It might be a very unpopular opinion, perhaps I will be entirely alone on this, but...
Is anyone else not into this?
I consider Lucifer extremely old fashioned, which certainly isn't a bad thing. So I feel like this gesture came from a very thoughtful, sweet, even innocent place.
But I'm the type of person who likes to wear what I wanna wear. I definitely wouldn't want someone else choosing my outfit for me.
Despite that... I chose the blue outfit xD

Choosing my outfit and my meal?
Lucifer, my dear... you're crossing into unfriendly territory ( • ＿・)
Mainly because I'm a picky eater, but I also like to make my own decisions lol
Not gonna lie though, the power struggle is a turn on~
I wasn't sure which choice I wanted to go with, so I tried them all.
The first choice resulted in Lucifer basically dismissing us/brushing off our comment.
The second choice earned a pretty snarky/lowkey hostile comment from Lucifer.
In the end, I chose the third option.
That's a very bold claim you're making there, Lucifer. Try not to be too overconfident~
Ugh, there it is... "In fact, I know you far better than you know yourself."
Realistically speaking, if anyone ever said that to me, I would instinctively respond with an annoyed "fuck you."
But that's not an option here. And I can agree that staying in the Devildom would be the best choice, since I would be happiest in the Devildom.
Only problem is that we have to return to the "present", a detail that Lucifer is still unaware of.
Still.... Claiming to know us better than we know ourselves... for some reason, that statement makes my skin crawl.
It feels soooooooo manipulative to me. And declaring it as "fact" makes it even worse.
And yet... there's something about manipulative Lucifer that I really like~ (≖⌣≖)
I know, I'm fucked up and have equally fucked up kinks lol
Then we reach this part :
You supposedly know me better than anyone else, myself included, yet you laugh when I say that I feel depressed?!
He really is a sadist... (˶ •̀⤙•́ ˶ )
As someone who actually does have depression, this would have likely pissed me off while also making me feel super sad/gloomy lol
Though I know Lucifer probably didn't mean it in a bad or negative way. I think he's just enjoying the challenge that comes with our stubbornness. It may seem like I'm making excuses for him, which I absolutely am. And that's because I love this sadistic old man, so it's all good xD

Lesson 35 spoilers with all the pieces (hard lesson and locked lesson) you know how it is...
Okay I didn't forget about the new lesson, but I played it last night so my memory's already fading lol.
There are a couple main things that I remember, though, so here they are.
First, I love Simeon.
Not you, too. First Solomon, then Diavolo, now Simeon is laughing about Lucifer being his usual self. Honestly.
However, I really loved this whole part. Simeon telling you to close your eyes and listen to your inner voice... and giving you advice about Lucifer, a being he's known for years upon years.
What a guy. He's pretty, he's smart, he's sweet, he's emotionally intelligent... what's not to love? I swear this fandom sleeps on this man.
Meanwhile, Lucifer's brothers are busy calling him out.
LOL. I just thought this was so funny.
Okay, let's talk Luci real quick.
He's so annoying to me, I'm really remembering why I went through my hating Lucifer phase. BUT to be clear, I don't hate him, I love him, but he's also annoying.
It's like he's playing a game of chess with MC. He wants to win, but he wants to outmaneuver everybody so that it looks like MC is the one who is winning. I didn't need Simeon to tell me that Lucifer is essentially using our own feelings against us, in an attempt to get what he wants, which is for us to stay with him.
It's like what Belphie did, but instead of trying to lock us up, he's playing mind games. It's because he has way too much pride to straight up say out loud to anyone that he doesn't want us to leave. So he has to go about it in a way that doesn't hurt his pride.
Because in the end, that's what his sin is, isn't it?
I'm not concerned. This is what we just went through with the other six, but Lucifer-flavored this time. And really, there's no way to fully depict the sin of pride without making it all about mind games, being in control, trying to get what you want without seeming like you need or want anyone else. Seems pretty clear to me.
So MC is just gonna set that guy straight and then he'll make a pact with us and then we'll see what happens after that.
HOWEVER I did find this part extremely interesting:
YES. I WANNA BE A PROFESSOR LEMME TEACH ALL THE DEMONS ABOUT THE HUMAN WORLD.
Oh uh sorry for the caps lock lol. But seriously, like I actually want this to happen. I don't care about the salary (like these guys aren't keeping MC in style already), but I think I would lose my mind if I had to be a student again.
I also liked the explanation about Mammon's luck. I love that he isn't lucky at all, but the humans he's in a pact with are. I'm a superstitious motherfucker, so I'm constantly doing things in the name of luck. I just looove the idea that being in a pact with Mams would make me lucky lol.
Poor buddy. Just let me do the things that need luck and then I'll give you the profits. I'd do it just to make him happy lol.
Okay, that's it! The rest of these are just moments that had me cackling.
C'mon, Satan! Where's your sense of adventure??
Levi, my baby. We really gotta work on this. I can think of several reasons you'd be good to travel with~
I love him so much it hurts. Don't even bother, Luke.
Didn't this exact thing happen last hard lesson? Barb calls Dia out and he gets that little frown and says something like oh uh...
Also is Diavolo more concerned about Lucifer or MC, do you think?
All I know is I love Barbatos's expression lol.

