3-E: *flips the paper and raises it*

Nagisa: "Alright it seems that.. Horror won! Wait.. God were doomed.." *nagisa grimaces*

3-E: *sighs defeatedly*

Kataoka: "Hey Nagisa thanks for helping out."

Isogai: "Yeah you did an amazing job!"

Nagisa: "Oh, thanks but I really didn't do much!"

Nakamura: "Gisa' accept a compliment will you?" *ruffles his hair*

Nagisa: "H-hey!" *blushes in embarrassment*

Karma: "Awe look who's red!"

Nagisa: "S-shut up Karma-kun!"

Karma: "Haha!"

Kimura: "Alright let's pick the movie!!"

Mimura: *opens Netflix's and moves to horror category*

Karma: "Eh.. Em... Seen that one.. Boring..."

Hazama: "That one."

Karma: "Oh hey! Didn't see that but heard it's creepy!"

3-E: *shivers in despair*

Terasaka: "Cmon just play it will you!"

Mimura: "Alright! alright! Ritsu can you play that movie with speaker volume up to 50?"

Ritsu: "Aye Aye captain!"

Itona: "Terasaka move your squishing me."

Yoshida: "Move buff guy your squishing all of us!"

Terasaka: "HEY WATCH YOUR WORDS!"

Nagisa: *brings blanket up to shoulders*

Karma: "Aww is little Nagi scared?"

Sugino+Kayano: "I AM HERE!!! WE'LL HELP YOU!!"

Nakamura: *whispers to karma then giggles*

*both put there iconic grin and devil horns and tails start visibly showing*

Nagisa: "H-hey what are you two whispering about!"

Nakamura: "Ohh nothing... Hehe.." *smirks*

Nagisa: "Your acting really suspicious.."

Nakamura: *giggles*

*the movie starts*

*the intro shows a jump scare*

Most of the girls: "GAHH!!"

Nagisa: "AHHH!" *embraces sugino and kayano for support*

Sugino+Kayano: *clenches their shirt/dress tightly where there heart is and melts in the embrace while a tear drop glistens and falls*

Karma+Nakamura: "HEY NO FAIR!!" *embraces nagisa*

Okajima+Half of the class: *hogs the food hara,muramatsu and nagisa made*

Hayami: *tenses up a bit and is visibly a bit scared*

Chiba: *hugs hayami*

Hayami: *blushes out of embarrassment and melts in the embrace*

*a few hours later because I'm lazy to write their reactions*

Nagisa: *asleep in suginos shoulder*

3-E: *asleep*

*visible crumbs on trays and plates where the food was formerly shown*

*tv visibly off and ritsu also sleeping*

Time-skip to tomorrow because I'm lazy! 😍

Kurahashi: "That was tons of fun!! We should do it some time!!"

Rinka Hayami rare pairs (And some random dynamics)

Well, I made about 200 screenshots of the rare pair generator to create random character dynamics, and I decided to select Hayami's rare pairs and talk about them

The first one is my newest OTP (let's see how far this goes) IsoHaya💕💕💕💕

Well, before you tell me that they never interacted, the two are in the same class and Isogai is the representative, he already talked to everyone in that class at least once.

The reason I like them: they match, Hayami is a girl who appears cold and stoic, but is actually sweet, sensitive, tough and strong at the same time, although she doesn't know how to say "no" to people. in general. doesn't take bullshit from anyone. Isogai is the perfect ikemen leader of course and he is good at dealing with people and making everything work but sometimes he is too kind and understanding anyway the two balance each other in a certain way even though they are similar

This looks like a crackship, but it might work.

I just like the idea of Okajima being genuinely in love with Hayami. This mostly came from other blogs.

This case in point is a dynamic that can work as a shipp

I know Okuda is afraid of Hayami, but what about Hayami? In my head, she thinks Okuda is cute, smart, and would love to be friends with her. But every time Hayami tries to approach Okuda, the one with glasses gets nervous and runs away, this is not strange for Rinka, it has happened before, but this time she even smiled (a bit of a forced smile, but a smile).

