"She's perfect, Alci..." Raine breathed, sitting beside Alcina in her hospital room, gazing at the newest member of their family.

"Just like her mama." Alcina replied with a chuckle, turning her blue eyes to Raine, her smile contagious, as she held the newborn close to her chest.

Raine blushed at the compliment, leaning in to press her forehead to Alcina's before pressing a kiss to her lips, trying desperately to convey every ounce of love she felt in her heart for the woman before her.

"We haven't named her yet, you know." Raine noted, brushing her finger gently down the newborns cheek, smiling lovingly as a yawn escaped the infant.

"Elaina. Elaina Grace Dimitrescu-Williams. Or Williams-Dimitrescu, whichever you prefer, draga." Alcina replied, gazing down at their little one, a tired smile once more coming to her lips. "We can call her Ellie for short, as homage to Elliot." Alcina chuckled, which Raine quickly joined in.

"I told mum you were in labor last night. I'm sure she's beside herself wanting to see her." Raine hummed, sitting back with a contemplative look on her face. "Dad and Eli too. Not to mention the girls and Karl."

"Ugh, don't remind me of my idiot brother-in-law when we're sharing this precious moment, darling..." Alcina deadpanned, fixing Raine with a stare that earned a short laugh and an apology. "Be a good daughter and call Wendy and Sam. I'm sure they can't wait to meet their granddaughter."

Raine did just that, ringing Wendy as soon as she fished her phone from her pocket, the camera for their FaceTime already trained on the newborn in Alcina's arms.

Wendy answered on the second ring, her face coming on screen as Raine settled in beside Alcina, both of them watching as tears began streaming down Wendy's face, followed by muffled yelling for Sam to come and see.

"Good to see you too, mum." Raine laughed, the camera still capturing Eliana as Sam peered over Wendy's shoulder at the newborn. "Meet your granddaughter, Eliana Grace."

"Oh my God! Oh, she's absolutely precious!" Wendy sobbed, propping her glasses on her head so she could wipe at her eyes, while Sam continued to smile lovingly at the newborn. "Oh, I called Eli as soon as you texted me last night. He's here too, just give him a moment." Wendy signaled Raine to turn the camera so she could address them as she wiped at her nose with a tissue. "Alcina, how are you feeling, dear? Has my daughter been good to you?"

Raine groaned before handing Alcina the phone, the woman expertly balancing Eliana in one arm as she took hold of the phone with her other hand.

"She's been so wonderful the whole night, Wendy. A truly wonderful pillar of support, even if I almost crushed her hand and cussed her out during the process of delivery." Alcina chuckled, looking over at Raine, who was flexing her hand to prove it still worked, teasingly flipping Alcina off before slipping off the bed.

"Yes, well, at least it wasn't the hand that mattered, darling." Raine teased, arching a brow at Alcina before grabbing her wife's phone to call the girls.

"Oh, do remind the girls to be quiet when they come by to visit. I'll hopefully be able to get some rest before they make their presence known." Alcina winced, earning a quick 'noted' from Raine as she stepped out into the hall to call the girls. "And speaking of visits, when can we expect you to come and visit?" Alcina questioned Wendy.

"Whenever you'd like for us to come. Though these first few weeks are really about you and Raine bonding with her. And I'm sure the girls are going to be more than thrilled to meet their new sister."

"We would love to have you whenever you can come out. I can have Raine purchase the flight whenever you'd like."

"Please don't trouble yourself with our expenses, Alcina. We can cover our own flights." Wendy chuckled. "Oh! Eli, come see! Look at how precious your neice is!"

Alcina quickly turned the camera back to rear-facing so Elliot could see the newborn, a new smile on her lips as she watched an uncle meet his niece for the first time. Raine stepped back into the room then, seeing her brother's face on the screen. Watching his expressions as he spoke to Eliana for the first time, the way his eyes lit up as he simply looked at her, made her heart soar.

