A similar thing is happening for me with BG3 as with ME, in the sense that after I made my Dark Urge OC I really haven’t been able to make another one and connect with them in the same way as the original. Seems like this is a “one main OC with the occasional background character” kinda brain!

So I have this character.
He only exists within the realm of a roleplay between @redwingedwhump and I where poor Harold Nightley gets stolen away from the battlefield by a vampire intent on using him as bait to coerce Yves into giving up the secret of his seemingly endless immortality, and Harry ends up said vampire's, uh, let's say unwilling guest and prized possession.
So there's a servant in the house who befriends Harry, hesitantly at first and then with firm loyalty. A young man sold by his parents to vampires as a child, raised as a blood doll and eventually won by a different vampire in a card game, where he is quite happy to be a servant.
His name is Friedrich.
He ends up dying due to having helped Harry, murdered before Harry's eyes as a punishment, left to slowly bleed out from a gut wound with Harry forced to watch it happen.
Then he is turned into a vampire, brought to England in the middle of WWI, and discovers a whole countryside town more or less willing to just call him Freddy and fold him right into the community as though he always belonged there.
And I have been thinking about him all day. Finding a family in the midst of what he has been told is the Enemy, taught how to be a vampire without causing suffering, and going from having never gone beyond a few blocks in Berlin to wandering meadows and fields and befriending sheep.

[ Jin(whb MC) thoughts ]
Jin's such an impossibly funny lidol gremlin to me 'cause she's openly horny on main with every demon, but any kind of honest affection/compliment shuts down her windows in 5 seconds flat.
She's also surprisingly emotionally intelligent so she can tell pretty well when someone actually means it. And don't even get me started on her reaction to casual affection like holding hands or just a simple 'I like you', you can easily tell which demon *coughSatancough* has learned how to exploit this without even trying too hard.

Finally!! Have my honey blorbo birthday!
... well i have been wanting to announce for a while but i just keep forgetting oops--
Anyway, Ashley's birthday is on... tiny drum roll
JULY 20TH 🎉🎉
here are my reasonings for this date:
Originally, I was torn between the month of June (the month I created her) and July. My mental note said that as long as its during the summer holidays cause that's when Hen's family went back to their home country for family gatherings and so the cousins can celebrate her birthday together
the thing that cemented this date is that July 20th is well... national lollipop day! Considering she has sweets as part of her toppat identity, i suppose its fitting
this is more apply to Streamer!Ashley, but this day is also the birthday of Tartaglia/Childe from Genshin. She is happy to have a fav character to share a birthday with. (yes, she plays genshin AND a childe main in streamer AU, i will have a post that explains more someday lol)
This is for the ABC trio shenanigans, but there is this funny thing that despite Ashley joins the Toppat clan earlier than Brutus, she is still considered younger cause Brutus just happened to be born 20 days earlier than her
and also im well aware her birthday happened to be the same month as my own, but oh well, ill take it.

Now that I’m getting back into RWBY a little bit I think back on the OC Ozcarnation I put between Ozymandias (the King of Vale) and Ozpin and laugh because he is very much the closest thing to a villain arc any of the Ozcarnations ever got.
Like it’s not entirely his fault considering the backstory I gave him but Osamu is the definition of that “aren’t you tired of being nice?” meme.
King of Vale landing in this feral adult’s head like “um ... hello?”
Osamu: *feral vibes intensify*
Ozpin on the flip side course corrects very hard the other way once Osamu crash-lands in his head and becomes the definition of Cheerful Malicious Compliance. So polite, so friendly, so skilled at finding and exploiting loopholes that he could probably make lawyers cry.
This isn’t to say Osamu isn’t kind, since he is still a likeminded soul, but kindness can take different forms and Osamu’s leaned very hard into the “this is for your own good” territory.
Which is, perhaps, one of the reasons in my aus why Ozpin insists on hearing verbal consent, even in situations like v3 with Pyrrha in the vault. Because he knows what it’s like to have silence taken for consent when it’s not. Because he knows that just because something is necessary doesn’t mean it should be forced onto the person who is going to spend the rest of their life dealing with the aftermath.

As a book girlie and a weeb/otaku this errant thought hit me like a brick wall ...
If my happy ass got isekai'd into Naruto (specifically). Anyone who knows me knows I'm befriending and/or flirting with Kakashi. So, any time he pops out a copy of my Make out Tactics you know my ass is immediately reading over his shoulder like "sir, no judgement, but I am curious. I miss my shelves of...uh ...literature..."
As such, I can picture this conversation...
Kakashi: What are you doing?
Me: Reading.
Kakashi: over my shoulder.
Me: eeeyup.
Kakashi: uh-huh. Why?
Me: why not?
Kakashi: ...alright then ...I have...*ahem* an extra copy of you want to read from the beginning.
Me: Please and thank you .... OMG did he really!!! The bastard!!!
Kakashi: I know. It's...wait! This is the X book! Stay here. I'll be back. *snaps book closed and disappears*

u should make an oc who is a kid of big mom... so many possibilities!
Ah, yes... I can see your point but I think at this point, I'm not going down that route. Maybe in the future, who knows. I do love Pudding and a few others of Big Mom's kids. And I really enjoyed reading the Whole Cake Island arc (I'm currently in Wano so it wasn't that long ago). Still, I think I've seen enough of Big Mom for a while (and we're still having her in Wano...). (Also, I already have six One Piece OCs...)
I did at some point think about making a marine and give her a female love interest but idk on how to tie her to the rest of the characters because the marines and the pirates are pretty much separated other than having to battle it out now and then. So that's why I haven't gone down this route so far.

NANUI TIDBIT #1
Nanui was a very quiet and shy child. Being raised within the Metkayina, he had a sign language to default to instead of speaking that his clan could understand so he spent most of his childhood selectively mute.
It wasnt until his parents passed in his late teens that he actually started actively speaking, trying his best to be as much help as he possibly could to his auntie and sister whom he lived with afterward. He had to ask a lot of questions to understand what was needed of him.
Soon also developing into goofing off and positive affirmations he knew his sister needed to hear as she did her best to be the adult of the two of them being 7 years older than him.
And once he started speaking he gradually realized how good it felt to laugh and be loud and boisterous. Developing into the goofy extrovert he is now in his 20s. Unafraid to make a fool of himself if it will make someone smile.