Until one day Rinka discovers that Okuda is afraid of her and gets a little sad, but decides to ask why. Manami is very nervous about the question, but I think that once things are settled they can be friends.

Don't ask me why, but to me they are good friends.

Imagine them talking about literature, or being the common sense of the group of friends, or the fact that they have similar vibes.

And for some reason, I think Hayami likes to study magical and spiritual things like incense and crystals, and while no one likes the exact same kind of magic they're interested in, I usually imagine them talking about it (with Chiba and Terasaka's gang, except for Itona scared to death in the background)

For unknown reasons, I just love the idea of Maehara falling in love with Hayami and trying to win her over in every way possible, but in a subtle way, because after he just tried to approach her to flirt, she already said "no" with one of the coldest looks Hiroto has ever received in his life. That's something to explore... I just love the fact that Hayami has a certain contempt for perverts and that for some reason they really like her.

One of my main Headcannons is that Gakushuu and Rinka have a sibling relationship.

And Gakushuu doesn't care whether or not Rinka is in Class E, he's still going to introduce her to his friends (after creating a proper school-wide excuse for Hayami being in 3-E, of course, he has to keep his image )

Well, Rinka already knew Araki and Ren from previous years, and Seo has similar characteristics to Itona, who she doesn't like, so I guess she wouldn't like him, but what about Koyama? For some reason I think they would get along and be good friends. Like he was giving Rinka physics advice and everything and she was showing him pictures of cats.

One day the 5 Virtuosos were going to meet to study at a cafeteria or restaurant, and only Natsuhiko was missing who said he would arrive a little later, and on the way they stop at a Café and find Koyama and Rinka talking and studying and in the middle of the conversation , they realize that the two call each other by their first names. (this would be after the middle of the school year)

bonus: Gakushuu would go into jealous brother mode after that and tell Rinka that Koyama had agreed to study with them, but if she needed help, Gakushuu would be there to help her study.

hihi! i remember seeing you set hype boy by newjeans as the song that would fit chiba and kaho, and i was wondering what other kpop groups you see them (or 3e too) listing to! i hope you’re having a good day!!

I've got a couple of groups in mind but I first need to let you know that:

Realistically, not everyone in 3E would be listening to kpop + I hardly pay attention to other groups these days 😭

Kaho - EXO

She's the kind of fan who would go through any lengths to find and buy that rare but ridiculously overpriced photocard of Kai 😭

With the group not being as active as they used to be, Kaho would most likely casually hops between fandoms. Typically a boy group stan.

Chiba - Stray Kids

Kaho has been trying to get Chiba into kpop, mostly to have a shared interest with him, and her hopes are far up because kpop artists do any sorts of music genre so there's a chance he might find something he liked.

He barely budged though since his music tastes are so specific and far from what's common among kpop groups. He'd find himself liking a song or two from a group, or in the extremely rare case, finds himself liking a whole album (such as Dark & Wild by BTS).

And then Stray Kids debuted 😁

Nakamura - XG

They're not really kpop though, but they're seriously the only group I think Nakamura would actually care about.

(Especially with the old school hiphop + rnb feel they had and will still have going on)

Kanzaki - Dreamcatcher

Along with AleXa, Rolling Quartz, Pink Fantasy, and PIXY... you could pretty much tell what kind of girl groups she's typically into just based on their concepts.

Irina - HYOLYN

Honestly this is more of a strong association between the two rather than Irina listening to her songs (she totally would though, same for SISTAR as a whole).

Just that, Irina being Christian gives off the same vibes as Hyolyn randomly pulling out a bible in her "what's in my bag" video 😭😭

Maehara and Okajima - early TWICE

I just have this tiny headcanon of Okajima being a fan of idol groups in general, and TWICE's popularity in Japan can easily put them in his radar.

Maehara would also begin listening to them since he liked their songs enough and they are everywhere.

Megu - current TWICE

On the other hand, I think Megu would be more into their later music as their group image matures along with their ages. The classy feel they have in their recent releases seem to be more right in her alley.

Yada - LE SSERAFIM

Listen,

LS SSERAFIM's branding of being this gathering of strong and confident women who are fearlessly facing their future, not letting others bring them down and the past to pull them back, just screams YADA to me.