"You know, Eliana was the perfect name for her. We needed an 'Ellie' to go with 'Eli'." Raine chuckled, watching her brother's expression change again, his eyes glossing over with unshed tears before he moved out of the screen, his fingers pinching the bridge of his nose.

"Oh, he's absolutely in love, dear." Wendy beamed as she came back onto the screen.

They talked for several more minutes until a nurse knocked to come in. Raine was absolutely over the moon as she watched Alcina cuddle their daughter close. And then those blue eyes were on her, her smile causing her nose to crinkle just slightly as she waved Raine over with a crook of her finger.

"Your turn, mama. Mother needs to get some form of rest before the three wildcards show up." Alcina chuckled, handing Eliana over to Raine, smiling as she watched her wife cuddle their daughter for the first time, her eyes overflowing with love as she looked down at the infant, gently rocking her in her arms as Alcina laid back in the bed, her eyes growing heavy with sleep.

Raine smiled as she closed the distance between them once more, leaning over to press a kiss to Alcina's forehead, whispering sweet nothings to her wife until she drifted off to sleep, her skin kissed by the soft glow of the sunrise peeking in through the blinds.

wants i want for law and order: svu (season 26)

a case that makes olivia face the William lewis trauma. it will make her spiral. the suspect will oddly resemble him. do i like seeing olivia in pain? no. trauma is nothing to be entertained by but i like when we see these emotions and the general effects on the mental health.

rollins being brought back, even if it's in a role like dr. wong - i feel that it would suit her, especially with her psychology knowledge

bring back henry mescner. i absolutely want to see the storyline continue.

bring back some oldies - both good and bad characters - let barba and liv reconcilate and still be friends. they deserve it. bring back some of scary POS like erik weber (let's see how this dude is handling his jail sentence. maybe one of the cases has a hit on one of the hard drives he turned in), dale stuckey (maybe a silly episode where he attempts to escape prison and sees olivia again because that would be awkward and hilarious), and maybe - let's explore the possibility of Richard Wheatley being alive because I'm 95% sure he was involved in crimes against women - his treatment towards angela speaks volumes! also, novak and cabot return when???

a PROPER tribute episode to munch

OC Character ~ Alec Cabot Novak

(The Detective)

(I’m gonna mess with the timeline here, so The Cabot-Novak Kids are present when Casey’s attacked in her office, Alex is still in Witsec.)

Detective Alec Cabot-Novak made her gold badge after collaring a rapist her putting herself in the line of fire to protect the victim.

She was given her gold badge and transferred over to Special Victims where the brass assumed she’d become less of a cowboy cop.

They were wrong of course, if anything her presence at SVU only worsened her bad habits, it only provoked her aggression.

Of course, when her mothers are involved the violence only worsened, she became erratic and outlandish.

She knew with money came affluence of course she did her mother was the sole heir to the Cabot fortune, an incredibly large sum of money that led to a lavish lifestyle and all the best schools for Alec and her siblings, as well as a comfortable cushion for her to fall back on should she need to.

What she couldn’t understand was the need to rape and murder when all you possessed all the money in the world.

Regardless, Alec was with her mother every step of the way, (per Casey’s request due to her mother large amount of knowledge that her daughter had inclination to fly off of the deep end.)

“Flowers.”

“You holding out on me?”

“No I’m not seeing anyone, not after Alex, maybe one of my kids was feeling generous, but if there from Jason Whittiker they’re going straight in the trash.”

Alec had been at home when Liv called, she’d woken in a haze answering the phone, but she flew out of her apartment in record speeds when she’d heard Liv telling her what had happened.

And God was she pissed. Of course her first stop would have been the hospital but she knew her siblings would have been there, her mother had a support system.

Her job was locating the bastard who hurt her mother. When Elliot saw who’d done it he’d immediately messaged Alec, and Alec was furious.

She’d kicked the door into his home and the look on Milan’s face, only fuelled her rage.

He stood as if he’d been expecting her, hands behind his back prepared for the arrest but Alec simply chuckled, dragging him from the building.

They made it to the outskirt of the city, Alec stalling the car at an abandoned warehouse, before dragging him out of the car, “Where are we?”

