( making a new post because traction is slowing down and i still very much need help ) the full story is in this post , but TLDR – i lost my job because my manager would no longer accommodate my disability . i’ve been super stressed ever since which is causing even more fibro flareups and that makes doing anything absolutely miserable . i’m looking for another job willing to accommodate me , but the two interviews i’ve been to haven’t exactly gone well . i’m still trying though ;;

in the meantime , i really need some help . i have a long list of things that i absolutely need , another TLDR – appointment copays , medicine + supplies , groceries , gas , and car insurance . all together it adds up to $500 - $600 just for a month of me doing the bare minimum to survive . please consider throwing a few dollars my way or requesting a commission ! a little bit goes a long way and makes more of a difference than you even know . if you can't help monetarily , please consider boosting this post so others who may be able to help monetarily will see it . thank you for reading !!!

ok hey i had to go to urgent care earlier today. had blood drawn and all that. and it's a new month, so new post, mostly same goals.

i'm a disabled e asian lesbian who moved out of an abusive household last year and went no contact with family this past january. contracting covid last year triggered a progression of me/cfs symptoms that i'd been experiencing long before that. i can't work and even daily tasks like preparing food for myself is incredibly challenging and fatiguing. this makes it hard to do anything substantial to improve my situation.

needless to say, i gotta get all that checked out. i also need to start planning to move to wheelchair accessible housing. none of this is doable without sufficient funds saved up.

rent is $600 each month, due the 3rd of the next month. i am still $200 short for the rent that's due on May 3rd. i need $800 total.

i never meet my monthly goals within the same month i post them, and so i don't dare expect to surpass them. if that does happen, it'll be put towards medical care, new mobility aids, and relocation.

i read all of the denki mystery stories in a frenzy a few weeks ago and have been stewing on kiru concepts for it ever since.... shes a laundry attendant in akatsuka village with [less than] loose ties to the matsuno family. in this au shes particularly close to toshio/jyushi, who begins frequenting the laundromat after his grandmother's death in spite of the considerable wealth the ogami estate has. he seems aware that theres a connection there but he isnt sure what it really is...

I saw this question posed on tiktok, but I think Tumblr would really enjoy it too.

If a fae creature offered to give one million dollars for a bone chosen at random, how many bones would you allow them to take?

Light clarifications; The fae is not the one choosing the bones. The bone is taken at random. Each bone, no matter the size or importance, is worth a full million dollars. You must also declare the exact number first, you can't go bone-by-bone. You either say 2 or you say 10, you can't work your way up to a higher number. The bones are removed instantaneously, and the money is given immediately as well. You will not get in government trouble for acquiring the money.

Tell me in the tags/replies how many bones you'd let the fae take. And as always, reblog for bigger sample size.

Why do we say that capitalism must be “dismantled”?

You’ll hear phrases like “Smash the state!” “Eat the rich!” and “Smash capitalism!”

And, yes, of course, but… :)

However relevant those sayings are, our work must be careful, highly organized and above all planned.

Because capitalism and all of its associated systems are not discrete, abstracted entities we can attack independently.

It is a structure, like a complicated machine with many thousands of working parts…

And right now it is connected to absolutely everything.

If we do this… [picks up huge hammer and smashes the machine]

Then a lot of vulnerable people will die.

The machine was built and improved and redesigned and patched over the course of generations. It is very good at its intended purpose, which is ultimately to generate profit.

Every human being alive today relies on the byproducts of the machine to survive, without exception.

The machine’s engineers want it to keep working like it does. In fact, they want to optimise it.

That will kill all remaining life on Earth.

So, we must destroy the machine, quickly and carefully

We must examine its deadly programs and mechanics and replace them with alternatives we built together.

The engineers don’t want us tampering with the machine.

However, we make it run…

So we can make it STOP. Together.