I strongly believe that she'll love them.

Plus I think she'll enjoy dancing to their choreo.

Friendly reminder that Okajima and Chiba are canonically like literal besties. Okajima is also a trusted partner of Chiba's when it comes to assassination. The most obvious shown case is during the civil war (before girlboss Kanzaki obliterates them both).

spent two days devouring assassination classroom all over again but anime version and now

now i have thoughts of modern!fits idiots squad in class 3E

karma and ayame as rivals (in what sense? doesn't matter cos they are on opposite ends of the spectrum and don't want to get along)

nagisa and tanjirou constantly sweatdropping at the nonsense they're class-assigned best friends get up to

zenitsu and okajima are a terrible duo and they work so well together

Korosuu English Translation - Chapter 6: Sniper Time

Note: Although this was directly translated from Japanese -> English, I didn't write it word for word, and instead went with variants that flow better in the English language for a much easier reading experience. Raw scans were provided by the amazing @blazardragon, so a big thank you to them!

Along with Chapter 5, I actually finished translating this last year's summer. The initial plan was to wait for Nao to finish translating Chapters 3 and 4 before I post mine.

This is the chapter that birthed the joke that is Evil Enabler Chiba because... he is such a MENACE here, oh lord. Right up there with Karma provoking Grip at the hotel raid arc 😭

"Well sorry for the warning…"

After muttering that under his breath, Chiba leaned out of the window sill and looked around to see that there was a brand new round hole in the window frame.

"So, what should we do then? Should we still proceed with what you said earlier?" Hayami asked.

Chiba kept silent for a while and shook his head.

"Thinking from the trajectory, I'm going to need you to stay close. No matter how good I am, I wouldn't be able to shake it off if I were to make a mistake even by a few centimeters in a place like this… But even so, I would like to be able to give back the same "warning" to that man, at least."

Hayami swore she could almost see a quiet flame being lit through Chiba's bangs. It was an expression she had rarely seen from him.

[Illustration] A hole was made as a result of sniping work by the Legendary Sniper. A mechanical pencil was inserted into the window frame hole to measure the angle at which the bullet flew.

"If you follow the trajectory with this-"

While saying that, Chiba took pictures of the mechanical pencil from directly above and the sides using a smartphone camera with a grid display on the screen. Then, taking an angle from the photo, he drew a straight line onto the prepared drawing.

Chiba's hand then stopped.

"What happened?"

Hayami immediately understood the reason for the sudden pause. Following Chiba's line of sight, what she saw was a pillar supporting the roof of the arcade. The problem was that the pillar was circular.

"Shit, that's right… We wouldn't know where the shot came from." Chiba realized.

The method that Chiba and Hayami came up with cannot be used if the ricochet location was slanted or curved.

"But you do know where the pillars would hit, right? And what about the vertical rays? Is that no good?"

Chiba pulled the elevation drawing map closer and quickly placed a ruler on it.

"Nah... It looks fine. We can follow it."

Fortunately, there were no curved objects like sloping walls or cylinders there.

"I wonder if we bounce the bullet from the ground or shoot it from the ground. There's no doubt that it'll hit the left side of the pillar… but that also means knowing that the bullet came from the left."

Chiba looked at Hayami while still following the drawn line with his finger.

"But if you bounce from somewhere else before that, then you wouldn't know where your opponent is anymore."

Hayami turned to the window sill. "The bullet that was shot into the window frame was quite powerful, wasn't it?"

Chiba followed along Hayami's line of sight. It was an old piece of wood, but as long as the rounded bullet had penetrated through it, it should be powerful enough to hit a human.

"That's right."

"If so, then I don't think you would need the bullet to bounce so many times. If you just wanted to give a little scare, I think all you need was to be pretty accurate about it."

Chiba reviewed the illustration.

"I see."

"And the bullets would pass through the feet of people walking around the shopping district. But is there any reason to go through such length if it's just to give back a warning?"

Chiba crossed his arms and pondered deeply.