Alec smirked, a manic wolffish grin stretched across her face. “Somewhere no one will hear your screams.”

When they did finally arrive at SVU it had been at least a few hours since Elliot had let her know the identity of her mothers attackers and the beaten and bloodied face of their perp, was enough indication as to what had happened.

“What happened?” Alec shrugged eyes still blazing furiously,

“He resisted arrest, he’s lucky I didn’t shoot him.” Truthfully he had fought back and Alec had the defence wounds to prove it, but she wasn’t about to let everyone know shed been the original aggressor.

“Now I’m going to go see my mother-” Cregan had attempted to call after her, directing her to his office instead but it was futile and Alec was in the elevator before her name had left his lips.

“Hey mama, how you feeling?” Casey groaned lightly her hand grasping Alec’s as the detective sat gingerly at her bedside,

“What happened to your face.” Alec waved off her concern with a light smile,

“Its nothing Mama don’t worry about it. I’m more concerned about you, William says you’ll be alright to go home tomorrow, why don’t you come and stay with me for a while, just till your back on your feet?”

Casey wasn’t given the opportunity to answer when the police commissioner knocked on the hospital room door,

“Detective Novak, can I have a word.”

Alec near snarled at the sound of his voice, “You have some nerve, coming here. Get out.”

“Detective-“

“Get out, I won’t say it again.”

The man relented eventually nodding curtly, “I’ll wait outside.”

Her sisters hand graced her shoulder, Atlas’ expression soft, understanding, “Go talk to him Alec, we’ll be here, I’ve got her.”

She nodded slowly, standing, pressing a soft kiss to his mothers hairline, “I love you mama.”

When she stepped out of the room she was met with a number of the brass all staring at her with an expectant expression, “Are you suspending me?”

Lyle Morris, the Police Commissioner stepped forward, “We are putting you on temporary leave pending investigation.”

Alec nodded although she seemed to hold no guilt or regret in her expression, she simply handed over her badge and gun, “And for the record commissioner,”

The man nodded looking at her as she removed her gun, “I lost one mother, to a case where you all failed to do your jobs and protect her, if I’d have lost another, we’d be having a very different conversation right now. So if you’re going to take my badge and pension make sure you remember that this is the second time I’ve nearly lost a parent to a case, and it’s the second time I have stopped myself from pulling the trigger on the man who did it.”

Two weeks of unpaid leave later she was called in front of the Morris Commission, “Detective Novak, you’ve been called before the Commission to discuss your conduct, during the case involving ADA Novak’s assault, is there anything you’d like to say for yourself?”

Alec nodded walking over to the line of Brass, handing them the photos of his mothers injuries, “4 broken ribs, a torn ACL, a dislocated shoulder and over a dozen cuts and abrasions. Those where the injuries my mother sustained during the attack. My other mother ADA Alexandra Cabot was shot and placed into witness protection while prosecuting a case for SVU. I have no regret about the force I used while arresting the bastard who hurt my mother, and incase you missed it he resisted arrest and I have the documented injuries to prove it. I do this job to put away the bastards who prey upon those who cannot protect themselves, and if any of you here today can look me in the eye and say what I did was wrong then I know its my time to find another profession.”

I took no longer than a few minutes for them to reinstate her position, her rank and her badge.

And Alec walked away smiling, she had her badge back, and she could resume doing exactly what she had been doing for the past two years. Putting away the most sadistic of the population.

Note

What's your take on why SVU has been referring so much to Johnny D and William Lewis this season? Two different characters naming them outright in different episodes, and also all the trial parallels with the Lewis trial. Do you think they're building to something specific in the finale this week for Benson?

I would like to think that they are; in the dgraz era they have been much more intentional about their choices and much better about follow through and it feels like there has to be a Point, even if we don't know what it is yet. I do think there is also a possibility that given the short season and extremely short period for writing and filming that perhaps they do not have the time to get to the Point this season, and are instead laying groundwork for something to happen next season (if they're allowed the room to actually act on it). It is never outside the realm of possibility that they end the season on a cliffhanger, and if I was them at this moment in time I would, just to have something to keep people talking about the show over the summer. Now what that something might actually be, I have no idea, it's not like they've given us anything to go on in the trailer.

