I just think Tallulah gets to be upset about this. “It’s not Wilbur’s fault” “He’s not a bad dad” “He loves his daughter so much” yes! These are all true! And it’s not his fault! But he’s still not there. And Tallulah has gone through so much and still hasn’t seen him, the one time he was around was the one time she wasn’t, and all she has are letters and “I’m thinking of you always” and things that used to be theirs together, but he’s still not there. She’s waited and she’s been patient and she’s loved him all the same, and he’s still not there. Like yesterday, and the day before, and the day before, from the happy milestones to the traumatic events, he’s still not there.
She knows that it’s not his fault, but it doesn’t change the fact that he’s absent. That in and of itself just adds to the sorrow, because she knows why he’s gone, and she’s been told time and time again it doesn’t mean he doesn’t care, she knows this - it doesn’t mean it doesn’t sting, that it doesn’t hurt, that she doesn’t yearn for her father to be there more than anything in the world, and he’s just not there.
So yes, she gets to be upset, and be caustic, and stomp her feet and write bitter messages, and be angry and vitriolic, because she’s a little girl missing her father, who feels things with her whole heart and soul - and that means she gets to feel the ugly parts of it, too.

actually I love Tentoo and he is the Doctor and it was the only ending for Rose that worked and it is a huge gift to be able to have the man she loves grow old with her, they were always heading for that, y'all be quiet. I 100% understand the angst but it's okay, they're okay, good ending-
#did you want her to...not end up with the doctor?#she ended up with the doctor. she ended up with the doctor and they get to AGE together#they get to have a real honest relationship the way they both always genuinely wanted#it's hard that the full time lord version has to carry on without her but that is the way that character's story ALWAYS goes#the doctor does not get to keep ANYONE. it would be a different show if he did#meanwhile there is a version of that same face of his - the one that was MADE for love? particularly born out of love for ROSE? the one 1/2#2/2 that always wanted a FAMILY? and stability? and a normal life? the tenth doctor longed for that specifically because of rose#now he gets to have it AND be part-human so he doesn't have to watch her get old. he gets old WITH HER#and they're canonically growing their own Tardis so you don't even have to be sad that they're not adventuring in time and space as usual#because they ARE. it's the kindest ending for either character. and if the full time lord hadn't left without either of them-#-he would have had to lose them eventually. lose Rose because she's human? hello? painful? but instead he was selfless and left her-#-with a proper happy ending. which she CHOSE to have so you can't be like “he tricked her!” she chose to kiss one of them and it was Tentoo#they are the same man. the way the ericson group were at the outbreak just a bunch of troubled kids who made various mistakes or committed crimes and were judged by a system that punished and abandoned them instead of giving them the support and love they needed, are then nearly a decade later put into a situation where now they must judge a troubled child for the mistakes and crimes hes committed against them. and 5 to 3 vote them out 😭

Hello! Yeah, I was able to come up with a few! I already wrote a few for Valeria here! Somehow, I forgot to put them in my masterlist, though, which I have since fixed! Thank you for making me aware of this, though :-) These are general Headcanons, though, since I had an easier time coming up with those and because you didn't specify, I hope that's okay!
Valeria, Farah and Laswell HCs
Valeria: She’s always had quite the temper, even when she was young. While she may not have been spoiled to hell and back as a child, she usually got what she wanted, as long as it wasn’t something extraordinarily big, her parents always took care of her like that. Valeria loved her mother, they got along very well with each other, and she also took after her, having inherited her personality for the most part. Her father was a bit calmer than the two of them, but that didn’t mean they didn’t get along either. Whereas her mother would encourage her to do most things, her father would try to talk sense into her if it was a bad idea. She often sulked because of it, which is why she didn’t like her father as much as her mother, but as she got older she realized he meant well. Sometimes she still thinks about his advice, but the both of them died a long time ago, so most things they’ve told her are a distant memory by now. Valeria may be successful with what she’s doing and doesn’t like being told what to do, but sometimes she does wish she could still eat some sweets with her parents like she used to.
Joining the military actually wasn’t her first choice of career. She tried many places, but no one would take her, so she opted for the military, which welcomed her with open arms. She got paid. Not well, but she received the money, which was important since her parents couldn’t leave her with too much. They didn’t have very much either, so there wasn’t much to be inherited. Because she’s a woman, a few creeps tried to harass her, but she had none of it and beat all three of them up herself and on her own. Ever since that incident she wasn’t a big fan of the military either, but no other place would take her. However, it showed just how capable she was and earned her a lot of respect. A few other men would try to make advances towards her, but she shot them down every time. However, whenever another female soldier would jokingly flirt with her, that’s when she’d give it her all, making it her goal to fluster her beyond all hell. She’s spent a few evenings and nights with a few female soldiers, but was always willing to rip a male soldier’s dick off if he was being too friendly with her. During her time as a soldier she also realized that she preferred women.