It was exactly what Hayami said. There should be no reason to risk aiming at the feet of pedestrians who do not know where they are going. Regardless of aiming for the ultimate goal that is Koro-sensei, if an accident were to happen here, then everything they had prepared for would be ruined.

He has a reason to take such a risk, however. But he would rather avoid going through that length at all costs.

Hayami pressed a fingertip against a point on the drawing.

"This. Isn't it suspicious?"

Hayami was pointing at a box stationed just to the left of the building where the two of them are. It's the tonkotsu ramen stall that smells awful.

In the beginning, it was a prominent awful scent that made them want to pinch their noses. But as they checked the shopping district and began looking around, the two were so engrossed in what they were doing that they had forgotten about its existence.

"Well, imagine if you shoot from here."

"Huh?"

Now that he thought about it, there was something suspicious he noticed. A tall car model was used for the stall. But for some reason, it was fully wide open, and the old man inside was sitting cross-legged while preparing ramen, though a bit clumsily, and Chiba remembered that the man was in a sour mood the entire time they had been watching.

But earlier, it wasn't particularly on Chiba's mind.

"The food stall could also be helpful for us to move freely. Since the scent of tonkotsu ramen can cover us from Koro-sensei's strong sense of smell if it's a concern."

Chiba glanced at the ramen stall from the window.

"...No doubt about it. Except that car would be moving before you know it. So you wouldn't be able to see anything inside."

"That's true…"

Chiba clicked his tongue. "There's nothing we can do about this. Damn it, is there no better way to deal with that man?"

At that moment, the smartphone on the table began vibrating again. Chiba frowned a little and picked it up and thankfully, it wasn't an unknown number this time.

"Okajima?!"

"Yeah, I got a call from an unknown number earlier telling me that the sniper was working. So, I thought I'd try to assassinate Koro-sensei first because I'm a sniper too, you know?"

"Where are you right now? At a dining place?"

As soon as Chiba looked out by the window, he could see a shadow waving at him from his peripheral vision.

"Wait, is Takebayashi with you? I'm gonna need some help."

When Chiba shortly explained the situation, Okajima briefly laughed from the other line. "So in short, you wanna know what's going on with that stinky ramen shop over there?"

"Yeah, if that's alright with you. Also, if the distance is good enough, can the two of you guys show me the old man at the ramen stall through a video call?"

"I see, so you're going to triangulate."

At the same time Takebayashi's voice piped up from the other line, the phone screen was split into two, and the ramen stall was projected on them at different angles.

"Would this be fine?"

Chiba went to grab the rangefinder, answering yes. He measured the positions of where the two guys were and the position of the man making ramen using what was projected on the smartphone. Then he pulled the table with the illustration towards the window so he could determine the angle of where the two points would meet.

"Hayami, can you shoot as instructed?"

Hayami, who was already heading for the rifle, gave him a thumbs up in response.

"Horizontally: 12 degrees 22 minutes and 52 seconds. Vertically: 24 degrees 7 minutes and 21 seconds."

The moment when Chiba just finished talking was when the sound of firing echoed. Beyond the screen of the smartphone he's holding, Chiba saw a BB bullet graze a figure.

"Horizontally, you're about 30 centimeters off to the right. But vertically, it's fine. Do it again."

The instruction he gave was more of an estimation based on what he saw through the screen, but Chiba was convinced that Hayami had an accurate grasp of it.

Another sound of the gun firing.

"This time, about 10 centimeters to the left. The rest is fine."

Though the screen of the smartphone was a bit delayed by the firing sound, Chiba saw the BB pellet bouncing on an old man's shoulder.

The said old man, who was trying to calmly present a ramen to a customer, suddenly dropped the bowl in surprise.

From outside the window, the duo heard a small yet heavy noise… then immediately followed by screams and yelling. One of which they cannot make out what the word is as it was certainly not Japanese.

They saw a figure who appeared by flipping up the floorboard and was caught by the old shop owner who looked like a mess.

"Is it a hit?" Hayami looked back at Chiba with a relieved face and he smiled at her. Then she turned back to the rifle again, and after a short while, pulled the trigger.

BANG.

