I’m really sleepy today so have some sleepy matsu headcanons:
Osomatsu
- One hand usually on his stomach as he’s sleeping. He tends to scratch it when he wakes up.
- Lays on his back with an arm above his head
- Worst bed head in the morning
Karamatsu
- Side sleeper, his hands are usually near by his face in some way
- Does gently snore, sometimes comes out as a tiny groan
- Scratchy voice in the morning
Choromatsu
- Switches between side sleeping and back sleeping, whatever can get him most situated
- Tucks an arm under his pillow for added comfort
- Has to be careful when he wakes up and rubs the tired out of his eyes, they’re very sensitive
Ichimatsu
- Prefers to sleep on his stomach with his arms crossed under his pillow
- Has trouble falling asleep sometimes, and has come up with a few teas and warm sleepy time drinks to help
- Last one to get out of bed
Jyushimatsu
- A wiggleworm in his sleep, he rests in all the positions
- Likes being warm at night so he’ll wear extra layers during the winter
- First one to wake up about 95% of the time (and he’s loud about it)
Todomatsu
- Side sleeper as well, though he prefers to sleep hugging a pillow or something soft.
- Listens to some form of rain, ASMR or soft music in his earbuds to help him stay asleep
- Needs at least 15 minutes after he wakes up before wanting to talk to anyone

Heads up! Below is gonna be some nsfw stuff if you couldn't tell by the title, if that's not your vibe, skip this! Read some of my other stuff! Maybe even suggest me something to write about!
Osomatsu would be up to it iiiiif you made a bet with him or offered him something. After all, it's "fucking gay to be pegged" as he would say but 50 bucks is 50 bucks. However he would become an absolute bottom bitch for 50 bucks, not realizing that he actually really likes it until it happens.
Your boy Karamatsu would let it happen, he would let you peg him but you'd have to get him like the flashiest but also most "manly" strap on ever. He actually is a little indifferent to it, it doesn't feel bad to him, but it's not necessarily something he prefers though. But if it's something you like, then he'll do it to make you happy... Also it does end up feeling good after a little.
Choromatsu is absolutely against it, he will absolutely dump you if you even try to peg him. Now the big reason why he doesn't want you to peg him is because it's "unmanly", but the real reason why is because he doesn't really want to become a butt-slut, but it's obvious that he's already a butt-slut.
Ichimatsu refuses to even consider the idea. He is open minded to all things, but he's had a fear of things in his ass ever since ESP kitty. Maybe some day in the distant future if you really comfort him, he might let you finger him, but pegging is just too big of an ask for him. He wouldn't enjoy it either, it's just not for him.
Jyushimatsu would be open to it! It's not his first choice but he wouldn't completely turn you down either. He ends up liking it way more than expected and will often hint at doing it with you, it's become basically a way to motivate him. He does something good, he can get pegged if that's what he wants, it also just gets you guys closer and can be intimate.
Todomatsu is the one who BEGS you to peg him when you guys are alone. He's always been into the idea but you're the only person he trusts with that knowledge. Obviously he loves it and begs often, but you didn't expect how badly he would like it until you basically had him begging and screaming for you to fuck his brains out.

