Fuck. You cursed, heart thumping loudly as soon as you recalled who is the sender of the love letter you had received, mind going crazy because—

It was no other than the cool nerd who barely gets sleep, Trafalgar Law. Your longtime crush.

“He... He reciprocated my feelings for him? Is he serious?” You muttered, swallowing the lump on your throat as you re-read the letter;

To Y/n,

This is Law, and I want to tell you something through this letter—I like you. You're the reason why I've been quite antsy recently, because I realized that I have feelings for you, so here's hoping that you like me back.

Yes. He is serious. But you can't help it but doubt the boy, thinking that he's messing around with you.

“I want to ask him if he's serious and not kidding with me, but.. What if he says that it's all a joke?” Overthinking, you shook your head, hoping that it'll clear your mind from being a mess.

“That'll hurt like hell... I don't wanna take the risk.” Sighing deeply, you decided to just head home to recollect your thoughts there.

Though to your surprise, he's there. Standing by the gates of your home with his arms crossed over his chest.

“Figured that you'd head here instead of going to me. So hello, Y/n-ya.” Law greets, a smirk forming on his face upon seeing you look at him with wide eyes, a blush taking over your face as you immediately hid his letter behind you.

“W..What are you doing in—in here, L-Law..!?” You stammered, stepping back a few steps, getting away from the raven-haired male who shrugged.

“You know that I'm here to talk about that letter you're hiding right now.” Pointing at the paper behind you, Law took a big step forward, standing in front of you.

“S-So what about the letter!? Are you here just to tell me that... That you're just messing with me!??” You blurt out causing Law to immediately frown, hand clasping your arm tightly.

“Look, Y/n-ya. Look at me and tell,” Getting you to look at him, Law took a long pause before continuing, “tell me, do I look like someone who does jokes?”

Squinting his eyes at you, Law expressed his seriousness. Clicking his tongue by the words you just blurted out.

“So?” Letting go of you, Law leaned on the wall behind him, waiting for you to reply. “..No, you don't look like someone who jokes around....”

“Now you get your answer. I'm serious about my feelings for you, so I gave that letter to let it out, and if you don't like me back, it's fine. I don't mind, it's your choice anyway.” Shaking his head, he then walked away as he waved his hands good-bye while you gasped.

“W..Wait, Law! I actually, uhm, I like you back...” You admit in a small voice, though your tone was enough to reach Law's ears, catching his attention from what you said.

“What? You do?” Asking you to confirm this, Law walked back beside you, airy chuckles escaping his lips upon seeing you nod.

“..I do, yeah. I like you back, I liked you for some time now...” Confessing your feelings to Law who got a smug look on his face, you silently screeched as soon as his face moved close to yours.

“Good, then shall we go out on a date, mhm?” Law inquires as you bashfully nod, now walking with him holding your hand discreetly, squeezing it as his heart thumped for you..