She didn’t always hate Alejandro, actually. Back in the day, they got along very well. He was a man, yes, but he had enough respect for her. It wasn’t a given, even if it should have been, but she appreciated it. Whenever they sparred he gave it his all as well and never looked down on her. In his eyes, the two of them were equals and it showed. Valeria could appreciate that. She liked him, she spent a night with him but realized she hated that sort of stuff with men. He was the final realization for her that Valeria does not like men. It didn’t make her hate him at first, though. Only when he insisted on the two of them being a thing did she develop some form of disdain for him. Once she told him that she could never feel the same way, he stopped. However, he also started treating her a bit differently since he was in love with her. As he rose in ranks, he was a bit harsher on her than the other soldiers, usually dissatisfied with anything she did. He didn’t even notice that, but Valeria did. Therefore he became just another scum to her.
Farah: Before her town got attacked, she actually had a pretty happy childhood. She was sweet and kind as a kid, she got along well with her parents and her brother and she had a few close friends. Farah loved going outside to play, sometimes even inviting her parents to make potions with her in a bucket filled with water, sand and rocks. Her parents were always afraid of the Russians invading and tried to keep their children safe regardless of what happened, but in the end they were unable to. It hit Farah pretty hard, she loved her parents. Even now she misses them dearly since they always took such good care of her and her brother. At least she still had her brother. Farah knew she was the younger one out of the two of them, so she likely should have been the one to be protected, but once her town got attacked she became determined to make sure her brother would stay with her. Drastic times called for drastic measures, so she actually has killed people just so her brother could stay alive. It was around that time that other people realized how she was a very caring person still and could be trusted. Slowly, through that realization, she was able to gather a small force that could help her.
Farah is a pretty good leader. The people she works with adore her because, under that rough exterior, she’s still a good person. All her brothers and sisters know she can be trusted with just about anything. She rarely ever says no upon hearing a request of one of her people, knowing fully well what it’s like to need something. As she’s been through a lot herself, she always has an open ear for her brothers and sisters. While there’s not always time to listen to everyone’s concerns, if she does have time she’ll listen to you intently. Farah knows a lot more about her people than she lets on, that ranges from how the latest battle has gone to how her sister’s family is doing. She’s never one to turn down someone in need, always offering food and shelter. I know she may seem stern, because she has to be in order to be a good leader, but deep down she’s still the same kind girl that she’s always been. Her people would give up just about anything for her, and they do. One day, Farah dreams, Urzikstan will be free, it will be safe and it will prosper, its people won’t have anything to fear anymore. Trade will continue, the people will be happy and she can finally lay down her weary head and rest for a bit. But until then, she swore she’ll fight and fight until everything is finally over.
She’s never actually been in love. When she had the chance to develop a crush she was too young. Now that she’s older she doesn’t have time for anything lovey dovey in the slightest. Alex was the first person she ever developed a crush on. He may have seemed like an enemy at first, but it quickly enough became evident that that couldn’t be further from the truth. He was a good man, someone who could be trusted no matter what. He was loyal to a fault as well, which Farah could appreciate. However, she never told him, swallowing her feelings down instead no matter how intense they became. Yet, she sort of did always look forward to his small gestures of affection. Alex is a physically affectionate guy, so he’d sometimes pat her shoulder, put a hand on her shoulder or gently bump her arm to show he liked her. Farah is severely touch starved, so it made for a good combination. One time, he asked if she would like a hug, to which she said yes. To this day, Farah thinks about that hug since it was the first one she had received in seven or eight years. It may not have seemed like she was swayed at the time, but she was very content afterwards.
Laswell: Laswell’s parents didn’t really care too much for her. Don’t get me wrong, they provided for her physical needs, but they barely looked after her in any other regard, thinking she was happy because she had everything she could ever need. Laswell may have been strong because of it, even then, but she did wish her parents had cared more about other things as well, such as how she was doing emotionally. There were quite a few things that hurt her during her childhood, but she barely had anyone who would support her during her rough times. Her parents only ever wanted to see her happy and content, but barely made any effort to actually keep her as such. Laswell knew fairly early on that she was a lesbian and did come out to her parents, but that’s all that happened. It was never discussed again afterwards, even if her father would sometimes say that she would “find the right guy eventually” while talking to other people. Laswell has called him out on it numerous times, but he always made it about him and how he was the victim for saying something that made his daughter uncomfortable. Laswell didn’t stay in contact with her parents for very long once she moved out.
