lot. this is the GREATEST fighting game franchise ever.

this is how i picture it - in the game, they show them both being physical and interacting with each other from within.

thoooo... the (albeit noncanon) comic does show that jin has a habit of talking to himself like he's crazy whenever dj speaks to him.

so uh. usually when i write those interactions (or "shenanigans") - it's intended for them to be interacting from within. usually just so i can showcase more of their personal interactions and develop their relationship. as well... they're always together, therefore, they always interact with each other in some way. however, if another muse does want to intervene, mun can interpret it as jin talking to himself if they do so please.

Is it you’re first time writing an oc x s/o?

Mun: Hi, thanks for your request! It is the first request with an s/o, yes. I have written a few unrelated reactions in the past, and there are some Scarlett x gn!s/o scenarios with a similar format in the Yandere Au (Don't worry, this won't be as dark LOL). But I'm totally okay with getting requests like these!

When it comes to someone who is shy but clearly trusts Scarlett more than others, her protective side will flare up instantly. If she grows to love someone, she wants to see them happy and comfortable by her side, regardless of their personality.

Scarlett is quite extraverted, so she enjoys going out for dates and hanging out with people. However, if her s/o doesn’t feel comfortable in such scenarios, she would be willing to adapt the plans for both of them to have a good time. For example, if they go out they would be in a less crowded place, maybe sitting together in an isolated spot of a big park, going to a library or somewhere else quiet, or just walking around as she talks or ask them questions.

She likes to talk and won’t mind doing the talking or making the decisions in social situations, but she would also try to make them speak up more to possibly overcome that anxiety little by little.

“This place is lovely, isn’t it?” Scarlett asked them after talking for a while, as they walked together through the park during the evening. The place was lit up, the sky still had some purple-ish hues as the sun was hiding; crickets were out and few people were passing by here and there. While it wasn't super noisy and crowded, it still had some life.

To answer her question, they simply nodded with a brief ‘mhm’ that she caught right on time. They were holding her hand firmly and kept the other one close to their body; even though they seemed interested at times, they also looked uneasy.

“We should go to a café someday,” she suggested, “I know a few places that have delicious treats and coffee. Would you like that?”

Same response, but a little more delayed. After a while dating them, though, Scarlett learned that the slight delay meant hesitation, usually not as positive of an answer as it appeared to be at first.

“Cats or dogs?” she suddenly inquired, her eyes fixed ahead. She intended to catch them off guard by giving no context with her harmless question, while also preventing them from a yes/no answer.

It seemed to work enough to make it hard for them to formulate any coherent word, only repeating ‘uhm’s trying to understand what she meant, fearing they would make her wait too much and what if they liked birds more...? ...although, they struggled for less time than they thought they were, and Scarlett soon let out a chuckle and stopped walking, “are you good?”

They now wouldn’t look at her, which made her glance soften, “hey,” she called, kissing their nose when they looked in her direction again, “no one is looking at you, just me. It is not that big of a deal, so… words, please?”

After a short moment of fidgeting, looking down with their face feeling warm, they managed to give a low, soft-voiced, slightly insecure answer: ‘cats?’ And that alone made Scarlett smile widely, before giving them another kiss, this time on their forehead.

“Perfect! Cat café it is,” she held their hand and resumed walking, practically dragging them out of the park.

In no time, she noticed how much more anxious they were starting to get, as it was to be expected, “calm down, baby. I won’t take you there now. Or tomorrow. Or the day after. Not anytime soon, I don’t want you to have a heart attack…”

Looking into their direction again, she squeezed their hand with a smile, “we will go home now, okay? One word is better than no words, you did well. I still want to hear your voice more when we go out, not just at home… Well, we have all the time in the world for that,” she booped their nose with hers, taking advantage of the proximity to whisper, “Someday in the future maybe you will get to invite me on a date. Where? To a cat café, of course. It’s decided!” Joyful, she swung their arms as they began to make their way home, “Fufu~ I know you will come to realize that people can’t bite you any harder than me,” She chuckled, fangs briefly poking out before she let out a sigh, “...I won’t let anyone hurt you, dear. Rest assured.”

Answer from Mun: I won't go on to disclose my actual name (since we are on the internet after all), but I usually go by the nickname that's the shortened, cute form of my name: Sabi (sometimes with the variation of Saby with the "y" at the end because it adds a little something extra to it).