Beyond the screen, the foreigner-like man's face, perhaps the Legendary Sniper himself, was stuck in a surprised expression. The BB bullet that was shot by Hayami is firmly digging into his forehead. Chiba raised a small right hand. Then Hayami matched the lifted hand with her own.

Then, when he turned to look back at his smartphone, the sniper was stunned and wasn't even looking at the screen. He wouldn't have thought that he would be shot this way.

Chiba turned back to Hayami in delight. "Hey! There's no target we can't hit, right?"

Hayami laughed with a pleasant expression.

Okajima's voice suddenly echoed from Chiba's smartphone.

"I'm happy for you guys and all, but sorry. Koro-sensei's heading over there."

Tension returns to their facial expressions. Chiba, who was attached to the scope of the rangefinder, found Koro-sensei, who had just left the product exhibition, and was about to return through the arcade.

Chiba had set a target shortly before Koro-sensei arrived and determined the angle of the incidence from the drawing. Then he raises his face to give Hayami instructions.

"It's your turn this time." She interrupted, however.

Hayami's hands lightly touch his shoulders. Chiba, who changed places as prompted by Hayami, shut his mouth tightly and sat down in front of his rifle.

This time, I would have to finish it in one shot. The second Koro-sensei notices me, I know I wouldn't be able to hit him anymore.

Chiba could hear his own heartbeat from the back of his ears. This was not just a sniping assignment. It was a situation he created by working with Okajima, Takebayashi and others, and Hayami.

As he held still, he felt that the ambient noise disappeared.

He could hear Hayami's breathing, which helped him measure the time. As she unconsciously breathed in, Chiba felt like he could truly see what he was seeing through the scope.

He could see Hayami's right hand going up high. 2 meters left… 1 meter. It was as if Hayami was speaking out.

The arm swung down exactly the same time Chiba pulled the trigger. It was a feat that could have had absolutely impossible timing if he had instead reacted visually.

BANG.

The BB bullet released from the rifle reacted exactly as Chiba expected it to be and attacked Koro-sensei diagonally above from his left.

It was at that moment.

Hayami, who was looking through the scope of the rangefinder, suddenly withdrew. "Eh?"

"...He saw it."

Startled, Chiba instinctively leaned out the window and looked down at the street.

"Aww too bad."

Among the crowds in the shopping district, Chiba and Hayami stood in front of the usually smiling Koro-sensei.

The confidently deadly bullet was evaded by Koro-sensei, who withdrew his neck right on the verge of being hit.

"Sensei noticed that you were planning something."

Apparently, looking at Chiba's expression who was inspired by Okajima's failed mirror technique, Koro-sensei immediately knew that he would be aiming for a ricochet.

"It's a great pleasure to see my students voluntarily attempt to assassinate, let alone, look up, and come up with their own methods from what little information available they could gather." When Koro-sensei noticed the Legendary Sniper's gaze, the man stiffened then immediately jumped into the driver's seat and sped from the shopping district.

"Maybe I don't have to tell you this, though. You can only realize the growth of your students when you're a teacher."

After a deep emotional smile, Koro-sensei turned to the two again.

"This was your homework. Complete this sniper technique. While there wasn't a deadline, you weren't given any hints instead. This was something that you all would have to work on your own. And this isn't just only useful for assassination. What you get in the process of this homework will probably broaden your knowledge and ideas far more than you can imagine."

Then, with a smile on his face again, Koro-sensei lifted the manju he grabbed with the tip of his tentacles.

"Nurufufufufu~ Today is a really happy day. This way, you can feel the growth of your own students and taste the manju that you have been longing for. I thought I could relax today in the staff room while enjoying green tea, but it would be a waste if I couldn't enjoy it at such a wonderful moment."

Chiba felt uncomfortable at the sight of the light-coloured steamed bun. It looked like something round was digging into its surface. By the time he realized that it was the BB bullet he had shot earlier, Koro-sensei had already chomped down the steamed bun.

Koro-sensei's high-pitched screams echoed throughout the narrow shopping district.

The class of year 3-E is an Assassination Classroom.

Tomorrow, the morning bell will ring once again.