Osomatsu and Big Brother Syndrome (analysis of character)
Perhaps this is the Matsu who is most afraid of growing up, who wants his carefree life with his brothers to never change. In a sense, HE is one of the reasons why NEET boys are still stuck at the bottom of the social hole, because he is the leader followed by his brothers, and it is his position that influences the rest.
Why exactly the brothers became NEET is a multi-faceted topic for analysis that combines several social and psychological factors, and I will focus on Osomatsu in my essay. Here I will touch on the topic of how the role of an older brother affected him.
To complete the research, of course I should watch Osomatsu-kun, but I will go from what I know.
So, the main problem lies in the model of raising sixteens chosen by the parents. They are all the same age, the difference in the order of their birth is several minutes, from birth they are equal to each other. It was an extremely strange decision to attach importance to their seniority and build their upbringing on this, so a clear hierarchy inevitably formed between them, with Osomatsu at the head.
Many of those who have younger brothers and sisters are familiar with what it's like to suddenly have a responsibility that you didn't want or ask for (I'm one of them too). In the case of Osomatsu, this seems doubly unfair, because they are gearheads, where the division into seniors and juniors is simply ridiculous.
Childhood is that bright time of our life, where we have no worries, there is nothing to worry about, because there are adults who take care of you and solve your problems. The child does not have this burden of adult life and they can enjoy their time without unnecessary worries.
For parents, the eldest child becomes a kind of substitute for their parents, their little “adult” assistant, he has not yet learned to be responsible for himself, but he should already be responsible for someone else, and no one asks his opinion “you are now the eldest ". As a result, we get a person endowed with the responsibility of an adult, but deprived of the privileges inherent in adults; they are still subject to childhood restrictions.
In the case of Osomatsu, he is the eldest by default at the start. He was deprived of the privileges of a child, the right to be carefree and free from the burden of responsibility.
Throughout the series, he asked a reasonable question: “why the hell am I the eldest, we are sextuplets, we are all the same age!” and it’s hard to disagree with this.
He also repeatedly stated his desire to be an only child, because he lived in constant competition with his brothers; if he were the only one, there would be no competition.
Due to early independence and lack of attention to him as a child from his parents, he had problems with self-determination, and as a result, difficulties in finding his place in life.
On the one hand, he takes on the role of an elder, and on the other hand, he wants to escape from this, tightly clinging to his right to remain a child, which they tried to take away from him. As a result, he was mired in lifelong stagnation.

• not one to mask much and is often very blunt, has been told he's rude way too many times but he doesn't really care tbh, he's just being honest
• has a VERY hard time expressing his emotions, either turns it into anger and lashes out or just goes nonverbal
• doesn't like to be alone with his thoughts so he finds lots of ways to distract himself (though he has bad coping methods and often turns to addictive pastimes like gambling and drinking)

💙KARAMATSU:
• a lot of masking but he's not very good at it tbh
• has a good amount of scripts but fumbles through them or goes nonverbal before even approaching someone and ends up missing out on a potential conversation
• socially anxious but tries desperately to pretend he's not ✨
• wears sunglasses to avoid eye contact and also bc he doesn't want people reading him too deeply, he's sensitive so his emotions are often on full display even when he tries to hide them
• PEOPLE PLEASER, will definitely mold his personality/manner of speech to match the person he's with
• stims: putting on and taking off his sunglasses, he also likes sequined clothing bc he likes to run his fingers and nails along them
• special interests: fashion & making clothes, music
💚CHOROMATSU:
• takes his diagnosis/discovery hard at first, doesn't like having something "wrong" with him
• he feels better about it once he realizes "oh THAT'S why i do that/feel that way" and can learn better ways to cope and accommodate (for both himself and his brothers)
• likes to be prepared and has a LOT of scripts but often stutters through them
• socially anxious and gets stressed easily
• often indulges in escapism as a coping method, with a hyperfocus on idols and anime
• probably has like a repertoire of safe foods bc textures 🤢
• stims: FLAPPY HANDS, a lot of hand fidgets like playing with his zipper/hoodie strings when nervous, dermatillomania, also vocal stims like humming & echolalia, and wiggling/rocking

💜ICHIMATSU:

• another socially anxious brother, doesn't really focus on making scripts bc he's not one to approach people so the conversations he does have are often awkward

• also another brother who has a hard time expressing emotions, he often bottles things up until he hits a breaking point

• doesn't use scripts much either, just talks about whatever, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't
• used to mask in high school but stopped, his happy face might be a mask too but he seems a lot more comfortable like that so maybe not

Tougou episode all endings
Normal Ending: Tougou tries to get revenge and gets his ass beat
Neutral Ending: Tougou takes revenge on Chibita and gets beat up.
Sad Ending: Osomatsu falls in despair from the mere sight of Tougou who has gotten on with his life and goes through a existential crisis.
Surprising Ending: Tougou comes to congrat Jyushimatsu for his relationship with Homura.
Good Ending: After prison, Tougou let go of his grudge and makes amends to those he hurt
Bad Ending: The Matsunos jumps Tougou and he gets them arrested
Cursed Ending: Osomatsu runs into Tougou in an alley. Tougou procedes to do the default dance.
??? Ending: Literally every character ever named Tougou comes to the Matsuno residence. This episode ends up being banned
Bruh Ending: Tougou forgot what an Osomatsu even is.
True Ending: Tougou appears in the background for 45 seconds. He's never brought up again.
Opposite Ending: Actually, The Matsunos want to revengemurder Tougou. Tougou is just trying to live a peaceful life