Even back when she was a child, Laswell knew she wanted to do something more exciting than be a hairdresser, waitress or cook. She wanted to do something with plenty of action, but at the same time she wanted to study and go to university. And thus she combined her wishes and started going to university at first. Afterwards, sometime in her twenties, she started to work for the CIA. She wasn’t treated with very much respect there at first, being a woman working there and all. But she didn’t let that disrespect get her down. In fact, on the outside, she stayed professional, but on the inside she took mental notes on who treated her badly and who didn’t. It soon enough became evident that Laswell knew what she was doing, even if her master’s degree should have been proof enough that there was some intelligence in that noggin of hers. However, soon enough she was transferred. In fact, she was transferred many times before she became a station chief, but it only showed just how competent she was in her field. Laswell has since saved thousands of lives and is proud of it. To her, such a thing is her calling and she wants to continue doing so for as long as she can, all the dangers be damned.
Laswell adores her wife. In fact, “Laswell” isn’t her original last name, she took that of her wife. At first they played with the idea of combining their names, but Laswell wanted fairly little to do with her parents at that point. Plus she wanted to show her father that she never “found the right guy”. So her being named Laswell is purely out of spite. While she may not be at home all the time, or very often, for that matter, she makes sure to bring her wife a gift every time she comes home. It can be something small, such as a souvenir she found while she was abroad, or it could be something along the lines of a golden ring that unfolds into an astronomical sphere. She needs to pamper her wife like that and make sure she knows Laswell loves her to the moon and back. Money isn’t an issue for her, she gets paid very well. Even if the biggest reward for her doing what she does is seeing her wife smile. Every time she sees her give her a big smile she’s reminded of why she does what she does, and that’s the most wonderful thing for her. Even so, not many people know about Laswell’s wife, only a select few do. It’s a safety measure since she knows people will target her. Although she’s a diplomatic kind of person, if anyone ever were to hurt her wife, then that person can be certain they’ll never walk freely among the sunlight again.

What do you think about gojo ships
I feel like I'm pretty indifferent to most of them. This is super cringe of me, but whenever I fall super in love with a character I don't often like shipping them romantically with anyone. 💀 (im delusional I know)
It doesn't help that for some reason the jjk fandom (especially twt) is weirdly aggressive about ships. I know it isn't all the shippers and it's mostly just the loud minority, but seeing so much of the discourse has kinda put me off and I don't really engage much with the ships in the fandom except for rarepairs and selfships bc alot of the time those communities are more wholesome and cozy (if that makes sense LOL)

The town's most grandeur power couple. That's it. Goodbye.
Outwardly, they are reserved and private; sometimes extremely so. Unless they are interacting, whether it is at work or in public, it's common for people to assume they're not together; in fact, their own coworkers didn’t know they were married. They kiss and hold hands sparingly if it’s not in an appropriate space.
In the safety of their home, they are so much more passionate and expressive; it's disgusting. A few more kisses, a few more playful bickers. It makes Roy want to barf every time he hears it but hey, it used to be worst when they were younger.
It’s noted that Carmen has an excessive way of speaking. To people unfamiliar to it, it may cause light confusion. Richard is her translator (sometimes, Roy!).
Carmen: I'd like a table for one and another, if you may.
Waiter: ...?
Richard, from the side: Table for two, please.
Carmen's love language lies heavily with gifting. Pair that up with her materialism and you are promised with mountains of wealth. She has careful ears; whenever she hears Richard approving something like a snack or piece of clothing, she writes it down in her mental notes for the special days.
Similarly, Richard's love language is acts of service. Those small but meaningful gestures. He struggles being immediate with words of adoration so he follows his own philosophy: actions over words. He has careful eyes; anything that Carmen may need help with or may need later (like a bath) and he’s already offering it.
Pet names. Oh, how they love pet names. It's nothing silly like bae or bubba, though. It's old classic pet names like Dear and Darling (their mains), Love and Honey, and Toots or Sweetheart (if they're feeling cheesy). They have probably gone a few days just using pet names. Roy isn't exactly safe from it either. Carmen often refers to Roy as "my baby", when she isn't in an agitated mood.