I will never be able to get over how eager Mephisto always is to openly simp for Diavolo lol
Then it gets even better :
Diavolo is cockblocking Lucifer! (>,ᗢ,<)
I think it's funny how Barbatos is the one who immediately picked up on that, while Mephisto ran off to fulfill Diavolo's request without question or hesitation.

I know I’m a bit late to the party, and this topic has already been discussed by others… but I wanted to add my own thoughts/opinions regarding Lesson 35.
Personally… I think Mammon is absolutely correct :
Oh, I beg to differ, Satan.
Maybe Lucifer won't be fully controlled by his own powers, but it's extremely possible that he's being heavily influenced by them.
I'll go a step further and say I firmly believe that, although Lucifer may be better equipped at controlling himself/hiding the fact that his sin is starting to take over compared to his brothers, he IS still being greatly affected by his pride.
I previously said that Lucifer genuinely seems so manipulative and borderline controlling now (moreso than ever).
I also said that I strangely like that side of him not just in a kinky way either lol. I just truly mean that, generally speaking.
Why?
Because doesn’t it fit Lucifer perfectly?
I mean, think about it :
A prideful demon such as Lucifer couldn’t possibly be wrong. His viewpoint is the only thing that should make sense. His opinions matter, his advice and decisions should be accepted with the utmost gratitude. Because Lucifer knows best.
He’s right.
Call me crazy, but I feel like all of that plays in so well with the power struggle going on between Lucifer and MC right now.
(In reality, I would be butting heads way more with Lucifer. Simply because I am a pretty stubborn person, and I would challenge his idea that he knows me better than I know myself..... Yes, I still haven't let that go lol)
But I’m most excited for what may happen next…. because I wonder if Mephisto’s arrival will end up fueling Lucifer’s sin.
We all know how much Mephisto dislikes Lucifer.
And it’s bad enough that Mephisto is going to successfully interrupt a private trip between Lucifer and MC… but if Mephisto starts questioning and/or contradicting Lucifer, inserting himself in their conversations, acting like he knows more than Lucifer… perhaps it will lead to Lucifer’s pride consuming him.
After all, who is Mephisto or anything else to question or challenge the Avatar of Pride?~
Plus if MC is directly involved, I’m positive that will only exacerbate matters.
Well… either way, MC will be involved because we have to save our favorite sadistic old man haha xD
Anyway!
I am seriously looking forward to the next Lesson.
Maybe I’m a bit of a sadist myself for saying this, but I kinda really want to see Lucifer struggle to control his sin to the point where he absolutely needs MC’s help.
At the very least, it would be a good reason for Lucifer to potentially give in/change his mind and finally make a pact with us.
Either way, I’m excited for what will come next (:

I have to admit, I was caught a bit off guard by Lucifer's sudden "idea"
To be fair, it's an appealing suggestion.
I am indeed interested in history... although I would probably teach all of the most gruesome, horrendous, inhuman, cruel parts of human world history lol
But! Lucifer's suggestion made me both confused and suspicious.... And then this came :
It honestly pained me to do so, but I chose the option "It's not like I'm going to be here forever"
And wow... Lucifer didn't hold back.
This legit made me go "Awwww! Lucifer, you're so cute! 🥹"
He clearly wants us to stay in the Devildom, so it makes sense that he would make suggestions to keep us further tied there.
Mr. Tough Guy Lucifer doesn't want to admit how he's feeling. Which would be fine with me, since I can read between the lines.
But then he hits us with this :
This... this.... this manipulative bastard!!!
I seriously hate when people think they know me better than I know myself (something Lucifer actually says later on), but I hate it even more when they're right.
And Lucifer is 100% correct here... It just feels like, because he knows how we feel, he's using our feelings against us to manipulate us into staying in the Devildom.
I hate it but love it but hate it but love it but- ahhh!!!
I called him a child when he said "I don't want to", but after this interaction... I would be pouting like a damn baby while following him xD

Simeon is a true angel, blessing us with kindness and words of wisdom/advice 🥹
At least Simeon apologizes for laughing, unlike a certain darling sorcerer we all know and love lol
Lucifer is a big softie deep down, we all know this. So I can forgive him even if he is using our own feelings to manipulate/pressure us into staying.
But my biggest question is :
What's gonna happen in the end?
I know the "present" brothers are still waiting for us to return. But.... It will be so difficult and bittersweet to leave the "past" brothers.
I know they're still the same demons, just in different timelines. But I feel like we got so much closer with the boys in Nightbringer, learned so much more about them. So it will be sad if we have to say goodbye...
And if that ultimately does happen, I wonder if the devs will return us to the OG Obey Me! game or just continue the story within Nightbringer.
I suppose only time will tell

Finally, we have reached the point where Lucifer is the last brother we need to forge a pact with.
With that being said, it didn't exactly surprise me to see that Lucifer isn't gonna agree so easily.
This response seriously made me laugh
Later on, Mammon says exactly what I was thinking during this moment :
Lucifer always acts so mature and serious, I will always jokingly refer to him as an old man (even though he technically is an old man. No... an ancient man xD)
But "I don't want to" does seem like something a child would say lol
Lucifer continues by doubling down... which is perfectly fine.
After all, I wouldn't expect anything different from the Avatar of Pride (he's just playing hard to get~)
Then later on :
I really wish they included "I don't want to" as an option soooooooo badly!
Because that's what I would say in reality out of pure spite, I feel like it was a missed opportunity xD