Notes:

My boy is a fear-inducing risk-taking menace and he ENABLED Hayami to do his bidding (aka get revenge on the legendary sniper) only because he didn't like to be called a hindrance. If that doesn't scream petty then I don't know what to tell y'all... 😭

I love how we got a great callback to chapter 4 where Chiba and Hayami talked about combining their contrasting efforts to make things possible. Because we first have Hayami with her great timing being meticulously instructed by Chiba so she could aim accurately. And then our ever so accurate Chiba, whose overthinking tend to distract him but Hayami was there to keep him grounded and get his timing on point.

Also, this kinda proves that Koro's unpredictably was what caused Class E to ulttimately fail their Island assassination attempt, not the snipers' own mild mishaps. With the support of Hayami's timing, Chiba's perfect shot should've done him in. But it didn't so... Blocking the bullet with the snack he's holding, it's exactly what happened to Red Eye's attempt on him during the Kyoto trip 😭

And the remaining bits of official content we have left has now come to an end! I hope you all have a good read because... we won't be getting any new official content any time soon, I fear 😭

So, um, hi. I've sent in askes before, and usually wouldn't be shy to let you know who I'm am, but I've had a really crappy day (my mom made me legit burst into tears) and my birthday is in two days, so I've decided to cheer myself up.

Do you have any hc for the 3-E boys (specifically underestimated Okajima/ Okajima is more than his flaws?) Thank you!

Okajima is always in a rush every morning because he has to have long morning showers. No, he’s not forced to but he’s a huge diva and it helps him feel/look his best everyday

And because of that, he’s often doing random things on the way to school or in first period. Like putting lotion on, hair gel, eyebrow tweezing, etc 😭 Everyone clowns on him so much lmao

Mimura has a lot of old collectible film stuff, like Star Wars ship models, stuff like that. He gives away some of the less valuable ones to some of the kids at the school they help in canon.

Sugino and Maehara get into origami together, to prove to the other athletes that they can be “delicate and dexterous and not at all clumsy.” They end up getting addicted and make a million paper animal figures that end up in every corner of the classroom

This tiktok is literally Okajima and Maehara energy (Okajima is the one on the bed lmao)

Itona is always wearing a million layers because he’s used to it :( from when he was homeless and had to conserve warmth somehow

Yada, Kurahashi, and Nakamura film makeup videos for fun, and the most frequent of their victims clients is Okajima. He always volunteers if they need someone, and it’s fun for him. He likes learning about new hacks and how to use it.

Okajima always offers to sharpen any of his seatmate’s pencils if he’s getting up anyways for his own. It’s a little sweet gesture!

Muramatsu, Nagisa and Okajima help each other pick out beanies whenever they do online shopping in class.

Karma texts Isogai at the most random times saying the oddest things just to bother him lmao. But jokes on him bc at this point, nothing fazes Isogai lmaooo

Karma: would you still be friends with me if I were a worm?

Isogai: please leave me alone it’s literally 4am, also the answer is yes

Speaking of texts, Okajima texts like the girls. He uses a lot of “heyyy” and “omggg” and it’s completely unironic.

Basically I feel like Okajima is a very fluid individual lol. He doesn’t care to conform to gender norms. He has no shame, except for when he does something obviously wrong. But I mean, he’ll crossdress, wear facial masks, try out makeup, etc.

The guys definitely go on a fishing trip in the future, either right after graduation or sometime during college. Actually no, they do it once every summer after graduation. And it’s very chaotic every time 😭

If there is a plan to hang out, you best believe Okajima will invite everybody he can lmao. He cannot keep word down. He always protests that “the more, the merrier!” But really he doesn’t want anyone to ever feel excluded. And if he has to throw himself under the bus for that, then so be it

He also has a really soft spot for nature. He’s always had it, but wasn’t really around people who would encourage it. After getting in 3-E and hanging out more with someone like Kurahashi, he grows to unabashedly adore bunnies and cats and everything.

He also definitely gifts cat-themed stuff to Hayami. He plays it off like his mom bought the wrong ones or something like that, but really he loves seeing Hayami’s face light up.

Okajima’s love language is acts of service, hidden under words of affirmation and big over-the-top gestures.