Answer from Mun: She/her.

Answer from Mun: 22 years and 9 months old. I'll be turning 23 this October.

Answer from Mun: I'm a Libra. Should've been a Scorpio, but my doctor decided it was a better idea for me to be born one week earlier than the original due date.

Answer from Mun: I guess something chill, classic, cute and zen. I usually gravitate towards pastel colors when formatting/editing stuff, because I find them more easy on the eye and pleasing to look at and I do incorporate a lot of cutesy and 'kawaii' elements into my things, so that's something too.

Answer from Mun: Drawing and coloring, listening to music, watching shows and movies, reading, going out for walks and chit-chatting with my friends.

Answer from Mun: 4 including my native language. In terms of foreign languages, I can speak English fluently and partly French (since I studied both of these during my formative school years, but French didn't really stuck much with me) and aside from these two, I know a bit of Japanese too (studied like 1 year of it in middle school as an optional class).

Answer from Mun: I've been roleplaying online since age 11 (okay, the first time I ever RP-ed I didn't even know that's what it was called, but I enjoyed writing stories with my friends on one of these gaming sites for kids and it stuck with me). So it'll be 12 years this year since I've started roleplaying.

Answer from Mun: My favorite music genres are pop and rock and I've had many favorite bands over the years: One Direction, Linkin Park, Evanescence, Green Day and Three Days Grace and now more recently I've got into Black Pink, BTS and Stray kidz (expanding my horizons to the beautiful world of k-pop).

Answer from Mun: I don't have a favorite food, but I do enjoy pizza and pasta a lot.

Answer from Mun: Probably New Zeeland. It has some of the most variety in landscapes of all sorts and it was the place where the LOTR and Hobbit sagas were filmed (to give you an idea of how vast its geographic variety is, so you wouldn't get bored easily).

Answer from Mun: When I was little, my celebrity crush was Johnny Deep. But now as an adult I don't really have any celebrity crushes.

Second post of this series but the first to talk about a member of the RED team.

Given that we have the video of Meet the Sniper and some comics as well as fun facts on trading cards from canon, and my own headcanons, I will combine the two into one hopefully cohesive story that could be a good backstory for Mick Mundy.

The story under Read More and spoilers for the Mann vs. Machine comics if you are interested in reading those.

TW: Animal death

Mick Mundy, or Mun-dee as he was originally named by his New Zealand parents, grew up in the Australian desert with some proximity to the bush, where he and his father would sometimes go to hunt for animals so his mom had something to cook. Mick also had a family Dog, a female beagle named Brave that his mother found in the city as a young woman, and the dog would not only follow Mick to the bush with his father to collect animals but whenever Mick went exploring anywhere outside of the family home, making sure he didn't leave the property without his parents and acting aggressively when Mick would go out at sunset.

Australia had its fair share of legends and strange occurrences, but the way Brave would act made it seem like something was out there to get the family and she saw herself as a guard dog, even if Mr. Mundy would argue with his wife over and over that "the stupid dog" was acting out due to being in heat, even if Ms. Mundy would tell him over and over that she was spayed and moreover, Brave seemed to be always looking at one spot far away in the distance, where a lone spot full of trees and plant life lived, isolated from the bush, it felt unnatural but no one gave it mind, no one except Brave and Mick.

One night, Mick took his bike outside and pedaled to the isolated forest, not knowing that he had woke up Brave, who later woke up his parents with her excessive barking, who called the authorities once they realized their son was missing, and Brave, being the stubborn dog that never listened to the father of the family, took off at full speed to look for the young boy.

Mick arrived at the forest and realized that his dog might have been onto something, for the trees, the water, and even the animals, were all fake, they were cardboard cutouts with audio recorders glued to them to mimic the sounds of nature. Whoever did this, was hiding something, and would probably not hesitate to hurt Mick's family.

Further into the forest was an odd structure, a small cabin that had a single door, opening that revealed that what was outside did not match the inside. The cabin outside was a mere mask that hid a huge storage facility with various unknown creatures he had never seen unless you counted books of the local folklore.

There were Kangaroos with man-like features, a pale man chewing on a skull, chimps the size of a human adult, skeleton birds, shark men, and many other creatures. From the end of the hallway, Mick saw a tall and muscular figure talking on the phone, he hid somewhere high in altitude and watched the man talk on the phone, the words were hard to make out but he seemed to be speaking of a new deal about a Halloween themed park where people could not only see but fight those creatures with their bare hands.

