you hum, it's not a yes or a no, just a sleepy sound and he laughs at how out of it you are even though you're trying to fight it, stroking your face and carding his fingers through your hair.
"I love you.. thank you." he whispers. this moment is so delicate. he worries a bit that if he speaks too loud it'll be gone and he'll wake up in his teenage bedroom, staring at the bottom of his scratched up bunk bed.
"f'what?" you blink slowly.
"for everything..." he grins softly, thinking about that night
of your wedding, when you told him you wanted kids with him.
after the ORCA fundraiser dinner, when you asked him if he imagined having kids with you.
"we made it. that future we talked about..."
you smile softly, more awake now. "thanks for making it with me."
he laughs, muffins his face in the pillow and resting a hand on the baby, willing them not to wake. "how can you thank me for that?"
you grin, more sleepy than anything but still full of mischief.
"how can you thank me for getting me pregnant?" you giggle at your husband's flustered face.
"how can you thank me for being here like I promised years later?" you tease, bringing up night of the fundraiser.

so we all know how i hate myself (im cool, im trying my best, i just have shit mental health) and like theres that one person who asked what my deadname is almost 2 months ago now right. so he was one of the four people ever i shared my tumblr with. I have a couple asks about trolls (A. Clown, ilu, yes, report), and there's one, very annoying, troll-like creature that annoys me personally, so I'm going to answer this
I like to rate trolls on two scales
Harmless to harmful
Boring to amusing
The one I recommended people block is harmful and boring
They made a blog and immediately started reblogging-- not MY posts, but my reblogs of OTHER people's positivity
That's not a danger or annoyance to myself, in this case, it's a danger to my followers and those I interact with
That means an immediate block from my blog, and a late night of checking for new blogs that might indicate round 2 (to reiterate, I was the only one they had reblogged from)
Unfortunately, I didn't catch that troll until their fifth reblog
I told those I know personally to block the blog before checking their notifications
To others, I'm sorry I didn't catch them on the first post, I'm sorry that you had to see depressing nonsense on amazing positivity posts
That's why I ALSO said in the tags, just block, there's nothing interesting to see, no amusement is going to come out of it, don't send them anons, just block and move on
Thefakersystem, on the other hand, is harmless and amusing, commenting lol on random posts and actually making me laugh at times-- they've really only reblogged my original posts, so they're not using my blog like it's a buffet of victims to pick from
They are not using my blog to attack others, they're not a direct threat to my followers or those I interact with
They're an annoying little background buzz that sometimes gets a chuckle. Everyone already knows they exist, so I don't need to tell anyone to be careful, and people either already have them blocked or know what to look for
Now, I did see that they may be involved in the anons going around, potentially the triggering ones
That's a bit different, now we have a problem, they've gone up to "mildly harmful question mark?"
I'm keeping an eye on the situation and will act appropriately, as needed
I don't know how long you've been around, but does anyone remember the shadow the hedgehog blog?
I actually spoke directly with that blog at the time and found out it was joke-- I was scared for them and my followers, so I do my due diligence where needed
But my followers can be rabid, and the shadow blog started getting death threats and suibait, and then I put a stop to it, on behalf of the TROLL, calling out those users specifically and making it very clear that this blog does not support that-- the users that sent those anons essentially ruined any fun that people were having-- and trust me, it was hilarious for most people, or I would have stopped it earlier
I have also been accused numerous times of coordinating mass reports against real users, so I need to be careful what callouts I make about who, and what I "ask" my followers to do, because there's no winning either way
And if you ARE the annoying, troll-like creature that I mentioned, you're a massive hypocrite and I hope you know everyone is laughing at you
Because if people weren't laughing, you'd be hard blocked

this is def inspired by something ive watched before i just dont remember what. anyway. newly weds buck and eddie driving home from work (maybe) buck is driving. they're talking yknow shooting the shit and then all of a sudden this woman comes outta no where and runs in front of the car eddie yells "BUCK" and buck hits the breaks almost running her over but he doesn't. the woman has blood coming out of her eyes and she puts her hands on the hood of the car and tries to say something before she collapses on the ground. buddie get out of the car and try to help her but her heart stops and while eddie does cpr buck calls 911
so it goes the cops come and question them and buck is just sitting there like oh my god did I hit her? is it my fault she died and eddie is like um no !!!! it was obviously something else. anyway they get let go and they go home. there's an investigation n shit but no leads so the case goes cold. a few months later there's another victim and the 118 responds and it's the sameeee thing!! that happened to buddie and ofc they're freaked out
something something other things happen but I'm thinking buck somehow gets involved bc he's nosy and gets kidnapped by the baddie who did that to the other victims
the second part is the aftermath of his disappearance but imma leave it for another time bc this this is so loooong. hmu if yall want more tho !!

But I remember a while ago you answered an ask where you were curious to know which AU’s/tropes we would be interested in sharing, and after seeing these few tweets (pasted below!) I was wondering what your thoughts are on writing about age regression? i’ve seen it written a lot in other fandoms, but there is such a small amount in this fandom, which honestly was a bit surprising to me! I know so many authors write it in for characters that are very angsty and need a (healthy!) coping mechanism for all the stress they deal with (much like poor fictional!matty) and it’s just so comforting to read all the hurt/comfort/fluff that those fics bring. Fictional!Matty’s just always going through it and needs so much love and comfort and i’d love to hear ur thoughts on if it might be something you’re familiar with with reading and/or possibly writing?

Hello Anon! First off I want to say thank you so much for sharing your vulnerability here! This is a judgement free safe zone 🥰 Never be ashamed or nervous about asking about a trope or AU situation - I'm writing an mpreg fic and an omega verse fic in a fandom that doesn't have any other fics with those tropes on AO3 (though if anyone else wants to write some so then I could read it I would be SO HYPE)
Now on to your question - unfortunately age regression isn't something I really see myself writing (I'm sorry!) and isn't something that I'm very interested in personally. BUT I'm super hype that we're able to have a conversation about it! I've come across it in my many years of fandom hopping and unfortunately it's just not a concept that excites me or that I have any interest in writing, and since it's not something that I personally read, or am interested in, I don't think anything that I write with that trope would be very good. I think that there are probably some very talented writers out there tackling it, and I think that's incredible, and I hope that seeing this ask encourages anyone else in the fandom that has been thinking about it, to dip their toes in and give writing it a try! I just will not be the one trying and for that I am very sorry :(
