Lost in his own thoughts as thought over his current assignment. Walking along, didn't take long for his brain to register the trio and not too hard to justify interfering. As long he wasn't visible it was pretty easy with just a few specific impacts.
First one to deal with obviously being the one with the weapon. Would be the hardest to deal with if he was anybody else. But his brain supplied nerve endings, pressure points that would handle the circumstances with ease. As he also sized up the other two; calculations far more natural than breathing to him.
It took longer than usual, but eventually she made her way home. All she did was dry off and curl up in bed, mind still whirling around the incident. After that Rose stopped going to the waterfalls for a few years. When she went back, the only changes due to the passage of time were the plants.
That didn't stop her from venturing outside the wards during her free time. Although, the near death experience probably should have taught her not to go places she shouldn't. Rose wandered out past the treeline where she found a large area of open space. The grass began turning a dull shade of yellow weeks ago, but it still felt pleasant under her feet as she walked further. The autumn breeze felt nice against her skin.
That feeling of calm was later replaced by dread when she crossed paths with a menacing trio while on the way home. She couldn't just transport home considering she'd take the one with the blade pressed threateningly against her throat. Doing that might have revealed where she lived.

Given how his associating people with things works, I feel he's certainly got seasons connected to people (don't have to have a birthday, or correlate and often doesn't) and it's near always some sort of you remind me of the sun through the fall leaves type of thing

"Yes otherwise they are quite noticeably present." Tucking hands away into his jacket pockets. "It's fine perfectly normal reaction to an unknown circumstance."
"oh... you can make them invisible " he says sniffing at the other again as he moved around. "I'm sorry I growled at you... i was scared, didn't know what you were" he says sitting in front of the other

"Maybe, though it really varies by person though too so hardly the most quantifiable thing regardless." One which he really had no personal stakes in; sure knew what forgetting could be but he sure didn't relate. Just limitless space, so many unimportant things alongside vital knowledge inside his own brain. "It's Nix and you are?"
" I don't think that's how forgetting works, silly. People forget important things all the time. Like their names or where they left their keys or... their head if it wasn't attached to their bodies. Sometimes they even forget themselves, " The words poured from her lips, spilling forth into a messy pile at both of their feet.
" Name? Give it. "

Trash of the bandage, everything shoved in and trying to think of an excuse. Yet probably better to not argue it too much; taking the sketchbook and taking care to tuck it back in before zipping it up. "Genetic conditions make me a night owl unfortunately." Quite the understatement but was one of the better ways he explained it to others. "Alright, I won't- hardly have much a case to make. Though head wounds do bleed an stupid amount excessively due to location. So it does seem worst than it is."
"Bullshit, that plaster isn't going to do nothing. C'mere." All men were the same. They had the same stupid pride, the same prickly pear act that they loved to doll out when trying to hide their feelings, even when wounded they'd try to make an open sore into a mere pinprick.

Debbie wasted no time in striding over, the first thing she notices is the sketchbook laying forlornly on the ground. She handed it to him, but not without scrutiny.
"It's pretty late to be out here, especially for a student." For, that is the way she perceived him to be and anyway, he looked terrible. Those baggy eyes were doing him no favours. "Let me fix you up. That injury is going to need cleaning. Don't argue with me, young man. I won't have it."

"All that is easy to wash, it's alright- can wash it along with your clothes in the morning." Laying on his back, legs fully stretched and arm tucked under his head. Probably most people would be a bit bothered but he really didn't care that much. "Everything is okey dokie."
"You rock times two." She hummed while he inserted the DVD. Rose felt some more of the fear ebbing now that she was lying down with one of her favorite movies about to play. His presence aided significantly with the feeling of safety she had in his room. "No, no snacks. Sorry about the blood. I definitely should've stripped, and probably showered, before getting in your bed."
All she'd been thinking about was how good it would feel to be in bed. She just hoped focusing on the movie would keep her awake.

Tapping on their hands ever so gently. In forewarning instead of just outright grabbing them with his own. Plus asking with his facial expression as waited for the green light. Letting his hand just rest in the air idly for the moment.

Thinking the question over, given it wasn't an clear cut answer that came to mind. Before responding after a few minutes, "Not everything I can do is unique to me; but an fair amount is and yes but I'm on the fence about if it fits."
“So you’re the only one - the only one who has your abilities, the only one that can do what you can do? Do you know who - or what you are? Is there a name for it?” Normally, Jennsen wouldn’t be so forward, she wouldn’t ask so many questions. But now she was genuinely starting to think that there was someone else like her. Not exactly like her - apparently the pristinely ungifted were only born once every generation or so - but someone else who was completely unique in who and what they were. Although, he at least could protect himself (assuming anyone else even knew his secret and he needed to), whereas she could not and the target on her back seemed to be growing with every passing day.

Me thinking over all the varied "niche" emotions he's gone through at different intensities and how often he'll use the physical ones as measurement casually but he's not as often like "this is an about falling out of love with the feeling of comfort on the measurement scale" verbally

"They aren't out or visible right now; I don't let people see them." Fingers carding through his hair and stretching on realizing he hadn't really done so in a while. So the muscles were an bit tense, rather not have them cramp up.

Walking along, his focus was on readjusting the sheath and making sure his blade was secure. At least until an familiar face caught his attention. Curious slight tilt of his head as watched while his hands finished the task he'd been focused on.
She started to push herself up in order to stand and had to stop to cough more. Yeah, drowning wasn't something she ever wanted to try again. Rose eventually made it to her feet and swayed at first. It took half an hour in total before she began her short journey back to the commune.

Quiet, patiently listening and slight amusement at the displaying of the three fingers. It was the type of behavior he knew how to exist around best after all. "Was just advising caution up to you from there how to handle it. And if you forgot it, it probably wasn't important."
Not opting to comment on the second point because he really didn't care about it.

“ First point, I didn’t ask for your opinion. Second point, you have a stupid face. Third point, I …. I might have forgotten my third point, but it was important. “ Was she rude? Absolutely. Was she aware of how terrible she truly was? Also absolutely.
She counted off her reasons for her annoyance on her fingers before displaying the three digits for him. A smug look danced across her face before being replaced with a look of absolutely nothing.

Few rapid blinks at the question mostly as it caught him off guard. "Yeah it's neat, obviously I know nothing about photography but find it cool and your stuff is memorable."

"That's quite the question... I don't really know? You're cool, hot and I like you but that hardly narrows it down.... I really suck with pinpointing that sort of thing."