Jyushi- He can handle fucking everything, any spice level, fucking all of it, sure, he cries and bursts into flames, but he likes it, he's one of those guys who lives for the burn
Oso- He's pretty up there with the heat, nowhere near Jyushi, he likes the heat, but the moment it becomes TOO much, all he does is fucking complain and whine about it

You ever think maybe Karamatsu knows what he wears is ugly, or stuff he does is cringe, but he just doesn't care cause it makes him happy? Cause by all means, Karamatsu isn't stupid, he's dumb, but he's not stupid, and if a woman told him not to do that stuff he'd take it to heart most likely, but he doesn't want to change because it makes him happy.
He's literally the definition of cringe but free because no matter how much he gets teased or hated on, it gives him personal fulfillment, and that is his life goal it seems.

Karamatsu is not narcissus (analisis of character part 2)
Assuming that Karamatsu's behavior is not entirely a game, then we can assume that he really does have a personality disorder, namely...
Histrionic personality disorder.
This is where the interesting part comes in and why Karamatsu is considered a narcissist when in truth he is not.
The fact is that HRD has similar features to NRD, but has a number of significant differences. The term “narcissist” is much better known than “hysteric”, hence the confusion.
As in the case of NPD, a person’s main need is to always be the center of attention, the personality is also self-centered, however, for a hysteric, receiving attention from others is an end in itself. The narcissist, on the contrary, attracts attention to himself in order to demonstrate his superiority.
The next obvious difference is the absence of problems with empathy. Narcissists can show it, but only externally; internally they are not capable of compassion.
So, who are the hysterics? These are very extravagant, bright personalities who strive to attract attention to themselves in every available way. Moreover, attention can be different from love and admiration to anger and disgust; they will be happy with anything as long as they are noticed. When they are not noticed or ignored it causes discomfort.
Features of behavior. In speech and behavior they are similar to theater actors, they are prone to vivid displays of emotions, their speech is dramatic and, as a rule, figurative, impressionistic, grandiose, but at the same time not specific and contentless. The intonation of the voice is also dramatic, the voice can be comically cartoonish, childish or seductive.
His outrageous behavior most of the time irritates Ichimatsu in particular, while the others try to ignore him. In fact, Ichi reacts more than others to his ridiculous phrases and antics, despite the fact that he expresses this through anger and irritation, but this is still the attention that Karamatsu desperately needs.
Also, the main way to stand out from the crowd is appearance. They choose bright, extravagant, revealing outfits that often border on absurdity. Let's remember his T-shirts with his own face, shiny pants and boots, short shorts and cowboy hats, sunglasses that he wears even at night.
For narcissists, being ridiculous, funny and stupid in the eyes of others is humiliating and like death.
Causes of HRD. Lack or complete absence of attention in childhood and adolescence.
Karamatsu is from a large family in which he could not get enough love and attention from his parents, in high school he was a lonely, quiet child whom no one noticed, he had no friends, which also left a mark on his mind and brought him to creating your dramatic self.
If we briefly compare these two personality types, narcissists are vain, arrogant people who consider themselves to be among the elite, hysterics are clowns who are not ashamed of being clowns.
I'm more inclined to think that he's just pretending. With my analysis I wanted to prove that even pretending Karamatsu does not behave like a real narcissist.

My headcanon for Homura is that she has a lot of body insecurity due to her past, and also has a lot of difficulty receiving compliments and understanding when someone really likes her for her personality and not just her body
I think Jyushi would help her a lot with these issues, he would always reassure her that she is amazing and that her beauty is much more than just her exterior (so I'm going to make a petition for the two to get back together/j)