But if I may put on my clown shoes for a moment and make a bonkers suggestion:

Can you imagine if the SVU finale ends with Liv at Elliot's door saying "there's something I need to talk to you about?"

Now I do think that's unlikely just timing wise - are svu and oc happening concurrently? So would Elliot even be home? There's no way, I think, that they pick up that conversation in oc bc oc has a lot of plot to wrap up in their finale and can't be devoting time to svu drama and the transition from an svu that ends with eo together to an oc that doesn't acknowledge it would be weird.

But it is I think not impossible that Liv comes to a decision on that - talking to Elliot, in general or about Lewis specifically - in the svu episode. A phone call would do it.

IDK yeah I think they are going somewhere I just don't know where and I don't know how much of it we're gonna see on Thursday and how much will have to keep for later.

They had waited almost a year before trying again, letting the wound of loss scab over enough for confidence to return to them.

In the months that followed, their confidence only grew, especially when they had arrived safely at their 24-week ultrasound and found that everything looked good and their baby was growing as they should be.

Alcina had breathed a deep sigh of relief before looking up at Raine, who was smiling so widely that her cheeks had begun to hurt. As soon as the doctor had left, Raine leaned down to kiss her, cupping her cheeks as she did so, the contact immediately making Alcina swoon and her heart flutter. When Raine pulled back, Alcina chuckled.

"Help me up? I'm very ready to get this little one home so I can lay down and rest. My back is killing me." Alcina spoke, while Raine dutifully helped her wife sit upright, offering her hand once more when she was ready to stand.

"I'm so glad everything is progressing so smoothly." Raine had breathed as they settled into the Lincoln, Alcina situating herself in the passenger seat while Raine perched behind the wheel. Raine leaned over and pressed another kiss to Alcina's temple before taking hold of her hand, kissing each knuckle as she locked eyes with her wife. "Are you hungry, love?"

"Mmhmm, not at the moment. For now, I would really like to be in bed." Alcina chuckled in response, settling back against the seat, her eyes still focused on Raine's, who was smiling back at her.

Raine drove back to the estate, helping Alcina out of the car and upstairs to their room before returning to the kitchen to make her a cup of tea. Her phone buzzed in her pocket and she fished it out, gazing down at the screen, her smile growing.

"Hey mum!" She beamed into the phone, talking with Wendy and Sam, updating them on Alcina's progress and their little one's growth.

"Speaking of Alcina, would you like to talk to her? Before she nods off for a nap? I've just made her a cup of tea, but she was so tired I don't think she'll have the energy to enjoy it."

"I absolutely would love to talk with my daughter-in-law. God knows you only share her medical progress with us." Wendy had replied, laughing as Raine stepped into the room, glancing over at Alcina, who was cradling her baby bump, smiling down at the swell as her hands followed the movements of their growing child.

"Love? Mum is on the line. She's absolutely dying to talk to you about our little bean." Raine smiled, setting the cup of tea down on the bedside table beside Alcina, who was now holding out her hand for the phone.

Raine smiled, placing her phone in Alcina's hand before leaning down to press a kiss to her lips, hearing a muffled 'stop snogging so we can talk!' through the phone. Raine laughed, leaning back so Alcina could talk to Wendy, before Raine pressed another kiss to the top of her head.

They talked for a long while, Alcina comfortably lounging in bed, Raine sitting next to her on her laptop, writing a blog post about Alcina's progressing pregnancy. While talking to Wendy, Alcina reached over to grab Raine's hand, pressing her palm against her bump, right over their moving little bean. Raine smiled, leaning over to press a kiss to Alcina's temple, her thumb slowly brushing over Alcina's bump.

When they ended the call, Alcina turned towards Raine, pressing her body as close to Raine as she could get, her head resting against Raine's shoulder. Raine pressed a kiss to Alcina's forehead, before her wife leaned up and took her lips in a tender kiss, both of them smiling into it.