They both proposed at the same time. Though, if you ask who proposed, one would often (playfully) bicker that they were the one who proposed, and it goes back and forth. It's never a straight answer. Roy doesn't even know. Fun fact: when they were younger, they had promise rings for a long time.
Despite everything, it was Carmen who initiated their relationship first. She got tired of being too subtle. It often goes over Richard’s head.
Carmen (and by extension, Roy on better days) tends to recover from sickness very quickly. It's something a good day of rest will fix. Richard, on the other hand, is on the opposite side of the spectrum. Fortunately, he seldom gets sick but when he does, his whole body is on shutdown if he gets something as small as a cold.
Carmen will unapologetically take the day off work to take care of Richard. One single phone call of notice and she’s not picking up her company number anymore. She’s warming up blankets, prepping medicine and just being by his side (same when looking after Roy too).
I like to think that the company they work for kinda needs both of them to function so on days like this, it crumbles a little bit.
Carmen struggles with Math and Richard struggles with English, and with those, they help each other out. It was the same in school/collage years but they both were top students; who knows if they even needed each other’s help.
It makes sense that Carmen’s the big spoon in the relationship and when they are being affectionate, she is most of the time! Though, for them, there’s really no designated big/little spoon. They take turns. If Richard wants her to be his weighted blanket, so be it.
They sleep in separate beds. Mostly because their own work space is inside their bedrooms but also because they tend to have opposing sleep schedules too; Carmen sleeps early to function while Richard needs to hit the extreme AM before his body feels the effect. Despite this, it’s very common for one of them to sneak in the other’s room and sleep together anyways.
Speaking of work space, it’s not uncommon for Carmen to be glued to her desk, churning out loads of work that’s on a deadline (which is rare but happens when the company is behind). She gets in the zone and when she gets on the zone, nothing else matters. She forgets to eat or takes breaks. It happens.
Richard is always watching out for his wife's well-being. It all circles back to his love language. He comes into her room, hands her water or a meal, and walks back out without a single word. Maybe a kiss on the head if she’s not under immense pressure.
Richard’s face gets all red when Carmen teases (read: bombs) him with her sweet words or little kisses. One or two is fine—he can keep his usual stoic face—but one after the other after the other? That’s cheating.
Carmen, out of nowhere: I love youuuu.
Richard: Love you too, dear.
Carmen: You are so adorable. (kiss) Have I told you that? (kiss) I could eat you up if I desire. (kiss) Handsome man, you.
Richard, face full of red: stop.
It's the opposite for her. Carmen is far more than capable to hold a straight face when it comes to receiving teases. She’s grew up with praises, after all. To get her in a blushing mess, he has to get a little creative and discreet. For the right moments, sentimental but that’s not often.
Richard, gesturing her closer: Carmen.
Carmen, lending an ear: Hm?
Richard: (whispering something out of character or just something highly inappropriate)
Carmen, flustered: RICHARD!
Carmen's favourite place to kiss Richard is kissing his nose and cheeks. Richard's favourite place to kiss Carmen is her neck and hands. And then each other's lips, of course. Muah. Most of Richard's kisses are considered sniff kisses.
It's cute when one person gets to wear their partner's shirt and it's oversized on them. Carmen can't... do that; her physique’s too different for her to wear Richard’s shirts without it ripping or being too tight. So at home, Richard is seen wearing his wife’s shirts as sleepwear.
Richard is the listener to Carmen’s ramblings. He could be multitasking and still recall minor details from a a year ago. It’s rare for it to be the other way around; Richard needs just a day or two to file his thoughts together.
The two of them can be considered very attractive. Wolf whistles, catcalls, and nonsensical flirting aren’t common but it happens to the both of them. When it comes to their relationship, the trust that they have in each other is phenomenal. Nothing would stop Carmen from wrapping her hand around Richard's waist though.
Sighs. Until death do them part.

'we hate shipping-focused fandom!'#well one thing about me love to make characters have insane sex. i do not follow these practices in my own life.#i tend to find real-life discussions of sex and romance generally unpleasant; but this is something you sort of just have to deal with.#but i love shipping. air that i breathe. i love to read romance. and full-m smut. love to write or draw them kissing.#i also like when characters murder each other ; or talk to ghosts ; or drive without seatbelts ; i should note i also#don't practice these things or in most cases condone them!#to me – this is just another aspect of fiction that is separate to my real-life experience. it's no more inherently#positive or negative than anything else characters do.#i don't find love to be something that is fundamental to the human condition but it is a big; broad human story. and a compelling one!#anyways. that's my speech. thanks for the on-sale chocolate allos.