How would each Matsu propose to their long-term S/O? 👀
Figure I may as well start this re-opening off with a classic! And something I've actually thought about quite a bit...
Osomatsu
I always imagined that Osomatsu would want his proposal to be... Whenever it felt right, casual, spur of the moment, but probably something he had mulled over in his brain for awhile without saying anything out loud about it. I think the most romantic thing in his eyes is when people in a relationship can just say how they're feeling in the moment, without fear of judgement, so the idea of him just suddenly proposing in a convenience store, at his house, in the rain, just... Off the cuff... That seems fitting for him. And it's not because he doesn't care, it's just that his love language is honesty, 100%.
He wants to know he can tell you whatever's on his mind and still have things work out. Sure, it wouldn't be very flashy or rehearsed, but it'd be him. And I think that's what he values most with scenarios like this. It's something he would just... Ask. Casually. With a smile. Any time, any place.
Karamatsu
Karamatsu is the opposite of Osomatsu. For him, a proposal should be a grand gesture, something flashy and extravagant, something where he had made it clear he had spent the last 4 or 5 months working on it. He'd want something magnificent, something spectacular... A candlelit dinner for two at your favorite place, renting the whole restaurant or park or whatever to yourselves. Going on a really long speech/tangent about how much you mean to him, the getting on one knee, the opening the box, live music, maybe even a song by him, rose petals everywhere, doves carrying in flowers... At least that's how he likes to imagine it.
I could also see him working really hard on all of this, and then it ending up messing up somehow and him being devastated, only to realize what really mattered was that his partner was happy just hearing something from his heart... Even without the theatrics... He'd probably cry, and then give an even more heartfelt proposal, a more intimate one.
Choromatsu
Choromatsu as stated is pretty "traditional" in his sensibilities. I could see him proposing in a park or somewhere with a nice view, and of course he would make sure to rehearse all of his lines and present you with a very sensible and standard ring. Of course, even with all that rehearsal, he'd be terrible at hiding what he was planning. He'd be even more stuttery and nervous than usual, even more tense and jumpy, sweating up a storm, his face beet red, his words jumbled. He'd probably dress himself up in his classic blue suit, offer to take you on a picnic somewhere secluded with a nice view, and then try to propose there by getting on his knee ect.
Though it'd be pretty obvious what he was up to before the date even started... Especially with all the fumbling with the ring box he'd be doing whenever he thought you weren't looking, making sure it was still there, ect. His voice would keep cracking as well, he'd just sort of be all over the place in a mix of excitement and nerves.
Ichimatsu
Ichimatsu is... Complicated. He has a LOT of self-doubt, so doing something like trying to propose would probably be one of the biggest hurdles for him he'd ever have to face in his life. The potential of rejection, having to make such an incredibly important decision, the PRESSURE... I feel like he'd try to avoid proposing for as long as he could, even if he truly wanted to get married, just because the idea of proposing would psyche him out that badly. Ideally, his partner would be the one to propose to him, as this is something he'd really struggle with, but if it did end up having to be him, he'd probably do a more... Erratic version of what Osomatsu does.
You both happen to be somewhere secluded and he's acting like he's ill, and you keep asking if he's fine and he keeps nodding but there's clearly something wrong until eventually he just blurts out, "DOYOUWANNAGETMARRIED?!" in an almost pained shriek before immediately passing out.
Jyushimatsu
Jyushimatsu is pretty unconventional with most things he does, but I think he'd take proposing pretty seriously. I keep remembering how he confessed his love intensely and seriously in that one episode, and I feel like it'd be the same case for a proposal. Like you would both be having a nice time, having fun outside, doing your favorite things to do together as a couple... But then slowly things start to wind down, and Jyushi starts acting more introspective and speaking in a more "normal" tone, he even closes his mouth sometimes as he looks out at the pond, or wherever you two are.
There's a long moment of silence, but it's not an awkward one, it's a comfortable one... Before he turns to you, says your name, and then slowly gets on one knee, banging out his proposal like a pro, his voice calm and quiet, though maybe the tiniest hint of weepiness. I think this is something he would take pretty seriously, and would want to make it clear how serious he was.
Todomatsu
As stated, Totty is like Choro in that he likes when things are traditional but in a more modern sense. You don't have to worry about any flash mob proposals because he's clearly not a fan of the trend, but I can't help imagining him proposing in a way that fit a specific "aesthetic" and "theme". For example, I could see him going someplace to eat with you that was still somewhat secluded with like trendy foods and things, low lighting, cafe jazz playing on the speakers...
He'd probably start out the date pretty normally, talking about what he usually does with you before slowly starting to sprinkle in some more "serious" relationship topics/conversations. Maybe making little mentions of "it'd be so nice if we could move to [blank]" or "wouldn't that be great? to travel the world together?", very committal stuff. Then, once he was done with the food and conversation, he'd probably be like "... Can I ask you something?" and then pull the ring out from his bag or pocket while still sitting across from you. He tries to make it a mix of casual, romantic, and low-key I feel.