"How against a baby shower are you?" Raine question with a chuckle, turning her laptop just slightly so Alcina could see the message from Eli on the screen.

"Hmmm, when are they coming draga?" Alcina questioned, stifling a yawn as she huddled closer to Raine's warm body.

"Whenever you'd like." Raine replied, watching Alcina as her eyes drifted shut, her body growing heavy as sleep began to take over. "I'll tell them you'll let them know later."

Alcina mumbled out a response, her eyes blinking open just slightly, long enough to gaze up at Raine, a tired smile tugging at her lips. Raine smiled back, her arm wrapped around Alcina, reaching up to gently brush Alcina's hair back behind her ear.

"Get some sleep, love. You and bean both need it." Raine breathed, her fingers gently ghosting over Alcina's upper arm. "I'll wake you for dinner."

"Mmhmm... Okay..." Alcina breathed, tucking her head beneath Raine's chin, a sigh of content leaving her as she settled into the soft lull of sleep.

I’ll try to explain it without any spoilers or going on needless tangents that I can do a post about…

Let’s set the scene

MIOD follows Marcel (Bee-Human hybrid with social AND anger issues) as he is taken out of his secure Navy position by his father, Zeppelin who runs the world organization called MIOD. MIOD (or Macrocosm Institution of Discovery) is an organization that handles all magic instances, whether it be rouge magical creatures or abuse of magic, but mostly all the world governments they work with mainly just want protection from their H-BOTS (a droid made to supervise towns and collect magic evidence and help in magical threat). MIOD in the current situation just researches, deals with national and foreign affairs and educates the masses on magic (and that they should just never use it) BUT THATS WHERE MARCEL COMES IN!!

Marcel is brought in by Zeppelin and he meets 3 other people, Jen Pham (A Freelance Mechanic who was hired after she fixed Zeppelin’s car at a record speed with perfection), Delilah Renee (An old friend of Marcel’s who used to be a child star for an educational tv show MIOD used to have) and Josefina Pond (a stay-at-home parent who mainly worked for MIOD from home, conducting research for clean energy and homeschooling), Marcel also meets Josefina’s 9 year old daughter, Stella but she is quickly sent to the MIOD daycare. Zeppelin explains that MIOD recently started getting slandered by a certain counter group called EToM for their not so clean image that was brought by the recent dangerous malfunctions of the H-Bots which is why he needs a human team to bring back trust and help out in situations that the H-Bots aren’t best suited to handle as the Discovery team!

Stella usually sneaks onto these missions, and no one knows how, especially in their first mission where they go to Europe and deal with an ancient fire breathing dragon (MIOD is a speculative fiction-)

Eventually in their first mission they end up meeting EToM. Even though EToM has hundreds of members all around the globe, the main 3 that Marcel and his team always run into are Elliot (EToM’s “team leader” who has robotic hands similar to an H-Bots), Anaya (the brawn of the team but the nicest one) William (a teenage vampiric bat who just follows his team around) and a hacked H-BOT (named a “E-BOT”, controlled by 2 people named Akrosa and Urvashi). Elliot especially holds a grief over Marcel for “choosing” to be a leader for MIOD, and they become enemies. MIOD wins in defeating the dragon, but they now have to deal with EToM now- (and that’s basically the start of MIOD)

That’s all I am going to explain FOR NOW, as I slowly start to roll out MIOD art, animatics and comics, as there are some things that aren’t what they seem by first read.

Yes furries (Marcel, Urvashi, William and Jaya) are normal members of society, not actual animals who live in the wild or captivity. They aren’t really magical creatures but some (aka all) are classified (By MIOD) as such since they “aren’t exactly human in physical traits or behaviors”, For Example, William needs to consume blood as a normal part if his diet, and Urvashi and Jaya have sharper teeth and great agility/flexibility (yeah you can see what is about to happen-) ask to know more (although it will be really hard to explain this whole system)