That was when he saw his beloved dog enter the facility and one of the creatures got aggressive and managed to get out of their cell, the muscular man tried to fight them off but instead of hitting the mutated Kangaroo, he landed his fists on Brave by accident.

Mick screams in horror when he sees his beloved dog hit the floor in a pool of her own blood, and he takes action in his own hands, he grabs some rusty nails and hides somewhere to get a good hit on the monster, he remembers his father's words when the two went hunting,

"Don't make a sound or move a muscle, make yourself blend with your environment, and once you have a clear view of their head...Shoot"

Once that view came into his sight, he shot the nail directly in between the monster's eyes, killing it instantly.

The man saw what he did and congratulated the boy, but Mik ignored him and simply walked up to his dog's corpse, the one trying to protect him and he simply got too stubborn and let her die.

Bilious Hale, the large man, walked the boy out with his dog to the Mundy's residence, with money for the damages caused. Mick was too distraught to pay attention to what his parents were screaming at the man, he simply walked to their backyard and buried Brave near a flower bed.

From that point on, Mick stopped hunting animals with his father, who resorted to farming as the main source of food and getting meat from the market for him and his wife, as Mick decided to become a vegetarian. Not only that but, Mr. Hale commented on how well Mick shot the Manngoroo, adding that he should think about that as a career, so Mick trained under one of Hale's men to learn how to be a proper sniper once he turned 18, lying to his parents that he was a doctor and that he was going to medical school, a lie he keeps trying to keep up till this day at 28.

pretty fun, i've seen those! i think how they can work is the muns take turns replying to the thread in the same order every time minus plotted moments (at least on tumblr)?

this is interesting! basically i'm a canon typical violence(tm) writer, trying to fit the mood of whatever moment/verse the thread is in! like my "angst has to be meaningful" philosophy ways, any violence would have serve some purpose, even if it's a little purpose, as long as it's not there just for the sake of it.

and now i just remembered how i made jude get shot and ambiguously die in my bad!end drabble DKJFLKJK he hates me just to show how dire things have gotten for him (i guess that means that verse is rated M now. it's a tad darker than x2... and that's ok because he's a badass in it).

speaking of that M rating! i can similarly see myself writing typical horror violence stuff for jude, because that could be fun not for him (e.g. tone/intensity levels similar to games like fatal frame, higurashi, the last of us) but i probably wouldn't get into the extreme details of said violent stuff unless it was super necessary or something. some stuff is better left to the imagination for sure.

in terms of violence during fight scenes, canon typical violence stuff is again my benchmark! i've done the my muse and your muse vs npc fight scenes which is fun, but i don't really have experience with the 1v1 my muse vs your muse in the parking lot type but i'd only feel inclined if the details were plotted beforehand (e.g. knowing the conclusion/set direction of the thread) and if the fight in said thread/scene held some narrative weight.

basically i'm way more interested in the emotional tone/importance of an action scene (plus the impact of it later) rather than just writing it to focus on the technical details of the fight of who would win etc. to me, the latter is just a vehicle to make the whole thing come togetherー it's important, but incomplete without the whole 'why' part. because then it'd feel a lot less like writing out a smash bros match rather than just playing it (i think that's my weirdest metaphor yet LMAOO) personal preference strikes again though!

i've somewhat(?) properly gushed about him here and related it to writing so if your name is Lin you're no stranger to me saying things about Jude UMM i'll just talk about his hair LMAOO

the beautiful and subtle asymmetry of his hair in x1 especially that slightly longer piece of hair off to the side of his head here. is it underrated or does everyone love that part, i have no idea sldjflsdkf but he really doesn't sport the super generic flat mc hair, it's just a little wavy/longer at the back! the non-wild/cute and round hair look suits his quieter personality here too T_T plus he's so cute bYE

his extremely amazing hair in x2. described aptly. this coupled with his new outfit = i now have an entirely different concept of "one year timeskip" i remember thinking at first "WAIT THAT'S HIM? NO WAY... idk... let me think about this..." but now he makes me faint so. who won here. it suits him bc he's even more mature, and his character design changed so much but in the best way i think. i'm so glad this version of him exists LMAOO good job x2 for all your faults and amazing moments
